anyone else think the Shadow Fold is a deeply stupid name? "the Unsea" isn't much better, but it doesn't bring to mind a crumpled black piece of construction paper. even "the Black Gash" would be better. Really hammer home how people view it as a violation of nature (which it is) and a place to be feared. I'm not scared of the "Shadow Fold."

I'm not scared of either, and to be fair- I find the Unsea kinda cool.

I've never had an issue with Shadow Fold, if anything, it reminds me of a sex position I found on Kama Sutra cards. But then again, English isn't my first language and Czech translation makes me uncomfortable, so...

No offence, but Black Gash feels like something a child would say to describe it quickly. The official name should be something a cartographer might come up with, since they likely already existed, when the Fold was created. Ordinary peasants might call it whatever they want. If anything I'm surprised we never hear anything like "Devil's arsehole".

Love that the Weekend Whip exists in universe bc not only does it imply that the in-universe members of the Fold got the dance moves from Quanish’s ancient prophecy but also just imagine you’re the Ninja.
