A fun, happy dc story for a change
Look I can be very critical of Winick's writing because I'm so ambivalent about it but damn if it isn't, on a meta level, a really satisfying spite story.
At the core of this story, there is Jim Starlin. Now Starlin's writing has many flaws, not least of all the blatant racism and sexism. And if there's one thing Jim hates, it's Robin. He wants to kill that little boy so bad, oh how he hates that bright coloured child in tights that's just holding Batman back from reaching his true potential as an absolute badass... And hey, good news! Dc, in trying to bring a second Robin after the first got a new identity, has dropped the ball, and the new boy is unpopular amongst the fans who miss the previous iteration! This is his opportunity to kill Robin, definitely!
But how? People may not have voted him dead yet, but Jim is already planning, setting up plots and trying his damndest to get him killed. And the thing about Jim- the thing that makes him a good writer, you see, the thing that separates him from those losers who fail to see Batman's true potential, is that his writing is gritty. He's not afraid to write a true dark knight facing the grimdark horrors of a town laden with crime, to shy away from the real dark, gritty topic that are mature and dark like rape. And uh, sexual violence against women. And uh, serial raping and killing women. (I'm kidding, of course, I didn't forget the native american cult leader who bathes in blood to prolongate his life. Or about the kgb agent Batman straight-up kills after he tries to kill Reagan. Or about the suicides, god I haven't forgotten about that. Don't worry.) But anyway, sexual abuse in general is a big theme for Jim. It shows how serious and dark and gritty he can be. So he has an idea: why not make Robin a child sexual abuse victim and give him AIDS? That way that's a justification to write Robin unlikeable (by making him emotional when exposed to situations of sexual abuse, unable to restrain his anger when defending a prostitute...) and at the same time it's the perfect way to kill Robin! DC has been considering giving a character AIDS, it's perfect! It will show everyone how dark and gritty Jim's writing is, he can make Robin even more unlikeable on top of how people are upset about the transition between Robins, and then he can finally kill Robin! It's perfect! Jim is a genius!!!
Now, of course, we know that plan failed: first because dc rejected Starlin's idea for Jason to die of AIDS, and second because as soon as Jason (as a character, which is what DC apparently had a problem with) died, they fired Starlin as a Batman writer and introduced a new Robin, making Starlin's vehement campaign against a fictional fifteen years old completely vain.
So that's it, right? Crisis avoided, we almost had some even worst writing that what already was, everyone sigh in relief and go home?
Enter Judd Winick stage left.
Now, remember how DC wanted to give a character AIDS? In 2003, Green Arrow #43 reveals that Mia Dearden, Oliver Queen's ward and a csa survivor of underage prostitution, is HIV positive, and in #45, she takes on the mantle of the second Speedy, becoming, according to Wikipedia, the most prominent HIV-positive superhero to star in an ongoing comic book. (And also one of my favourite comics characters, but that's unrelated.) An important thing about Winick, who wrote those issues, is that he is personally invested in education about AIDS, continuing his friend Pedro Zamora's educational work after his death of AIDS-related progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy. (He also wrote a graphic novel about it, called Pedro and Me: Friendship, Loss and What I've Learned). So kudos! We finally got someone who has done research and actually holds respect for HIV+ people writing HIV+ characters. And Mia is so cool, man- but not only is she a really interesting character, she is, first and foremost, a survivor. That's how she characterizes herself, sees what happened to her: she did what she had to do to survive, and now she's a fucking superhero and she's here to help others and you know what she's not gonna do? Die "of AIDS."
Yeah, I haven't forgotten Starlin's terrible writing. And, if Winick's writing is any identification, it seems like he hasn't either. The idea of making the second Speedy a parallel with the second Robin isn't groundbreaking, but it's cool that it's there (and also, incidentally, a reminder that parallels are interesting and fun and backstories are not a finite resource characters can run out of or steal from eachother.) Anyway, this includes Winick altering Mia's backstory and making her a street kid to make it more similar to Jason's, as well as Mia's on-screen murder offering a nice parallel to Jason's ambiguous murder in Starlin's Diplomat Son (a parallel I can't help but regard with vindicative snark, because that's how you handle a teenager who has just caused, directly or not, a man's death out of hopelessness in a situation that felt impossible. A little snark of See? Now this is how it's done. Yeah, Starlin's Bruce isn't winning any parenting against Winick's Ollie, that's for sure.) So there it is! Our fun spite story, Winick taking on Starlin's terrible ideas, a teen vigilante and survivor taking on a hero identity to mirror a teen vigilant's loss and death, a good old fashioned schooling. Cool? Cool!
And then, in 2005, Winick buries Starlin's last remaining impact on DC by bringing back Jason Todd, in a move so audacious in the back-then landscape it would be kinda akin to bringing Ben Parker back to life in Spiderman's life as a villain (please don't tell me this happens in the comics I don't read Marvel and if someone wrote that I would honestly prefer not to know). Now, of course, the impact of Jason's death on the narrative can't and shouldn't be undone by that move, but that's not important, because that's not what Starlin wanted when killing Jason - he wanted to kill Jason/Robin, not give everyone grief-induced hallucinations where Jason/Robin had an incredibly salient place in the narrative, so he didn't get what he wanted anyway.
Personally, my view on Winick's writing of Jason is contrasted (and the fact that there are some elements of Starlin's characterization of Jason that I prefer to Winick's deeply amazes me, incredibly ironic situation. Which only serves to point that even Starlin' goal of making us hate his version of robin failed drastically, as me and my jaybin fan mutuals can attest. Sucks to suck!). But as much as some of the decisions frustrate me, do you understand how much of a power move it is to take this child, this victim who has been victim-blamed for years, and bring him back to life with a vengeance and a demand that his life mattered, that his death was a bad thing that shouldn't be tolerated? Do you know how good that story feels, especially to victims when reading it and see that indignation validated, that rebellion against the status quo and victim-blaming, how good it feels to see a "bad victim" that refuses to stay down ? And in the context of Starlin's intent to write Jason a CSA victim, Winick writing Mia, the HIV+ plot for them both- do you understand the genuine and violent glee I feel, that it's Winick that wrote Jason coming back to life and hunting down the narrative with a machine gun?
So yeah. This is the context in which I talk about acknowledging the csa subtext in Green Arrow: Seeing Red, but this post isn't about lecturing you to accept it as canon or imply that you're bad for not sharing that interpretation. It's about spite -towards Jim Starlin specifically. And it's about that interpretation, but the context in which it was written in general, is not just a victory against Starlin, that guy lost long ago, but the narrative equivalent of that Green Arrow meme about taking a funny selfie over a gravestone. In Seeing Red (specifically in the line that's discussed when questioning the csa headcanon), Jason tells Mia they are similar because of what they had to do to survive, framing the sexual trauma on Mia's part (and thus allegedly also on Jason's) again firmly on the side of survival rather than victimhood. Whether it's by becoming a villain or a hero, there's this rebellion against being an object to the violence, which is at the core of Starlin's treatment of sexual violence. This is fun. We're having fun. I'm repeating myself, but do you understand how satisfying, electrifying it is? I'm filled with unreasonable amounts of glee. You don't always need the context in which a story was written to enjoy it but in this case, doesn't this make it so much more enjoyable? (And on top of that, kudos to Winick for killing Captain Nazi, I hope it was as satisfying to write as it looked.) Anyway, Mia Dearden and Jason Todd, the characters that you are. I love them so much.

AU: Dukes got a strange new teacher, Jason has a weird neighbour, Dick helped a poor civillian with two broken legs, and Tim's got a bad feeling about the knew Wayne Enterprises employee. Who knew they'd turn out to be the same person? Or... Dannys stuck in Gotham, how, why, when? To be confirmed, although, he's positive its something to do with a certain time-turning asshole. But now he's got bats on his tail and a serious case of the munchies. Good thing Sam and Tucker learned early on to slap a tracker on his phone.
----
Smol Teaser
Dick stumbled forwards, chain rattling around his foot as it pulled taunt. He hit the deck.
“No!”
Duke closed his eyes – and for a moment, he wondered what it would’ve been like if he’d just stayed home like he’d planned to – as Danny descended, mouth split into a feral smile and scythe in motion.
Then, “Bang!”
Dukes’ ears screamed as something exploded, a sonic boom erupting somewhere to his right. A fiery green blast flashed through the air, smacking into Danny like a sledgehammer and sending him hurtling into the concrete pillar in a blast of dust and debris.
Duke took in a sharp breath, eyes fettering over where the teacher landed. His eyes locked on Dick, who was staring over his shoulder from his place on the floor.
“Ha! Bullseye!” Duke startled at the voice and whipped to his right. “I am literally a God.”
Had he been transported to Men in Black right now? Because there was no other explanation for what this was right now. The owner of the voice was a young African American, with neat cornrows and dressed in a suit straight out of MIB, save for the sunglasses which were substituted for a slick pair of black framed glasses.
With a huff, the newcomer hefted an enormous smoking bazooka to rest between his shoulder blade and collarbone. He looked over the room with a grin. “Worry not ladies, knight with shining armour reporting for duty.” He proclaimed with a cheeky grin and a wink, patting the weapon’s steel side fondly, “No, need to thank me. Just doing my job.”
There was a click, and the stranger froze, “Who in the hell are you?” Jason growled through his modulator, stepping out of the shadows to the left of new guy, pistol aimed for a head shot.
The stranger’s eyes slid, acknowledging Jason’s gun from his peripheral. “Sure…” He drawled cautiously, ‘shoot the man with the bazooka. Do it.”
Jason pulled out his second gun. Head titling in challenge.
New guy grinned. “Geez, calm your tits. Names Foley, Tucker Foley.” He reached into his blazer pocket, pulling out a badge. “FBI”
The FBI?
Jason lowered his pistols. “The fuck is the FBI doing in Gotham?” Duke would like to know the same thing.
Tucker shrugged, “Shits and gigs” he said, dropping the bazooka from his shoulder, and catching its nose on his foot before he propped it up against the closest wall. He swivelled, jabbing a finger over at the downed spectre. “Mostly that troublemaker though. Do you mind if I–actually, why am I even asking you?” He stalked over to the cracked concrete pillar and jabbed at foot at Dukes downed teacher, shifting his lifeless body “Oi, Danny.”
Duke didn’t know how to break the news. “Um, Mr. Foley? He’s not–Well, he was killed by something, we don’t know what exactly. I don’t think he’s–yeah…Sorry.” Ever so eloquently put.
Tucker raised a brow, “Are you trying to tell me he’s dead?”
Duke resisted the urge to point out that this Tucker guy did actually shoot him into the wall with a bazooka. He was dead before anyway, but still.
“Obviously,” Jason grumbled, crossing his arms. “Some occult thing.”
“Right.” Tucker’s face twisted into a slight frown, and he nudged the body again. “Danny, stop foxing and get up.”
There was a groan and Duke took an involuntary step back.
Tucker prodded Danny again. “C’mon, up and at ‘em.”
“5 more minutes.” Danny rolled over onto his side. “M’kay?”
Dick’s mouth was wide open at the scene. “Are you serious right now?”
Danny popped his head up, hair and face covered in dust, his eyes narrowed. “You’d think coming at them with a scythe would scare them off, right Tuck?”
