I'm back once again to ask about the fic that changed my life :D SOOO what iffff MC from the rose garden did know suguru was behind everything, what if suguru kind of acted like her guard dog but in command? She told him who to go for and who to kill, do you think he would've still loved her?

It warms my twisted little heart right through to know you enjoyed the rose garden so much.

I never write more than one long fic in a certain world I conjure up but this really touched my soul in a way of a well scratched itch, I just have to keep writing it! It makes my brain so fuzzy when I think about it and I'm so happy to answer any asks you have because I never want to give this world up never ever 🥹

I think in any alternative universe, MC doesn't have the capacity to tame Suguru this way, she's far too kind to not do anything about it if she found out. THAT BEING SAID WE CAN WRITE IT HOWEVER WE WANT, AM I RIGHT??

So, if there was ever a time that MC did find out first hand that Suguru was a serial murderer and chose to stay with him, she would also either evade Satoru's questions or potentially mislead him altogether. AND I think out of all the people that have ever hurt her, she would chose Suguru's father, and I'll tell you why.

In the rose garden, we see just a little glimmer of what Suguru's father was like and we do see a little bit more of that in the next part of the series. He was awful to her, and we don't see much remorse from her perspective when they sit down and allow Suguru's mother to grieve for her husband's death.

MC was only supporting a 'grieving son' at the time, but she says that she was sort of relieved when he died.

SO if MC was to use Suguru in a way that directs his misdeeds, I really do fell like she'd want him gone, but in the same breath, I don't think she would be able to ask that of Suguru. Though we know what happened with Suguru and his dad anyway 🙃

I'm not totally sure who else she could 'command' him to kill unless we look at the line of events that happened in the fic. A few suspects could definitely be Toji and Ijichi, so I don't think anything would change very much to how it happened, especially looking at what happened at the publishing house. It was going to happen regardless (mwahahaha)

Then, there's Satoru. He's tricky because I feel like we wouldn't get a Suguru and Satoru showdown even though it would be as awesome as anything. And then there's the implications of how involved Satoru was, I don't think they'd get away with it.

As far as loving MC goes, in every alternative universe, Suguru would love her just as much as he does in the rose garden. I can't say too much because the next fic is ongoing, but I don't doubt for a second that if MC said horrible things right to his face and stomped all over his heart, he'd come right back like a puppy with his tongue hanging out.

Because she is his life, and his life is her.

(I do think they'd be one awesome murder couple though 😎)

I’m not sure if this counts as a healthy coping mechanism, but every time I have a shitty interaction with a doctor or my insurance provider I open up the crackfic Deathstroke flower shop AU I started messing around with after I had a dream inspired by reading too many Nightwing comics/playing too much Garden Life simulator before bed, and I get Deathstroke to shoot the fucker.

Not fatally. Just somewhere really painful that would make you reframe how you treat chronic pain patients as “drug seeking” and hand them leaflets about mindfulness instead of offering actual help :)

Anyway. I’m having a normal one today. How are all of you?
