Finding their Mate
A/N: This feels like I wrote an entire series, but it was simple headcanons, which I've found to be oddly fun to do from time to time
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Freya
After everything that happened with her aunt Dahlia and her giving up everything for her family to live their best lives (without her). Can you imagine how surprised she is to find out that you two are mates; the girl is baffled beyond baffled. She doesn't pursue you when she learns the truth. If you two are friends and she has feelings for you, she'll begin to pull away a bit which leads to you confronting her and asking why she's acting the way she is because it feels like things are weird and you don't want to deal with weird. You have a hard time making friends or finding people who can tolerate you. One awkward conversation later, you two share a kiss and are on a date. I mean, if you consider you watching her practice a spell while she tries not to blush too much as a date, there you have it
Finn
Before his mother forced this life of eternal damnation onto him even if it was due to losing his youngest brother. There is one thing he never anticipated finding... you, his mate. If anyone had told him mates were real and he would meet his soon, he'd probably think you were insane. And that's saying a lot since his life has been revolving around the supernatural since he was a child. Meeting you certainly helped him through this new life, but it didn't do much when he finds himself daggered at the hands of his brother. Knowing you were out there on your own dealing with him family drove him crazy, but he didn't know you asked to be turned to live with him (imagine his surprise when he awoke nine hundred years later and found you). After talking with you, he can't imagine living without you and thanks his lucky stars for you
Elijah
When his memories came back of how he harmed Tatia, he was less enthusiastic about pursuing another female. But Davina made a friend in you (because you helped her bring Kol back) and that was the end of it. It didn't trigger that you two had met years ago until he saw the three of you enjoying breakfast together. His memories came flooding back to him and he realized that you weren't in your original body yet, hence where his younger brother got the idea to do so, trying to find the doppelgänger. You two slowly began bonding and then came the hardest time in your relationship, he lost his memories, his mind would never let him forget your face. He never knew until he and Klaus were at their end, but his brother admitted your death to him and explained that's why he has an ache in his heart. A werewolf had gotten you while you were protecting Hope. He never got to admit how sorry he was for hurting you, not until he saw you standing there, waiting for him with Hayley by your side
Klaus
He didn't believe it for a second, thought it was a hoax; thought it was something the witches cooked up to blackmail him. But the more he saw you, the more his heart raced and the more his need for you grew stronger. Not to mention the fact that his wolf didn't help, the voice calling and wanting him to take you for his own so they can claim you as theirs. He knew he was dangerous and that's why he did all he could to stay away from you in the beginning when he ever so slowly begins to accept that your fates are tied to one another. There was no way he'd let you be put in danger due to his issues or because you're associated with his family. After you manage to protect Hope and yourself while defending him and his name, he thinks maybe his family wasn't lying when they said you two were fated mates, destined to be together (perfect for one another eve). He was more than hesitant to try and form a relationship with you. You had to be the one to take the step and make things right and stop the aches n both your hearts
Kol
He initially planned on using you as leverage since he knows his brother cares about you (whether it was platonic or not). But then, there was this little spark you had and not just because you managed to shock him with your powers, to escape from him and his mother. After that he knew he had to know you, someone who is genuine friends with his half-brother and can take care of themself in they ever needed to. That one hell of a keeper and there was no way he could let you go. So, yeah, he's going to try and become your friend (only after you reject him when he asks you to go out on a date). Then when Davina tried to help him return to his body, she came to you and knew you'd be able to help more than anyone because working alone isn't enough. No one, supernatural or not, cannot deny the bond between mates. You two confessed to one another once he came back from the supernatural purgatory, in his original body, and that was that
Rebekah
After watching her brother kill almost all her lovers and ruining any chance she had at a love life, she found it hard to believe that she was offered a chance at having someone fated to be hers. Someone her brother couldn't kill without causing her severe harm. She loves too hard and fast, she knows that, but she can't help it. Now that mates are thrown into the mix, she is a little hesitant at starting something with you, but she also knows how you are (being allies with her family helped her learn more about you). Then when her siblings find their mates and watches how happy they are, she can't help but basically run into your arms and confess that she feels the bond too and wants to start a relationship with you (and if you hate Elena, that's such a bonus for her)
Hope
When she lost her parents and her Uncle Elijah, she never imagined anything good would come into her life. Always believing herself to be cursed and imagining loads of misery would continue to come her way even as she genuinely tries to let good things into her life. Then you came into play, and she was floored. First off, you're the most good-looking person she's ever seen, Landon does not compare whatsoever. But it also is more of a reason for her hesitation when it comes to interacting with you or her just trying to get to know you. You knew right away who she was to you, another reason why you wanted to talk to her, figure out how you would fit into her life. You started to pursue her, not ready to give up even as she continuously turns you down, waiting until she'll accept you. After some time, she decided to try and have her own epic love like her parents and uncle Elijah did. She doesn't regret it
Hayley
After learning the truth about her family, she didn't expect to hear that mates were a thing. Then as soon as she stepped foot in New Orleans, imagine her surprise when she met not one but two wolves who continuously looked out for her. She manages to bond with one of the two wolves right away, slightly alarmed at how easy it was to spot you in your wolf while she is out in town. Then came a full moon where she met Jackson, who may or may not, have known who the wolf was and told her, about you and your back story or the bond you two share. Unfortunately for her, you were cursed differently. Only when you find your mate on a full moon and they accept you, will you be able to turn into your human form again. She searched three moons before finding you and she thanked her bloodline for giving her someone so, well, you. You're more than she could have ever known
Davina
With everything she went through before and after learning about everything witch wise, finding a lover much less a mate was the furthest thing on her mind. After she came back from the other side and was dealing with the ancestors' punishment, you entering her life was more a blessing. Which is something she and Marcel can easily agree on. Then you put in the effort to learn about her, just as she starts to find herself, accepting everything she's done and what the other witches keep doing to her; you stay by her side is what's kept her together. She would never admit it out loud to you but ever since you had entered her life, it was more of a blessing than anyone even realized. She continues to thank her lucky stars every day once the two of you are together. You are more than she could have ever imagined, and she'll do whatever she can to protect you because there's a lot that goes on in town
Marcel
After Klaus pulled his siblings out of town after the fire and the Mikaelson's thinking he was dead, losing Rebekah... he never thought he'd get the happy ending he wanted. But then, he was out at his favorite bar, trying to charm the pants off Camille (yet again) and you waltzed in, changing his life for the better. He never knew why his heart was so full and pounding so hard until Elijah told him. Finding out that mates were a thing? He was... safe to say pleased because like the man who treated him like a son always said, a king must have a queen (or king, in some cases). And you, my dear, are his royal highness lover from now until death and that could take a while. He will always do whatever he can to give you whatever you want to keep you happy and satisfied. He wants you to feel like you can rely on him for anything and everything, which kind of makes him look like a sugar daddy with all the new things he buys you

🎀Love At First Sight🎀
Warning! Contains: Drinking, Alcohol, Swearing, and Original Character
Overnight fame was one hell of a thing. One year ago, Ony was selling his beats to low budget rappers, charging forty an hour for a session, and working a second job just so he could make rent for his studio. Hustling between construction and music to make his dream happen, and he just had to make it happen. He’d been in love with music since his mom got him a toy microphone as a toddler, walking around in diapers rhyming in the kitchen for her any chance he got.
It wasn’t until last year, that his song he released blew up quite literally over a single night, and he gained over 700 thousand monthly listeners. From there things only got better with the addition of money, chains, diamonds, private planes, bigger houses, and more music. Now he’s got millions of people who follow him and stream his songs all over the world, tons of people hounding him to collab, and girls trying to get at him wherever he goes.
He brought his friends up with him. Both Connie, an up and coming music agent, and Eren, a fellow rapper became famous with him. Eren’s music is being streamed all over for his ability to rap in English and Japanese with swag, and Connie now has a rolodex of clients with Ony and Eren at the top of that list.
Now suddenly, he’s sitting in his own after party after winning his first music award, the cold trophy sitting heavy in his hand as he watches everyone party around him. He felt like he was staring off into space again, the shock from winning still lingering on his mind, but he couldn’t help but feel grateful.
Nothing else could pique his attention when he was like this, especially since Ony usually sits by himself at these types of parties. His low taper fade with waves was fresh for the night, and his suit felt too tight before he got rid of the tie and unbuttoned it a bit at the top. He doesn’t even show off the gold grillz that sits on his teeth; instead, he keeps his mouth shut and limits his reactions to nods and shrugs.
Things like this bored him, industry parties where he had to play nice, acting like he even liked half the people in the room. However, if he wanted to sell his beats and keep making music, he had to act at least a little interested. This is what Connie, who’s now his manager, reminded him of as he spoke to him, telling Ony to, “Fix your fucking face, you’re scaring everyone away.” Then, he went to mingle with some artist's agent to get them on a song. Connie always knew Ony would blow up, always booking him in small night clubs and now arranging him for the big league gigs.
Ony only smacked his lips in response, wondering just who Connie was talking to before turning to look at Eren as he flirted with some girl at the party. That nigga was dead wrong, especially since Ony saw another chick leaving his apartment this morning. That didn’t stop him from trying to take this next girl to his place for the night, Eren always had to play up into his Playboy persona.
Ony shook his head as he turned to check out the bar, he might as well get drunk, everybody else at this party is. He stood up, adjusting his clothes as he made his way over, some people turning and interrupting his path to congratulate him, and girls asking when he’s free to produce one on one with them. Ony mostly ignored everyone though, tuning them out by trying to think of new song lyrics, his trophy still in hand as he looked for a place he could safely put it.
The blue strobe lights were distracting, making his head pound slightly as he made it to the bar. He leaned over, asking for a double shot of Don Julio 1942 as both Connie and Eren made their way to him. Eren pat him on the shoulder, smiling as he saw Ony finally get a drink, he’d been in his head this entire time, not saying much since he won. “Finally gonna party man? All of this is for you anyways.”
“Yeah man,” Connie chimed in, leaning back against the countertop, “Gotta stop moping around, you won. This is only the beginning.” They were right, but for some reason it just didn’t feel real yet, like he didn’t actually win anything. He felt a bit hollow inside, trying to fill it with alcohol at the moment. Ignoring the pounding in his head, he took the glass the bartender set in front of him and downed it quickly.
As he picked up his head to finally acknowledge his friends, someone caught his eye from the corner of the room, turning instead to look and see. Across the way sat a girl, all alone on one of the couches, looking around and tapping her nails against her thighs nervously. Ony perked up suddenly, lifting his head higher to see her better, staring over Connie’s head as he and Eren turned to see just what Ony was looking at.
They both looked confused when Ony was caught staring dead at a girl. That was really unlike him, he usually made a considerable amount of effort to dodge girls who were interested in him, not wanting someone who likes him because of the sudden status he found himself in, but clearly something about her was a bit different.
“Aye Con, who’s shawty over there?” Ony finally asked, dropping his attention back down to his friend.
“Oh, her? Her name’s Princess, she's one of Sasha’s artists.” He shrugged casually, he and Eren were trying but failing to contain their smirks as Ony silently mulled over everything. Princess, cute lil name, felt light on his tongue as he said it.
“Why? You feeling her or something?” Eren leaned in close to Ony, jabbing him in the ribs suggestively.