“I told you it wasn’t going to work.” A feminine voice came from the doorway, and a woman stepped into the room. “But please, feel free to be disappointed.” She was dressed in back cargo pants, and a cropped purple tee, dark hair neatly braided down her back. She leaned against the door, “You missed our anniversary.” She said pointedly towards Danny.
Danny dropped his head back to the floor. “Can we go back to when I was just a lifeless corpse?”
Tucker gwuaffed. “You’re already a lifeless corpse, there’s nothing to go back to, stupid."

Hello everyone! I wasn't planning on posting a new au idea so soon (since I'm trying to finish up the next chapter of "What to do when an Eldritch God Decides That You're Friend-Shaped" 😅), but this au idea formed while I was watching "The Nightmare Begins" (the season 2 ep where Morgana first discovers her magic and goes to the druids, only to see them slaughtered) and it decided to derail my writing schedule. With some encouragement from the amazing artist and writer @guiltyscarlet, this au was born! I hope you all enjoy!
In this au, Merlin tells Morgana about his own magic during "The Nightmare Begins", so Merlin doesn't send her to the druids for help. He offers to help her learn about her own magic and control it, and she's just so relieved to have someone who understands. Morgana is heartbreakingly scared throughout the entire episode, so having Merlin there to fully support her and offer her genuine help with hiding her powers is life-changing for her. She essentially gets the same wisdom from Merlin as she would have from the druids: that magic is beautiful and not something to fear.
Merlin and Morgana spend the next few months growing closer (much to Arthur's horror, as he interprets it as them being romantically involved). Morgana swiftly gains control over her own powers, and she practices spells with Merlin. Both of them are just so happy to have someone who understands, a friend that they don't have to hide from or fear! They essentially become each other's comfort person.
But despite Merlin's insistence that things will become better once Arthur is king, that they just have to wait and have patience and everything will turn out fine, Morgana isn't so sure. Merlin is her dear friend, but she cannot buy into his "hope for the future and work from the background" mentality. No, Morgana knows that change will only come from action, action that Merlin is too kind, too caring to take. Morgana would never begrudge Merlin for his own kind heart, it is what makes him who he is after all, but she simply cannot show mercy to Uther as Merlin has done.
However, after a few months, Morgause comes to town. While Morgana's nightmares had become much more manageable with Merlin's help, they still hadn't ceased entirely. So, when Morgause gave her the healing bracelet that made them stop completely, Morgana believed that she had found another person like Merlin: someone who understood her and could support her!
So when Morgause sent her a message to meet in the woods, Morgana of course accepted. Now she could have two people to share her gifts with! And even better, Morgause wants to take action against Uther! They can work together to bring about Uther's downfall, and kind, caring magic users like Merlin all over Camelot will be safe from his cruelty and madness! It's perfect... up until the part where Morgause tries to take Camelot by force with a sleeping spell and the knights of Medhir, prepared to kill anyone who stands against her, magic user or not. This, this was not the grand liberation of Camelot that Morgana had been promised!
In the end, Merlin convinces Morgana herself to stand against Morgause and force her to lift the sleeping spell, but when Morgause still begs Morgana to come with her, Morgana tearfully tells Merlin that she appreciates all that he's done for her, but she needs to get away from Camelot, away from Uther. To Morgana, going with Morgause is the only way to save Camelot from Uther, as she could learn from Morgause and focus her attacks on Uther, thereby saving all of the magic users in Camelot, including Merlin himself.
Merlin had risked his life to save her, now she was going to return the favor. This was the only way.
Merlin begs her to reconsider, to at least not go with Morgause of all people, but Morgana won't listen. She has to do this, for all of their sakes. She takes Morgause's hand, and they both disappear.
From there, Morgana and Morgause spend a year travelling around while Morgause trains her in the ways of the Priestesses of the Old Religion. Morgana makes quick progress, and her magic becomes formidable in no time. After a year, Morgana plants herself in the woods to be "discovered" by the knights of Camelot and makes her grand homecoming to Camelot. In contrast to canon, this time when Morgana returns to Camelot, she's genuinely glad to see Merlin again.
After her return, she quickly pulls Merlin aside and, after they spend the evening catching up and expressing how glad they both are that the other is alright after a year apart, Morgana tells Merlin of her plans with Morgause and Cenred, as she doesn't want him to get hurt in the crossfire. Merlin is horrified at the plan, even though Morgana emphasizes that Cenred's soldiers are under strict orders not to harm civilians and to prioritize killing Uther. Merlin, of course, protests her plans, but Morgana shuts him down. Despite their now slightly tense situation, Merlin reiterates his vow that, no matter what, he will never tell a soul about Morgana's magic, and Morgana swears the same to him.
Season three goes much the same way, except Morgana never targets Arthur or Gwen and Merlin never tries to kill Morgana on Kilgharrah's orders. Morgana instead trips on her own, leading to a head injury that Merlin heals with a spell that he forced from Kilgharrah, and the whole "Uther is Morgana's father reveal" happens the same way. This time, Morgana also knows that Merlin went out of his way to save her life with his magic, which only reinforces her belief that Merlin is too kind to do what needs to be done and will get himself killed if Uther is allowed to live.
During Morgana's takeover of Camelot with Morgause's immortal army in the season 3 finale, Morgana doesn't kill civilians and also tries to get Merlin on her side. Her recruitment pitch to Merlin was essentially was something along the lines of "hey, now that I'm in charge, nice magic users like you can be protected! Your kindness inspired me to do this so you and others like you don't have to be afraid anymore! Join me and you can spend the rest of your life using your magic to make flowers bloom and heal people, all of the things you said magic should be used for! :D You just need to ditch Arthur."
And that doesn't reassure Merlin, who's been sold on Arthur's eventual golden reign for years now, one bit. If anything, Merlin feels guilty, as Morgana had taken over Camelot by force and become this hardened version of herself in part because of him.
When Merlin tries to point out how Morgana's takeover and her methods of ruling were scaring people rather than making them feel safer, Morgana used that argument against him, telling Merlin how he could use his kind heart to advise her on ways to make the people of Camelot feel safer and more accepting of magic if he only joined her. Morgana wanted him as one of her chief advisors, right next to Morgause. Morgana already had Morgause to tell her when she needed to be harsher, and now she could have Merlin to tell her when she needed to be softer.
Merlin, however, still rejects her offer, but Morgana isn't surprised. She knows that Merlin's ultimate loyalty lies with Arthur, and once again, she will not begrudge him for that. From there, Merlin manages to escape and meets back up with Arthur, and the round table is formed as per usual. But, before Merlin escaped, Morgana asked him if, after all of this, they could still be friends. Merlin replied that yes, they could.
In this au, Morgause wasn't injured when Merlin struck the cup of life, so Morgana and a healthy Morgause escape together to plot more ways to conquer Camelot, and Merlin still tries to stop them at every turn. While he infuriates Morgause, he and Morgana almost start to see it as a friendly rivalry between the two of them.
I'd imagine that this au has a pretty happy ending, with Arthur and Morgana being able to have a reconciliation or perhaps even bonding over wanting to protect Merlin! Or maybe they have a sibling rivalry to see who can be the better friend to Merlin lol!
And that's all for this au for now! Let me know if you'd like a to see a continuation of this au! A big thank you again to @guiltyscarlet for your support! I'd encourage everyone to go check out their Merlin art!
And, as always, thank you for reading through my ramblings! :D

Omg ! I didn't think you'd actually respond !! We're gonna fly away from here is easily one of the best ones in the series!! It's so Twisted and disturbing but almost domestic... (Also tysm for including my name idea in your story, Idk where it came from, I just liked it and I appreciate you!) I digress. I've returned with a concept. Al almost always has a plan when he does something. I don't know where you want to go with the second child but this won't be too focused on that one...for now. I really liked how you interpreted Alastor being a weasel and weaseling his way back into the families life and was thinking about how many I wonder about if he has a plan right now, like not a long term one, obviously, but a very specific one for a 'short term'. Women back then, especially in the south weren't allowed to have bank accounts so finicial trapping works well in this case. Also just kinda the ability to turn their kids against her would be enough to terify me. People talk about the 1950's housewife, but oh my god, 1920's housewives were a new kind of depressed. I, personally, don't think Alastor is the type of physically abuse women. No, he's far too classy for that. Instead, like I said, I think he'd either use his status in their house to trap his wife. We were able to run away while we were pregnant and alone, but we have a child now...and would we be willing to leave our child with him? No, I don't think I would, personally. This was just me rambling. K, love u, currently hyperfixated on this au. Byeee !!!! _ Cherry Anon!
DON’T REALLY WANT NO TRUST FUND BABY
[before reading this, read the rest of the story!]
— seems as if alastor found out your little secret
— UR TOO SWEET I SC THIS ON MY IG STORY AND YAPPED TO MY BOY BSF FOR AN HOUR AB IT IM BLUSHING SO HARDDDD!! ABUSE WAS LIT MY LAST SOCIAL STUDIES LESSON FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR MY TCH YAPPED AB FINANCE SO HARD 🤭🤭
being married to alastor, the radio show host is quite the sensation in your town. but, behind the closed curtains, alastor did things that would’ve made lucifer shake in his boots.
no, he didn’t hit you. his mother would kill him if he hit his wife. but, just because alastor never hit you, didn’t mean he didn’t abuse you.
he tormented you in the worst way possible, through noah. and now, emilia.
it’s been 3 years. your little emilia lives up to her name, a cute little girl who’s eager to win. and, little noah is now a big boy, double digits and all.
and, since you’ve returned back to his house, alastor has done nothing but twist your babies’ minds. ‘once upon a time, mama wanted to run away from daddy… so, she ran away and took big brother with her. daddy was sooo worried for mama and big brother though… daddy was able to track mama down, and took her home!’ he cooed to your daughter, bouncing her in his arms— with you right beside him!
you wanted to yell; scream. of course, emilia was too young to understand what alastor was saying. but, still— the fact that he was trying to tell your children that he was some sort of white knight who saved you from yourself. you wanted nothing less, but to snap that neck of his like a twig.
you really shouldn’t act so brashly though. to outsmart alastor, you have to think like him. think of what’s smarter in long run.
alastor was ‘kind’ enough to give you an allowance. $200 every week for groceries and whatever you may need. he’s even so kind as to let you have some ‘private bonding’ with noah and emilia as they accompany you to the farmer’s market.
thankfully, you had a father who wanted to make his little girl survived even without a husband. and so, you had to hear all of his ramblings about finance. saving about 45% each week for 3 years… was about $14,000!
if you saved just a little more, you’d be semi-financially independent until you can get a proper job to take care of your children. it was run-away money, so to speak.
you hid the money in noah’s room. after all, who would expect money there? especially $14,000? and, it worked, for a while. every monday, while you tucked him into bed, you brought the money with you and hid it behind his dresser.
until, what had seemed like a normal tuesday. you came home from the tailor’s, getting back a dress that noah accidentally tore. when you came home, it was only two hours after noon. and despite that, alastor was home.
“a-alastor..! what are you doing home so early? you have a broadcast in 2 hours…” you narrowed your eyes at alastor, on the floor with your children, many new toys surrounding them. “ah, darling! i decided to pick up our children early, and we may have splurged on our little shopping spree…” he smugly grinned. “oh..? where’d you get the money?” you raised your eyebrow, closing the door and laying your bearings on the dining table.
