To Hestia, Both First and Last

I began this project 6 months ago and it is finally finished. It would have been finished much sooner if it hadn't been for my move to South Carolina - but at long last I have completed this piece.

Every stitch was done individually (this can be more easily seen in the 3rd picture), as opposed to to each line being a single stitch. This was done both for how it made the final product look, and as an act of painstaking devotion.

I am so pleased with how it turned out; and I held a special offering ceremony last night - to present the finished product to Lady Hestia.

I am so grateful for the home that I have, and the life that I lead, and neither would be possible without the Great Goddess of Hearth and Home.

Have you ever wondered what Arch-Curate Vyrthur would look like with normal eyes? We found this in the game files (and this was actually not Vyrthur's model) 👇

There are 7 Snow Elf models in Skyrim files in total - Gelebor, Vyrthur and 5 Prelates in ghost form (Sidanyis, Athring, Celegriath, Nirilor, Edhelbor).

Me and my friend @guiquart were curious about how those Snow Elves look like without ghost skin. But in the game files we found something very unexpected.

When we removed the ghost skin and looked at the standard textured models, it turned out that one of them, Prelate Sidanyis, was actualy Arch-Curate Vyrthur but with normal eyes. This is what Vyrthur would look like if he wasn't a vampire (and I personally think he looks beautiful, kind and charming).

Those vampire eyes change his appearance so much, don't they? He is like baby/evil here.

Moreover, they all had these pale red robes as temple clothes.

Thrals Indoril is the chief Justice of Mournhold at the time of the 3E, an extremely unpleasant personality, cruel in his justice (partly inspired by inspector Javert, if you know what I mean).

Velina Indoril (I have her as an eco-character, a fiery woman, I'm serious) is a loving mother, whose child her own husband gave to the Temple at the age of ten (her child Garvus Indoril is a key character in the Nerevarin story, so his fate has several versions...)

I have a huge number of headcounts about the inner workings of the Tribunal Temple, and perhaps, this is a rather cruel story about how fanatical faith can lead to the erasure of identity in the Garvus' case.
