Final Bug Fact:

The world NEEDS bugs. They keep the soil healthy, pollinate, control pests, and contribute to the worlds' ecosystem. By the end of the century, it is estimated 40% of insect species may go extinct due to habitat loss. Yes, that is very scary. But with even one beetle spared, one caterpillar rescued, and one Hollow Knight comic of all things, things will change. Because I know there's a lot more Dewi's out there than most people realize. Stay curious.

Comic Thoughts and Pictures Below!

I wanted to put here how amazing and sweet everyone has been with this comic. I finished a 75 page comic in 3 MONTHS. I am at a loss for words. That sounds crazy and it IS crazy. But man was it fun. Even on days were I wasn't able to draw due to fatigue or business, I loved working on it from start to finish. And guess what!? This is my first ever FINISHED comic :D I'm so proud of myself. I know there's some things I want to change and the art is wonky in most places...... but I'm content to let it be. What an amazing summer adventure!

I'm hoping to post the full comic on another Comic website. I may or may not edit some of the art ^w^ So I'll let y'all know when I release it.

Interested in learning what you could do to help your local insects? This is the basic stuff. Maybe make some Insect Hotels if you have the time!!! And never forget to spread the word about bugs. They need our help just as any animal on earth.

walking into my rhodes island office, hanging up my coat, pushing W and Ines off my desk, wiping off the blood, and opening a message from Kal that says 'kill yourself' and then is followed by 'ignore that last message'. I nod thoughtfully and ignore that last message. I take a sip of my coffee. It's Muelsyse. I spit her out into the sink. I open the cabinet and get a new mug. Ho'olheyak is in the cabinet. I sit down at my desk and respond affirmatively to the email from Platnium asking me if Gravel has been bothering me. (This gets them into a subtext filled deathmatch, which is enrichment in their enclosure.) I respond to Amiya's last cute text emoji with a ':P', which she likes within 10 seconds. I clock out. I get a beer with Hoederer and Pallas. They get into a poetry battle in 3 different languages. 5 minutes of downtime. 6 hours of brooding on the landship considering the burden of the world (in the rain.) Amiya shows up with an umbrella eventually. She asks me how my day was. I say: good.

There's not really any specific meaning behind this picture. Other than I guess the fact that Bella wasn't meant to stick around after her initial adventure so now Caine doesn't really know how to interact with her. <XDD That, and I wanted to show my Caines signature long coattails :00

I tried a bolder/more clear watermark and placed it in a more inconvenient/harder to crop area. I hope my work is still easy to see despite this. Not sure what I'll draw next :0 Mostly just wanna see how this post makes me feel <:)

Hi shit is dire I'm still jobless and broke and my parents are divorcing. Apperantly my father is going to disown me and my sister so financially the situation is absolutely fucked, especially for her because she is too disabled to work and even on good commission days I can't fully support her so I would just like to finally reach this goal for the survival fund for both of our sakes... Incorrect, the fact that Biden has dropped out and a candidate with history of supporting medicare for all and being more receptive to a ceasefire in the I/P conflict has made me go from "I cannot morally support the Democratic nominee" to "I am voting for the Democratic nominee despite the fact she isn't perfect in every respect." I'm really happy this played out. The Dems for the most part abandoned the old Obama platform and it feels like its possible an actual progressive agenda could come to pass in my lifetime.

I hope this situation is resolved quickly. I hope Quackity and the cc’s are able to work to make conditions better. But in the meantime, we as an audience are going to need to be prepared for some things.

What things, you ask? Well, to begin, this situation is very similar to what happens when an unprotected labor force (in this case the admins/devs/etc) begins to communicate and band together for better working conditions (eg unions). The higher ups don’t want this. The higher ups are going to do anything and everything in their power to prevent this from happening. The higher ups WANT this labor force to be unprotected because it means that they can continue to take advantage of them and make more money off of their work. As more and more former (and, hopefully, current) admins begin to speak out, I can guarantee you that the higher ups will work to silence those still involved with the project as much as they can. If they think one of the current admins is giving out information or is about to go forward with their story, they will remove them first.

If this happens-if an egg admin suddenly stops showing up or shows up acting different than they normally do-it is because the higher ups have chosen to silence them rather than fix the underlying problem.

If this happens: WE NEED TO SHOW OUR SUPPORT.

If this turns into an actual strike on the side of the admins (which I feel would take the form of NONE of them showing up which would remove a majority of this server’s content and generate high audience support-and that’s without getting into a strike on the side of the building devs/writers/etc) we need to remember to support them. That means being vocal about what we want to see (better conditions) and letting those higher ups know that we stand with the workers.

If this becomes a strike-and I dearly hope it does-we as an audience need to support it and understand that the content we are used to may not be able to happen for an extended period of time. That’s the entire POINT of a strike; it’s disruptive.

This got away from me a little, but I think it’s important to note. I hope to fucking god that this situation is resolved quickly in favor of the admins. They have put too much time, effort, and soul into this project for some assholes in middle management to give them jack shit in return.
