JANE PORTER is thirty-three years old. She is an Ethnologist & Zoologist at Redwood Hollow Zoo. She is the incarnation of Jane Porter from the Disney film Tarzan.

ABOUT JANE

Jane Porter grew up back in London, England and has spent her life travelling with work. She spent a majority of her years out in Africa with her father studying the behaviour of Gorillas out in their natural habitat. This was the first and last project that her father and her worked on together as her father fell ill during their trip and passed away when they returned to England. Jane was heartbroken and lost her way for sometime. It was then that she was offered a role in Redwood Hollow Zoo for a research project and she jumped at the opportunity for a fresh start. England held too many memories of her father and she needed to move on and heal from the loss. There’s no doubt about it that Jane is an incredibly intelligent woman but the need for knowledge and the ambitions that she has in her career can also be a fault. Jane gets wrapped up in her work and it can cause her to miss out on other experiences in the world. She is curious about life but her English roots have her approaching situations with a reserved attitude until she feels comfortable enough and then her personality will emerge.
