this is cringe I know and my wattpad looking ass is peaking again jus I'm going crazy forgive me-

But Imagine holding a small concert inside the Lost Light specifically on Swerve's Bar with both his and Rodimus permission (Rod begged Magnus to allow it) who was delighted to hear about this fun activity to cheer everyone up.

You and the other human crew build a mini stage and find earth music after digging through old stuff or hacking to try to catch some earth radio signal (idk if that is possible tho) and you can only snag the old classics like Abba, Eart Wind & Fire, Madonna, Boney M or the whole fuckn 80's.

Imagine going with the flow and straight up do 'Super Trouper' and dedicated it the all the bots who help you and your fellow humans survive space and welcome you to the crew and family.

Idk why but part of the song inspired me to make this imagine

(My young ass before though 'Super Trouper' was 'Super Troopers' and thought the song was about aliens or other space beings that a girl fell in love or something, I heard the song again and read the lyrics and got whiplash from getting it all wrong hahahaha)

Heard Ariana’s rendition of this on tik tok and immediately thought of the initial push back against Megatron joining the lost light in mtmte, not to mention as a captain 😭

In the comics Rodimus complained along with the other crew mates, but I think it would’ve been funny if he actually embraced megatron accompanying him on his ship to show how awesome, nice and cool he is for being able to befriend/ fix megatron LOL

Swerve has an Alternate Universe BINGO game running. The players, to mark off there spaces have to see or experience the event to mark it off. The players also must take either video or picture evidence to share with the group. Swerve hosts bingo nights where bots can get together and compare there scores and show off evidence. The way to win is to have your whole sheet filled out which is impossible because swerve is always taking suggestions on new spaces to add. Some crossed off spaces are evil autobots, mechs with tentacles, Megatron kissing Optimus prime, and a drift who’s just a racist stereotype. Everyone is playing but some take it more seriously than others. The top spot at the moment is rewind who always has proof. Whirl is in last place for picking up a small version of Optimus and shoving him at Megatron screaming ‘NOW KISS’.

Recently saw a video on YT of a beatboxer doing car engine sounds and an F1 Driver trying to guess what car it is So imagine the human liaison of the LL being good and beatbox effects, that as a prank she does random car engine sounds throughout the ship to startle the bots. The bots get confused when they turn around in the halls to see no one approaching, or maybe a crowd/group of bots looking at each other to figure out whose engine is that

You couldn't help but laugh at Drift's extravagant performance, cradling the mic in one servo as several bargoers cheered him on. Swerve let out his own quiet bark of laughter at the uncharacteristic display, leaning into you to fake-whisper conspiratorially to you.

"I think this was one of our better ideas."

"I'VE FORGOTTEN WHAT I STARTED FIGHTING FOOOOOOOOOOOR!"

And here came Rodimus to make this solo into a duet, sliding into Drift's personal space with a mostly-empty glass of high-grade dangling from one servo as he slung the other arm over Drift's shoulders and bullied his way into the mic.

"I think it could safely be called our best." You whispered back.

"EVEN IF I HAD TO CRAWL UPON THE FOOOOOOOOOOR!"

"COME CRASHING THROUGH YOUR DOOOOOOOR!!"

The two stumbled around the stage, Drift managing to keep Rodimus mostly upright as they did their shaky lap, hollering all the while. Until the empty glass slipped from between Rodimus's servos and clanked against Whirl's head on its way down, prompting a gleefully violent reaction from the aforementioned. As the flailing fists and claws for the two bots began to rally the crowd, you shot Swerve a curious look.

"Gonna do anything to stop that?"

"Nnnnope. Ultra Magnus is already on it."

as much as i joke about it, i do think that it is strange that ravage was simply allowed to remain on the lost light with zero restrictions or repercussions. ravage is an active decepticon who was spying on the crew for an extended period of time before forcibly being revealed. he is an active decepticon with the order to kill megatron, and he attacked megatron during the split lost light arc.

and then right when he appeared, they find a ship full of dead autobots, brainstorm is revealed to be a decepticon, and the universe almost crashes down around itself. ravage was not responsible for any of these events, but the timing of it is awful. you're telling me that the crew just passively accepted the fact that there is a "bad batch" of energon at swerves that knocks out everyone the instant they return to the lost light and ravage joins the crew? remember that the crew doesn't know the truth about brainstorm's timecase shenanigans. they believe that it's a bad engex batch at swerves that poisoned them. it would of been incredibly easy for people to point fingers at ravage.

it's just. so many events happen back to back and there is no suspicion on him? like. he Isn't Responsible. he isn't. but i feel like there should of been at least some sort of pushback from the crew. if they're upset with having megatron on their crew, then surely they'd also he upset that ravage was not only allowed to remain, but invited.

like im just! it's weird. it's weird to me.

Idea!