“funniest story ever, my love! there was a random stash of money in noah’s room! seems as if the tooth fairy came early!” he laughed. random stash of money in noah’s room..? “oh. i see.” your breath stopped for a minute, thinking of what kind of consequences could come from it.
“do you have any idea how that money landed there?” he side-eyed you, expecting a lie. “perhaps it was from the old owners? you know this house, there’s so many secrets in here.” you said. “i see… i suppose you are right, darling!” he giggled.
you were back on square one. financially dependent on your husband, if you could even call him ‘husband’. as you climbed up the stairs, you heard alastor whisper to your son. “you see that? momma lied. she got less talkative when papa asked her a question.”
this is what alastor’s been teaching your son. as much as you want to protest, you did lie.
oh, how much you wished for much more simpler times. playing with your baby boy in the kitchen as you make little treats together for his snack at school. and now, the boy alastor’s turning him into— a cunning sociopath, the lord only knows what he will teach your daughter.
this is just a minor setback, it has to be.

Siren Scaramouche x partially deaf gn reader
Word count: 686 (short one..)
Genre: Fluff
Warnings: None!!
Pronouns: You/Yours, reader can be any gender (meant to be gender neutral!!)
Loving waves
Siren! Scaramouche who was known in the underwater world as the most majestic siren out of all.
His voice was such a lulling song so much so that anyone who gave him their listening ear couldn't help but be entranced.
And how shocked he was when he met a person he couldn't lure in.
He began to only think about them, at first planning on how to kill them because he wouldn't let someone he choose to lure in and kill survive, due to his ego, but that began to turn into a genuine interest a few weeks later.
Without thinking about it, Scaramouche had spent hours just staring at you, he wouldn't say it's admiring of course.
It has become a routine at this point, you'd go work outside, maybe take a walk and he'd just stare at you, gazing longingly at your features from afar.
The way you two met would be as if it was straight out of a fairy tale, he'd get caught up in a fishing web, and you'd be his knight in shining armor!!
Him, being a siren, is seen as a terrifying being, a coldblooded murderer, but to you he was such a majestic being, if you were more naive you'd think he was a God (in which case, he wouldn't complain!!)
Everyday since you had saved him, you started to visit him. You brought little trinkets from your home, and he brought you a few shells. (sometimes that is, if you're lucky!!) Might I add, the shells he gifted you were like no other. They range in colors and shapes, not even the most avid collecters saw the shells he had given you.
He enjoyed spending time with you, more than he thought he would. He has gotten used to being alone, so a daily presence in his life was something unusual.
He'd let you touch his tail, his face turning pink as you compliment him. Your fingers on his tail, lightly caressing his scales. He couldn't help but look away as you admired him. If anyone else had requested to touch his tail, he'd plan a new song just for them, ...let's ignore the fact he offered to let you touch his tail, that's an unimportant detail.
One of the things he loved, ahem... liked most about you is the gentleness your eyes hold. He has gotten so used to the trashing waves of hatred in the mankinds eyes, but to see one's with calming flowing water? He could and would get lost in that body of water, no hesitation, of course he wouldn't tell you that though!
He wanted to listeh to you all day, anyone who said his voice was enchanting has never heard yours. Although you sometimes slur your words, stutter and at times get too loud, he loves that about you.
At times he wished you were a siren too, how beautiful would you look under the waters light he wonders. How would your tail sway in the oceans, rivers and seas?
One time, you asked him whether or not he can sing without indangering someone, he had never thought about that. Well of course he's not gonna risk losing his only love to find out, but that's a story for another day.
A few things I can definitely see him doing is;
Giving you his scales! He could tell how you always admired his tail, your eyes glowing at how his tail would practically shine under the Suns light. One night, he'd pluck a scale out, later in the say give it to you, saying: "It had accidentally fallen out, here. Don't think for a second I pulled it out for you." All while looking away, trying to look as non-chalant as possible while.. panicking inside over your reaction.
This might seem cruel, but he'd sing to insects, without the intention of killing them, to see if he can sing to you without putting you in danger.
He'd look around the seas floor for hours to find a shell that you'd like!! (.. you like everything he gives you so that's... pointless..)
AND THAT'S ALL I HAVE ON SIREN SCARA!!! :DD I HOPE I SATISFIED YOUR REQUEST POOKIE!!! (hope i did the hc format right..............

The Kirby Rant That You All Wanted So Much™
I’m gonna give you all a little plan of what’s gonna happen :
1. The overview of the main games (+1)
1.1. The copy abilities
1.2.1. The bosses
1.2.2. The Soul bosses
1.3. The Star Allies
1.4. The ancients
2. The music
3. The modern era’s themes
4. Anecdotes
Know that once you click on read more,
My one and only Kirby headcanon is that Sectonia is transgender.
So I guess I’m gonna start at the beginning, Kirby’s Dreamland. It’s a simple game with some of the gameplay staples already present, walking, running, inhaling, spitting, swallowing and floating. Recurring bosses also appear for the first time here, with Whispy Woods (a tree), Kracko (where there is a sky, there is a Kracko), and King DeDeDe (technically the only time he’s a final boss) It also has the Extra Mode. There really isn’t much to add, just that it’s a simple game.
Next is Kirby’s Adventure, the first game with copy abilities, making swallow go from almost useless to extremely important. It also adds a new character, Meta Knight, who at that time is neither protagonist nor antagonist.
Now begins the Dark Matter Trilogy, which is something that shaped the rest of the series. Meta Knight does not appear within the trilogy.
The first game of that trilogy is Kirby’s Dreamland 2, which introduces Dark Matter as a whole, specifically Dark Matter Blade (yes that’s its official name). That game also introduces two concepts. The first one is the concept of bad end, which is exclusive to the Dark Matter Trilogy, and happens when you don’t collect every main collectible and locks you out of the true final boss and gives you a teaser of said boss. The second one comes back out of the DMT and it is the concept of final transformation. In this game, the final transformation is the rainbow sword. Also, animal friends first appear here, and those are the most well known, Rick, Kine and Coo.
(Kirby super star came out here, I’ll talk about it when super star ultra though)
The second game of the DMT is Kirby’s Dreamland 3, with other, new and more numerous animal friends, I unfortunately do not know their names (except Chu-Chu) and honestly can’t be bothered to look them up. The final transformation is the Love-Love stick and the true final boss is Dark Matter (singular entity) followed up by Zero (an eyeball). Zero is the boss that makes people say "Kirby isn’t for kids". Also there’s a boss named Ado here.
The third and final game of the trilogy is Kirby’s Crystal Shards, with the first of two occurrences of copy ability combination and also the second appearance of Ado, which now takes the name Adeleine (the name didn’t change in Japanese, this is how we know they’re the same). The eponymous crystal shards are the collectible of the game and allow to unlock Ribbon’s Crystal and the fight against Zero Two.
Now comes what I like to call “The Drought”, it contains either weird games, spin offs or remakes.
And first off, a remake of Kirby’s adventure, Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland. The only difference is that Extra Mode is replaced by Meta Knightmare (you play as Meta Knight).
Alright I’m not going to talk about it but this is when Kirby Air Ride came out.
Now comes Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, which is confusing both in gameplay and in lore; and misleading in its title. The French title is better, it’s “Kirby and the Labyrinth of Mirrors” and that’s what it is, a labyrinth of mirrors. One of the few times King DeDeDe doesn’t appear anywhere in the games. The final copy ability is Master (it’s Galaxia but it didn’t have that name at the time) and the final boss is Dark Mind.
Here comes the weirdest of all, Kirby Squeak Squad, the game that started the joke of “Kirby kills gods over cake”. Forced to tell you the story here, Daroach steals cake from Kirby and puts it in a chest but there’s another chest that contains Dark Nebula and Daroach picks up the wrong chest. Shenanigans happen and Dark Nebula is killed by Kirby using the Triple Star copy ability (Mjolnir that can also do fire and ice). Also, copy ability fusion appears here too, for some reason. I’ll ignore them though, because the requirements are different than usual (I remembered them too late for that).
First, I’ll talk of the things that are common in the two games (except for the sub-games). There are the helpers, which can be summoned if Kirby has a copy ability that isn’t Crash, Paint or Sleep (the first two are screen wipers and therefore single-use and the third is Sleep, which doesn’t do anything) and serve as a player two.
Let’s talk about the Kirby Super Star Ultra sub-games in two parts :
First, Super Star :
The first I’m going to talk about is Spring breeze, a remake of the first game. Nothing to be added here except that it must be completed to unlock the rest.
Next is Dyna Blade, which plays like a normal Kirby game and the final boss is Dyna Blade.
Then, it’s Gourmet Race, one of the three most well known sub-games, where you race against DeDeDe to get the most food and finish first.
Up next is The Great Cave Offensive, where you try to get out of said cave while gathering as much treasure as you can.
After finishing Dyna Blade, you unlock one of the two big sub-games, The Revenge of Meta Knight, where Kirby must destroy the Halberd to prevent the invasion of Dreamland by Meta Knight and his crew. The final boss is Meta Knight (how surprising). Note that this means that the Halberd was destroyed prior to Kirby’s Dreamland 3.
After clearing all previous sub-games, you unlock the second big sub-game, Milky Way Wishes. It has no original bosses on the main planets. On the original bosses however, there is a lot of lore that becomes important later. It’s also half the reason everybody thinks the cute helper in Kirby will betray you (only happened twice). There is a gimmick in this sub-game; it’s that swallowing enemies does not give you a copy ability. Instead, you must find Copy Essences Deluxe; with the notable exceptions of Crash, Sleep and Paint. The penultimate boss is Galactic Nova and it is where the final ability, Starship, is found. The final boss is Marx (Max in Europe for… communist reasons).
After clearing the last sub-game, you gain access to the Arena. Which is a boss rush, not much to add.
There are two mini-games in this game, Samurai Kirby, a test of reflexes, and Megaton Punch, which is where the picture with cracked Popstar comes from.
Now Super Star Ultra (all previous sub-games return), which will be split in two parts :
First, what changed :
Cutscenes are in 3D; Spring Breeze is easier on the first playthrough; there is a dialogue between Meta Knight and his crew towards the end of The Revenge of Meta Knight; and the bosses in Milky Way Wishes have design changes.
Now the brand new sub-games :
There are three new mini-games, Kirby Card Swipe, where you must tap on the correct card first, Kirby on the Draw, where you must tap the target to shoot them, and Snack Tracks, where you must remove obstacles but not the food.
After beating 13 bosses in the Arena, you unlock Helper to Hero, which is a boss rush except that you don’t play as Kirby but as a Helper and the last boss isn’t Marx but Wham Bam Jewel, which is a harder version of Wham Bam Rock.
Next is Revenge of the King, which is the Extra Mode of Spring Breeze and is unlocked by finishing Milky Way Wishes. If you think it sounds like Revenge of Meta Knight, you’d be right; DeDeDe even gives Kirby a hammer at the end, that’s how far the parallels go. You fight harder versions of the bosses (the revenge versions). The final boss is Masked DeDeDe and his now iconic theme.
After finishing Revenge of the King, you unlock Meta Knightmare Ultra. In this game mode, you play as Meta Knight through all the game modes except Revenge of the King. Also, Marx, Meta Knight and Galactic Nova aren’t fought in there however you fight the horror, the Dark Souls boss of Kirby, Galacta Knight.
After clearing everything, you unlock the True Arena, where you fight all the hardest bosses and the true final boss, Marx Soul.
