My reflection in this quarter is, I had a lot of trouble, with almost no rest at work always at home because I have to accompany my father to manila, because he can easily get tired so he invites me to accompany him and I drive by car, sometimes we leave in the morning especially when I do not go to online classes then we can go home sometimes 10 AM, when I go home rest a little then do my precal and earth science modules, I do not sometimes finish because my eyes can no longer afford to stay awake, and here in the subject (Media and information literacy) I learned a lot just like how to use Media in the eyes and what the Media does to help people, and in activities like posting activities on tumblr it is not difficult to do but sometimes I forget because I no longer I know what to prioritize if I will make a module or subject now so I have a lot of problems with what to do in this subject, but in other subjects I can somehow catch up with the tasks.

What si new Media?

The New Media Institute defines new media as a catchall term used to define all that is related to the internet and the interplay between technology, images and sound. That's in contrast to old media, which PCMag defines as all forms of communication that came before digital technology, including radio and TV and printed materials such as books and magazines.

Evolution of Media

The article suggests an explanation for the emergence of new media. Media are not merely the consequence of technical inventions, but derive from a two-stage process of inventing and ‘social institutionalizing’. The technical invention just improves on the old media: for example, Gutenberg improved writing, films improved older optical media and wireless improved wired telegraphy. In the next phase of innovation, new media become institutionalized: now, new media such as the periodical press, motion pictures and broadcasting emerge. A process of ‘social institutionalizing’ changes the invented media fundamentally. Society ‘institutionalizes’ inventions by discovering new possibilities of communication; it adopts and formats new media. The theoretical approach suggested in this article combines evolution theory with Joseph Schumpeter’s distinction between invention and innovation. The article deals with the competitive media history of press, telegraphy, film, radio, television and multimedia. It provides a survey of the emergence of new media with respect to social, political, cultural, economic and technical debates.

Every people have a different kind of thinking although we're the same have a brain, but it doesn't mean we're the same the way of thinking. This photo shows a different kind of thinking of individual. Some fact, there are two kinds of thinker one is fast thinker the second one is slowly thinker. So this two kind of thinker is an example of this photo. Fast thinker, it is the person who think faster than the other, full of ideas and thoughts, very fast receiver an idea. On the other hand, this kind of thinker is an alpha kid, so smart and faster thinking. While the other one is slowly thinker, it is kind of a person who not actually good learner, if you are teacher you must understand they're situation, some of this kind of person needs more explanation or example, slowly teaching is better for them to understand and to clarify of what the teacher talking about. This kind of person is an example of enforgrow means needs more grow up and improvement.
