in all seriousness more people in this world need to appreciate the sheer spectacle of brazilian carnaval parade battles. the amount of time, effort, money, coordination and creativity that goes into these is insane. so much culture and history behind each and every part of it, each school with its own unique portrayal year after year. I would watch these on tv as a kid with starry eyes and to this day they never cease to amaze me. look at this shitttt!!!!! and that's not even counting the music!