“Can’t be interested in a girl now?” Ony said, never taking his eyes off the way she slung her hair over her shoulder as she looked up and spoke to someone passing by, even from far away he could tell she was a shy lil’ thing. He smiled a little as he leaned back over the bar to ask for a entire bottle of Dom Perignon.
“What you need a bottle for?” Eren chuckled lightly, Connie masking his laughter with a cough as Ony gave them both death glares.
“I’m just gonna talk to her right quick.” He put simply, holding the ice cold bottle in one hand, and his award in the other, leaving his friends to make his way over to Princess.
She was busy in her own world, looking at herself in a small compact mirror, touching up her lip gloss. Princess looked stunning, wearing a white floor-length satin gown that she must’ve had on during the award ceremony. Beaded and shining under the lights, the white looked heavenly on her, and as he got closer he saw her nails matched the same white as well.
But as he trailed down… as he trailed down all he could think about was how gorgeous she looked. Dressed or not. Her breasts accentuated and pushed up in the gown, though on the smaller side looked so tempting. Her waist cinched in before rounding out around her stomach and hips. Her hands trying to cover up her midsection as the satin stretched around her thicker than average ass that he could see while she was sitting. Damn, anyone from across the room could see her ass.
Ony swiftly slid into the seat next to her, watching as she looked up at him, turning to see him sit. Their eyes locked momentarily, before she quickly turned away back to her mirror. He licked over his lips with a smile, leaning over to drop the bottle on the edge of the table with a thud. It caused her eyes to flicker over again, but stay longer this time, fully turning her attention to him.
He watched as Princess looked him over, taking in his suit, then trailing up his chest to where his heavy chain sat. Her eyes raised to his face last, raking over his goatee and confident smirk, to Ony’s dark brown eyes and the small scar in his left brow.
“Hey,” He nodded towards her, snapping her out of her gaze. She blushed and tried looking at the sea of people for a moment as he continued. “Want to have a drink with me?”
She scrunched her nose at his request, and he had to hold back the laugh that filled his belly. He couldn’t help it, she just looked so unexpectedly cute, and it made him wonder what other reactions he could pull from her. “A drink?” She asked, looking at the bottle of expensive champagne.
Their eyes met for a second time, Princess blinking wide eyed and shy while telling him, “I don’t drink.”
“You don’t?” Shocked at how sincerely she said it, like she couldn’t help but tell the truth. That threw him off a bit, he had to drop his well rehearsed flirting since his first tactic wasn’t an option anymore.
“No, I’m sorry.” She mumbled out, closing her compact and sliding it back into her clutch. “Congrats on your win though.” She was obviously about to get up and leave, meaning Ony had to act fast to get her to stay.
“You a fan of my music?” He slid a bit closer, nothing drastic, but enough that would catch her attention, genuinely wondering if she even knew that this party was for him, or if it was just another industry thing to come and be social at random penthouses.
“I’ve heard one song, New Money, but that’s it. Sasha and Mikasa invited me.” Ony didn’t know Sasha, but he knew Mikasa well enough, he stored that bit of information away for later.
“That’s cool, I don’t think I’ve heard your music either, did you do anything I know?” He shifted closer again, ducking his head down to hear her clearly when she spoke, making her face heat up.
“Uhm, I used to sing gospel only, and I just made the switch to R&B. I’m just breaking in the door, you know?” She said, twirling her hands nervously.
“That still ain’t a song name Ma, I like gospel.” The pet name rolled off his tongue so casually she almost didn’t hear it.
“Oh,” That was surprising. From the music she heard it didn’t seem like Ony was the gospel type. “It’s my time, Up and Rise, He is Righteous.” She listed off a few, one particularly catching his attention.
“Hey, I know Up and Rise. I didn’t know you sung that though.” He took the bottle from the table, dropping his award down on the sofa next to her as he began unscrewing the cap. Nodding his head as he remembered how it went.
“Yeah, that was me.” Princess felt a small burst of pride at the fact that her song was liked by someone in music outside of the genre, not many people knew her music other than the gospel community.
“I love that song, the melody is fye.” He mumbled as he gripped the cork with the side of his teeth, pulling for a quick second before watching it pop and the champagne fizzle out the bottle onto his hand for an unexpected drizzle. He didn’t comment on the way it dripped onto the floor, just turned to her again and asked, “Where you from?” Effortlessly bringing her back in, sounding softer than he would normally, she could hear the way he was actively trying to be nice.
“Oh, Marietta, Cobb county.” She said, watching him take a swig of his drink straight from the neck of the bottle. Though his actions and voice were a little rough, it was undeniable how hot he looked. She noted that he looked especially hot as he drank.
“So you’re the Princess of Cobb county, huh?” She finally saw a flash of something shiny in his mouth when he smiled at her, full and playful. Both rows of his teeth covered in diamonds from his grill, shining as the light hit it, making him look beautiful.
“I wouldn’t say all that.” Princess shyly mumbled, turning away to try and see where Sasha and Mikasa were. She hoped they weren’t coming back so soon, she wanted a bit more time to talk.
“Shit, I would.” The tension was becoming thicker and thicker, making Princess shift uncomfortably on the sofa, looking forward for a moment to cool herself down.
“Where are you from?” She politely asked back, looking at him again to convey her interest.
“Adamsville.” His tone sour as he said it, taking a swig from the champagne to mask what he was feeling. Usually, when people hear where he was born and raised, they start to treat him differently. Like he was some scrapyard dog, feral and rabid, a thug.
“Really? I have some cousins who live out there.” She smiled, unforced and natural. “I used to have fun in the housing units with them.” The way Ony’s head popped up in curiosity didn’t go ignored by her, and she watched as he perked up in a happier mood.
“Yeah? You ever lived there before?”
“No, the most my grandparents would let me do was spend a night. By the time we were twelve they moved out, but I had fun memories there.” Princess reminisced, as she spotted Mikasa drunkenly trailing behind Sasha who was storming her way up to her. “It was nice meeting you, but my friends want to leave.”
“Wait, how can I get in touch with you?” He stood up with her as she smoothed down her dress, inwardly swearing when he saw how she looked standing. She was fucking beautiful.
“I don’t know if that’s a good idea,” Princess rushed out, starting to walk away before stopping to say, “Maybe we can talk about it if we see each other again.” A hopeful tone, and shimmer in her eyes.
“Come on girl, I love your voice. I want you on a song with me.” Just as she opened her mouth to answer, Princess was forced to look away when someone who Ony assumed to be Sasha grabbed her arm, pulling her forward.
“Princess, we got to go. It’s so late and your photoshoot is at 10 am.” Before Ony could get another word in, she was dragged off, her head whipping to glance back at him as she left. He sighed heavily, feeling like he lost his chance for a moment. Eren and Connie approaching him as he stood, bottle in hand, trying to think of a solution.
“Damn, you get her number or what?” Eren asked, checking out Princess as she walked away until he saw the glare Ony was giving him.
“Nah, but that’s alright. I got an idea.”

do you mind doing a Kaz fic where she has had a crush a month before but is convinced it’s a lost cause bc he talks to inej a lot, but (PLOT TWIST) the reason he talks to inej is because he’s unsure if y/n likes him back? Angst with a happy ending?
-🍁
Lock and Key : Kaz Brekker x Reader
Descr: 4.5k wc, Reader and Kaz have unspoken feelings for each other. But Kaz’s attempts to work through what to do only cause misunderstandings and upsets. Until it all comes out and feelings are finally revealed. Hurt-comfort, angst-fluff.
Warnings: misunderstandings, SoC content. One curse word.
Notes: I’m SOOO sorry this took so long. It got lost in my requests!
Y/n sat on the edge of the roof kicking swinging legs back and forth. She bit into her bottom lip as she tried to keep herself calm; too many thoughts racing through her mind tonight. Needless, futile, stupid, jealous thoughts. She quickly released her lip from her teeth as she felt eyes on her. She scanned the skyline before relenting to who she’d assumed it was from the start and turned to look over her shoulder, “yes?”
Y/n watched as Inej made herself seen and slowly approached. That friendly smile of hers felt taunting in this moment. But y/n pasted one on herself before turning back to face the Ketterdam rooftops.
“Why are you out here this late?” Inej questioned softly as she carefully sat down beside y/n.
Y/n shrugged silently, not looking away from the skyline. She wasn’t going to let her off the hook that easily. When Inej wanted something, she got that thing. If only she hadn’t happened to want Kaz the way y/n did. But y/n refused to tell Inej that that was what had brought her out here tonight.
“Y/n, come on, everyone can tell you’re upset,” Inej remarked as the gray clouds above them began to drip rain onto the girls.
“I’m fine,” y/n retorted simply, briefly glancing at Inej’s side-profile.
Inej stared at y/n skeptically. “No one chooses to sit on a rooftop this late, in this weather, if they’re fine,” she argued.
“It wasn’t raining until you got here,” y/n pointed out with a shrug. Fitting. Her love life didn’t feel like it was going through a downpour until Inej entered the picture either. How ironic.
“I’m not just talking about tonight, y/n/n,” Inej sighed. “You’ve been distant and… sad.”
Inej had a point. Of course she did. Y/n had spent the last several weeks trying to distance herself from the crows. Well… from Kaz. And Inej. And mostly Kaz and Inej together. Which was occurring more often than not lately. The images from the last month played back in her mind yet again as if to remind her of her misery.
Y/n twirled the shiny coin around in between her pointer and middle finger as she practically bounced her way up the stairs to Kaz’s room, a smile on her face. She’d managed to trick some rich merchant into giving it to and she thought Kaz would love it. Maybe he’d even be proud of her for such an achievement. Although, truthfully she’d simply done it because she wanted him to have it thanks to the hopeless crush she’d developed a few weeks ago. Kaz didn’t date. Kaz didn’t look at anyone that way. Y/n included. But, maybe…
Y/n hummed to herself, knocking briefly on Kaz’s wooden door before letting herself in. She paused promptly upon realizing he wasn’t alone. Inej was here. Y/n swallowed thickly as she shifted her stance a bit. “I… umm.., sorry-,” she mumbled.
Inej stepped away from Kaz with a soft shake of her head as she smiled at y/n. “Hey y/n,” she greeted sweetly. “He’s all yours, I was just leaving,” she told the girl.
Y/n’s eyes nearly popped out of her head as her heart sank over Kaz’s immediate response to Inej’s words. His hand. He was… Kaz had reached out and gripped Inej’s wrist to stop her from leaving. He didn’t do that sorta thing. That wasn’t him. Yet, here he was. Doing that. Touching her. Inej. Y/n couldn’t help but stare at the hold Kaz had on Inej’s wrist. His gloves were on… but still.. he didn’t touch people. He didn’t react like that. So instinctual that he’d physically stop someone instead of using his words commands. He really didn’t want her to leave. She tore her eyes away from their hands only to find an equally, if not more, painful sight.
Kaz and Inej stood silently, staring at each other, no words exchanged but both wore meaningful expressions.
