It upsets me how little ADHD Dani Rojas fanfics there are and how little people are talking about this. This man literally is the poster child for ADHD. LIKE CMON.

i love the moment in s1 where sassy tells rebecca that while rupert may have built the tower she was isolated in, rebecca was the one who chose to climb those steps by herself. as someone who was in a similar relationship as rebecca had with rupert, i find that so strangely cathartic. yes, he was abusive. yes, i blame him for a lot haha. but i also chose to do a lot on my own, and i can't pin those things on him. every time i see that part, it's a good reminder to me that i need to still be accountable for my wrongs, not just focus on his. it's strangely empowering to be reminded to take accountability, own my part, and be better. ted lasso is just so great for so many reasons, and even the smallest lines find ways to nestle their way into my soul. i love rebecca's storyline, and it surprises me to see my similarities with her, but i'm excited to see where her journey continues to go. i hope we continue to grow together ◡̈

I'm still on season 1 and I haven't seen much of Trent, so I'm not sure what his canonical sexuality is but he def has a very gay slut outfit.

not only has she been a producer (s1), co executive producer (s2), and executive producer (s3), but she has also written three (3) of my FAVORITE episodes of Ted Lasso!

season 1 she wrote “for the children”

season 3 she wrote “signs”

honestly if you can look me in the eyes and tell me those 3 episodes haven’t changed your life than i don’t know what to tell you

don’t know fully what the point of this is i just think for a show celebrating Boss Ass Bitches we should appreciate the Boss Ass Bitches that actually, ya know…make the show???

ok i have watched episodes eight and nine of Ted Lasso from the times of two days ago to now and i have some stuff to say.

first off, i love Keeley and Roy’s relationship, the end of episode eight with them getting together and stuff is great. i like that when Roy asks Keeley out on a date, the day after he was ignoring her which caused her to sleep with Jamie, it didn’t cause a bunch of stupid drama with her keeping it from him and shit, she just told him point blank and they dealt with it, it’s extremely refreshing cause i hate that trope in tv.

also, Roy has become one of my favorite characters. i don’t know if it’s his dialogue or his actions and the way they are resolved or if i just really like Brett Goldstein as this character but whatever the reason, he’s my favorite and i want good things for him.

now for the good stuff.

Rebecca finally telling Ted about all the shit she’s pulled and her trying to right some of the wrongs in a way was done really well and i really liked it. i don’t know how to put it into words exactly. Rupert coming to her and saying him and Bex were having a baby being the final straw for her was something that didn’t click until a few minutes later, when she went to Higgen’s house. but it makes sense, her realizing that destroying the club wasn’t going to make Rupert’s life hell like she wanted it to and seeing that in doing it she was jeopardizing her relationships with the only people who have stuck by her during the aftermath of the scandal was very satisfying and done so well it’s weird.

also the confrontation with Rebecca and Ted was so good i can’t believe it. Ted forgiving Rebecca just like that, with any other characters would have been terrible. but since it’s Ted it’s in character and i think it was the only way they could have done it well.

also (again) i’m just gonna say that everyone in this show is a fucking good actor. they all bring so much personality and charm to these characters it’s crazy. the emotional moments as well are so good, i can almost feel their emotions through the screen (i know it’s so cheesy i hate myself for it but it’s true)

ok i’ve rambled enough, im very excited to watch the season finale so i’ll do that soon.
