Coming in frustrated from a complicated day at work? Goku will sit you down and let you vent about it to him or if you want to let out some anger maybe some sparring or needed training to boost your power level, it reminds him of another friend he has who always tries to surpass him and has a big attitude (cough cough Vegeta)

If baking is your outlet for stress or if you just like doing it as a side hobby, Goku makes it a bit more fun, I mean trying to maneuver his big, muscly body around yall's small kitchen, bumping into everything, taking caution to not knocking anything over cause it might make you mad is really comedy gold!

"Oh crap! I broke one of the plates again, sorry baby 🥺" "It's fine Goku, that one was just one someone gave to me when we moved in, I didn't like it anyway." 🤣

9/10 for help though, although you had to tell him the difference between a baking spatula and a spatula tho but that's about it. He'll go fetch some ingredients for you if you don't have any or ran out. You two did make the most awesome peach cobbler though uwu

The biggest pair of puppy dog eyes he gives you when he asks you if he can lick the spoon 🥺

Gives gooood shoulder massages 💯 if you're really tense/tired after your daily life activities, he'll even offer to give massages after training and you're here thinking: how does this man have the energy?? we just sparred for a good hour '

One time you asked your sweet bf if you could touch his hair, it went something like this:

"You want to touch my hair?" Goku=cutely confused "yea..I understand if you don't want me to, I was just wondering cause it looks so soft." Goku:"Well, you can go ahead :) I don't mind."

Your hand rises up to the top of his head (he has to bend down halfway to meet your height level cause he's almost 6 foot 😂) as you pet his jet black hair, and to your surprise it was really soft, just like you had hoped for.

"What kind of shampoo do you use babe?"you asked curiously. "Umm..it was actually one of Bulma's new conditioners, I accidentally used it instead of my usual hair hair soap." he chuckles, "What is my hair like super soft now--huh?"before he could finish his sentence, your whole face was in his hair lmaoo, you couldn't help it, it was like you were in a cloud, a fluffy cloud that gave off the scent of linen and waterfalls.

Speaking of waterfalls, he flew you to the most beautiful nature trail, you never even knew that this universe had one until Goku mentioned to you that there was a Namekian who literally knew the whole status of the universe along with the supreme kai. But wow, was it amazing to behold with your own eyes, vibrant flowers were scattered across the land, along with the mingling sounds of birds and let's not forget the waterfall..

You two trudged upon a hill and there it was, you could not believe your eyes, it had to be the most biggest one in the whole multiverse. "Isn't it awesome?" Goku asked, "I was thinking I could take you here since you like nature a whole lot.". The Saiyan sure does think about you a whole lot which is sweet. You hum in agreement and sit down to watch the endless display of nature's art, your boyfriend follows suit and swings his arm around you pulling you close to him. "We should do this more often" You sigh in content leaning in to the Saiyan's touch. Goku gives you a peck on the head as you two sit back and enjoy the sounds and each other's company.

Just finished Phase 2 volume 3! This volume included: The MTMTE 2012 Annual + issues 9-13, The RID 2012 Annual + issues 10-11, Signal to Noise and Spotlights: Thundercracker, Bumblebee and Megatron!

My thoughts will be below! ⤵️

MTMTE 2012 Annual:

Started off super wacky with Magnus 😂 Then got really interesting with Crystal City disappearing, The Metrotitan being underneath and the Galactic Council making their appearance! I liked how they tried to recruit Magnus and he said nah and smiled :)

RID 2012 Annual:

Absolutely LOVED the vintage/retro comic pages they did for the story/flashbacks of Nova's group!! Why so evil, but so cool looking?? I'm curious to see what all that with the Metrotitan and Starscream meant! 🤔

MTMTE 9-11:

Absolute banger. Probably one of my favorite stories so far!! I'm sorry but a murder mystery?? on Cybertron? in the past?? with stellar art!?! Sign me up any day.

Also it was great to finally learn more about Senator Shockwave and the rest of the Characters! Like Drift, Chromedome and Whirly! The back and forth with all the banter and the layers of fronts and corruption ahhh *chefs kisses*

Also I thought this ⬆️ was so cute bc it's a fact right out of Prowls characters bio/info sheet/page.

MTMTE 12:

This is the Surprise! Give you a mini heart attack issue lol Bc of my own silliness I was stressed the whole time reading it 😂 but it was really good!! We got to learn a bunch about Rewind. And that him and Chromedome are Conjunx' !! 🥺💞

MTMTE 13:

This was a super fun issue! I'm absolutely loving all this Magnus character time!!