Y/n felt a lump in her throat as she tried to swallow. This wasn’t happening. She knew the chances of her crush being anything but a crush were slim. Especially given it was on Kaz. But… The one time she held romantic feelings for someone this happened? What’re the odds her crush would get over his trouble being open with people only to fall for someone else? Her hand holding the coin trembled lightly at her side as she analyzed Kaz’s face. He was stern and serious, but instead of his ever-present stoic expression, his eyes seemed to be…. They were almost… pleading. Ouch. She couldn’t make out Inej’s expression fully from this angle. But from what she could see, Inej held a tender gaze and a small but warm smile. Y/n squeezed her eyes shut tightly as if that would somehow make the sight before her disappear. “Umm..,” she cleared her throat, feeling as though she was interrupting… something. Something she wished she wasn’t happening. But it was. “I, sorry,” she repeated as she slowly opened her eyes. They finally stopped touching and were both now facing her. “I didn’t mean to…,” y/n shook her head, unable to say the words. “Anyways, I umm…,” she mumbled.
“Y/n,” Kaz spoke, his stoic expression back in place. “Out with it,” he instructed.
Hearing his gruff voice say her name in a moment like this hurt. But not as much as him ordering her to get on with it did. He didn’t want her here. She’d interrupted his time… his moment… with Inej. Inej was who he wanted to be speaking with, who he wanted to have present in the room now. Not y/n. “Right,” y/n creaked. “I just, I thought you might want this,” she explained, walking over to his desk. The coin clanged against the table top as she placed it down.
“Where..? Where did you g-,” Kaz began to ask as y/n stepped back from the desk.
“I made a deal with a merchant,” y/n shrugged, pretending it was nothing. In truth, it wasn’t nothing. It had taken her a week and a half to arrange and wasn’t the safest plan. But now… now it truly didn’t matter. In the end, maybe it was nothing.
Kaz scrutinized the rare coin from a distance, not having moved from the spot he was in when y/n first entered. As he looked up from his desk, he found she’d made her way to the door. He felt Inej watching him knowingly, but he didn’t know what to say. Why had y/n gotten this coin? And why had she given it to him? Had she done something she was trying to cover up? Or perhaps trying to get ahead of some mistake she might make later? Or…? No.
“It’s really shiny,” Inej commented with an encouraging smile.
“You don’t owe me anything,” Kaz spoke, picking up on Inej’s not-so-subtle hint to talk to y/n.
Y/n nodded, “I know”. She swallowed and turned her gaze away from the soft way Inej was looking at Kaz. “Goodnight”. It was a weird exit, but what else was she supposed to say after that?
—-
Y/n halted in the doorway, unconsciously stumbling backwards a bit. This was getting to be too much. First it was walking in on their moment. Then it was watching Inej go to his office every single night for the past week. But now this? She hadn’t realized she’d moved backwards, away from the scene before her until she felt her back bump into someone. She silently turned around. Nina. She offered her friend and fellow crow an apologetic expression, not having known she was behind her. She watched as Nina noticed the scene that was now behind y/n, her eyes widening with surprise before quickly narrowing in confusion. She couldn’t hear this. Nina loved gossip. She loved Nina. But she couldn’t bear to talk about the potential romance between Kaz and Inej. Before Nina could react further or comment, y/n side stepped her in the narrow hallway and quickly left the safe house. She made her way to the backside of the building and rested her back against the brick wall as her butt slid to the ground. Breathe. It’s fine. She has no claim to him anyways. It was an unrequited crush. Is. Not was. As much as she’d hoped the tortuous observations of the last week would break her crush, they didn’t. They just broke her instead.
—
“Y/n? You have to talk to someone about whatever is-” Inej’s voice pleaded, bringing y/n back to the present moment. A moment where y/n had ventured out of The Crow Club in hopes the cold air would relieve some of the ache in her chest from having witnessed her crush and his crush on what seemed like a date. Except now, to add to her never ending embarrassment and heartbreak, her crush’s crush was now questioning her as to what was troubling her. Saints she really has the worst luck. It hurt even more because she and Inej used to be close. She didn’t want to lose her friend. But every time she saw Inej now, it physically hurt. Hence why she was trying to distance herself from Kaz and her both. Until her heart had time to heal and move on.
Y/n shook her head.
Inej set a soft hand on y/n’s rain-soaked shoulder. “You know you can tell me anything,” she reminded the girl.
“No I can’t!” Y/n cried. Her eyes widened in shock over her outburst and she quickly slapped her hand over her mouth, ignoring the fact that due to it being rainy tiny grains from the roof’s shingles had transferred to her hand and were now poking her face.
“What?” Inej frowned. “Why not?” When she didn’t get a response, she sighed. “Please? If I did something wrong I’d like to fix it”.
Y/n felt a few guilty tears escape her eyes. She wiped the grains off her face before she lowered her hand back to the shingles under them. “You didn’t, Inej… I’m sorry,” she whimpered quietly, “you didn’t do anything wrong!”
“Then why can’t you talk to me?” Inej asked.
Y/n sighed. “I’m just… working through something,” she explained vaguely.
Inej nodded, “I’d like to help”.
“Inej… Thank you, truly,” y/n replied. “But, it’s not fair for me to talk to you about this”. Inej hadn’t done this intentionally. It wasn’t fair for y/n to be upset with her. Or to be upset about it at all. But she was.
“So it does involve me,” Inej interpreted. “Y/n, please just tell me, I know your heart, I know you won’t mean any malice with whatever it is…”
Y/n sighed. Maybe this is what it would take. Maybe this would help her accept the way things were. Maybe it would help her finally be able to move on. To have Inej back as a friend. To not have an ache in her chest every time she looked at Kaz. Maybe even to be happy for them finding love together. Oww. That one still stung. Maybe that one would take longer. It wasn’t fair to make Inej feel guilty for this. But perhaps by telling her, maybe Inej would adjust her behaviors so that it wasn’t so in her face. Not that Inej owed her that. And y/n could never dare ask for that. But Inej was caring. Maybe she’d offer to keep her and Kaz’s affairs more secret. At least until y/n moved on.
“I can’t believe I’m saying this… and please don’t tell anyone, especially him…,” y/n pleaded. She felt bad for asking Inej to keep a secret from her… boyfriend? Is that was she and Kaz were now? She shook the question off. “But, I… kinda sorta… may have developed a little bit of a crush on…” she mumbled slowly. “Kaz, and I know how insane that it is. I knew the even before I knew about you two. But now I feel even worse about it,” she rushed out as quickly as possible. “And I’m so sorry Inej! I-”.
“Wait..,” Inej interrupted, resting her palm on y/n’s shoulder. “Why are you apologizing to me for liking Kaz?” She asked.
“Because it’s not fair to you! And I would never act on it now that I know, I swear!” Y/n vowed.
“Now that you know what?” Inej questioned, choosing just one of the many questions she now had.
“Inej,” y/n sighed as she looked her way. “I know about you and Kaz,” she informed her. “And I’m happy for you, really! It’s just that right now-”.
Inej couldn’t help but giggle. “Sorry,” she apologized. “But I couldn’t help it. Y/n, there’s nothing between me and Kaz,” she promised.
Y/n gave Inej a look of frustration. “Inej,” she scolded.
“I swear on every single Saint out there, I have no feelings for Kaz and he has none for me,” Inej spoke softly.
Y/n looked away for a moment, contemplating the last month. “I’ve seen it,” she argued. Maybe they were both too clueless to see it themselves? Was she really now going to have to point out to Inej how Kaz saw her? How he’d unknowingly chosen her over y/n? The universe was cruel.
“What are you-,” Inej began.
“You’re always in his office. He doesn’t let many people do that Inej. Then there’s the way he’s always looking over at you randomly. The way he tended to your wounds after the fight with Marcello. It first dawned on me when I saw the way he reached for your hand to stop you from leaving when I came to give him that damn coin,” y/n rambled, facing the skyline so as to not let Inej see her tears.
Inej closed her eyes as she was hit with guilt. She hadn’t considered how those things looked. Her eyes opened upon hearing y/n try to stifle a sniffle. She promptly stood up and held her hand out for y/n who gazed up at her in confusion. “Trust me, please,” Inej requested.
Kaz’s eyes snapped to the window as y/n and Inej made their way back inside. His eyes scanned y/n’s appearance but stopped upon seeing her red eyes. He turned his gaze to Inej in question as the Wraith looked his way.
Inej sensed the way y/n tensed up beside her. No, No, No. It wasn’t like that. No wonder y/n thought Kaz liked her. He was looking at her a lot lately. But it wasn’t for the reasons y/n thought! She turned to her friend and gripped her hand tightly. She wordlessly made her way to Kaz, dragging the girl with her. She gave Kaz a knowing stare, “now”.
Inej noticed the way Kaz seemed reluctant. Still. After everything she’d tried to do to convince him the past month. She narrowed her eyes and gave him a look. “Kaz, I’m dead serious. You have to tell her,” she commanded in a whispered but sharp tone.
Y/n heard Inej’s whisper and tugged on the hand that was keeping her from fleeing. “Inej?” She asked, uncertain where this was going.
Inej faced y/n with a supportive smile and shook her head. “I promise, it’ll all be made clear”. Her head snapped to the left as she narrowed her eyes at Kaz. “Won’t it Kaz?”
Kaz squinted in confusion. He looked over at y/n, trying to ignore the way her reddened eyes made his chest hurt. “What is it that is unclear?”
Y/n rapidly shook her head as she stared at Inej.
Inej sighed. Y/n didn’t want her to say anything. But it would be in y/n’s best interest if Inej ignored those wishes. “I…,” she began, but stopped. Kaz needed to do this. He needed to be the one to tell her. She worked with him for a month on this. The misunderstandings that were troubling y/n couldn’t be for nothing. “Just…. Tell her. Now,” she ordered, squeezing y/n’s shoulder before quickly leaving. She shut the door behind her and sighed as she silently prayed to her Saints for Kaz to finally tell y/n.
“Kaz?” Y/n asked nervously as she turned back to him after having watched Inej abandon her here.
“I’ve been keeping something from you,” Kaz confessed, his anxious eyes scanning her every move as he tried to read her mind. He watched as she nodded. Did she already know? No. If she did she wouldn’t be standing here. But maybe that’s why she had been crying. No. Inej wouldn’t demand he tell her if she already knew. So why was she nodding? And why had she been crying?
“Sometimes I hate you,” Kaz told her.
“You hate me?”
This wasn’t how Inej had instructed him to tell her when they rehearsed earlier tonight. But if he had to do this now and not on his own time, when he knew for certain how y/n felt, then this was how it was going to go. Not like it would matter anyways. It was likely unrequited.
“Sometimes. You’ve ruined things”.
“I… I… didn’t mean to”.
“That’s just it y/n,” he sighed, punching the bridge of his nose. “It’s not even fair for me to hate you from time to time over this because you didn’t mean to do any it. You didn’t mean to drive me insane. You didn’t mean to make me break the one vow I made to myself…”
“I don’t…”
“I told myself I’d never let someone in,” Kaz explained. “And then, you….” He groaned. “I don’t know how you did it. And I know you didn’t mean to. So, I know you don’t feel the same. But that doesn’t mean I don’t despise the fact you managed to do this”.
“Do what?”
“Make me feel this way!” Kaz rose his voice.
She squinted. “What are you talking about?” “You’re mad I managed to make you hate me?” she asked, seeking clarification.
“No! Dammit,” Kaz scoffed. “I’m mad you made me feel.”
