I don't think we as a community should be solemnly resigning ourselves to shutting up and dealing with it whenever TGC ignores our feedback about something we don't want because they'll probably keep this stupid ticket system in for future events and I still hate it.

My opinion hasn't changed just because I and several others were ignored and told to quit being dramatic.

The Sky community is nice and all but they have a major problem with gaslighting you into thinking you have no right to complain about things that should be criticized. Or they'll completely misinterpret what you're saying as "I want TGC to fail and I hate Sky" when what you're actually saying is that Sky has issues that TGC either doesn't fix or it takes them way too long to even address them (if at all).

You're allowed to like things and be critical of what you dislike about them. That really isn't a hard concept to grasp and we should not be shunning people over opinions because it doesn't fit into the narrow boxes of black and white thinking.

people have gotta just get it into their head that "healthier" means healthier and "cleaner" means cleaner and "skinnier" means skinnier and absolutely none those things are synonyms of each other, and they're definitely not synonyms of "better." stop debating on whether or not things are the healthiest option and start arguing that healthiest isn't always the goal

Also it looks like I’ll be taking ex-coworker out for pho this weekend, she’s never had it before :V if I’m being evil and strategic, I won’t tell her that it’s a cash only place so I can pay her back for the burger. but I suppose the fair thing to do is give her autonomy and fight over the bill on equal terms rather than having an unfair advantage.

DOTS MAKING PRETTY PATTERNS :D

I went in with exactly zero plans besides "make pretty pearl-like jewelry" and you know what? #NailedIt Although I did get a little lazy there for the back view; literally just copied the front view and smushed things around with various transformation tools lol. You can tell by how blurry it is. You can also tell that I added another little dangly thing towards the side of the cloak that wraps around front, because it's not all blurry XD

Learned a recipe for achma today and it is literally Georgian kugel. I love convergent culinary evolution so much. Also learned a recipe for a Ukrainian Romani vegetable dish my friend's family makes and a Lebanese aromatic stew that is served over rice. Really excited to try cooking these soon

Pretty fucked up that people (me) who live too far away to walk to any restaurants also live too far away to order delivery from any restaurants, which means that if for any reason they (me) are unable to drive, they (me) are essentially forced to starve.

Inn at Langley Restaurant, Langley, WA., 8/19/23

building – 400 1st St, Langley, WA 98260 The restaurant at the Inn at Langley was one of the reasons we traveled to Whidbey Island, besides also wanting to escape the Texas heat.  Chef Matt Costello started the restaurant in 1989 and now also is co-owner of the Inn.  However his cooking duties have been passed to a fellow named Landon and the tasting menu we looked forward to has been dumbed down…

THAT RLLY DEPENDS 4 ME! i'm usually an apple juice enjoyer cus i don't trust orange juice with that pulp. i hate pulp!!! but i do like fresh drinks!! Getting orange juice is like getting strawberry icecream, if it's like? Real real? With real chunks and stuff? no thanks 😒.. now if it's SMOOTH and ARTIFICIAL? yessirrrrr SIGN ME UP!!!