The Holomatter Avatars were pretty funny 😂 Whirl was too adorable and I thought it was really sweet that Magnus chose to look like Verity 🥺 Uncle Magnus misses his kid.

I felt bad for Swerve ;_; also I'm excited to see more from Cyclonus and Tailgate!! This ship is full of liars lol 😂

RID 10-11:

10 was an issue where Orion (previously Optimus) is currently hunting down Jihaxus to get answers for stuff and things. There is quite a bit of time jumping back and forth which always gets me confused 😂 it was interesting tho!

Issues 11 Starscream takes action against his Deceptibros (Just Shockwave, Soundwave and their posse really) and I really look forward to his team up with Prowl, if it goes anywhere from here! Also Arcee killing more people rip Ravage, Frenzy and those other guys 🫡 and a wild Megatron makes a reappearance?!?!

Signal to Noise:

It was a little Lost Light interlude! It was from Rung's perspective. I feel like I haven't seen much from him specifically so it was pretty cool and interesting :> Like everything, I'm curious to see where it goes!

Spotlights:

Thundercrackers was enjoyable! It just reinforced that he was good leaning, or at least not one for senseless violence. I really like him and hope he makes a reappearance! I'm curious what he's up to on earth

Bumblebee's was fine. Him struggling to be the leader and feeling like he has to prove himself, but getting the job done!

Megatron's was a banger. I absolutely love his monologs. What he thinks of his Decepticons and the 'Pep talk' he gave Starscream to get him back to his usual self.

Final random thoughts:

Of all the storylines, MTMTE is still my favorite to read rn. I must admit, Rodimus tho is stressing me out as the leader 😂 I was gonna say my fav characters rn but, there are just too many haha

I've already hopped into volume 4 so I'll be seeing you soon with more ramblings! 👋

so after the concert I went and re-read some of your drabbles because I miss oc and jk immediately and then I realized one thing about our in which jk, whenever oc makes a mistake or stresses him out, even though he will express his frustration and frown and look grumpy, it would wash away in a split second just to remind them that the negative emotion he feels isn't directed towards oc and it seems as though he just cannot say negative words towards them even tho sometimes he is clearly mad 😭😭, he often says "I'm not mad at you", "You're driving me crazy!", "I'm just sad" and so on.

Tbh him having solar + ketu influence is kind of a green flag imo. He’ll still have that Venusian affection but he won’t be forcing it down your throat all the time. The sun/ketu is probably better for the long term as it’ll ground out the Venusian tendency to love people as aesthetic pieces of art that they’ll quickly get bored of instead of actual people.

Uttaraashada is actually one of my favourite naks🫣 a lot of my besties have it. I think solars have a rep for being oblivious or himbos but a lot of them just have a stable sense of self and aren’t the kind of people that “need” relationships

My grandpa has revati sun, purvaashada moon conjunct ketu, he’s a very laid back, as opposed to my grandma who is kind of a diva😭 he’s naturally introverted but not shy as he only speaks when he feels the need to say something.

He’s also very humble and kind but also a no nonsense type so he’s not very opinionated or superficially romantic. He is very devoutly religious but never preaches to us. He also paints a lot of religious icons and portraits of my grandma 🥺 they have a very cute dynamic

Hi! Just came to your blog recently for the DOL but stayed for your art and just you, because you’re so fun to watch (not creepy at all :>)

Anyways, as a fellow artist, I feel you because I’m almost never satisfied with my art, but I found a way to kind of overcome it? This is just a suggestion, I can’t guarantee it works, but it works for me :>

If you don’t feel good about your illustrations, you can take a break from drawing, but taking a break from drawing doesn’t mean you have to take a break from art. Art comes in many forms, For me it’s collage digitally, and taking pictures of random stuff, if I feel old I even crochet dolls of my OCs and make ugly little shirts for them. The idea is that the joy of making things isn’t hung by a string but many strings into a net to catch our fall? if that makes sense lol.

Usually after doing this, I go back to drawing, and I’d find that I forgot how to draw, but after a little while it comes back, and I usually find my art a bit different from what it was.

I’m sorry for such a long ask, or if I come off as weird. I love your art and your humor vv much, the way you draw bodies is so appealing I feel the need to practice more anatomy so I can one day achieve the beauty of yours. I even started my own dol art blog because of you lol. I look forward to what you have in the future, but take all the time you want off to feel better and drink lots of water<3

To be fair, I think different pieces take different amounts of time. The recent bee drawings were relatively quick because they're not super detailed and I had a clear reference to work off of for both of them. But original compositions with full backgrounds can take me AGES (especially because I don't use a lot of fancy brushes that would make things like leaves easier to put on the canvas).

