"...THIS GENETICALLY ENGINEERED SUPER-SOLDIER GONE AWRY HAS A MONSTROUS PHYSIQUE..."
PIC(S) INFO: Mega spotlight on The Creech eight inch action figure by McFarlane Toys, straight from the pages of Greg Capullo’s comic book of the same name, this genetically engineered super-soldier gone awry has a monstrous physique with whipping tendrils. Part of Spawn Series 12, "The Creech" was released in September 1998.
BRAND: Spawn
GENRE: Comics
PRODUCT TYPE: Action Figure
SERIES: SPAWN Series 12
MINI-BIO: "The Creech is a massive powerhouse genetically engineered to be a super soldier for a secret agenda...but The Creech has an agenda of his own. He seeks to find out why his world was turned inside out. Who ripped the choice of a normal life from his soul and declared it their own? His questions will not come without pain. "Empathy Chain"
Fanart for Greg Capullo´s “The Creech”. The man was a big influence on young me (being a huge “Spawn” fan) I would perhaps not draw today if it wasn´t for him. Illustrating how empathy is the soul of fiction, how we pour ourselves into different avatars/vessels as we read and thus make the read thing come alive. "The reader read the words one by one and thus arrived at the end of the sentence"

October 29th
aka, me losing all the money I had saved up for this trip because the autism joy got triggered.
Went to the Sherlock Holmes museum first! It’s this gorgeous 19th century building all filled with Victorian antiques and full of references to the books!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And would you know… THEY MENTION THE LADS IN THE MUSEUM!!!!!!!!! PETER CUSHING EVEN HAS HIS OWN BUST!!

We bought a bunch of goodies in the gift shop, but most importantly I got my own deerstalker and a plushy friend!

The underground station at Baker Street also pays homage to Holmes, most notably with his statue and the tile art at the station itself. Of course Tiny Tarkin had to pose there!

After this, we went to the Waterstones and HMV where I bought a bunch of DVD’s and Blu-Rays for my collection, as well as a Hammer book!!!! After taking a quick nap we took an evening stroll in Hyde Park, trying to find the place where the carriage scene from Dracula ad 1972 was shot! We actually walked there with screencaps from the scene with us so we could compare lolllll. We think we found the bridge they cross in the beginning, but then again, the film was shot more than 50 years ago so a lot has changed since then. Ducky Drac and his brothers had a fun time though! The bats were even out!

After this, we went back to the apartment to unwind and rest up for tomorrow.
