BIOGRAPHY

Mallory McHale grew up in London with a deep love of competition. From the youngest age she raced boys around the block, threw boys and girls over her shoulder at Hapkido class, and took her place on the ice at the front of the pack, scoring goals (and the occasional fight). Mal had a pretty happy childhood, parents were kind of workaholics but they did the best they could to make sure she got everything she wanted.

Years passed and she obtained her black belt. A check off her list. She branched off into other martial arts to keep herself motivated and learning. She knew she'd have to make a change of scenery to achieve more in ice hockey, and go somewhere a little more known for it on a national scale. Canada. She managed to convince her parents to let her talk to some scouts from Canadian Universities and finally landed herself at OBC. Though she knew her passions out of the classroom, Mal didn’t really know what she wanted in it. She wasn't a bad student. She was an achiever by all counts, but she didn't know her direction. Her parents saw back home that InterPride was recruiting and so when her hockey seasons were over and her degree was obtained, she went to some recruiting events and managed to lock in a position.

Only thing was, was that she felt that she had too much to do to be fully locked. She worked hard by day and partied harder by night and all but exhausted herself to the point of her friends and family intervening. It was their suggestion that a change of pace was in order. InterPride had an office needing a position filled. The transfer was easy enough, but living there wasn't. She grew bored. Same routine over and over again, no excitement.

She tried to fill her days with long gym sessions and hanging out with friends, but everything just felt so low stakes in Swynlake, and what was she really doing at InterPride? What good was it doing?

Then one day she bumped into Jean Denim and it opened her eyes to the rough and ready, rapid lifestyle of the Swynlake Fire Department. She quit her desk job, joined the fire department and never looked back. Now she coasts through her nights, lives each minute of her days, and floats above the water, only thing is if people really stopped to look under the surface, they'd she how fast her feet were going to keep treading it.

“The Disney Afternoon: The Making of a Television Renaissance” Gets Delayed Till 2025 As Part Of The Disney Afternoon 35th Anniversary

Sad news Disney Afternoon fans, “The Disney Afternoon: The Making of a Television Renaissance” got delayed once again this time slated for a Fall 2025 release date according to Jake S. Friedman.

Likely the reason for this delay is to coincide with The Disney Afternoon 35th anniversary on 2025 and Disney TVA's 100th show ("StuGo" & "Robogobo") already airing on that time.

The Disney Afternoon: The Making of a Television Renaissance” will include sections dedicated to DuckTales (2017) and Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers (2022) as well a small section named “THE NEWEST WAVE: Or Rewrite History" likely dedicated to Disney TVA's current & future slate as part of the studio's 40th anniversary and it's 100th show ("StuGo")

Duckvember Day 17: Eggheaded Duck

I know there are a lot of smart characters, but this woman is even mechanical. Not only is she smart, but she knows both the theoretical and the practical.

I had tried to watch the Mighty Ducks series a while ago, but the page was just deleted. But now I have the Disney app and I think it's there. I need to watch a lot of duck series.

For animation books that have been out of print for decades, these ones I found online recently are in pretty good condition (and reasonably priced).

Duckvember - #30 - Nostalgic Duck

I've had this doll of my favorite character since I was 8 years old. He was the first toy I'd bought with allowance I had earned. I remember we went to Walmart up in Maine, and we went to the toy section on a whim and he was there. This doll has been through a lot, brought to sleepovers, camping, hiking, moving trips across country, Disney Land and World, Conventions, hospitals, and more. My mother even had to fix his wrists and feet because he was carried around so much. Then I had to learn how to sew him up myself. Whenever I needed to cry into the comfort of a toy, this doll was there and held tight. He's my dearest possession to this day, and he's always in arm's reach when I go to sleep even now to help with my anxiety.

They say special items like this give off an energy, and it's felt strongly from this doll when I need that comfort and I look back on memories he was there for.

Trying to climb out of artist's block and ended up drawing Ruin in a suit. I also wanted to see what he'd look like with his hair slicked back to show more of the metal bits on his face. He also looks somehow even more pissed off, which is fun.

Disney afternoon shows I have watched

The original ducktales though it been a long time

Goof Troop- Pete was such a ass in that cartoon lol, but I would die for Goofy and his soft parenting skills.

Darkwing Duck- I rematch this so show often, I might genuinely be my comfort show.

Talespin- my new beloved, wish I seen it sooner

Shows I'm not sure on:

Chip and Dale and the recuse rangers- I vaguely remember it being on but i didn't know if I ever properly watched it.

Quck Pack- I think I only ever watch one episode of this show. But I genuinely don't remember

Shows I have never watched ever:

Gargoyles (but I have hear really good things about it throughout the years)

Actually, now that I think about the only Disney afternoon shows, I only really watched growing up are DW, DT87 and Goof Troop, lol.

Random Headcanon #6!

Been a while since I’ve done one of these!

But this one has been rolling around in my head as I write several stories involving Falcone. And a thought occurred to me, whether he was a bad thief or not, wouldn’t he be the most recognizable bastard on the planet, even more so than the infamous Duke L’Orange?

Simple answer is no. Because other avians inhabit the planet.

Yes, Puckworld is where ducks live. But the entire dimension it resides in is avian based. How else would Falcone gotten away with being a thief for however many years? Or how would Wildwing know what a chicken is since he joking says to Canard something along the lines of being “half-chicken” in the first episode?

So while yes, it’s where ducks originate and mostly live due to the nature of their culture, other avians of all kinds either pass through or live on the planet.

…just food for thought.