The recent Oscar one I'd been chipping away at very slowly for weeks before posting aha. (process shots under the cut)

First sketched it back during v9c2 (you can tell because the other rough Ruby sketch is right next to it).

And I redrew it, no joke, four times before I was satisfied enough to start colouring 💀

the second one was close, but i tried to line it differently than usual and it just Did Not look how I wanted it to so I had to go back and try a different way. Am currently in a style shift phase which makes it very tricky aha.

The only other big thing that helps with speed is practice. Which is everyone's least favourite word, I know. I've been drawing for a long time so I'm very familiar with both my tools (shortcuts and program) and how to draw the things I most often do. So the biggest hurdles I run into now are just if I am trying to do something new or that I don't quite know how to execute. But even in those instances, I have habits for what to look for and how to approach so I usually can overcome them fairly easily.

Being borderline obsessed with something you wanna draw also helps tho. I started drawing fanart for RWBY at the end of 2020 and drew more than 60 fully rendered pieces in 2021 alone. Which is something I'd never done before. Not just your style improves with that amount of practice.

But even if you're not super fast, there's nothing wrong with that!!! We live in a time where art is seen more as content than it is art which makes it seem like speed is something to prioritize... makes me sad.

What people post and how often they post it isn't necessarily indicative of how quickly they work. A lot of styles, especially more painterly types, can't even be created that quickly. And most artists have lots of unfinished WIPs and things they struggle with too that their audiences never see. There's no one right way to do anything. In my opinion, the most important part is just to make sure you enjoy the process. Any reward that comes outside of that is just a bonus 💕

LIL REVIEW TIME (NO SPOILERS): i was very skeptical going into it bc of how cringe the trailer was, but honestly??? fun film!!!

the worldbuilding wasn't too mainstreamified (glances at the original d&d movies) but there was enough exposition that my parents weren't at all confused. plenty of little references for ppl who know more abt the lore, but they still weren't super obscure so u don't need to be a diehard fan to get them. a silly goofy tone and ik some ppl will clown on that, but it would NOT have worked if they played it dead straight. it would've been boring and cringe, and the d&d world is enough of a tolkien knockoff without the movie being budget LOTR. cute characters who were pretty tropey but didn't feel like cardboard. sophia lillis with tiefling horns. barbarian lady who can step on me (please). plot events felt like actual shit a d&d party would get up to, tho i won't get into detail. plus a sweet ending that DIDN'T fall into A Certain Beloathed Trope :DDD

i would recommend watching it!!! nothing revolutionary, but if u don't know a lot abt d&d and u want a little taste of the kind of shit the party would be getting up to in their campaigns (all cleradin is SO beloved to me but ik not everyone knows d&d stuff so some ppl take a more traditional fantasy route with it) then give it a watch!!! and i can certify to it being a fun time if ur already a d&d enjoyer :]]]

and as for OCs... it changes tbh bc since i go in and out of periods where i draw my ocs a bunch in a frenzy and then go months(or longer) w/o drawing them ㅠㅠ but I think seol has always been fun to draw!!! her design is v round and p simple so its relatively easy to draw??? its also fun to draw various expressions on her ^^

I think about it a lot and how silly and cute it'd be to have a big family with him hehe. It wasn't until I had my baby that I realized it's something I personally wanted!

Like before my baby I was always under the impression I'd have one at the most, two if I went insane but now I can't imagine anything but having a whole school bus with him 🥰

It's really silly because my daughter supports my love for him probably in a very "I'm mirroring mommy singing all my songs with me!" Way. Every time she sees the Ososan art style she yells, "it's Totty!!!!" And she used to call him daddy for a while because she couldn't pronounce the Ds vs Ts.

It just makes me happy bc in my head, if he were real and really in my life I think they'd have a good relationship together 🥺💕💕💕

Idk it's silly like I made some oc kids forever ago, before getting pregnant and I still really love them to this day even tho I haven't gotten as invested in them as I have with other oc kids in the past. It's just fun, and a hold over from when I was 14. It makes me happy even though they're not real, like I still love them like they are if that makes sense? It's comforting.

Anyways I think he'd be a good person to have a family with imo. I believe in my heart of hearts he needs his back and spinal cord snapped in half and rearranged and to undergo ego death in order to get to the point where he's actually breedable but I would do it out of love. 🥰🥰🥰 he's like a glowstick to me

I think he would fr prefer having a large family mostly because I think hes been shown to really like little kids and babies and also in my head he's really lonely. I think he'd go crazy after living in a hectic household his entire life to just being somewhere quiet. He's like when people grow up sleeping with the TV or fan on - he needs chaos like it's his preferred white noise. I just don't think he would be super happy without it.