Alright, we’re done with the drought. It might look full, but reminder that the biggest part is a remake. Now begins the Modern Era, which take parts of a cancelled game, Kirby GCN. Each game has a gimmick.
To start off the era, the game that brought back Kirby, Kirby’s Return to Dreamland (and its remake). This game’s gimmick is the Super Abilities, which are transformations that make you feel like god. There are 4 important game modes in the original and 5 important game modes in the remake. The first game mode that you can play is the Main Mode, which is just playing through the game normally, the final copy ability is Landia and make you fight the penultimate boss, Lor and Magolor. The final boss is Magolor, the second half of the fucking joke that only ever happened twice. The second game mode you should play through is the Arena, which is the now usual boss rush. Now here’s the interesting thing, the Extra Mode is the canon mode in this game because the remake has a cinematic that shows us that Magolor Soul is the canon final boss in the Magolor Epilogue (which is unlocked after clearing the Extra Mode). The Extra Mode is also more interesting in terms of lore. The Magolor Epilogue is a mode in which you play as Magolor and try to recover your full power. Finally, you unlock the True Arena, where you fight all the hardest bosses (the epilogue’s bosses are present in the remake) plus Galacta Knight (still the Dark Souls boss of Kirby and the dodge is shit).
Then came out Kirby Triple Deluxe, which I think is a starting point for a lot of people. This game’s gimmick is the Supernova transformation, which makes you feel like god. There are, once again, 4 important game modes. The Main Mode is where you go through the game normally, there is however no final copy ability, instead you fight Sectonia’s final form with Supernova. The second game mode you should play is the Arena (I won’t present it anymore). Then you should play through DeDeDetour! which is like Metaknightmare but with DeDeDe instead. The final boss of this mode (and the reason I even talked of The Amazing Mirror) is Dark Meta Knight’s Revenge (and one of three occurrences of blood in the modern era), but not before having fought Dark DeDeDe. Finally, you unlock the True Arena, with Sectonia Soul as true final boss.
Next came out Kirby Planet Robobot (peak 2D Kirby in my opinion, it is however an opinion). I’m gonna let you guess how many important game modes there are. The first one is the Main Mode, with Star Dream as a final boss (note that it looks like Galactic Nova) with the final copy ability being the Halberd. After that, the usual Arena. Then you should play Meta Knightmare Returns and oh boy is this the reason that the True Arena is so hard in this game. The final boss is a succession of bosses (nothing new) however there are more bosses than ever (see: Bosses section) and the final boss is Galacta Knight Returns. After all that, you get the True Arena, with the final boss being Star Dream Soul OS (the second occurence of blood in the modern era), which is a rare occurence of the final transformation being used in both Arenas.
Then came out Kirby Star Allies. The gimmicks here are the Star Allies and the Allies Power (such as the Friends Wheel). It’s also the second occurence of copy ability combination. The game doesn’t have the same four important game modes (though there are four important game modes). The first is the Story Mode, where the final boss is Void Termina and the final copy ability is Star Allies Sprinkler. Then comes the Ultimate Choice where the levels 1-5 are unlocked by finishing the Main Mode (note that this is this game’s version of the Arena, it is however very weird and I will only talk of levels 8 and 9). Then you should play Guest Star ???? Star Allies Go, where the true final boss is Galacta- wait what’s that butterfly do- HOLY SHIT OKAY. That was my honest reaction to seeing that happen. Anyways the final boss is Morpho Knight and now Kirby fans are afraid of orange butterflies. Now you can go back to the Ultimate Choice, where levels 6 and 7 are unlocked. After doing either of those two, you unlock level 8, Soul Melter, where you fight all the bosses (including Morpho Knight) and the orb form of Void Termina is replaced by Void Soul. In a later update was unlocked Heroes in Another Dimension, which is just a test of your abilities with various abilities and Star Allies. After that, you unlock level 9 of the Ultimate Choice, Soul Melter EX, where you fight the harder versions of a lot of bosses and Void Termina’s orb form is replaced by Void. This game explained a lot lorewise.
Finally, Kirby and the Forgotten Land and, in my opinion, peak Kirby altogether. The gimmicks of the game are the mouthful mode and the abilities upgrade. There isn’t exactly a mode separation here, meaning that everything is canon. First, you go through the normal worlds until the end of world 3, which is where you unlock the Colosseum and the only place you can fight Meta Knight. The first cup is the Meta Knight Cup, with only the bosses and mini-bosses of worlds 1-3 and Meta Knight, giving us a grand total of 6 battles. Then you go back to the normal worlds until the end of the game, with the first final boss being Fecto Elfilis and the final copy ability being Big Rig Mouthful. There, you unlock the Ultimate Cup in the Colosseum, where you fight every boss and mini-boss of the normal worlds. Then comes Forgo Dreams, where you must collect enough fragments of Leon’s soul to unlock the Forgo Land. Here, the final boss is Soul For- WHAT THE HELL? HOW ARE YOU BACK. So the final boss is actually Morpho Knight again. Except he’s canon now. After beating Morpho Knight, you unlock the third and final cup of the Colosseum, the Ultimate Cup Z, with 12 bosses again. The true final boss (which is very much canon) is Chaos Elfilis.
Well that’s it for the game overview. Now the Copy abilities, sorted by order of appearance, alphabetical order and a little bit on each of them.
Kirby’s Adventure :
- Backdrop, which only ever appeared in that game and its remake. You are now a catcher and have a move called Back Breaker.
- Ball, which only ever appeared in that game and its remake. It transforms Kirby into a ball.
- Beam, our first staple, appearing in a lot of games. Absolutely OP against most of Whispy Woods appearances (especially return to dreamland).
- Burning, a transformation that technically still exists, though it fused with Fire. It transforms Kirby into a horizontal Meteor.
- Crash, another staple, starting in this game, and only missing a few like Crystal Shards. It’s a screen wiper, mini-bosses don’t stand a chance, useless against bosses.
- Cutter, the only copy ability I will call Grand Staple, because it appears in every mainline game except Kirby’s Dreamland. It’s got good range and decent damage.
- Fire, a staple, misses a few games. One of its effect is that it’s super effective against Whispy Woods in Star Allies and it inflicts burning damage overtime in Forgotten Land
- Freeze, a transformation that fused with Ice. Creates a ball of ice around, preventing movement.
- Hammer, the transformation you see the most in (True) Arena runs because its jump attack grants invincibility while still doing decent damage.
- Hi-Jump appeared in a few games. It does what it says, jump high while inflicting damage.
- Ice, a staple, allows to breath ice, create an ice ball that has inertia and one of the few transformations that make you invincible when shielding, with the downside of removing the dodge.
- Laser, it bounces off slopes.
- Light existed for this game and its remake. It doesn’t do damage.
- Mike, a staple, three uses (including one screen wiper).
- Needle, a staple that can transform Kirby in a ball of needles.
- Parasol, a staple that was originally the only ability usable underwater.
- Sleep, a useless staple.
- Spark, a staple. It allows to create a force field in two different ways, including a mobile one.
- Stone, a staple that transforms Kirby into a rock impervious to damage.
- Sword, a staple I won’t present.
- Throw, see Backdrop, except it appeared more often.
- Tornado, an uncontrollable staple which transforms Kirby in a tornado that has trouble changing direction.
- UFO, a rare staple, hard to find. In Planet Robobot, you needed the Kirby Amiibo.
- Wheel, a controllable staple which transforms Kirby into a wheel that can turn very easily, though it can’t fly.
Kirby Super Star :
- Bomb, a staple that gives Kirby bombs, I don’t know what you were expecting.
- Cook, a screen wipe that gives food.
- Copy, allows Kirby to copy the ability of any enemy, useful in Milky Way Wishes. Only ever appeared in that sub game anyway.
- Fighter, a staple that gives Kirby the power of fighting (seriously are you expecting a surprise), by which I mean punch and kick.
- Jet, a transformation that gives damaging flight and missiles.
- Mirror, which allows for mirror powers shenanigans.
- Ninja, a staple that makes Kirby use the coolest moves I’ve ever seen. Also PARRY!
- Paint, appeared in this game and its remake only. It’s a screen wipe.
- Plasma, same thing as spark, but in green instead of blue.
- Suplex, same thing as backdrop.
- Wing, it’s a staple that gives Kirby a damaging flight and… it’s actually similar to Jet, I’m not gonna lie.
- Yo-Yo, it’s a yo-yo and Kirby looks like Ness that way.
Kirby’s Dreamland 3 :
- Cleaning, which had a number of abilities thanks to the animal friends. The enemy that gives it is a staple, not the transformation.
Kirby and The Amazing Mirror :
- Cupid gives Kirby a bow and arrow, later replaced by Archer.
- Magic, Kirby can now do a roulette that is absolutely OP (in squeak squad, he also does magic tricks)
- Mini, Kirby is now smol.
- Missile, Kirby transforms in a missile, what did you expect.
- Smash Bros., Kirby gets his Smash moveset.
Kirby Canvas Curse : Balloon, where Kirby becomes a balloon (only mentioning this because it’s a copy ability apparently)
Kirby Squeak Squad :
- Animal, the one I hoped was making a comeback in Forgotten Land (it didn’t), Kirby gains sharp claws and the ability to dig.
- Bubble, which allows Kirby to transform enemies into bubbles. Like Bubble Mario.
- Ghost allows Kirby to possess enemies.
- Metal, where Kirby becomes invincible but he’s slow and can’t float.
Kirby’s Return to Dreamland :
- Leaf, which gives Kirby sharp leaves to attack with, from thrown to tornado, and renders him invincible when shielding.
- Spear. Kirby gets a spear.
- Water, where Kirby finally becomes the Avatar, able to control Earth (Rock), Fire, Air (Tornado) and Water.
- Whip. Guess what? Kirby gets a whip.
Kirby Triple Deluxe :
- Archer. Kirby gets a bow.
- Beetle, where Kirby gets a beetle horn and attacks with it.
- Bell, Kirby gets a bell and is like a child with it.
- Circus, complicated, check this to have it all : https://wikirby.com/wiki/Circus
Kirby Planet Robobot :
- Doctor. Kirby makes potions for elements and attacks using medicine.
- ESP. Okay now that’s definitely Ness.
- Poison, which is rather similar to Water in terms of gameplay, except it can also do a cloud and orient the fountain.
Kirby Star Allies :
- Artist, which allows Kirby to paint things to life (like Adeleine, actually).
- Festival, a screen wipe with a cute dance right before.
- Spider, Kirby can now throw webs.
- Staff, look at Sun Wukong and yep, that’s it.
Kirby Fighters 2 : Wrestler, only mentioning it.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land :
- Drill, Kirby digs with that drill.
- Ranger, Kirby with a GUN, OH YEAH!
Jelly exists, apparently.
Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe :
- Mecha, check this https://wikirby.com/wiki/Mecha
- Sand, he’s gonna put some dirt in your eyes.
That’s done too now. I guess it’s the bosses now. I won’t do them all, only the important ones. The order is not exactly important.
- Whispy Woods : Usually, he or a cousin of his is the first boss
- Kracko : Where there is a sky, there is a Kracko. And also, he hates Kirby like Reverse Flash hates Flash.
- King DeDeDe : The boss that is only Final Boss once, the first game. I’ll talk more about another version of him though.
