Recently, a friend asked if she was hard to get along with because she can never seem to make friends at work after over 10 years of working in the same school. But having worked with her as well I can assure you she is at least part of the problem, but she was not mentally or emotionally in the right place to hear that so I had to lie 🤷🏽‍♂️

Night by Elie Wiesel. That book has so many parts that are just unforgettable. I remember reading the part where they arrive by box car at the concentration camp and they’re so hungry and thirsty that they start eating snow off of each other’s shoulders. Something about that was just so haunting and visceral it has stuck with me for like 15+ years.