“Feel what?”
“Everything.”
“Wh…?”
“You made me feel, y/n. In general. But also things I had buried years ago, with the intent to never feel again. You made me feel and I hate it.”
“Are you…? No… You’re not… You’re not actually suggesting you have feelings for me, are you?” Y/n asked in offense. Would he really stoop to this level?
Kaz looked away from her, opting to stare at his windowsill instead.
“If you’re trying to do this to keep your relationship with Inej a secret you don’t have to, I won’t-”.
Kaz choked on his breath. “My what?! …with who?!”
“Kaz”.
“No,” he cut her off as he shook his head and stepped closer. “Is that…” he began. Unlikely. He was probably projecting by thinking it might have something to do with why she’s been distant. Frustration took over as he found his mind to be a mess of crossed wires and chaos. He’d tried to express his feelings to best he can but was still not successful in getting her to understand. He knew she might not feel same way but still, this was annoying. “I’m not trying to con anyone,” he said, voice coming out a bit angry from his disbelief. He’d just confessed his feelings and she was questioning his sincerity and intentions? “If I was trying to hide my… feelings.. would I have just admired that vulnerability to you?” He asked rhetorically.
“But… you…”
“What?”
“The looks”.
“Excuse me?” Kaz sighed. “Full sentences would be great, y/n”.
“I’ve seen the way you are with her,” y/n defended.
“Care to elaborate?” He asked, brow raised.
“First, there was when I came in to give you the-,” she paused as her eyes caught sight of the item in question. He kept it. He hadn’t sold it. And not only did he keep it, he had it on a cushioned pad on his desk. He never kept trinkets on his desk. Focus. “That coin,” she said bringing the conversation back. “I walked in on… Well I don’t really know but, I saw the way you didn’t want her to leave. I clearly interpreted something and you didn’t want me to see it but I could tell you didn’t want her to leave”.
Kaz hummed in understanding. “You did interpret something that night.” He ran his hands over the coin in question for a moment in silence before putting it back down. “And you’re right. You don’t know what it was.” He sighed as he felt his cheeks flush. “I had asked Inej to help me with a project”. When she nodded slowly, he hesitantly continued. “That’s all”.
“It was really important,” y/n recalled, picturing the way he’d actually grabbed for Inej’s wrist.
“It was.” Kaz swallowed. “I tasked her with finding out how you’d feel if I told you…. If we had this conversation,” he corrected.
“What about when you were fixing her cuts from the fight against-”
“Marcello?” Kaz asked for her, knowing he’d only done such a thing once and still felt weird about it. “She’d refused to answer my questions until her wounds were stitched”.
“What questions?”
“Why you seemed to be becoming more distant. If she’d told you despite swearing not to.”
Y/n nodded slowly as she tried to absorb and analyze the information. He noticed? He was worried about that? So much so he attended to Inej’s cuts in order to get the answers to those questions?
“This is what Inej meant by things needing to become clear, isn’t it?” Kaz asked.
Y/n nodded.
Kaz hummed, “anything else?”
“You keep looking over at her randomly.”
Kaz chuckled dryly. So much for the silent check ins being subtle. “It’s not random”.
“Right.. no, I know.. that’s-”.
“I…. I can handle most things on my own, but making conversation, being… friendly.., isn’t my forte.” He sighed. “Inej was also tasked with correcting me if I said or did something that… well.. might have upset you or be taken wrong”.
Y/n blinked slowly at Kaz in surprise. “You-… what?”
“Anything else?” Kaz echoed as he cleared his throat.
“Tonight…”
Kaz groaned. “Ironically, Inej was trying to persuade me into having this exact conversation with you”.
“Why?”
“Why what?”
“Why did she want you to have this conversation with me?”
Kaz was silent for a moment. “She claimed she was tired of trying to collect signs that this conversation would go well and threatened that if I didn’t have this conversation soon she’d tell you herself.” He bashfully looked away from her again.
“You… you went and did all of this… because you didn’t know how I’d react?”
Kaz nodded stiffly.
“I … I’m still not sure I understand,” y/n confessed. “And I really don’t want to misinterpret this cause I’ll say something I’ll probably die of embarrassment for saying if I do”. “So…,” she shook her head in confusion. “I know feelings are… new… for you Kaz, but… You’ve both stated you hate me and that you were willing to go through all of this because you needed to know how I’d react to you telling me i made you feel things… but that’s… well, confusing!”
“Sometimes I hate you because I don’t hate you. Because I can’t. I hate that I feel… anything. Because it’s pointless. I hate that I can’t do anything about the way I feel. I hate that I feel I have to tell you this. I hate that nothing will come of this. I hate what this means for you”.
“What do you mean?”
“I’m wretched, y/n. And so is the Barrel,” Kaz said as he shook his head. “If anyone else knew this.. what I’ve been trying to tell you… you’d be in danger”.
“Are you saying that… no… I need you to say it. What is it you’re saying Kaz?”
“Even though unrequited, my feelings for you could be harmful if word got out. So while you might wish to gossip about managing to make the Bastard of the Barrel feel, I don’t advise doing so outside of the crows, or with Jesper either, he’s rather loose lipped and if it gets out to the wrong people you might be in the line of fire and-,” Kaz rambled nervously.
“Kaz stop… you… you like me?”
“Yes,” he answered gruffly. “How many times do I need to say that?”
“Once Kaz. I needed you to say it once,” she sighed. “You said you hated me.”
“Sometimes”.
“Right, sometimes hate me”.
Kaz echoed her sigh. “I don’t actually hate you. Ever. I can’t. I hate that I can’t, but it’s true.”
“So you just… like me? But.., hate that you do?” Y/n questioned. When he nodded silently, she frowned. “Am I really that bad?”
“What?!” Kaz hissed, his sharp gaze snapping over to her.
“Is liking me so horrible?”
“No,” He answered as he moved closer. “Unfortunately it’s not. That’s the problem.”
“Then why do you hate that you like me?”
“I told myself I wouldn’t feel this way. For anyone. Ever.”
“What’s so bad about feeling this way for someone?”
“I told you y/n,” Kaz complained with a sigh. “Nothing can come of it,” he reminded her.
“So… even though you like me. And I….” She took a deep breath, still in disbelief she was going to admit it to his face. “Like you,” she finished. “And all this miscommunication is cleared up, you’re saying that-,”.
“What?” Kaz croaked, eyes locked on her.
“What?”
“What did you just say?”
“The miscommunication is cleared up,” y/n repeated. That wasn’t what he was referring to.
“Before that y/n,” Kaz amended.
“That I like you. I said I like you Kaz”.
It was silent in the room for a painfully long time before he spoke again. When he did, all Kaz said was, “you do..?”
Y/n laughed. “Yes Kaz, that’s why I was upset over you and Inej being-”
“Nothing, we’re nothing,” Kaz interrupted.
“I know,” she smiled, “now”.
Kaz nodded. “You like me,” he whispered.
“I do,” she acknowledged. “And you like me”.
“I do”. He nodded. “But y/n-”.
“No”.
“No?”
“We didn’t just talk through all of this for you to just go back to pretending that we didn’t,” she declared.
“Y/n, if the Dime Lions, or Pekka, or-”.
“I don’t care”
“I do,” Kaz stated sharply.
“I know,” she replied as she moved closer to him. “And I appreciate that. But you know I can defend myself”.
“Yes, but the risks are too-”
“That’s what we do isn’t it?” She asked. Upon seeing the confusion in his eyes, she explained, “we take risks.”
“Not with your life, y/n”.
“I’ve already tried to ignore the way I feel, and it doesn’t work. That’s not living, Kaz”.
“You’d still be alive,” he argued.
“I would be either way, Kaz. It doesn’t have to be so dramatic and black and white”.
When Kaz merely sighed, she shook her head. “If you don’t want to be with me for any other reason, then-”.
“That’s not it,” he nearly growled.
“Then stop resisting. You’re refusing to let yourself live because of the chance something could go wrong. But, that’s life Kaz,” she spoke softly.
“You want this? Knowing the risks?”
“I do.” She nodded. “We can keep it secret if that would make you feel better. I don’t care.”
“It would, but what if it-”
“If it gets out, we deal with it, then. Together. Deal Brekker?”
The edges of Kaz’s lips uncontrollably curled up. “The deal is the deal,” he conceded, already plotting ways to keep this development on lockdown with top level privacy.

✶ Lionheart
Robb Stark x (Baratheon/Lannister!) Reader
TAGS: friends to enemies to lovers, slow burn, one bed, childhood friends, arranged marriage, female rage, eventual smut, hurt/comfort, canon compliant (boooo!), major character death
NOTE: so this is also an oc fic on wp, but i wanted to try out something new! in rewriting to second person, some edits have been made. there will be no y/n, and there are other ocs in this fic (since that’s what i usually write) and reader does have some physical descriptions.
i’m in suchhhhh a robb stark brainrot atm, this is how i’m coping 🫶
TIMELINE: season / book one onwards. a mix of show & book canon!
SUMMARY: A soft heart is no curse.
You are nothing like your parents. Your mother’s first-born, most deeply adored. Born in the ashes of a victorious rebellion, you are the brightest spring child in King’s Landing. Free as the breeze whistling through the trees, love burns in your veins like sun rays. (You’re too good for this world, your mother whispers as she holds her daughter close. No one will hurt you. You’re safe here with me.)
The Pearl of King’s Landing, they called you. Sun-bright and untouchable. To be beloved by the Smallfolk is a rare gift, and you bear it proudly. A little doe beside your father, a great stag, and your mother-lion.
A soft heart is no curse. You believe it until you spend a month travelling north with your family, a trip that spins your world on its axis, and won’t let you come home. When you are left alone in a vast castle with no true company, your pretty heart can only be a curse. No one trusts a naive girl raised in the lion’s den — not even when steel cuts across your palms, blood soaking your fingers as you try to protect a boy you hardly know. Your mother was the only one who allowed you to be yourself. (The North does not find courage in the kindness of princesses.)
Your soft heart is a curse until the day Robb Stark takes it in his hands and promises to keep it safe.
Against a thousand odds, in a moment of peace within a storm of chaos, he finally accepts you. And you feel like you belong for the first time since you left the safety of the Red Keep. (No one will hurt you here with me. I’ll protect you.)
A soft heart is a beauty on a battleground. A light in the dark, an anchor. Undying, and calling for your love to come home safe. Alive. But a soft heart is only pretty until it bleeds. Until it rains. Until it screams. Until you want to claw it from your chest and throw it to the lions who claim to love you.
(Your soft heart, devoured by the Young Wolf, rots beside him.)

Pancakes and Waffles [Yandere! Bounty Hunter x Fem! Reader]
Warnings/ tags: yandere themes, description of violence, mention of murder, weapons, depiction of violence against reader, sadistic behavior, age gap (reader is 20ish and Yan is 30ish?).

"This place might be a dump, but the breakfast is always surprisingly good, isn't it?"
You jumped slightly at a casual remark, turning to find a middle-aged man at the table next to yours. His smile, somewhat bright, was accompanied by a gaze of peculiar intensity, his brown eyes fixed upon you as he leaned on the palm of his hand. You managed only an awkward laugh, instinctively reaching to pull your hood up, partially obscuring your face in a subtle attempt to shield yourself.
