Anyone else have a favorite serial killer, or just me?
The City Beautiful by Aden Polydoros is inspired by the United States' first recorded serial killer, H.H. Holmes. He built a murder hotel for the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago. Holmes was a con artist and serial killer who swindled people out of their life insurance money and then murdered them. I find the whole story fascinating.
This book, like most featured in RC boxes, is on my tbr. 😅 So many books, so little time, right?
