North Yungas Road, Bolivia: The Yungas Road, popularly known as The Death Road, is a 64-kilometre long cycle route linking the city of La Paz with the Yungas region of Bolivia. It was conceived in the 1930s by the Bolivian government to connect the capital city of La Paz with the Amazon Rainforest in the north part of the country. Large parts of it were built by Paraguayan prisoners during the Chaco War. Several sections of the road are less than 3 metres wide, and due to presence of rain, fog, landslides, cascades, steep slopes and cliffs that drop more than 610 meters or 2000 feet, it is largely considered the most dangerous road in the world. Moot you said something that left me a bit confused, you said America is separated by two parts, North and South, but I've always learned that it was actually separated in 3 parts, North America, Central America and South America 🤔
i am such a moron i was thinking of just continents but yeah i should have also said central america. i was not on my a-game yesterday lmao
#scott has answered#my brain was not working damn#we kinda learn both ways? idk how to describe it#like we’ll get taught north/south but then in context we’ll be taught central#tbh i feel like central america could be its own continent. like australia is a continent. what are the rules for making them#like that cgp grey video where he’s like if it’s a matter of being separated by land you gotta count europe asia and africa as one big thing#sorry this got so off topic. yeah i was thinking continents but i should have said central america as well
