Aaaaaaaah unfortunately that's something I still struggle deeply with to this day. Especially right now (sorta going through a bit of a crisis with my art). I know I shouldn't really care that much about what people think about my work, but I do! A lot! It sucks! Especially when it's work of something I love a lot and do for fun. It's a constant thought of "how am I being perceived by these people right now, how will I be if I post this-" etc etc., while also feeling like I'm not letting myself have fun like I want to because "I'm doing it wrong". It's...a lot. But genuinely, seeing how much people enjoy my work, even my dumb stuff, it does make me feel better about what I want to share. Hopefully I can overcome that part that cringes a little more in the future and just, focus on the fun.

Thank you. I suppose venting to a handful of strangers won't hurt anything. I attended MK's karaoke night, despite my personal reservations, and I was pleasantly surprised. I went shopping with Mei on the same day and she bought us matching dresses.

She did my makeup, I did hers, and we waited for MK and Uncle Wukong to show up at her house. MK is an incredible singer. I suspect he gets it from his father, the Pig Demon.

It was honestly lovely. It was the best day I've had in a while. A long while.

When I returned to the Demon Bull Fortress, Mother informed me that tomorrow I was required to attend a "diplomatic relations meeting" with the daughter of some demon.

I'd never admit it to someone who knows me, but I despise those kinds of things. I have experience with acting like royalty, but very little patience for it.

But I'd just had the best night of my life, so I didn't complain.

The next day, I arrived to this "meeting" to find that Mother had set me up ON A DATE. I was required to act like I wanted to be there, which was impossible.

In all fairness to the demoness I went out with, my previous posts about her were made in a bout of what could generously be called a fit of anger. I was simply upset that my mother would disapprove of my choices so vehemently.

She hates my friends so much that instead of telling me not to see them, she REPLACES THEM WITHOUT MY CONSENT.

I haven't talked to Mei or MK since. Clearly, Mother would disapprove. I assume they're resigned to it, because they haven't tried to talk to me either.

Oh, thank you - I'm so glad you enjoyed the Alice X P one!

This actually made me realise that it never occured to me to put P in wonderland! I think because of the way Alice Madness Returns ends, I couldn't see a way to make the timelines fit neatly. I suppose P could discover Wonderland accidentally whilst in Krat, and they could meet up there - which could be quite fun, now that I think about it.

The fic that I actually toyed with writing for a while would be them both in London and more along the track the games went of Wonderland being a psychological coping mechanism for Alice. It would be fun to explore how P/Carlo (not so much Sir Carlo) would work as normal boys.

Unfortunately, it feels like too many ideas and too little time lately. I'm desperately working on two original novels that I'd love to get out to literary agents by the end of the year, as well as half a dozen other fanfics. So I'm only really getting around to writing things that are quick, or live in my head so long I have to get them out.

Never say never though!

i hit 1k followers recently!!!! yipee!!!!!!! thank you all!!! so in celebration here’s all of my completed isat doodle pages, from oldest to newest. go nuts with them!! and maybe don’t look at the first doodle page too closely. it’s Old.

ok but seriously, thank you all so much for all the support. i never really. expected to make it this far? like, ever?? i’ve mentioned it a few times on here, but i’ve been a lurker for the past… 2 years, i think? and even before that, i never gained much traction outside of a couple posts. so this has been. very new to me!! in a nice way!! it’s weird to feel like an actual member of a community!! that people know about!

the idea of finally coming back to social media was Daunting (i literally got stress hives writing my first post lol) and the warm reception really. meant a lot?? i don’t think i would’ve ever gotten the courage to come back if i hadn’t been encouraged to by the people over at the isat discord!!

the fact that people actually care about my art still doesn’t feel real?? seeing people take inspiration from my art is just. surreal. just. auagssh. thank you all so so much for everything, i really do appreciate it!!! i’m really glad to be in this community. sorry if this all sounds sappy and long winded i’ve just got a lot of emotions about this whole thing!!

the heavy want grows in their chest and is absolutely undeniably there whenever you two even just briefly touch. when you’re so close that they’re so desperate have you closer, wanting to feel their body pressed against yours in a tight embrace, that the thought of your hand in theirs is barely enough. when you two finally hug, or whenever you do, they sink into your embrace almost immediately, a deep sigh of content heard as they wrap their arms around you to return the tender hug. it’s a little hard to get their arms off you afterward, with those small mumbles of “just a little longer” and “i don’t want to let go yet.”

maybe they’re super embarrassed about feeling so at first and are so glad whenever you indulge in their desire to have you, to feel your warmth. or they’re incredibly stubborn about it but their actions always say otherwise, finding every little chance to have their skin touch yours, to quietly tug on your sleeve or any other sign that you immediately know what they want with it.

eitherway they’re forever thankful that you’re so understanding. with the little touches you guys end up doing like from simply pushing a strand of hair behind an ear or running fingers through each other’s hair, they’re absolutely addicted. smitten, even, so incredibly much that they can’t put their love for this, for you into words.