- Meta Knight, who has been possessed a lot and I mean a LOT of times. Not as often as DeDeDe. After Star Allies, it can be surmised that he trained against mind control because he wasn’t affected by Fecto Forgo.
- Nightmare, the final boss of Kirby’s Adventure, who sure does exist.
- Dark Matter Swordsman, who is a Dark Matter and (WARNING : THIS IS A THEORY) might be a deviant Dark Matter, because of the fact that the manual says that it is jealous of the friends Kirby has, while Dark Matters shouldn’t be able to feel positive emotions (THEORY END).
- Galactic Nova (Nucleus), which is a device made by the ancients to make wishes come true. I’ll talk more about this later though.
- Marx, the devilish buffoon, who tricks Kirby into summoning Nova in order for Marx to take control of Popstar.
- Masked DeDeDe, the version I will actually talk about. First the music is awesome and every time they remix it, it gets better (Masked DeDeDe, DeDeDe’s Royal Payback, Roar of DeDeDe+Masked and Wild D.D.D). DeDeDe put a fucking rocket inside his hammer for more power.
- Galacta Knight. Very little is known about him, but what little is known is absolutely crazy. Could destroy a planet or two on a whim according to Star Dream. (THEORY) Might be a Hero of Iore (THEORY END). The strongest combatant in the universe.
- Ado, later Adeleine, is a Human, a very rare sight in Kirby games and (THEORY) might be the creator of Drawcia, Paintra and Vividria (THEORY END).
- Dark Matter, (THEORY) a primal entity of the universe hellbent on destroying the Light of Joy (THEORY END).
- Zero, the leader of the Dark Matter, attacks using blood and Dark Matter as projectiles. During its second phase, it sheds its protective white sphere.
- Pix is surprisingly important for later, keep it in mind.
- HR-H -> HR-E, a robot created by humans on Shiver Star (which is the Earth, commonly accepted theory by now) left to defend the abandoned underground city. Important for the ancients.
- Miracle Matter, an important Dark Matter (probably a General). It has control over the elements, that’s important for later.
- Zero Two, which, while never confirmed to be a Dark Matter, probably is a Dark Matter. Oh boy, that one will probably have my head on a pike so (THEORY THAT MIGHT PISS YOU OFF ALERT) It is not a reincarnation of Zero in my opinion. While it does have an angelic theming, I think of it as meaning that while Zero might have been strong, this entity, which uses the same white shell as it, is an angel of death (THEORY END).
- Master Hand and Crazy Hand. They’re here, that’s fun.
- Dark Meta Knight, an amplified reflection of the worst parts of Meta Knight.
- Dark Mind, (THEORY TIME) it might be the reflection of Zero in the amazing mirror, which corrupted said mirror and made it so that anyone who looks into it is either corrupted or gets copied with their worst parts amplified (THEORY END).
- Daroach, Leader of the Squeaks, the mice thieves (their mice that are thieves, not people that steal mice). He is akin to a phantom thief.
- Dark Nebula. (THEORY) Probably an ancient Dark Matter Leader. I say this because it can possess people, has a singular eye, has a colour scheme very Dark Matter and can control the elements. And it has probably been stuck in that chest for hundreds if not thousands of years, so it can’t reach full power right away (THEORY END).
- Drawcia, the creation regretted by its creator.
(For the Return to Dreamland Bosses, I will talk about the EX bosses)
- Grand Doomer EX, leader of the Sphere Doomers, entities with the ability to create portals to travel through space time using Another Dimension. It is mentioned that the Sphere Doomers didn’t always look like that. It’s important for later.
- Metal General EX and HR-D3, the reason people think the Extra Mode isn’t canon, (THEORY) I say it’s just a multiverse thing BECAUSE it was supposed to be a boss for a cancelled Kirby Game and it just traveled from a world it existed to a world it didn’t (THEORY END).
- Landia EX, which is Landia drawing too much power from the Master Crown, and going a little mad. It is the keeper of the Master Crown because (THEORY) it is actually, in my opinion, 4 dragons fused into one, so there are 4 minds to corrupt instead of 1 (THEORY END).
- Lor EX and Magolor. The Lor is a ship that is implied to have a consciousness and is corrupted by Magolor. Important for the ancients.
- Magolor EX is (THEORY TIME) actually taking as much power as during the second part of his normal fight. That would make the fact that he transforms into Magolor Soul make more sense (THEORY END).
- Crowned Doomer, see Grand Doomer.
- Master Crown, an item with “infinite” power, the ability to corrupt those who wear it and open portals. In Magolor’s Epilogue, it possesses a tree and becomes the crown without a ruler, as exposed by its theme : “Mistilteinn, Tree Crown without a Ruler”. There is symbolism to be found here, but I won’t go into it.
- Paintra, sister of Drawcia.
- Queen Sectonia -> Flowered Sectonia. She looked like Taranza at first but then, he brought her a mirror, a beautifully cursed mirror, the amazing mirror. She looked into it. She wanted to look more and more beautiful and so she modified her body until she looked nothing like she did. She fuses with the Dreamstalk as an ultimate move to try to become the most beautiful and destroy Kirby.
- Shadow DeDeDe, while not canon, it’s the Shadow of the King after he looked into the mirror.
- Holo Defense API. Remember Pix? Yeah it’s important now, the design is similar, so it can be surmised Haltmann took the schematics and made it a defense system. It’s probably ancient tech.
- Susie, of her true name Susanna Haltmann, is the daughter of President Haltmann, though he forgot who she was after she was lost in Another Dimension. She was lost in there for years (she was a child when she fell into it and was of age to be hired by Haltmann when she came back out) and when she realised her father didn’t recognise her anymore, she strived to be the best in the company and to take away Star Dream from him. She succeeded and lost her father in the process.
- President Haltmann got obsessed with Star Dream after he lost his daughter. When Susie took away the control device of Star Dream, his Mind fused with the Program.
- Star Dream, the result of Haltmann finding the schematics for Galactic Nova. It can open portals, create a countdown to the Red Screen of Death, summon Galacta Knight and has a secret mode activated if it takes too much damage. Important for the ancients.
- The Three Mage Sisters (a developer said it could be religious sisters), Francisca, Flamberge and Zan Partizanne. They were all on the brink of death when Hyness found them. Their lives weren’t kind to them, since Francisca is implied to have been trying to commit suicide (who goes into a snowstorm like that), Flamberge was facing an inferno and who the fuck does that if they don’t want to die, and Zan Partizanne was climbing a tower in desperation so I’d say she wasn’t doing it for fun. Anyways they’re all extremely loyal to Hyness, even with his poor treatment of them. Also Francisca and Flamberge are implied to be in a romantic relationship.
- Hyness. The one and only character that ever mentioned the ancients, being one himself. He was a good person originally (as exposed by the fact that he saved the Mage Sisters) but he started worshipping Void Termina, and he started going madder and madder. All that until Heroes in another dimension, where his heart is finally saved.
- Void Termina, the closest thing the Kirby Universe has to a god. I’ll talk more about Void though.
- Morpho Knight. I won’t talk about him because too little is known.
- Clawroline, of her true name Carol, is a Leopard, close friend of Leongar. She is a general of the Beast Pack.
- Leongar, of his true name Leon, is the Lion Leader of the Beast Pack. He is possessed by Fecto Forgo.
- Fecto Forgo -> Fecto Elfilis. (BEEN A WHILE THEORY TIME) This might be the true form of the Grand Doomer, I say this because of the wings directly attached to the head and the ability to open portals (END THEORY). I say more with Chaos Elfilis.
Now, onto the Soul forms (take everything said here with a grain of salt)
- Drawcia Soul. No idea who she is, but she was first.
- Marx Soul. He’s the form you see in Star Allies because (THEORY TIME) he can be seen absorbing part of Nova in the True Arena and in MetaKnightmare, Nova reassembles itself and is missing a few pieces, implying Marx absorbed those. Therefore, it can be assumed this happened in the canon timeline (THEORY END).
- Magolor Soul. He’s a fun one, because the epilogue shows us that’s the canon final form, therefore making the extra mode canon. He’s also the only one to appear in both the Extra Mode and the True Arena.
- Soul of Sectonia. She’s taken several Miracle Fruits (drugs) and is back to destroy Kirby (she fails). She’s given all she was to beauty and it is now all she has left.
- Star Dream Soul OS. It is activated because of the damage caused by Galacta Knight. It has a bit of Haltmann’s soul left, which is the reason it loses.
- Void Soul. It’s cool. Void is cooler though.
- Void, Astral Birth. It’s the thing that Hyness was trying to summon, and (YOU’RE GOING TO KILL ME FOR THAT ONE) a chameleon god, who acts how the summoner wants him to act. While Kirby isn’t Void or one of his incarnations, he is probably an existence not unlike Void’s (THEORY END).
- Chaos Elfilis. That thing can control dreams (as proven with Forgo Dreams), space (major plot point), minds (Leongar), souls (major plot point) and light (one of its attacks). It is in constant pain and has forgotten who it truly is after absorbing so many souls.
Okay I’m done with that. Now I gotta do the Star Allies (Dream Friends + Elfilin)
- Bandana Waddle Dee (Bandee). Everyone likes him, he’s a little dude with a spear and is extremely loyal to King DeDeDe.
- King DeDeDe.
- Meta Knight.
- Animal Friends.
- Marx
- Gooey. A deviant Dark Matter that is just a goofball.
- Adeleine and Ribbon. They’re cool, okay, I just think there were better picks for Dream Friends than them.
- Dark Meta Knight. He is only there because he wants to be the most evil there is.
- Daroach.
- Magolor.
- Taranza. Still grieving his love, but wants to help his friend.
- Susie.
- The Three Mage Sisters.
- Elfilin. See Chaos Elfilis.
(THEORY TIME)
The ancients. The most mysterious people we know and yet we have so much on them. We know they were split in half (the Scientists and the Mages) and they made some of the most impressive things we know (Lor, Galactic Nova, Lix, etc). I don’t think all the scientists come from the same place. I think some of them come from Shiver Star and some others come from the Forgotten Land. I don’t know much about them.
(THEORY END)
Now the music, I will talk about two of them specifically.
First, Green Greens, THE Kirby song. It’s the song that plays whenever HAL Laboratory wants to hit the nostalgia button. It’s simple, it’s easily recognisable and everyone loves it. (Planet Robobot, both remixes).
Second, Masked DeDeDe’s Theme. Oh boy, this theme. Ever since it first appeared, it has a remix for each game (except Return to Dreamland (present in the remake) and Planet Robobot). In order, there is :
1. The original
2. DeDeDe’s Royal Payback, Triple Deluxe
3. Against a Sword-King, the Dimension to Win, Star Allies
4. Roar of DeDeDe was disappointing, not gonna lie. So imagine my joy when I heard Masked and Wild : D.D.D.. It’s an absolute Banger. Forgotten Land.
The modern era has some interesting themes, actually.
1. Return to Dreamland. Its theme is that if you chase the ultimate power, the only thing you’ll get is suffering (Magolor).
2. Triple Deluxe. If you are obsessed with how others see you, you’ll end up destroying yourself (Sectonia).
3. Planet Robobot. A classic show of Man versus Machine, sprinkled with the importance of family.
4. Star Allies. The power of friendship is the power to jump your enemies.
5. Forgotten Land. Human creations are worth nothing against Nature.
The anecdotes.