Rodimus while with the habit of shirking his captain duties is actually pretty proactive in taking care of his crew

Like he loves his found family obviously (knows everyone’s name even cause he’s THAT good) so like short of paperwork (the horror) he’s willing to do a lot to make them happy

For example, the medics have been complaining about the quality of their supplies and Roddy overhears (or heard through Drift) and strings are pulled and the next time they restock on supplies they’re hooked up with a different and probably better supplier

Or gossip around the bar says there’s this big racing event on Velocitron coming up and people were talking about how they wish they could watch (like they’ve haven’t seen a race since before the war or smt) and suddenly their next pit stop for energon is conveniently Velocitron within the timeframe of the event

Brainstorm needs a super specific mineral but it isn’t high priority so he doesn’t ask for it? Tracked down and included in their next supply list. Crosscut needs a custom set piece for his next play? Set up for him on his stage within a week. Blaster wants to start a radio show on the intership comms (because let’s be honest they don’t use it that much)? Approved and green lit (mayhaps behind Mags’ back but he won’t find out until too late)

At some point people do start noticing but no one really acknowledges it you know?

There is however a secret Rodimus appreciation club (secret because they’re afraid of what it’ll do to his ego if he knew) because if Rodimus is taking care of everyone else, there should be people taking care of him

The founder may or may not be Thunderclash and Drift may or may not be super salty about that fact

Roddy really does a lot for his crew he just hates paperwork. It makes him break out in a viral rash, literally. Ratchet has never seen anything like it lol

I say he makes it up to Magnus by getting him books and poetry artifacts because Magnus is into that kinda stuff. He also makes it up to Megatron by doing his shifts often just not the paperwork lol and by sneaking the mech some high quality high grade and home cooked fuel that he made personally. Roddy’s a great cook and mixologist its just the stuff he makes will sneak up on you and its heavy engenx not for the light weights lol

For Ratchet he gives him a full week off every month with Drift of course. He’s fine picking up the shifts because he gets something to do and socialize. He also makes sure he keeps a good stock of Perceptors favorite fuel since the mech is with Brainstorm all day.

He even makes sure Whirl gets to let his rage out on old equipment or things they need to get rid of. The mech is a lot less violent since allowed to have a rage room of sorts. In fact a lot of mechs are leas violent since Roddy put the rage room in. He thanks swerve for his service and the idea by having Blurr on the ship for a solid week.

No one went near Swerves hab but the occasional metal clangs told them he was getting lucky. That and Blurr leaving his personal comm with Swerve covered in blue paint.

Roddy definitely doesn’t need to know about his appreciation club. Definitely not.

They do all wonder why Soundwave of all mechs greets Rodimus at the vacation planet he was mysteriously given tickets to and why the mech has a servo on his lower back leading him somewhere private.

How do you think Cybertronians would react to human fights like these?

Bloody, bruised, scratched, bitten, battered etc.

I like to think that most Cybertronians will always see humans as animals with their animalictic instincs hidden deep inside only coming out when really needed. Cause you see when Cybertronians fight they usually just use their guns or fists or any tactical fight but that’s it from what i saw in comics and here you have humans who fight with everything they have , no tactic at all just using their natural weapons (teeth, nails) to inflict as much damage as possible until the other gives up or worse. Ends up fatal.

Overall i think Cybertronians would find this type of human fights very bizzare, unsettling and animalistic. The wild look in their eyes is what would usually get them to stop and think how can something so small and soft yet be so wild and violent. Maybe it would even make some bots understand why ,whatever god, made them small. Maybe after a bot witnessed such fight they would be glad humans aren’t as big as Cybertronians. Maybe it would change a bot’s whole mindset about humans being just cute little pets and that they are actualy very dangerous beings. And they don't even know about the adrenaline in humans.

Oh god and don’t get me even started about a mother bear protecting her child.

Ravage and Riptide Headcanons (2005 IDW, He/She pronouns for Ravage!)

(🫡, I actually have a lot of thoughts about these two, considering Riptide is one of the most notable characters Ravage interacts with in MTMTE. These two talk three times in MTMTE, which considering most of the rest of Rav's interactions are with Megatron, is actually pretty notable!)

The Lost Light was not the first place Ravage and Riptide met. Or rather, it was not the first time where Ravage saw Riptide personally. While the two have never properly fought each other, Ravage was present during the battle for which Riptide was made; the Simanzi Massacre. Ravage was on the field where Riptide made his first appearance and could tell Riptide was freshly made by his scent. Riptide was struggling against the overwhelming current of the Forced Flood when Ravage found him. While equipped with an aquatic alt-mode, his T-Cog was malfunctioning, leading to him not being able to transform. Hit with a rare twinge of sympathy (or perhaps pity, or something even crueler), Ravage leaves Riptide be. He could have killed Riptide there and rid the Autobots of one more soldier, but whatever his reasons, he chose not to.

Ravage does not see Riptide again until after the war ends and he is assigned to spy on Megatron by Soundwave. Before he is revealed to be a stowaway, Ravage does not spend much time watching or even considering Riptide. There were far bigger characters in play; such as Rodimus, Magnus, Ratchet, and Megatron himself. That does not mean he did not "check-in" on Riptide every once in a while, however. To sate his own curiosity and as a needed reprieve from the stuffy, tense atmosphere made by his assignment, Ravage occasionally sought Riptide out in secret. Watching him from the vents or in the shadows of other mechs, Riptide became Ravage's personal source of entertainment... not that Riptide knew about that. Riptide reminded him of Rumble and Frenzy in a way, and after spending so much time away from the twins, Riptide's similarities to them became a comfort.

