my lab rats hyperfixation came back and i've been doing some thinking ever since

so from the start of the show there have been multiple references to comic book heroes especially dc references

(leo saying "my new dad is batman" in the first episode and douglas calling chase "boy wonder", referencing to robin)

well since mighty med ans lab rats take place in the same universe, mighty med characters are also comic book characters and dc is a comic book series, are they in the same universe?

no because imagine superman and tecton in the same room😭😭

or bruce with his "brucie" wayne personality being "friends" with donald davenport(they cant stand eachother)

donald davenport would 100% sell his inventions to lex luthor for a really pricy deal

or chase, bree, adam and leo going to same school with tim, bernard and darla lmao

i think adam would listen and add onto bernards theories(leo would call him delusional but also would be interested)

bernard made a theory about them being bionic but darla shut it down('i told you so' and 'aha i knew it!' were the first things he said when he found out about the truth)

darla would absolutely eat trent up i just know it

young justice and elite force team up with tim and bree/chase seeing eachother and going like the spiderman meme

damian and leo being friends(lethal duo warning!!)

also damian would've believed leo during the whole marcus fiasco

talia and horace both know eachother from being in the same field(medical) they are the type of friends who say hi and talk like 4 hours when they run into eachother but then dont talk until the next time

bree would've loved exploring her girlhood with cass, steph, harper and babs(and darla) since she never got to

marcus, taylor, rose and jason would get along very well and love talking shit about their fathers🥰

i think daniel would love duke(they played video games together later on duke let daniel absorb his powers and tried to teach him how to control it exactly)

taylor, damian, leo is a trio i would die to see tbh i think they would get along well

cassandra and skylar teaming up with eachother would be absolutely amazing. i think they would work together so well

Bionic Soldier ranting

I want to talk to you guys (Lab Rats and Mighty Med fandoms) about what aggravated me when I was younger, which is: the Bionic Soldiers. Not the way you’re probably thinking, but the way, that is a little difficult to explain? Let’s get to the point, I wanted to see them be evil more than it was shown. I feel that the storyline for them to become bionic students felt too rushed in my opinion. I feel like we should have a gradual shift to Taylor and her brothers/sisters as it did with Douglas.

In addition, I wanted to see a scene in which S-3/Sebastian had a fight with Chase or Leo, or something like that...but yeah, I’m almost done yapping here, it felt really rushed to be four seasons. I mean, there could have been a fifth season and I wouldn’t have seen anything wrong in it, like a possible fourth season of Mighty Med. The creators who decided to have Mighty Med destroyed off camera…count your days, but that’s another deep dive for another day.

I’m planning to make a collection of fanfics in a canon divergence au where it takes time to creep into the whereabouts of the soldiers and everything else too. I could do that for Mighty Med too!

Krane kids headcannons

For starters, the ammount of krane kids is ambiguous in the show. So in my rewrite, Krane made 150, though roughly 1/3 of them didn't work or survive. This explains the large age gaps between kids and how the number of them seems to fluctuate. Also I hate Krane and he's a terrible person so I fear this is something he'd realistically do. (There's currently 98 of them at the academy. All others are assumed dead.)

They're all genetically engineered, not born like Douglas's kids. Krane originally mixed in some of his own DNA, but eventually stopped in favor of sciency shit. Only S's 1 through like 30 actually have his dna.

The kids have a lot of health complications because of the way they were created, which is why the Davenports couldn't just disable their bionics and had the make the academy. Their bionics are what keep them alive or functioning.

Oh, also the upgrade didn't make them immediately master all their bionics, it just excelled their learning process. There needs to be a reason for Leo and Adam to actually be at the academy at the end of season 4.

As always this will be in alphabetic order.

Bob (S-103)

- terrible short term memory due to blocking out trauma

- Krane messed up the geoleaping code for him and accidently cause the bug that made him be able to levitate instead

- since he's the only kid able to, Krane did extra experiments on him :(

- very bad separation anxiety, Adam is the only one who picked up on it and now rarely leaves his side

- has no problem making friends, literal definition of social butterfly

- a little too impressionable. He's gotten in trouble plenty of times because spin convinced him to do something stupid.

- can and will flirt with anyone and everyone, often times doesn't even realise he's coming off that way.

- has eyesight problems and needs glasses or contacts but refuses to wear them.