Did you know :
Kirby was always supposed to be pink. It’s just that Miyamoto thought he’d be yellow and was pleasantly surprised by the pink.
Kirby has this name for two reasons. For one, John Kirby, who won the lawsuit against Universal. For two, it’s surprising to have a K sound for a being so round.
The anime follows its own plot because Sakurai basically said redundancy is the killer of a good story.
Kirby has killed a child before (Void).
Kirby has yet to wield an axe.

Choose an unknowable being to summon to carry out your will.
1: a massive demon in black armor. He is a being of fire, and can go from pleasantly warm to hot enough to kill anything he touches. Though he is by nature a being that takes human souls, thousands of years of life experience have made him into a man of honer, he speaks softly, and tries to avoid sadism when possible.
2: a young spirit of advertisements and technology. Perhaps it is truly new, perhaps it is a nature spirit corrupted into something new. Either way it's very excited to have its first true master, and while it's not very strong, it's powerful in the ways of mind control and manipulation.
3: a goblin whose found herself indebted to a wizard. She appears as a skinny humanoid, with long limbs, sharp teeth and red eyes, and is capable of sustaining herself on inorganic material. She's kind of feral, but craves attention, especially from you.
4: a fallen angel whose found themself in a really bad place in the multiverse. They look almost like a doll or a machine but with radiant wings and a broken halo. They're still very upset about what happened to them, and tend to cry a lot.
5: a golem who was banished from Atlantis before it fell into the ocean. One of the only options her from earth. It tends to be stoic and wordless due to something it did in the long past, and when she does talk to you she perfers short statments. Also the most loyal option here, and may be her fully of her own will.
6: a raven spirit who takes many forms and has been known by many names. They're a trickster by nature, and they'd be very excited to carry out any plans that she finds amusing. Though be warned, they have a quick tounge, and may want you to do a few favors for him.
7: a vampire whose been bound to a forgotten god through a failed pact. She looks somewhat human, but there's always something unnatural about her, and her mouth can open far wider than a humans can. She was turned into a vampire some time in the early modern era, and tends to wear men's clothing from that era. She can be a bit quiet and introverted, but she's actually quite nice, and probably wants to best for most humans.
8: an eldrich knight from a long destroyed dimension. They're bound to their armor from the neck down, and can't eat or sleep. They seem to enjoy hurting people, though there's a very high chance that they become protective of you after awhile.
9: an undying werewolf bound to oppose tyranny in every era. If your goals align with her's there's a good chance she'll become very loyal and protective twords you. But if she deems you a force of evil she is able to leave you. She's also very physically affectionate.
10: faerie prince who was banished from his kingdom due to [redacted]. He's very nice and charming, though he doesn't understand human laws or morals in the slightest. Though he does have a few important rules he's bound to, most notably he's no longer allowed to kill anyone directly, though he's creative enough to find ways to harm them in more interesting ways.
11: a failed wizard who now exists as a ghost indebted to a god of death. They know what they've done, and they're entirely at peace with what's happened to them. They'll likely start out feeling inferior to you, and it's up to you if you encourage those emotions.
12: the Cat King [⚠️do not summon the Cat King⚠️].
Reblog the summon the creature. Like to give it a small gift.

Rewriting the Hollow Knight of Hazbin Hotel
So, am I the only one who finds it weird that Carmilla isn’t getting jumped by the higher class?
The girl has an arsenal of weapons that can kill Goetia’s members AND neutralize their powers. And she sells it at affordable prices? Stricker can buy those weapons for God’s sake! That’s how he kills Blue Bloods, shouldn't that ring a bell in the Royal Class?
It’s surprising that an uprising hasn't happened yet, some imps managed to build successful businesses (Bliztø, Crimson, Stricker, Barbie I guess?) imagine the disaster if one day they have enough of being treated as lesser and just happen to have enough money to arm a large population of imps.
I intended her to be Velvette's mother, but I changed my plan and turned her into my OC. One thing I don't like about Viv’s Hell is how small it looks. You're telling me that everyone either comes from somewhere in America or Europe, Nifty is the only Asian character, and Cherry Bomb is the only Australian but that’s not enough for me.
Add to that the fact that her POC characters are grey. Or that she simply doesn't add any features/accents that could help the audience guess which origin are her characters.
I know Velvette has an accent but that’s the only character who has one. They should have done more research to make everyone have a dialect at least as unique as Zestial.
Anyways, Carmilla is from South Africa. Don’t get mad at me, Viv’s Hell feels extremely small and I needed multiple POVs to diversify the backstory.
I want my Version of Hell to be a clash of multiple origins, musically speaking you can give the aggressive Spanish guitars to Vaga. Carmilla is associated with Kwela and Soul.
Nomsa Mbatha was born in 1959 and grew to be an impoverished black woman in South Africa during the apartheid, she eventually married gang members to survive.
The Gang was primarily focused on smuggling and economic activities and she participated as a new member when she got married. She partacked in smuggling weapons, drugs, and other contraband into prisons and served as well as an informant gathering intelligence from the outside world and relaying information to gang members in prison or on the streets. Nomsa also provided alibis. All of that is in exchange for protection and money to have a somewhat normal life.
She had her two daughters at 35, the two were twins. Nomsa interchanged between mother and Gang members and, unfortunately, had to bring the girls to do some of the dirty work.
The two girls died with their mother at 20 during a police raid. Nomsa was struck with guilt as she thought she was the reason Odette and Clara went to Hell with her.
In Hell, she renamed herself Induna and used her knowledge to start selling weapons, normal ones at first. Until she started commercializing Blessed Steels.
She didn’t get away with it, she was targeted by many Goetia members scared to lose their position of power since it’s the only thing that can kill them. It’s only through negotiation that she comes up with an arrangement with them with the help of Zestial who’s well-known and respected.
You need to be legally approved (A card to hold one in public) and only royal members have access to it Induna is the exception. The utilization is up to them once purchased.
The weapons are actually mostly harmless to The 72 Lesser Keys of Solomon. It’s the rest of the Goetia, their children who can be killed. The Seven Deadly Sins or The Other Fallen Angels are also safe.
Her employees usually seek the lost Angelic Weapons just right after extermination, they operate during the cleaning of roads and are trained to recognize blessed steel as they can't be noticed with metal detectors. They wear uniforms and it’s usually during these weapons harvesting that people follow them to steal from the company. It’s rare since her workers know how to fight but it happens and a small black market occurred from it, that’s where Stricker got his personal dagger. He also steals from the rich.
Details:
→ Nomsa speaks Zulu and Induna means leader of a group of warriors.
Nomsa means The Mother of Compassion and Mbatha can mean Protector. She’s a mother and the protector of her children.
→ The Twins work for their mother and she insists that they work indoors. One works to design the weapons, and the other tests them. Induna regularly trains them on how to fight and defend themselves.
→ Vaga worked for a few years with Induna and sees herself in her. She keeps her daughter safe the same way she tries to keep her brother out of danger.
My take on human Vaggie → here ←
Appearance:
Watch me fight my biggest enemies, front-facing, and side-profile. I feel like I messed up the head shape in the side profile.
Vivziepop when she learned it’s easy to moisturize and draw POC characters with actual features.
Anyway, I don’t really know what I want to do with her sinner's forms. I think I’m gonna make her a bear because Mommy Bear. I’ll keep the big paws as a way to say she has the weight of the people she killed on her hands. You could say…
“But she never killed anyone.”
Yes, but she still sold weapons that killed people later, willingly participating in a sin will get you to Hell.
That’s all for the rewrite.

Snow White au. (More like elements of Snow White). Except it’s about a handsome man. Davron.
Davos is known as being the most handsome man in the riverlands and his uncle Willem is jealous of that fact. He keeps proposing marriage to all the eligible women but they refuse him because he’s not Davos. So Willem hires someone to take Davos to the woods to kill him, unfortunately for Willem the man he hired to kill Davos thinks Davos is too handsome to be killed for a petty reason. The man takes Davos deep into the woods where he knows an abandoned cabin is located.
He tells Davos that he was hired by Willem to kill him, but he’s not one to waste a beauty proved by the gods, he also tells him that he’ll send someone to come get him. Davos doesn’t like the fact that Willem wants him dead, he just wants to live his life, and not to be stuck in the woods like a damsel waiting for someone to rescue him. He vows in his heart that once he leaves the woods he will kill Willem.
Days pass Davos hunts for his food while marking the passage of time on the cabins wall. He’s also bored out of his mind, but he knows that if he tries to leave he’ll get lost in the woods. He knows that he’s not in Blackwood territory, what he doesn’t know is that he’s actually deep in the Bracken woods. The man hired by Willem to kill Davos is loyal to the Brackens, that man figures if he can’t kill Davos one of the Brackens would be more than willing to especially since he’d found in Bracken territory.
By the time a week has passed the man who placed Davos in the cabin decides it’s time to tell Amos about Davos hiding out in the abandoned cabin. Amos is furious that a Blackwood had managed to sneak deep into the woods undetected and stay there for a week. He decides to send his nephew Aeron to go take care of the Blackwood, he doesn’t trust any of his men but can trust Aeron. Aeron is apprehensive about facing a Blackwood alone, but knows as a new knight he has to do what Amos tells him to do.
Aeron gets the map from the man who lead Davos to the cabin. He also brings enough food for him and Davos, he figures it would be nice for Davos to get one last good meal before he’s killed. It only takes Aeron a couple of hours to get the cabin, and when he does he’s surprised to see one of the most handsome men in the riverlands. As soon as Aeron lays eyes on Davos he’s half in love with him.
Davos asks who Aeron is and what does he want? Aeron tells him he was sent by his uncle to kill him, but he’s not going to kill such a beautiful gift from the seven. After Aeron explains his purpose he offers half of the food to Davos, Aeron shows Davos that it’s all the same food and eats his portion first to prove it’s not poisoned and he even takes a bite of Davos’s food when he demands him to.
Once their bellies are full Davos asks what Aeron what he plans on doing with him, since he won’t kill him. Aeron tells Davos that they can run away to River Run, he’s heard that Oscar Tully is tired of the feuding between their houses so he’ll probably protect them from their houses. Davos is skeptical but agrees with Aerons plan, he doesn’t want to go back to his murderous uncle and knows Amos won’t allow him to live peacefully in Stone Hedge. Aeron had told him that if he told Amos that he was in love with Davos he would allow him to stay but he’d expect Davos to fight against the Blackwoods and he doesn’t think that it’s fair for Davos to have to do that.
So Davos and Aeron spend a couple of days in the woods, hunting and just getting to know each other while slowly falling in love. At the end of the second day they finally reach River Run, they ask to see Oscar to ask (beg) him for asylum. Oscar agrees to allow them to stay as long as they promise to not take part in any fights between their houses. Aeron and Davos agree immediately, they’re done with blindly following their house loyalties. Oscar will allow fights between them, but they are not to involve anyone else in the fights.
After Davos and Aeron have been shown to their rooms Oscar sends ravens to Willem and Amos. In his letter to Willem, Oscar tells Willem to not worry about Davos stealing his opportunities with the women anymore because Davos has fallen in love with a Bracken man. Willem sends a letter to Davos telling him that he’s dead to him and to have fun with his Bracken cunt of a husband. In Oscar’s letter to Amos he tells him that Aeron has fallen in love with the Blackwood that he was sent to kill and that they’ll be living in River Run from now on. Amos sends a letter to Aeron congratulating him on finding love even if it’s with a Blackwood, he also reminds Aeron that he still loves him and that he can come visit with his Blackwood husband anytime he wants.