"Oh, definitely! The bathroom here's always a mess, but let me tell you, the pancakes are absolutely worth it!"
You aim for brevity in your response, silently hoping that he would take his leave and proceed with his day. However, the persistent man appeared to have different intentions. He nodded thoughtfully in response to your words before interjecting, "Yeah, the pancakes are good, but personally, I think the waffles here are even better."
"Waffles are good too."
You found yourself inwardly cursing, yearning for the man to depart. Gripping the handle of your coffee mug, you raised it to your lips, striving to steady your trembling hands as you savored the warm, bittersweet liquid. The notion of abruptly leaving crossed your mind, but you resolved to endure a while longer, intent on avoiding any undue attention.
"You from around here?"
The man persisted, his gaze burning into the side of your face as you continued to sip your coffee, attempting to ignore his unsettling stare.
"Well, I'm just from a couple towns over. Just here to visit some family," you replied.
The lie slid smoothly from your lips, its delivery as effortless as the gentle cascade of silk ribbons. Setting your mug down upon the wooden table, you lifted the fabric of your sleeve to your lips, the delicate lace trim brushing against your skin as you wiped them clean. The subtle gesture, though simple, was executed with a precision that belied the unease stirring within you.
"I didn't think many people actually lived in this town, so that's surprising."
He mused with a laugh, the sound melodic and filled with amusement, causing you to steal another glance in his direction. His dark hair, tousled slightly, framed a pair of warm brown eyes that sparkled with a hint of mischief. His features, while bearing the marks of experience and maturity, still retained a boyish charm, adding an intriguing depth to his appearance. His smile, genuine and inviting, seemed to suggest a shared moment of lightheartedness, despite the underlying tension in the air.
"Yeah, it's a pretty small town. Are you from around here?"
"No, I'm just here visiting family too," he replied, nonchalant.
Your gaze drifted to his table, noting the absence of any food or drink. There was no coffee, no plates, no silverware—nothing, despite it being breakfast time. It struck you as odd; most people would take advantage of the complimentary breakfast offered by the motel. Could he have finished his coffee already? That seemed unlikely; you were among the first few people to arrive at the dining hall, and you were certain you would have noticed him if he had been there before. Another detail caught your attention: despite the early hour, the dining hall was unusually quiet. Typically, there would be a few families up early, grabbing a meal before hitting the road, or staff bustling about, preparing for the day ahead. However, today was different; it was just you and the strange man. Even the staff responsible for food preparation seemed to be absent—perhaps on a break?
"This town is so quiet, it's like a nice getaway sometimes, you know? A break from the city."
Your heart skipped a beat at his words, but you forced a smile, trying not to read too much into them. Your fingers gripped the fabric of your pants tightly, a subconscious gesture of unease. He was just making casual conversation, you reminded yourself, but you couldn't shake off the feeling of caution.
"I agree, it's nice out here, especially with all the nature and stuff," you replied, keeping the conversation light. You felt a wave of embarrassment wash over you, an overwhelming urge to bury your face in your hands at the realization of your oversight. The motel was situated in the heart of the desert, surrounded by nothing but sand and cacti. What "nature" were you even talking about? The irony of your comment was not lost on you, and you couldn't help but chastise yourself for the slip-up.
"Right? It's a good escape from the bustling city."
Yet, it appeared the man was toying with your words, subtly teasing you without missing a beat.
"May I ask for your name?" he inquired politely, prompting a moment of hesitation within you. Why did he want to know your name? You stared at him, your brows furrowing slightly as you pondered whether to be honest or to fabricate a response. After all, your first name shouldn't matter, should it?
"...[First Name]."
"It's nice to meet ya, miss [first name]. The name's Alex."
He seemed content with your response, inching closer to you and dragging his wooden chair along with him. The warm light of the dining room enveloped him, casting a soft glow that gently softened his features and lent a sense of comfort to his demeanor. As he drew nearer, you couldn't help but notice his impressive build; he was quite muscular, his physique accentuated by the black, form-fitting T-shirt he wore, which highlighted his broad shoulders and contoured muscles. You also observed traces of scars and injuries scattered across his hands, along with a small cut on his cheek, adding a rugged edge to his appearance.
"You seem quite familiar with this place. Are you a regular visitor here?" you asked, your tone curious as you studied him, trying to unravel the mystery that surrounded him.
"No, I was born and raised in another shut off town before getting sent off to the military. What about you?"
You contemplated the possibility of him having a military background, which would explain his demeanor and appearance. However, you also couldn't shake off the thought that he might just be a man who regularly found himself in mischief. Regardless, you knew you should be wary of him; if he were to try to take advantage of you, it would be challenging to fend him off. Unaware of his intense gaze fixed not just on your face but also on your lips, which tended to part subtly whenever you were lost in thought, you continued to engage in conversation.
"I've lived in the city with my mother for a couple of years so you're right it's nice place to escape to."
He nodded in agreement, a gesture that seemed to convey a sense of understanding, yet it lack sincerity.
"I bet it's a good place to escape to, especially for people who are sick of the city and criminals like you miss."
Your body freezes at his words as your eyes widen in surprised, your mind racing to understand his words, on what he truly meant by that. You observe his face, trying to look for any signs of other emotions besides being relaxed, yet you couldn't detect anything. You see him reaching into the side of his pocket, causing your mind to race like crazy as you quickly stood up from your chair. Was he pulling out a weapon? A knife? A gun?
"You can't be serious," you replied in disbelief, the cheerful smile you once wore now replaced with a look of apprehension. Slowly backing away, you watched as he stood up from his chair, his size and height suddenly more imposing. Your eyes caught sight of a holster around his waist, the gun within becoming more apparent as his hand gripped it firmly.
"Yeah, it's a good place to lay low after smashing the mayor's head, huh? Definitely caused a ruckus back in the city."
Without a moment's pause, you hastened towards the door, but Alex made no attempt to pursue you, instead advancing steadily as if he were a predator stalking its quarry. Your heart throbbed in your chest, your palms grew clammy, and your legs trembled with each step, yet you persevered, determined not to falter. Upon reaching the dining hall's entrance, however, you discovered the doors were firmly locked from the outside. Despite your efforts, they remained resolute, denying your escape.
Stupid doors!
"Can't blame you though, the geezer was known for being a jerk to women. But hey, did you know that old dude had connections to the underworld?"
As his words filled the air, you abandoned the locked door and made a desperate dash for the window. Your hands, slick with sweat, struggled to maintain a grip on the chair you intended to use to shatter the glass. With a surge of adrenaline, you swung the chair, the sound of impact echoing through the room as the glass resisted your efforts to break it. Suddenly, a deafening gunshot shattered the tense silence, causing you to scream in terror. The chair slipped from your grasp, clattering to the floor as you frantically sought cover. Heart pounding, you dove behind the nearest object—a salad bar—hoping it would shield you from the unseen danger lurking outside.
"Many of his clients were pretty pissed when they found out their little puppeteer was gone. Hard to control a dumb guy like him to do their bidding."
Peeking surreptitiously from behind the salad bar, your heart pounded as you endeavored to comprehend the unfolding turmoil. Alex remained composed by the window, a sardonic smile adorning his lips as he observed your futile escape attempts. The gun in his hands glistened under the diner's dim lights, taunting your existence and deriding your futile endeavors to evade both it and its wielder.
In that pivotal moment, you grasped the gravity of the peril enveloping you. Alex transcended mere acquaintance; he embodied imminent danger. Your survival hinged on evading his grasp. Crouched behind the salad bar, your mind raced, grappling with a decision. Should you risk exposure by making a break for it, or bide your time in obscurity, praying for timely rescue? You almost laughed at yourself for entertaining such a thought. There was no one who could help you at this point. Your eyes caught sight of a fire escape just across the room.
"That's why they sent me after you!"
The sound of footsteps approaching made your decision for you. Without a second thought, you bolted from your hiding spot, darting towards the emergency exit. The adrenaline fueled your movements, propelling you forward as you pushed past tables and chairs, nearly falling onto your knees yet you were desperate to escape the danger that lurked behind you.
As you neared the exit, your hand outstretched to push the door open, a smile of relief almost gracing your lips, another loud bang shattered the air. Yet your hopes were shattered. In an instant, you found yourself falling to the ground, a wave of surprise washing over you. Agonizing pain shot through your calf as you hit the floor with a resounding thud, knocking over tables and chairs in your descent. No, no, no! You were on the verge of reaching the door; just a few seconds more, and you would have made it.
"C'mon now miss, I feel bad if I have to hurt a pretty little thing like you."
Alex sighed softly, the sound carrying a weight of resignation as he closed the distance between you. His movements were graceful, almost silent, despite the heavy boots he wore. With a practiced motion, he holstered his pistol, the leather creaking softly as it settled against his side. As he reached you, his hand moved to his temple, rubbing it gently as he regarded the wound on your calf with a mixture of concern and contemplation. His gaze lingered on the injury, his expression unreadable, before he finally spoke, his voice calm yet tinged with a hint of regret.
"You should be happy I'm a great shot cause some other hunters would have shot you dead instead."
You couldn't stifle the instinct to turn, your gaze a glare tempered by agony. Did he anticipate commendation for sparing a more fatal shot? His countenance betrayed no hint of remorse, a grin like a scar etched into his features, persisting despite the violence he had wrought upon you. He knelt, the motion fluid, almost mocking the pain you endured. His eyes met yours, unwavering, as if daring you to challenge the twisted logic behind his actions. The silence between you spoke volumes, a clash of wills and morality, set against the backdrop of your suffering.
"You left me no choice," he said, his voice a blend of indifference and justification. But in that moment, as you struggled to comprehend the depth of his callousness, all you could muster was a silent, seething glare.
"Y'know, I thought you would be the tough type after hearing about what you did, but you're definitely the scaredy type.”
The scene was fraught with tension as Alex's finger grazed your cheek, his lips puckering in a gesture that would have seemed comical under different circumstances. However, the pain you were experiencing kept any amusement at bay. It dawned on you, belatedly, that his seemingly innocuous questions and comments had been a facade for his underlying suspicion. His laughter, tinged with pity and amusement, cut through the air, underscoring your predicament. In his eyes, you were nothing more than a small, defenseless rabbit, caught in his trap and unable to escape, your vulnerability adding to your perceived charm.
"No hard feelings, miss. I'm just doing my job.”
You watched in terror as he pulled out a taser from the pocket of his pants, his laughter mocking your fear. With a click of a button, the electrical power began to crackle, and he held it out in front of you, the weapon a cruel testament to your helplessness.
"Hey, don't look at me like that. The cloth-over-mouth method is just in movies. This is going to knock you out cold for hours.”
“...are you going to kill me?”
He paused, as if considering your question, before finally shrugging, his expression unreadable.
"Who knows? Since you're a cutie, I might be able to convince the bounties to spare your life.”
He replied with a smirk, bringing the taser closer to your neck. With a deft motion, he activated the device, the blue crackling electricity illuminating your face. He held it just inches away from your skin, the threat of pain palpable in the air. As he drew his hand back, he almost affectionately petted your head, a stark contrast to the agony coursing through your body as the taser made contact. Your scream pierced the air, drowned out only by the crackling of the taser. As you faded into unconsciousness, his mocking voice lingered in your mind, a bitter reminder of the cruel fate you faced.
