I never have been more scared at the hospital than when I was asked for my preferred pronouns and name. My blood pressure spiked like crazy and I was so worried I couldn’t say anything. The nurse was so nice but damn it if that doesn’t say something about the state of my state that a question that should be about human dignity feels like a trap.

Person who just got my AO3 account suspended for actual bullshit reasons that you would have had to troll through every single thing I’ve ever posted looking for potential violations, only one of which even comes close.

(One of the listed violations was me telling readers how to find SOMEONE ELSE’S PAID CORPORATE WORK for information purposes, not promoting myself or other fan content creators.)

Anyway. Yeah. I’m looking at you. I hope you can feel how hard I’m staring at you right now.

Because right now, a lot of OTHER people are staring hard at you, too, since it means I can’t post new content, and, oh yeah, AO3 is currently thinking of leaving my account suspended for a year.

That feeling when you are followed on social media by a very prominent figure in your field who happens to be a part-time resident in your state (ie, a "snowbird") who continually bitches about political things in your state but, you know, is still registered to vote in their other, more liberal state that doesn't technically need their help

...and you decide fuck it and go on a rant about it.

idk I just don't feel like you get to complain about things if you don't put your economic and political weight behind helping the full-time residents improve those things? might be just me. Change your voter registration to Florida and help us elect better people or shut the fuck up.

Alright today January 16th has been horrible. With a large windstorm this morning I lost a tree onto my roof. From what I was able to see it didn’t do major damage but I need to get it removed ASAP so I can tell. Normally I’m able to do this kind of work myself but COVID has made it so I don’t feel steady enough to do it. Even climbing the ladder today almost made me pass out. So I need help to hire a tree service because I can’t risk roof damage. Please help because this is time sensitive.

I’m ready to just give up. The car gave up the ghost again and I cannot fix it. To be able to afford anything I need help. I’ve sold what I can to keep us in a rental for the next two weeks but after that I just don’t know what to do. I have to be able to get Dad to appointments at the VA and myself to dialysis. The vehicles that are out there are so much more than they should be that I’m not too proud to admit I’ve been brought to tears more than once. Anything at this point helps.