After fighting breaks out between house Targaryen and houses Bracken and Blackwood have declared for opposite sides, Oscar pulls Davos and Aeron to keep out of the fighting. And once Oscar hears about the war crimes Willem pulled in the river lands while following Daemons orders he decided to execute Willem and then have house Tully declare for Rhaenyra. Oscar brings Davos and Aeron along, Davos so he can say goodbye to Willem and Aeron so he can support Davos.
The night after Daemon executes Willem, Davos can be found in Aerons arms crying. Sure Willem tried to have him killed but that was still his uncle who raised him and kept him safe throughout his childhood. Aeron just holds Davos and tells him whatever he’s feeling is valid, and that they won’t have to fight he already had Oscar promise him.
And that’s how Aeron and Davos keep out of the Targaryen civil war and fall deeply in love with each other with full support of Oscar and house Tully.

you can't convince me Venom (2021) and a bunch of the Venom War comics aren't the products of execs and writers who hate the characters Eddie Brock/Venom/Dylan Brock.
not only does Venom War have Eddie go back to his old angry self randomly and have Dylan kill his dad TWICE, once for no reason and once to make Eddie lose his god status/powers, and make the symbiote disappear from Eddie again with no hestation, not only does Venom (2021) have a bullshit timeloop story and end on this ridiculous and confusing fantasy C-plot tie-in Loki and Old Man Dylan story, it also brought back an old silly character Flexo, to make it an edgy Dr.Doom-controlled-symbiote-robot who failed to perform a Hitler assassination bc of Eddie unknowingly distracting it. wtf?? just horrible stuff.
Venom (2021) ends with Old Man Dylan deciding he must die, which already happened about 1-2 time before. Dylan exists in the comics since 2018 and has some of the most potential things about him, from being a human/symbiote kid, to having unique powers (which he lost in an older run), to being a witty and pissed off kid full of trauma, to being more dimensional and wrathful than the average goody good marvel child, to being born with an innate hatred of spider-man, to being friends with the symbiote host godchild of peter, to being one of the two main guys who helped defeat knull, to being the son if a god, to having a genuinely amazing father-son relationship with Eddie until the comics fucked it all up and decided they don't know anything else to write for Dylan besides endless misery and character regression for Eddie.
i just mostly wish there was at least one run with Dylan as Venom. he was introduced in the last issue if Venom (2018), appeared as a background character in 1 or 2 issues of Normie's 10-issue Red Goblin comics, and he was included in 1 issue of Ms. Marvel and 1 of Moon Knight. that's it.
at least the next All-New Venom comic seems it will have Dylan as the main character, trying to figure out new "Venom's" identity. but my god can they please write a different story for once than "and Eddie loses his symbiote for the Nth time". and then there will be the Eddie Brock as Carnage comic which sounds like an even greater illogical hot mess but yk.
this is just like in the 90s where writers reluctantly continued Venom as a character after planning to kill him off, but discovering with shock that readers actually liked Eddie/Venom.

Magneto Cyclops Exodus Was Right
That's right, the craziest of the crazy. French Crusader from the 12th century turned Omega Mutant hero of Krakoa. The Black Knight's boyfriend and the guy who rebuilt Xavier's brain. The guy who looked at Catholicism and said 'nah, you're all wrong. Here's the real religion and I'm Pope.' Bennett Du Paris - Exodus.
This celibate sex God. He was right... about at least one thing, though it was a very important thing. Join me for a journey into the work of a prophet - a tale of a baby, a pink guy, and a big bird.
Eating a potato raw in his midriff with Kafka. It's true, he is definitely intense.
Exodus benefited immensely from the First Krakoan Age, getting a seat on the Quiet Council and all sins forgiven. Since being awakened by Magneto after centuries asleep, Exodus followed his beliefs that boil down to Mutant Supremacy + Catholicism put in a blender and mixed with whatever extremism the writer needed at the time. He was rudderless Pre-Krakoa, both in universe and out. He didn't make a lot of sense and was used as a pseudo religious fundamentalist powerhouse/troublemaker. His character and belief system on mutants' personal Eden with battles to build solidarity and support from a community for the first time in 900 years fit perfectly.
He started to grow, chill out a little bit, had his beliefs challenged and shared. He became Apostle to the Messiah, teacher to children, puncher of dragons. He was EXTRA (that's getting its own post) and, for the purposes of this post, he started to adapt scripture. Pope stuff. We don't get to read the New New Testament according to Exodus, but several things about his theology were made crystal clear.
1. God was still God, but mutants were the chosen few.
2. The Nazarene Mutant (Jesus) was a Messiah, but not the Messiah. Hope Summers is.
3. The Holy Spirit is The Phoenix. They are one and the same.
Got all that? In X-Men Forever, the Kurt/Raven/Destiny family subplot is playing out and comes to light during a 'council meeting.'
Hope is happy for Kurt learning about his parentage and she mentions in passing that she doesn't know who her bio dad was. Exodus, true to form, declared that the Holy Spirit (The Phoenix) 'quickened the womb of...' AKA immaculate conception. Hope has little patience for this, also true to form (plus by this point she knows she is going to die soon.) They're all in the White Hot Room, you see, mutant heaven kinda and Mother Righteous killed Jean/The Phoenix. They need to bring it back to beat this nasty AI God, Enigma. It's got a lot of steps so I'll simplify it.
1. Feed Hope to The Phoenix while shooting it.
2. Jean/Phoenix/Jeanix go kill the mean AI God.
The rest of the X-Men/Mutants bounce back to Earth to kill fascists and the girls get to work. The Gun is Legion and the 'she' being referred to is The Phoenix, who's scared. They need it to stay still for the ritual to work.
The AI God learns of these plans and, making use of his access to all of time and space, visits Hope's mother before she's pregnant in his sleazy ass human form. If he's her Dad then he'd be able to influence her and stop all this Phoenix business, or better, absorb it into his greedy, nasty self. He tells her (truthfully) that she'll die soon after giving birth by fire and it will not be pleasant. In the present, Jean notices Hope starting to change (picture Back to the Future when Marty is disappearing but also not) and realises what's going on.
Jean comes in with the truth and Enigma shoots himself in the foot because he's forgotten how to be anything but a selfish dick. Louise (Hope's bio mother) says BAD VIBES and he *tortures her.* She still says fuck off cos she's cool AF.
Louise doesn't even blink and signs up to do the right thing, though she doesn't want to fuck Jeanix. As soon as she consents, Jeanix touches her forehead and it's done! Back to normal reality for her. Boom, Hope is no longer all weird and completes the ritual...
... sadly dying. Pour one out, but know that she did this willingly. Died for our sins would be pushing it, she's better than Jesus - Hope died for our lives and happiness, and to kill a shitty God.
So with all that mumbo jumbo and time travel stuff, two new pieces of information are confirmed.
1. Hope is the goddamn Messiah. ❤️❤️
2. Her previously unknown father turned out to be The Phoenix AKA the motherfucking Holy Spirit.
Let's check back with Exodus and his thoughts on the matter...
EXODUS WAS RIGHT Y'ALL.
As established, Louise was neither DTF nor pregnant. Jeanix laid hands and quickened her womb. All dictionaries agree - quickening is entirely fetus-related. The Holy Spirit created a whole ass baby and it was our Messiah, Hope. Move over, Nazarene Mutant. Move over St Peter. Hope and Exodus are here. Joyously, Cable is still her father. He just gets to be her step-sister/half-brother too. Most importantly, Exodus was right. I'm pretty sure he knows, too. (Send an ask if you want proof.) Aren't comics great?

🗝 Witching Hour
A fantasy world of monsters, wizards, witches and demons. There are two great trees, the Mother and the Father. The Mother births those of light and hope, while the Father births those demonic and dark. Wormwood's (a 1920s time period city) boss Sinclair hears word that after over a thousand years, the Mother tree has birthed a new being before withering away. The news has struck the three planes of this world, though some more secret than others. (Stonehearst, Wormwood, and the 6th Gate) A young woman has been born, with unknown purpose and power, and to protect her from the Warden of the 6th Gate and the Wizards of the Council, they disguise her and keep her in Wormwood, with a very crabby spider and a crow monster to protect her.
💥 Endworld
There are 3 worlds in this odd existence. The Overworld, or what they call "Utopia", Limbo which is a dark world that is the great gate, and Endworld, a city of crime, monsters and sin. Genny, daughter to "God", the Queen of Overworld, hides a secret that could stain her mothers reputation and the perfectionism of this pure world. She is half Endworldian, and she wants to find her father. After sneaking out and falling to this chaotic world, she meets two con-men brothers and they get roped into more chaos than they are use to when the Overworld officials go after their Princess. Not being able to survive for long from this pursuit, they end up hiring an infamous mercenary group to protect them from Overworld and God's wrath and help Genny find her father.

*spoilers* SOTE Lore/story Thoughts
I'm not through it all yet - I'm avoiding various parts of this DLC which is, I might add, beating me black and blue - but I do have some lore thoughts.
I don't hate the idea of Miquella being a lil fucked up - it matches with every other member of their family at this point - but I have really enjoyed all the St. Trina stuff! The cross in the fissure saying I abandon here my love then finding the remains of her slumbering in the depths was actually beautiful. This other aspect of them, this part that represented their love and kindness for others - abandoned for their greater plan, praying for you to stop their key aspect
This deepening of charm to bewitch and sleep to eternal sleep of death has done some wild things to their characterisation. I don't know if I vibe with it fully but its certainly changed Miquella from being this kind of do no wrong figure to someone who has always had darker aspects, even if they chose mostly compassion
It puts into question a lot of the relationships we have thought Miquella has had with others (family and otherwise) because now its a little unclear to what extent they wanted to have that relationship or to what extent it was overexaggerated by Miquella for their plans.
This all said it now means the entire Marika/Radagon line is pretty irredeemable in various ways so born it all down I guess
Messmer is a little depressing in a way. Here's a child who did as their Mother told them, only to be locked away in this endless war growing crazier by the moment and becoming beholden to the Abyssal Serpent. His lines when you die, particularly in 2nd phase, tell you this man fully thinks he's damning himself to kill you. Even if he is questioning his Mother's plan, it's only in the way that lets him carry on with the last command he actually heard from her. Her blessing says shes now entirely abandoned this child that destoryed entire civilisations because she asked for it. Its sad as fuck
Rellana is interesting to me because her remembrance states she was a Carian princess that ditched to stick by Messmer's side - seemingly because she knew his path following his Mother would lead him to ruin. I wonder if she followed pre-Radagon betrayal? Like Messmer in his looks felt very Radagon/Renala child to me and boy howdy another one off with the snakes - Rykard clearly had an inspiration. It also solves the mystery of why snakes were so hated before Rykard became snake - they were either tied to Messmer OR the Abyssal Serpent (hi I'd like to know more about this outer god please and thank)
I really like that the hornsent have the ability to chant into existance these powerful forms. Like, together they lift up others of them to demi-god status. The Dancing Lion being this actual piloted beast (a la Chinese lion dances) with 2 priests(?) controlling it, chanted into existance by the Hornsent Grandma is this awesome idea and it was terrifying continuing to summon new elements which scared me :D
Hey who the fuck are those massive tanky bitches everywhere and what's the lore on those lil bastards. Just them and their fucked up dogs. Seemingly very Mohg and the Omens coded? Like some of them have a "leader" with something reminescent of Mohg's trident which implies a connection to the formless mother and they have started like eating each other which seems her vibe.
