Le Jardin '21

This laminated post card offers a glimpse across the river. A little more than a decade after the war, the eastern bank is already fully renovated. The hillsides are lush with gardens and residences, someone's parked a small beige airship by the fountain. This postcard will sell for a pretty penny.

Grand Couron '37

This postcard depicts an ill-advised residential area overlooking the Jamrock Quarter. 13-story buildings line the hillside like sarcophagi, an ominous fog already rising from behind. These are the last boom years -- in '39 the project fails catastrophically, leaving behind an opiate and hepatitis B infested slum.

Martinaise '98

A faded picture postcard from the end of the last century shows Martinaise as was before the Revolution. It's the height of summer, Rue de Saint-Ghislaine is teeming with parasol-wielding bourgeoisie and Wild Pines flags buttress the walkway. Nothing is written on the back.

This one has 'HELL' written on its back. It could not be further from the truth. It's the boom years, and Couron, the nicest district in Revachol West, is enjoying a sun drenched day. Missed Opportunities: One Piece #3 [Fandom edition]

So Luffy, Sabo and Ace as brothers are called ASL. But a lot of people in the fandom like to add more people to their brotherhood. The most popular of them, of course, is Uta. But the initials ASL with the added U to make ASUL or ASLU just don't sound the same. With these letters, we also can't create any other word that can make up for the acronym made for age.

BUT, there is another girl in canon who has been recognized as a sibling by both Luffy and Ace. The only problem is that she's much younger, so it's harder to add her to their childhood bond. I'm talking about Kurozumi Tama! Known mostly by the name O-Tama.

By adding T to the other letters {A,S,L,U} we can create the word SALUT.

The word salute is commonly used as a greeting (both as a hello and a farewell)! However, the full meaning of the word is slightly different.

Salut is used to express good wishes or friendly feelings before drinking. (Mainly as a toast to good health, but some cultures also use it to express a greeting or honor to someone. The latter is also used in the military and can be used to honor a grandfather figure if needed.)

Also, salute acts as a short version of the word salvation. It can be explained as the act (process) of saving (or being saved), rescuing (in any context), providing needed security or liberation.

Somehow this meaning fits so well with their relationship. They all want to follow different paths, so they will only meet when their paths cross. This means that they will support each other throughout their lives - saying hello and goodbye on the way to their destinations. Their bond is also tied to their inner peace. It is something they can lean on in a moment of need. Additionally, ASL canonically used alcohol to affirm their brotherhood. So it can be said that by establishing this bond through alcohol, they all want a perfect future for each other!

One Piece characters that i never wanna see again

very similar to my “characters i desperately need more of,” i’ve chosen one character from (almost) every arc that i never want to see again and despise. not much else to say, so let get into it !! :)

Kumate Tribe

technically, they’re not one character, they’re multiple, but still. this tribe as characterized as a “savage” cannibalistic tribe that tries to eat buggy’s crew and it actually drives me insane. oda redeems himself with the shandians, but these guys are super racist. as a native guy i just can’t let them slide.

Miss Goldenweek

i think her real name is marianne. she. she drove me insane. i remember being so annoyed during her arc. looking back, her hypnosis functioned a lot like persona’s ghosts, in the way that she debilitated anyone she targeted through emotions. that being said, the way it was executed was less funny like it was with perona, and more frustrating and annoying. luffy kept fighting her without knowing her power, and it got repetitive really quick :/

he is the worst actually. he’s a colonial genocidal freak that is the physical embodiment of cultural appropriation. every time he talked it literally drove me insane. i was waiting for luffy to kick the shit outta him and took way too long 💀 imagine being a colonizer and having stretched ears. LAME !!

Spandam

this man is so unnecessarily violent and disgusting. the way he treated robin made me want to vomit. it was honestly so hard for me to watch. i don’t even remember what happens to him but i hope he dies like 1000 times. i hope he goes to super hell.

Absalom

filth. absolute scum of the earth. the most wretched awful man ever. he is disgusting. i will never forgive him for what he did to robin, and what he did to nami ?!?? despicable. i feel like i need a thesaurus just so i can call him every vile word in the world. what piece of shit.

an actual pedophile. he is so disgusting. probably the most morally fucked one piece character i have met so far, and caesar clown drugs babies. if this man came to my house i would beat the shit out of him so hard. he’s the reason i made this damn list.

greasy. slimey. LITERALLY MADE OF SWAMPY MUD. disgusting. his tongue thing never fails to gross me out, i can’t stand him. he’s also like a terrible guy. he kidnaps a bunch of women for human trafficking. he’s so freaky in the worst ways possible.