"Goodnight, [First Name]. Don't sleep too long, 'cause I'll be here for you, waiting.”

School Girl Crush Pt 1
Part 1| Part 2| Part 3| Part 4| Part 5| A new BAU member appears and Spencer sees her as a little threat to his status of boy genius. Being unable to get comfortable with each other causes some issues within the team. Will they be able to move past it and work together?
Spencer Reid x FemBau!OC
Moving to the US was daunting. Coming from a smaller English town hadn't prepared me for the move. At only 23, I was joining the FBI. It was a dream of mine to catch murderers and profile serial killers so when I was put forward, I couldn't contain my excitement.
I first arrived at the start of the month and now, 2 weeks later, I was entering the FBI office in Quantico, Virginia. This morning, I had a big panic about what to wear. I settled on black trousers and a white button up blouse. My satchel held everything I would need. My hands held the strap tightly as I stood in the lift, making my way up to my dream job. I watched the numbers go up as I got closer and closer to my floor. My nerves were in full force as I chewed my lip out of habit.
The lift dinged, signaling my arrival. Taking a deep breath, I stepped into the corridor. People bustled around me as I just stood there. The clack of heels echoed around me as I became conscious of my heavy combat boots, hidden mostly by my long trousers. The glow of florescent lights added to the intimidating feeling. Long, white hallways with many doors and framed photos of Agents killed in action. My British upbringing became very obvious as I became aware of how many guns were around me. Almost every single person had one on them. I had my own gun tucked in the holster as my side. Learning to shoot hadn't been very difficult and I gained my license to carry within a few weeks of accepting the position. It wasn't like I had no experience, I had worked with the NCA for years and knew a lot about chasing down dangerous criminals.
While preparing for the role, I had been in frequent contact with SSA Hotchner. He was my new boss so it was him I was meant to find first. A little intimidated by the agents around me, I kept my head down, letting my hair hide my face. In the center of the floor was a bullpen with a number of desks. Agent Hotchner was in charge so he would most likely have an office, with this in mind I walked towards the small set of stairs. I didn't want to ask for directions, my stubbornness was to blame for that. I felt some eyes on me as I ascended the stairs. Not wanting to be stared at, I quickly scanned the doors and spotted the one labelled SSA Aaron Hotchner. With one hand I knocked against the door and with the other I straightened my blouse. "Come in." Breathe.
I push the door open. Inside the office was larger than I expected. A large wooden desk was the main focus of the room. My eyes found Agent Hotchner sat behind the desk, stacks of paperwork surrounding him. He was a serious man, his hair was dark and his suit was neat. I felt the need to impress him, to make him proud of me. He looked up at me, placing his pen down and turning all his attention to me. "Agent Hotchner?" Why do I ask stupid questions? This man was sat in the office labelled with that name, sat at a desk with a plaque and I was asking if it was him. Sometimes I don't feel as smart as I should. "Yes. Agent Colesta I assume." As I nodded my head he rose from his seat, walking towards me. His hand extended. With as much confidence as I could muster, I shook his hand firmly.
Agent Hotchner wanted to ask me some questions and update me on everything I needed to know. We sat across the desk from each other. My leg bounced as I realised how important this was. He needed to believe in my abilities. "How are you settling in?" He didn't look up at me as he searched through one of his drawers. "Its definitely a change but I'm doing pretty well." A small hum was the only response I got as he lay a folder on the wood. My folder. I could see my name printed on the front. Lyn Colesta. I tensed as he opened it, revealing everything about me compressed onto a mere few pieces of paper.
Over the next hour, Agent Hotchner asked me questions and allowed me to ask some back. In that time, I became less nervous of his stoic demeanor. "That is all of my questions. Do you have anything else you would like to know?" I thought for a moment, running a mental check. "I don't think so. Thank you Agent Hotchner." I gave a small smile to the older man. "Most members of the team call me Hotch. It is up to you but that's the norm here." Nodding, I knew it would take a while for me to get comfortable using a nickname.
Agent Hotchner stood from his desk, leading me to do the same. Without saying a word, we exited his office and walked down the stairs to the bullpen. I became very conscious of the small group of agents at one of the desks, staring at the two of us. Unfortunately for me, Agent Hotchner led us towards them. The members of the BAU. My need for a good impression wiped my nervous fidgeting from my body and replaced it with a confident expression. As we neared the group their conversation slowed to a halt, showing they were probably discussing the strange girl who had been with their boss for some time.
Hotchner made some conversation with a blonde woman. I took this time to examine each of them. Closest to me was a tall, dark skinned man. He was perched on the side of the desk, mug in hand. He was quite muscular and by him demeanor, I could tell he was confident in his physical capabilities. There was an uncertain look in his eye as he looked at me which showed he wasn't easily accepting of new people. I would have to earn his trust. I love a challenge. The desk clearly belonged to the dark haired woman sat on the chair. She held herself with propriety, more than most, which showed she had an important role at some point. I had a feeling I would get along well with her as there was a hint of mischief on her face as she smirked. Then there was the woman talking to Agent Hotchner. It was clear she had a fairly important place around her because of the way Hotchner was listening intently to every word she said. She seemed like a kind hearted woman but also someone that I shouldn't cross. I made a mental note of all my observations.
"This is Agent Colesta. She will be joining the unit." Agent Hotchner gestured to me, bringing all sets of eyes to me. Resisting the urge to shrink under their gazes, I gave a friendly smile and a small wave. Thankfully, each of them returned my smile, settling my nerves a little more. "Its nice to meet you. I'm Lyn." My meek attitude creeping out as I greeted them. "Derek Morgan." The man gave me a sly smirk as he reached out to shake my hand. I gladly shook his hand. I turned to the dark haired woman. "Emily Prentiss." She didn't make a move to shake my hand, opting for a small nod. " Jennifer Jareau. But you can call me JJ." Now, JJ did go for an handshake. Normally I wasn't a huge fan of shaking hands, especially with strangers but I knew I needed to make a good first impression.
Agent Hotchners cell phone began to ring in his pocket, causing a groan to erupt from Agent Prentiss. "Hotchner." He answered instantly, opting to walk away from the small group to take the call in private. I was left with my new colleagues. Suck it up Lyn. Time to schmooze them off their feet. "I was under the impression that there was more of you." I feigned a puzzled expression as I spoke to them. Agent Morgan chuckled slightly. "Yeah, there is. Rossi's somewhere around here and Reid will be here in about 10 minutes." I nodded, remembering those new names for later.
Agents Jareau and Morgan excused themselves, walking over to their respective desks. I was a little unsure what to do. I didn't know where my desk was and hadn't been given any orders so I just stood by Agent Prentiss's desk. "You know, you could go meet Garcia. I'm sure she'd love to meet you and would really appreciate you going to her." Clearly I looked confused at the new person added to the mix. "Derek forgot to mention her before. She's our tech analyst. Her office is up there, right at the end of the hall." My eyes followed where Agent Prentiss had pointed. "Thanks for the advice." I was truly grateful. I needed all the friends I could get. Bidding her goodbye, I walked in the direction she said.
The hallway was fairly long and a little darker than the rest of the floor. I almost gave up when I finally spotted the last door. I had no clue how this Garcia would be. She could be completely horrible. Despite my hesitations, I knocked on the door. Some frantic shuffling could be heard on the other side as I waited patiently. After a few long seconds the door is pulled open. This woman was dressed in a bright pink cardigan, and white pencil skirt. Her blonde hair was in pigtails and on her face was a pair of statement glasses. Her eyes widened as she saw me. "Hello, are you Garcia?" She continued to stare at me before nodding aggressively. Still, she didn't say a word. "I'm Lyn. I just joined the unit." I gave an uncertain smile. Somehow, her eyes widened even more. A wide smile broke out on her face as she pulled the door wider and let me in. The office reflected her perfectly. There were little toys and knickknacks scattered about. Fuzzy topped pencils sat in a bedazzled pencil pot on the desk.
"You're Agent Colesta?" I hadn't told her my last name, but I nodded. Before it can register, Garcia pulls me into a hug which I halfheartedly reciprocate. "I'm Penelope." Penelope. I knew she wasn't an agent, she didn't carry herself like one and was much too positive to be one. "It's good to meet you, Penelope." I had a feeling we could be friends. "And you're British." Her excited squeal seemed strange to me. What's so exciting about being British?
Penelope and I spent sometime chatting. More like her talking and me nodding or giving a short response. She gave me a brief run down of everything going on around her. It was actually very helpful. Apparently her and Agent Morgan were the flirty two in the unit. She only mentioned it to reassure me if I heard any of their conversations which can get quite 'graphic' according to her. Agent Rossi was a famous author. I knew I recognised that name, I'd read his books on serial killers and the psychology behind their actions. Dr Reid was the genius of the team with an eidetic memory and an IQ of 187. That was actually quite impressive. Garcia told me that he didn't like physical contact and loved to spurt random facts at any given time. Dr Reid was only 8 months older than me according to Garcia. Hold on. I never told her my birthday. "How do you know that?" I was getting a little suspicious of this bubbly woman. Her demeanor turned sheepish. "I looked through your file." My mouth fell open as she spoke. "I'm sorry but I just got curious."
This, of course, led to me asking questions about what she can access. I was then shown through Garcia's set up. It was extremely impressive, she could access almost anything from her little office. I think I might have fallen in love with her when she pulled up the cameras from the bullpen and showed me a clip from a few weeks ago. The clip was from a late night in the office and showed Agent Prentiss tripping over a bin and then she just didn't move for a few minutes. It was pretty funny. I was glad Agent Prentiss had advised me to introduce myself to Garcia. Talking with her had relaxed me and I felt prepared to start my new job simply because of her being there.
A ping came from Garcia's system and she immediately spun in her chair to see what it was. "We have a case. To the roundtable we go." Her wording amused me. I stood by the door, watching Garcia rush around, grabbing files and other various things from around her office. Deciding she didn't have enough arms, Garcia handed me a few things off her pile and started out of the office and down the hallway. I froze for a second but quickly rushed after her. She walked quickly. The clicking of her kitten heels filled the silence of the empty space. It took a bit of effort to keep walking beside her.
The roundtable, as Garcia called it, was on the same level as Agent Hotchners office. It seemed like most of the unit was already there. From a distance I could count 5 heads and could see Agent Jareau stood at the front of the room. Agent Morgan and Agent Prentiss were easy to recognise. Agent Hotchners dark hair caught my eye as he sat closest to where Agent Jareau stood. The 2 remaining people had to be Agent Rossi and Dr Reid. Smile. Make a good impression.
As we entered the room, Garcia greeted the group, recieving a few greetings in return. "Good morning baby girl." So that's what she meant. Noted. I was directed to the seat between Agent Prentiss and Garcia. "Before we get started, this is Agent Lyn Colesta. She is now a member of the team." My head shot up at the sound of my name. "Agent Colesta, this is Agent David Rossi." I smile to the man Agent Hotchner gestured to. "Nice to meet you." He seemed nice enough. I felt like a fangirl but kept it to myself, figuring he was fed up of people telling him they love his books. "And this, is Dr Spencer Reid." My eyes moved to the last person at the table. He was clearly my age, had longish brown hair and wore a cardigan. He intrigued me. Dr Reid gave me a small wave, which I copied.