As a sidenote - Easter Eggs abound which I really enjoy. The fact you can drain the Church District a la DS1, there's an auto crossbow a la gael's, those beast claws are bloodborne, there's a few armour sets that are black knight coded or fume knight coded, the monk moves are very reminiscent of the senpou monks, Gaius is very Gyoubu Oniwa
I didn't really want FINGER LORE but here we are with FINGERLORE THANKS YMIR. So the fingers being born is horrific to me. I did think Ymir had some interesting takes on the fingers being led astray and having come from a mother that was wrong (and then getting dropped on Mother Of Fingers was....horrifying). They in themselves are very bloodborne-y which is neat.
It was always very prominent in the base game, but this continuing narrative of conquest and destruction is still very satisfying to me. (Its very christianity coded oops). I think it was more...hazed over in the base game? Not in a bad way but in a "lot at all this literal gold! we'll plaster it over the blood and bones so you can't see them" kinda way that made it all the more dark. Like for the most part this is a conquest that won so completely there's little left to say otherwise. In the DLC we see the extremes of that war. This is a conquest still on-going. There's blood, ash, bone, and fire everywhere. The entire continent is covered in GRAVESITES. It's this incredibly violent "we haven't had time to rewrite history as the victors yet" and it is entirely narratively satisfying that in this shadow place, all the cracks are showing.
#elden ring#shadow of the erdtree spoilers#shadow of the erdtree#it is midnight and I am DELIRIOUS so sorry bout this#I don't have anyone that cares about the story/lore I want to talk about it so bad

Love the new idea🥹
Are the couples set or you’re still thinking about it? I would sacrifice my first born for a fantasy romance with Jegulus written by you
okay so,,,yall might hate me for this but the fic was originally with jegulus as the main couple and characters. i dont wanna give too much of the plot away by explaining why i changed it but i swear to you it makes SO much more sense to have wolfstar be the main and for bartylus, jily etc.
BASICALLY when i first started thinking about the fantasy au (literally last december when i first joined the fandom and discovered what jegulus was, this is how old this fic idea is now lmao) i thought it worked because thats what people would prefer reading, which is such a rubbish mindset to have. im still trying to get over that honestly and write what i wanna write, but that was a big issue for me starting and why i havent really made progress with it because i kept thinking about bartylus being better and james not being one of the main characters etc etc and, once again please trust me, sirius being the main character makes the most sense.
the OG idea was sirius being 'killed' by walburga (shes an evil witch set on bringing back a god and destroying the world, casual stuff) and regulus eventually taking his place as the 'sacrifice' for her ritual, but he escapes. turns out sirius has been alive all along and he's been in a spy network set on overthrowing the royals and saving his brother,,,but THIS idea i think is more angsty, more interesting and more dramatic SO the idea ive been sitting on is that sirius discovers walburga's plan to take over the world and bring back this god and is almost killed by her but escapes, then regulus gets basically hypnotised because he gets made into the sacrifice, shes training him to hold the body of this god essentially, and he has all these powers and he's lowkey evil but he's being controlled by his mother, and sirius finds remus on a farm and hes a blacksmith just trying to support his parents and maybe theres a bunch of sheep being killed because hes a werewolf,,,and sirius has cursed blood because of his family and he's got magic that he cant control and he has a DRAGON BITCH i love dragons,,and then james is an underground fighter (he was originally the farmer that remus is now) and lily is a princess that sneaks out to go to these fights and train and they help each other and she brings him back to his family because he was sold into fighting, its a whole deal, then DORLENE my god their story okay marlene is a runaway knight thats family was murdered and she's sworn to kill the person that did it and dorcas is part of an ancient witch coven that studies the elemental magics of 'the four founders' and its with pandora and mary and they basically take marlene in as their bodyguard for show, then bartylus,,oh bartylus, barty is hired as a royal spy by the queen to track down sirius but he falls for reg the longer he spends at the castle and vows to save sirius and get reg out of the control of his mother LIKE THATS SO MUCH BETTER WHEN I FOCUS ON MORE CHARACTERS I CANT anyway that was so long but maybe one day ill write a seperate jegulus fantasy au, i can see it working 100% and will never so no, but that story in particular is wolfstar

I saw that you allow suggestive fics 🤭🤭
Can we please have one with Tuxam, like reader is teasing him while he's on his break from his service with Tuxedo Sam (if he does take breaks that is) (͡°‿ ͡°) hehehehhe, thank you <3
Ahh thank you!! This is my first suggestive fic so I’m sorry if it doesn’t turn out well (,,>﹏<,,)!!
You consider yourself a very patient person, maybe even too patient, hell some might even call you a saint! When plans or dates are abruptly canceled at the last minute because your boyfriend has to work, you are more than understanding. Or when your boyfriend falls off the face or the earth due to work and doesn’t check in or call you, you once again, completely understand. Or when your boyfriend completely forgets to pick you up, —after promising you beforehand that he would—, because something at work came up, you still once again, understood.
But there comes a time in someone’s life, that being too patient and being too understanding, would one day run its course, and for you, that day is today. And while you knew realistically, that Tuxam wasn’t blowing you off on purpose, and that he really did have work to attend to, but for god’s sake, would it kill him to take a break from his service, every once in a while!
And as you made your way to the Strawberry Kingdom, bulldozing your way into the main entrance, scanning the room for Tuxam, you made sure to give him exactly that.
“Y/N, is that you? I wasn’t expecting you to come here today, is everything okay?” Tuxam asked in surprise, his eyebrows furrowed in faint concern, noticing how on edge you looked. You didn’t make it a habit to show up at his work unannounced or without telling him beforehand, so it was quite a shock and a bit worrisome to him.
Seeing the concerned expression on his face, did ease your annoyance and impatience from earlier, and you wondered if you were too hasty in your decision of confronting him head on.
However, as you stared at him a bit longer, those concerns quickly came to an end, as you took a really good look at him, a new set of emotions and urges took over you.
“Did he always look good in those tight leggings?” You thought to yourself, now no longer looking at his face, and instead, was blatantly checking him out.
You couldn’t help it, after all, when was the last time you two had some fun between the two of you? When was the last time he touched you? When was the last time you touched him? It seemed like your frustration with him earlier, didn’t seem to be stimming from just anger alone…
“Y-y/n…! Is there something you want?” Tuxam asked sheepishly, noticing how your attention shifted to his lower half.
You looked back at the knight in front you, who was now fully red in the face, barely able to make eye contact with you. And for a second, a slightly mischievous part of you wondered if he was just as red down there as his face was.
“Are you on your break?” You bluntly asked, avoiding his question, acting as if you weren’t blatantly checking him out and staring right at his bulge.
Subtly was never your thing, and while originally you were just planning to chew him out a new one for neglecting you so much. As you indulged further into your not so innocent thoughts, and noticed how just attractive he was in those tight leggings, a new idea popped into your head, an idea that would really show him just how needy you were.
“W-what? No, I’m not, I’m meeting with Hangyon right now actually, we’re supposed to be tallying up the fish population in the northern side of the blue bouquet” Tuxam answered, a bit caught off guard at how suddenly your mood seemingly changed from possibly agitated to gazing at him lustfully to acting nonchalant, in a span of three minutes.
“You look a bit tense, are you alright? Work hasn’t been too rough has it?” You asked softly, noticing the creases in his forehead deepening as he spoke.
While you knew Hangyon could care less about counting the fish population, and you were pretty certain that Tuxedo Sam did not ask Tuxam to do this, you knew that this was just how Tuxam is. How he always go above and beyond for the people he cares about, how he always so ambitious and driven when it came to fulfilling his knightly duties, it was one of the many reasons why you love him, and you hated to see him in so much stress, regardless if he did this to himself or not.
“Would you like me to give you a massage for your neck? It can help relieve the stress” You offered, before he could reply to your question.
Tuxam pondered at your suggestion, debating on whether he should take you up on your offer or not. On one hand, he had a lot of work to get to, but on the other hand, his neck has been killing him…
“I don’t know Y/N, I still have a lot of work to do and I don’t want to trouble you-“
“Oh come on! It’s no trouble at all, I’ll promise it’ll be quick, and you won’t even feel the pain in your neck, once I’m finished!” You promised hastily, knowing if you don’t act on it soon, you’ll lose your window of chance, the fact that he hasn’t bolted out the room already, is both of a shock and a pleasant surprise to you.
Before you could let him respond, you pushed him to the nearest chair, you placed your hands on him, starting to carefully massage his shoulders.
You felt him slowly starting to relax underneath you, a sigh of pleasure escaped his lips, when you started to apply more pressure. It was quiet, but you were certain that you heard it, a rush of excitement filled your body, as you wondered what other noises could you get him to make.
Your hands quickly traveled down his spine, carefully touching and groping every curve there is, under the guise of a “massage”. You pressed your chest on his back, practically leaning on top of him, you felt Tuxam breath hitched at the sudden contact of your body being so close to his.
“Y-y/n i don’t know if this appropriate, I still have a lot of work—Ah…!” A loud gasp escaped his lips, as your lips made contact with the back of his neck. He gripped the handles of his chair, biting his bottom to hold back his moans, as you continued your assaults on his neck.
You pulled back from his neck with a wet popping noise, taking a second to admire the hickey you left on his neck. Looking at the whimpering and shaking man beneath you, a thrill of excitement and pleasure rushed over you, as you roughly bended the smaller knight over the table in front of the chair that he was sitting in, his hat falling off his head and landing on the floor.
Your hot breath tickled his now bright red ears, and any thought or complaint he had before, were immediately shut down once he felt your body was fully on top of him.
“Is work really your biggest concern right now, Tuxam? Looks like I need to straighten that out…” You whispered in his ear, not missing just how flushed his face turned as you spoke. You slowly lifted his chin towards you, staring at his bright blue eyes that were once very anxious and stressed, now dazed and full of heat, and begging for you to take him.
You captured his lips with yours, and you were pleasantly surprised at the level of enthusiasm that you were met with. Even though Tuxam was not the tallest of his class, he was still a pretty strong knight at the end of the day, and if he wanted to, he would have no trouble flipping you over so he could leave for work, at any given moment.
So the fact that he not only stayed for this long, but was equally as needy and craved for this just as much as you did, made your heart flutter. You didn’t realize the growing insecurity that was looming over you about the state of your relationship, but as you felt Tuxam whimpering underneath you and trying to chase your lips, once you pulled away, you knew everything would be okay.
“You’re so loud Tuxam, do you really want the whole castle to hear you? That’s not very knightly of you~” You teased. Before he could retort, a loud moan escaped from his lips as you grind your hips against him, which only seemed to excite you and motivate you further.
As you quickly unbuckled his pants, pulling the waistband, exposing his rear end, Tuxam closed his eyes shut, fully aware that he was not going to be able to get back to work at all. And while usually, the thought of not completing work would put him over the edge, but today he didn’t mind at all.
For he has learned that maybe it’s not so bad taking a break from his duties every once and a while… especially if this is what’s in store for him when he does, then he might be inclined to take even more breaks.