- colourblind (canon) deuteranamoly (because it's the kind I have lol)

Kate (S-084)

- along with the commando app, she's got a version of super intelligence including senses, forcefield, and magnetism

- Douglas was unable to fully remove her commando app without side effects, so she still has it

- spent some time with Chase after Spike V Spikette and actually started to bond a bit.

- unfortunately learned that the commando apps are always semi-active in the background and tend to try and activate when they sense another commando app nearby, so they can't hang out for long without going Spike.

- her commando app latched onto how she viewed her sibling being treated by Krane (specifically the younger ones like Spin and Bob) and tends to be a little overprotective of them as a result, even when it's not active.

- renamed Spikette to Thorn

- there have been multiple occasions of Thorn and Spike causing chaos in the academy when Chase comes to visit

- got to keep her sonic scream despite Douglas trying to remove it once he realized her commando was still active (he didn't want to overload her chip)

Logan (S-061)

- big into music, Leo showed him some bands that he immediately fell in love with and won't shut up about- high functioning autism

- had a phat crush on Leo for a couple months but eventually got over it. That was, however, his gay awakening.

- can't grow facial hair for the life of him but has always wanted to.

- his bionics didn't fit into any one category and he's always felt kind of out of place because of that

- really bad fomo causes him to be kind of annoying or inserting himself into conversations and situations he isn't a part of.

- very extroverted, loves making plans with people even if it's just something as simple as lunch

- his love language is gift giving and he makes arts and crafts for his siblings and friends periodically.

Sebastian (S-003)

- S's 001, 002, and 003 were originally Kranes only soldiers, his version of Adam Bree and Chase.

- Krane actually told S's 001, 002, and 003 about the virus he made, not just Taylor

- he has a photographic memory, and even though it was erased after the triton app stopped effecting him, Chases mention of Krane restored his memory settings.

- he knew about all the bad shit Krane had done, but believed in his cause and chose to ignore the abuse in favour of standing with his father

- he genuinely liked Chase, and thought he could convince him to switch sides. Of course, that didn't work out.

- his bionics were disabled after Bionic Rebellion, but Gao broke him out of jail after Space Colony and made him a new chip (similar to Marcus's ability set, though he lacks pretty much any of ABC's hidden abilities. Just speed, strength, laser vision, and any of his previous abilities before Chase hacked his chip.)

Spin (S-137)

- the youngest of the surviving Krane kids (at least the ones still alive)

- the only boy given super speed. Krane did this to combat a muscular disease he had in his legs.

- he was originally designated to have the strength chip, but Krane kinda Frankensteined two chips together for him, hoping the super speed would help his disorder

- has trouble walking when his bionics aren't active, typically uses hand crutches.

- wants independence but doesn't really know how to be independent because he's always had his siblings to look after him

- voted most likely to bite Davenports ankles, which he's done at least twice.

- in addition to super speed and his cylone ability, he has some weak enhanced lung capacity from his first chip, but struggles to use it unless his adrenaline levels are crazy high

- sneaks out a lot to go hang out on the mainland.

Taylor (S-001)

- big sister energy now that she's back with her siblings. Intimidating as fuck despite her injury

- even before the accident she had failing eyesight unless her bionics were in use.

- takes a lot of responsibility on the island when Leo and Adam are back in Mission Creek.

- gets along well with Perry, views her as a parental figure.

- very conscious of her image because she knows her younger siblings look up to her and everything she does will influence them.

- she gets flashbacks and nightmares of what Krane did to them, and suffers pretty bad ptsd from that.

- took over as a mentor when Bree and Chase left for Centium City

- formed a new team when Leo left the island, replacing his spot with Kate for missions- sapphic of some sort, but doesn't have a set label.

S-002

- assumed dead by both Krane and their siblings

- I don't want to spoil my rewrite but I'll just say you probably already know them.

giving bree and skylar strong female friendships (taylor and jordan respectively) is so important bc they're in a mostly male-dominated cast. like yes skylar is much closer to kaz and oliver and bree is much closer to her brothers but STILL

it's even more important (in my version) because the female they would have the most interactions with is each other, but they're romantic partners, so it isn't the same

anyway i HATE shows that are 90 percent dudes and never give the girl close relationships with other women. either they don't exist or the women are pitted against each other