Agent Jareau started her presentation about the case. I focused all my attention on the manila folder in front of me. This was the start of my dream. Everything was falling into place for me and I couldn't contain my excitement. Profiling wasn't new to me but the BAU, they were legends in the psychology world and getting to work with them was what I wanted to do with my life. Nothing would get in the way of my work now. My sole focus would now be on this job.

Hi guys, it's Vic! Also known as:
Round TWO at addressing the extreme racism in the CoD fandom!
So it’s both odd and funny that my Indigenous fem!OC has pissed off so many random people, especially with the fact that I created her to ship with Ghost.
(A fictional character that has NO canon love interest, FYI. Sorry to bust y'all's little bubble. Well, there's Mara and Urban Tracker....)
Anyways, I really don't care if this post sounds bitchy in nature. I really don't, not anymore. Some of y'all need a damn wakeup call. Several months ago, in December of 2023, I made a post (here) regarding the sudden influx of hate I began receiving following the posting of my OC, SilentDove Reyes. For around two weeks after that post, the hate died down, and I felt motivated to create more content involving Dove and Ghost.
Until the hate picked up again with every little thing I posted that related to my OC x Ghost.
However....this new hate incorporated the MMIW. A bold ass move, in my opinion.
If you are not aware, the MMIW stands for "Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women." Alternate spellings include the MMIWG & MMIWGTS (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirits). As of 2023, statistics indicate that Indigenous women face a 10x murder rate than any other race/ethnicity. I have made a previous post regarding the issue, seen here. The unfortunate truth is that young Indigenous girls are more likely to be SA'd and murdered than to attend college. Let that sink in for a moment.
Now, I am an Indigenous woman. That is no surprise there; I fashioned my OC to provide myself (and, by extension, others) with Native representation in a franchise I greatly enjoy. What IS surprising, however, is that me doing so has pissed off so many people. I'm very certain some of y'all must descend from Andrew Jackson, or John Wayne cause, christ on a bike driven by a pike.
Here is a screenshot of a hate anon I recently received:
Listen, I don't care who you ship Ghost with. I really don't. I've blocked numerous shipping tags, remained mindful of the content I'm interacting with, and surrounded myself with fellow mutuals who also have personal OCs. It is really that easy.
What I do care about is the fact that some of you CANNOT separate fanon headcanons from canon material.
Exhibit A:
So let’s clear some stuff up!
Soap x Ghost is NOT canon.
Ghost being queer is NOT canon.
And, most definitely, Ghost being a woman abuser who would harm/abuse/murder a woman (either physically, emotionally, psychologically) is NOT canon.
What IS canon is his and Soap's strong bond. In my eyes, that is a brotherly bond, reminding me of a big brother/little brother relationship; in my fanfiction, Soap is Ghost's children's uncle. In fact, his son (second-born child) is named after him.
You are, of course, free to view them as romantic; what you are not free to do is attack OC creators/non-shippers for not perceiving them like that.
That is just fucking weird and delusional behavior. Knock it off. You're giving your fellow normal shippers a bad name.
ALSO! Let’s clear things up!
1. I’m not straight — I’m bisexual and demisexual.
2. I’m only half white (Spanish, with Mexican heritage). I’m QUITE LITERALLY an enrolled Native, so I guess the best way to describe me is “biracial.”
3. It’s y’all ruining the canon gay representation by shipping Laswell—a GAY woman—with Price, despite the fact that she canonically has a wife.
4. My OC does not have a “dumb fucking name.” Her name is an Indigenous name with a specific backstory to it; it’ll be explored further in future fanfics once I find the motivation to return to writing.
Anyways, I highly doubt this will be the last post I create regarding this problem; apparently, a nice chunk of the fandom has this intense animosity towards fem!OCs, fem!Y/Ns, and BIPOC!OC creators. Alright. With that being said, I invite anyone who has similar experiences to share yours, either in the reblogs or in separate posts.
As sometimes we say during pow wows:
“The floor is all yours.”
Thank you!

—Background 🗞️
Elias Drake-Thorne grew up in a gritty, crime-ridden neighborhood of New York City, an environment where survival demanded caution and sharp instincts. His family lived on the fringes of society, often struggling to make ends meet, but they instilled in Elias the importance of resilience and intelligence. The loss of his parents instilled a deep desire for justice, but unlike the flashy superheroes he saw on the news, Elias preferred to operate in the shadows.
His quiet and observant nature helped him navigate the dangers of the streets, but it also set him apart from others his age, who often resorted to louder, more aggressive means of coping.
Struggles in School:
Academically, Elias was never the best student. He found it hard to focus on traditional subjects that didn’t capture his interest. However, when it came to technology, engineering, and creative writing, he thrived. Teachers often noted that while Elias lacked discipline in some areas, he excelled when left to explore topics on his own terms.
He was the kind of student who would rather figure things out through hands-on experience than by reading textbooks. His self-directed learning led him to develop a keen understanding of technology and electronics, often repairing gadgets or inventing small devices for fun.
— | — | —
Career at Stark Industries:
Eventually, Elias’s natural talent with technology earned him a spot at Stark Industries as a tech consultant. Despite his unconventional academic background, his skill set made him an asset to the company. Elias was particularly valued for his ability to think outside the box, offering creative solutions to complex problems.
While he kept a low profile, preferring not to attract attention, he found satisfaction in contributing to projects that supported the Avengers and enhanced Stark’s technology. His job allowed him to quietly play a part in protecting the world, even if he was never on the front lines.
Passion for Writing:
Though technology became his career, Elias’s true love has always been storytelling. He developed a passion for writing early on, finding solace in crafting narratives that explored justice, corruption, and the complexities of human nature. In his free time, he began writing investigative pieces, focusing on the darker, hidden parts of New York’s criminal underworld.
His reserved nature made him an excellent investigator—people rarely noticed him, and he was adept at blending into the background. His articles, though often published anonymously or under pseudonyms, became a way for him to expose the truths others were too afraid to confront.
————
—|—|—
—Likes ☕️
Iced Coffee: Elias has a penchant for iced coffee, which keeps him alert during long nights of work or writing.
Drama Shows: He enjoys drama shows, particularly those with complex characters and intricate plots. He finds them a great escape and a source of inspiration for his own writing.
Mac & Cheese: A comfort food that reminds him of simpler times; he often makes it for himself when he’s feeling nostalgic or in need of a quick meal.
Simple Fashion: Prefers understated, practical clothing—jeans, simple tees, and comfortable shoes. He values functionality over fashion trends.
Homebody: Elias enjoys staying in and tends to be a homebody. He finds solace in the comfort of his own space, away from the chaos of the outside world.
—Dislikes 📌
Loud, Crowded Places: Due to his reserved nature, Elias dislikes loud, crowded environments which can be overwhelming and stressful for him.
Disorganization: He values order and tends to be irked by disorganization, whether in his personal space or in his work environment.
Unnecessary Attention: Prefers to stay out of the spotlight and avoids situations where he is the center of attention.
Overly Sweet Foods: While he likes mac & cheese, he’s not a fan of overly sweet foods or drinks, finding them cloying and unappealing.

Day Twenty-Four: Klaus Mikealson + Toys
It had started as a gag gift and then turned into something more private and serious. Though you aren't really sure if Klaus knows what a gag gift is.
You had both gone out, grabbing gag gifts of your own for each other. You grabbed the best of the best. Fart spray. Klaus on the other hand grabbed something rather sesitive, and private.
The night before you were supposed to leave for a family vacation with the Mikealson family. You set your trap, Klaus taking a shower and this time you had opted to not take one alongside him. Klaus was already suspicious of your option not to shower with him.
You set everything up. The sound of the water turning off lets you know that you have to get into postion. Just before Klaus walks out of the bathroom. You spritz a few pumps out of the bottle. You run back to the bed. Getting under the blanket and willing your heart to slow down.
"Love…" Klaus stops mid sentence, disgusts worps his beautiful face. "What the hell is that smell?" He asks, you look over him. Your phone in hand. "What are you talking about baby?" You ask with faux concern. He can't tell if you're lying to him, but he takes what you give him for a real answer.
You lay there as Klaus tries his hardest to get awya from the disgusting smell. Getting dressed in a low pair of sweatpants, and climbs into bed with you. The silence is comforting, and just as you get into your sleep. The warm hands of klaus land on your hips and drag you into him.
"Good night sweetheart." he whispers into your ear, and kisses you right under your ear. "Also I'm fully willing to get you back for earlier." He says in a husky voice. You shiver at the antipication, and his words.
The next morning you take a long and needed shower. From outside the door Klaus shouts that he'll get your outfit together. You don't mind the action, it makes you flaot whenever you walk out and there lays our outfit. When you do manage to get out of the steamy bathroom. Your clothes lay out on the beds edge. Panties and all.
You get dressed, and without even thinking about you gather yourself up, and get into the car. Klaus had already packed your bags alongside his own. You got into the passengar seat, and waited for him.
The car ride was filled with is favorite music, and then the sudden feeling between your legs gave you a shiver. Stopping you in what you were doing. The book flopping down to your lap. "What's wrong baby?" That tone, the mimick of his voice. "Oh fuck- nothing is wrong. Just this, um this book." You pratically moan out, the buzzing in your panties.
Suddenly clicks in your head, "Is this-" you shifgt and the buzz sensation goes straight to your clit and you can't manage to get words or thoughts out. "Are you… Is this your gag fuckin' gift?' You finally ask, as the buzzing calms down. Klaus smirks that devilish smirk.
The buzzing stops suddenly, and then you're back to reading your book. Distracted by the words, and the chacters stories. It's not till hours later when you're eating dinner with Klaus sister on each side of you. Your talking with Freya about a girl nights that you're just dying to go on, but then the damn smirk comes back on Klaus face as he listens to his brother elijah moan on and on about something so unimportant he's just staring at you.
The buzzing starts up again. Low at first, and then you can't ignore the feeling inbetween your legs. You can feel your face go red like the apples in the trees behind you.
"Are you okay Y/n?" Freya asks, "Hm," You half moan and hum. "just a little hot out here." Your voice breaks. "Oh, yeah I do have to agree it's a little hot out here. Don't know why we had to eat out here?" Freya says dramtically while turning to look at her two brothers.
The buzzing doens't stop, not even has your grip on the silverware turns white, and your thighs squeeze tightly to stop the buzzing. "Klaus can you.… um… pass the um the salad." You moan out, and you drop the silverware and reach out for the bowl.
"Of course baby." Klaus voice is once again husky, as he passes the bowl the buzzing increases, and you almost drop the bowl. "Maybe you should go take a rest Y/n." Rebekah says looking athe situation unfold. "Go take your girlfriend inside in the cool air Niklaus." She says strongly.
"Come on sweetheart, let's go inside." Klaus says getting up from his seat, and going towards you. You stay still in your postion, and then latch onto his bicep. He's holding you up.
When you both reach the front french doors. You both stop for Klaus to open the door. As the two of you walk in Klaus whispers in your ear. "You feelin' good baby?" You moan asthe feeling hadn't gone away. Your high is so close then the feeling stops between your thighs. "Klaus!" You moan, "Don't worry baby, I'll let you cum tonight."

