The ICJ does not have the ability to enforce its rulings, provisional or not. They did not demand a ceasefire despite South Africa including it as a central part of their case, and instead outlined that Israel must halt their attacks on "Palestinians" (civilians) as well as ensure safety for humanitarian aid. However, since Israel has been operating under the lie that all civilian deaths are just a result of them trying to target Hamas and them being caught in the crossfire, this isn't likely to change much.

Also, Israel is led by a collection of petty monsters who will interpret this ICJ ruling, toothless as it is, an insult and will take it out on Gaza. Today might be the most violent day yet. Continue striking and keep Palestinians in your thoughts.

So I've read and re-read and re-read the whole mirror scene in passion manhwa and some novel excerpts found on tktk. And let me tell you!! The webtoon doesn't do it justice!! You can see that taeui is against it yet some of his expressions and dialogues say the opposite! And then there's illay with his one track mind😒😒 (finding out he doesn't have that much game was hilarious though)

well, see when you put it like that... 😭 i still think he's an ass overall, and i just KNOW he'll undo any sort of goodwill in the future. i think personally i'm just trying to cope with the fact that toju is in his grasp now, so i'm really hoping sabel will learn and become a better person so it won't be so miserable for him. therefore seeing sabel be a *little* nice gives me an inkling of hope. (i am a fool, i know)

(this is so long ago im so sorry) you know what, sabel's intentions are never meant to be mean, for whatever that's worth LMAO which i guess means he is capable of recognising Toju's pain and changing his behaviour- except he also justifies and dismisses Toju's pain a lot because it's a "necessity" and Toju will "get used to it"