Their "first" impressions of each other were not as pleasant, however. They do not meet properly until Ravage is revealed to be spying on the Lost Light crew and, once discovered, Ravage becomes aggressive out of self-defense. After he is shot and the crew board the split Lost Light, Riptide insults Ravage; criticizing his tracking skills when Ravage sniffed out Minimus Ambus after claiming to smell Ultra Magnus. When Ravage is proven to be correct in the end, as Minimus is Magnus, he does not let go of Riptide's quick dismissal of him easily. He insults Riptide later on ("I hate to spell out the obvious- though I am sure it happens to you a lot..."), and this bickering continues between them long after they have returned to their Lost Light.

Surprising them both, Ravage and Riptide's bickering turns into a tentative bond. Neither of them are entirely sure how or when it happens, but their bickering towards each other slowly morphs into a genuine bond. They start spending more time snarking at other people together, rather than at each other, and Ravage finds himself both confused and intrigued by Riptide's interest in him. Riptide is the only person onboard the Lost Light, save for perhaps Nautica, to show any interest in talking with him. Not only that, but Riptide is the only one who approaches him casually, without fear. He'd be insulted if he weren't starved of connection with other people. After four million years of being in constant close contact with other people, being removed from them has its consequences. With his dynamic with Megatron being strained and every other mech on the Lost Light regarding him with open distrust, Ravage finds connection where he can. Riptide becomes a source of comfort for Ravage, and he often seeks the mech out when the silence begins to sink in too deep and his ache for physical contact becomes too great. Riptide is genuine in the way he interacts with others, and Ravage, who has spent the last several months spinning his own cat's cradle of contingency plans, finds comfort in that genuineness. When life onboard the Lost Light becomes too much for either of them, Riptide sometimes takes Ravage to the oil reservoir and does laps in his alt-mode with Ravage on top. Both menaces at spark, they often end up pushing each other in on purpose.

Riptide values Ravage's patience in return. Despite Ravage's initial picking, she is patient with Riptide- more patient than a considerable portion of the Autobots, at the very least. She does not rush him to get out a thought or roll her optics when he does not catch onto something as fast as someone else. Ravage has spent her entire life being patient; waiting and observing for things to fall into place. She's not going to get huffy because she has to wait a few extra minutes for Riptide to get his thoughts together. As they get closer, Ravage begins to start snapping at others when they attempt to rush Riptide. She cites her own annoyance with the 'bots in question for it, but anyone paying attention can see she's got a soft spot.

When Riptide expresses his distrust of Megatron, Ravage is supportive. Not only is it good for her if the crew does not trust Megatron, as they are more likely to push against him and potentially tempt Megatron to leave, but she likes that Riptide has doubts. Ravage believes more 'bots should doubt their superiors. Doubt leads to knowledge-seeking, which is a quick slope into rebellion. When Riptide makes a throw-away comment about betting shanix against Megatron being truthful about being "reformed", Ravage praises him for being doubtful and being prepared for betrayal. She tells him that he should always question things around him, no matter how trusted or well-known they are. Ravage knew Megatron for over four million years, after all, and she never expected him to take up the red badge. Anything can happen, and Riptide needs to be ready for that.

Bitter irony. Ravage praises Riptide for being cautious, unknowing that Riptide himself was aligned with Getaway. Riptide wars between duty and guilt for a long time after, caught between telling Ravage of Getaway's plans and remaining silent. In the end, it is his own curiosity that makes the decision for him.

This friendship was not meant to last. Friendship is what Riptide believed it to be, though Ravage's feelings on the matter are much more complex. Eventually, Riptide breaks their fragile bond by asking if Ravage trusts him. The conversation did not start with that; he danced around it at first, asking about Megatron and Soundwave and the rest of the Lost Light. Riptide brings up a time when Ravage told him never to trust anyone fully, and that even those closest to you can turn. He asks if Ravage trusts anyone on the Lost Light, if she trusts Megatron, if she trusts Soundwave. Eventually, he asks if she trusts him. His being truthful about Getaway was dependent on her answer, but what he wasn't expecting was for Ravage to ask him if he trusted her. A moment of silence passes between them. Neither could bring themselves to answer, which was enough of an answer in itself. Ravage is the one who ultimately ends the conversation; turning her back to Riptide and walking away with little more than, "… It is best if we leave it at that, then." This is the last time Riptide and Ravage see each other, and the last time they speak before the DotL.

so poor Magnus and Rachet are worried when he doesn't eat like everyone else does and that he may have disordered eating again- knowing it was an issue for him in his human era- so they get Rung to help with an intervention

none of them consider oh, you have the planet eating thing and can be fine for a while until Starry is standing in front of them, mildly annoyed he has to remind them