HEARTBEAT
Tony stark x f!reader
Warnings: none just fluff
Author’s note: English is my second language, please forgive me if I made any mistakes (:
I didn't even notice when it started. Chaos. There was only chaos around. I am currently helping people get away from robots. I'm bruised, but I'm not worrying about myself. I'm worrying about Tony, who's somewhere fighting. Usually, when something like this happens, he barely escapes alive. (Only because he knows that if he dies, I will find a way to resurrect him and kill him with my own hands.) My and Tony have been dating for 2 years now, which is why I'm already used to the chaos of fighting.
When I get the people to a safe place, I begin to look for Tony. After a couple of minutes, I get to the roof of one of the buildings. And only then did I realize that the fighting had stopped. I heard the sound of engines.
And I instantly knew it was Tony.
'Oh god' I say with relief as I run to hug him.
'Hey, hey, I'm fine, are you okay?' he ask
'Yeah, I'm fine. I was worried' I say.
'I was worried about you too' he said, making my heart melt. 'But you know.. I saved everyone' he started to smirk,'Soo i think I deserve a kiss for it'
'oh really?' I play along.
'Yeah, I'm a hero. Heros deserve a kiss' he said, as it was common knowledge.
I roll my eyes but smile and pull him in the kiss. I automatically started to relax more now that I'm in his loving embrace. When he started deepening the kiss, Jarvis voice interrupted us.
'Sir, your heartbeat begins to race really fast'
I giggled, pulling away, and Tony sighed with irritation.
'Thank you, Jarvis, because that's something I definitely wanted her to know,' he said, sarcastic.
'you welcome, sir'
I smile at him lovingly. 'I make your heart race?'
He smiled back at me and said 'You have no idea how much, sweetheart'

Dirtyhands’ Scholar : Kaz Brekker x Reader
Description: 2k wc, y/n graduates and it causes some ‘domestic’ changes to occur at the Slat. Fluff
Warnings: mentions of drinks, moving in, typical SoC topics.
Note: Happy Graduation Day @ell0ra-br3kk3r 🖤
Kaz shifted his weight as he stood next to the granite column, using his cane for balance. He watched as y/n rose from her chair and made her way to the podium. He stood up straighter as her eyes scanned the crowd that had gathered in the hall in search of him. A comfortable warmth formed in his chest as she grinned upon seeing him.
Y/n tried not to let her body show the tingling sensation that radiated through her when she confirmed that Kaz had come. She was currently on a stage in the school’s main hall, about to accept her diploma. She didn’t need everyone to see her shiver. And she didn’t need to inflate Kaz’s ego by having such a strong reaction to him simply coming to support her achievement. But it didn’t help that she’d noticed while he’d stood off to the side, likely due to the crowding happening amongst the other attendees, his eyes were intently focused on her and her alone. She bit her lip shyly as she observed him nod faintly at her. She stifled a nervous giggle as he smirked at her as she made her way across the stage and to the podium at the center. She heard her fellow crows cheering her on loudly from where they were seated. She offered them an appreciative smile before she turned her attention back to the school’s president in order to receive her diploma.
Kaz felt a fuzzy feeling in his chest when he took a deep breath and watched her accept her degree. When her eyes met his instinctively, he rewarded her with a proud smile. It disappeared as quickly as he had made it appear, but he knew she saw it nevertheless.
The crows exchanged nudges and knowing looks as they began to step back. They’d been hugging and congratulating y/n they heard Kaz approaching. It was obvious when they had all caught on to the reason for the interruption as they all now donned smirks while slowly backing away from her.
Kaz disregarded his crows’ behaviors, his eyes focused on his only purpose today, y/n. With his back to the others, he slowly reached into his deep coat pocket. His free hand rubbed the back of his neck shyly as he pulled out a small collection of flowers he’d gotten her.
“You came,” y/n murmured happily. She cautiously reached for Kaz’s hand that was nervously scratching his neck. Upon him not moving away, she interlaced their hands and lowered them to her side as she smiled widely at him.
Kaz tilted his head to the left. “Is that what your education taught you? How to spot the obvious?” He stifled a chuckle upon eating a playful glare from her, pleased she caught on that he was teasing. “I said I’d come,” he pointed out.
Y/n nodded and gratefully took hold of the flowers, moving them up to her nose. “Still, I know you’d rather be at the Crow Club, scheming and planning-,” she began.
“I’m right where I want to be y/n,” he promised.
She smiled and squeezed his hand.
“Where are you wanting to be now?” He asked.
Y/n squinted in confusion. His tone was as stoic as always, but his eyes held a shimmer of fear.
“Your schooling is done,” Kaz pointed out, earning a slow nod from y/n in response. “Is your time in Ketterdam as well?”
Oh. She let out a soft sigh, relieved she now knew what was troubling him. “Do you want it to be?”
“What did I say about asking questions to which you already know the answer to?” He scolded lightly.
Y/n smiled reflexively, recalling the first time he’d given her that instruction years ago; long before she even chose to focus on school, back when she was just the newest crow. But, despite his attempt to make light of the conversation by being playfully strict, she could tell it was due to him being on edge about her answer to his actual question. She hummed softly and stepped closer until they were nearly touching. She shook her head, eyes fixated on his. “I’m nowhere near done here,” she promised.
Kaz nodded stiffly.
“But, I am going to need to find a place to sleep now that I have to leave the dorms,” she observed, looking back at the building over her shoulder.
Kaz’s stifled laugh came out as a quiet scoff as he shook his head. “Right, cause you’ve been spending the majority of your nights here,” he said sarcastically.
Y/n laughed and gazed down at her feet, unknowingly making Kaz smirk to himself. “But I will need an official residence in the Barrel again”.
“As opposed to where you’ve been living as of late?” Kaz questioned in a whisper.
Y/n’s eyes widened as she bit her bottom lip. “I… I just… we hadn’t really talked abou-…” she mumbled, trailing off with a nervous smile. “I thought you didn’t want me spending all my time at The Slat anymore,” she teased, switching away from her flustered reaction to a playful approach to the topic instead.
“I told you that when you first enrolled in courses, dove,” Kaz reminded her firmly. He smirked at her badly reaction to the nickname that left his lips. He used the crow’s head on his cane to tilt her head up until he could once again meet her gaze. “Couldn’t have you being distracted from your school work, hmm”.
“So now…” y/n whispered. Her feet nervously scuffled against the dirt under her feet. “Are you saying I get to return to my old room again?” She thought he might be implying more, but she didn’t want to outright ask that.
“That, or…”
“Or…” y/n echoed. They stared at each other in silence until her lips began to curl into a smile. “Or it is,” she grinned, sniffing the flowers from Kaz again as to hide her bashful face.
Y/n leaned against the doorframe that lead to Kaz’s room in the attic. She and the others had arrived back at the Slat moments ago and she wanted to change out of her graduation attire. However, she found herself pausing in the doorway, scanning his their room instead.
It had been a few weeks since she’d last been in this space. She’d been lovingly directed to focus on her finals and getting enough sleep. As such, Kaz advised she stay at her dorm instead of venturing into the Barrel each night as she had been for at least the last few months. He’d visited her a few times, but it wasn’t the same. She was excited to be back; to be home.
Y/n’s eyes made note of the small changes that had seemingly occurred since she was here last. She noticed that Kaz had changed the linens on their parallel beds and propped her pillows up the way she loved. She noticed the shiny, new, expensive, and yet currently empty, frame hanging behind her bed frame; a diploma frame for her new degree. She noticed a stack of books, stationary, a card, and some more flowers resting at the end of her mattress.
Kaz smiled to himself as he found y/n standing in his their -that would take some getting used to, but he found he wasn’t even slightly opposed to it- doorway. He quietly approached, wanting to give her time to get reacclimated. He slowly rested one of his gloved hands on her lower back to announce his presence. “Jesper and Rotty are bringing your belongings back from your dorm,” he informed her. He watched as she looked over at him and nodded. He swallowed thickly. “If it’s..” he trailed off. “Uh, they can place it in your old room should that be what you-“
Y/n rapidly shook her head and turned to face Kaz. “I’m tired of spending so much time away,” she confessed, causing him to blush. She giggled quietly. “I just can’t believe I managed to break through Dirtyhands’ walls enough to have this be a permanent thing,” she teased as she walked towards their slightly parted beds. When she noticed he’d not responded, she spun around with wide eyes. “I- not that I’m… I’m not saying-,” she mumbled, worried her earlier word choice was going to make him panic.
Kaz calmly shook his head. “I am in slight disbelief as well,” he murmured as he walked over to her.
Y/n took in a deep breath as he stopped before her and delicately touched her hips with his gloved hands. She silently stared up at him, letting him set the pace for wherever he wanted to say or do next.
Suddenly, an unexpected and uninvited cough interrupted them. Jesper smirked over at Y/n before turning to Kaz. “Uh, where did you want these, boss?” He questioned as he held one of y/n’s boxes.
Kaz looks over at Y/n in question.
Y/n smiled and looks over at Jesper, “I’ll take em Jes-“.
“He can set them down,” Kaz corrected, nodding to the end of her bed.
Jesper rushed over dramatically and set the box down, grinning at his friend when y/n thanked him.
“So uh, there’s a small party downstairs that Nina and Inej are cooking for,” Jesper announced as he made his way back to the door. “So, when you two are done, ya know doing whatever it is that you two do when-“.
“Leave,” Kaz groaned with a sharp glare.
“Yep. Okay boss,” Jesper waved before he quickly shut the door.
Y/n giggled faintly and pursed her lips at Kaz’s reaction but he just sighed and rolled his eyes.
“I suppose you’re wanting to join the others?” Kaz questioned as he mindlessly tidied up his dresser.
Y/n hummed and nodded pointlessly as she made her way back over to him after having changed. She rubbed his covered arms upon reaching him, silently letting him know he could turn around now. “But don’t worry, I’m home now and you’ll be seeing me all the time yet again,” she winked, sliding her hand down to his gloved one momentarily before she went to lead them out of the room.
“That’s not-..” Kaz went to defend, but stopped when she turned back to him knowingly. He blushed madly at his need to have her around having been caught so effortlessly. He sighed and nodded in acceptance.
“You okay, Kaz?” She worried, nearing him.
Kaz nodded her again, this time a shy smile faintly gracing his lips. “You’re back”.
“I’m back, for good,” y/n promised with a grin as she squeezed his hand.
“To y/n, for somehow getting herself through both her schooling, and this one,” Nina teased pointing her glass in Kaz’s direction.
Y/n frowned and shook her head. “Nina,” she scolded.
Kaz just rolled his eyes at Nina. But when he noticed y/n was going to protest her friend’s remark further, he lightly rubbed her lower back through her coat. As she turned her head toward him, he gazed silently at her as his fingers squeezed her back minimally.
“To Dirtyhands’ scholar!” Jesper cheered, redirecting the groups’ focus to their drinks in hand.
Everyone laughed and clicked their drinks together.
After lowering her drink, y/n gazed over at Kaz only to find his eyes were already on her. She smiled, “am I?”
“What did I say about asking questions that you already know the answer to?” Kaz hummed with a smirk as he reached for another shot. His eyes watched her from his periphery, his smirk growing over her flustered expression.
