I was playing World Tour and for some reason I never really put too much thought into my Avatar's voice, and who the ENG VA was.

And it got me thinking about the other Avatar's voices that made an appearance, and who they were. Surprisingly, I have heard the Eng VAs in different medias before.

OHHHH SUCH A FULL LIST. Be My Princess was such an icon of a game. And Roberto!!! He's such a cutie!! It's okay if you like Oliver too hehe... I can't say anything when I like Joshua and Sieg... And then Glenn and Kuon (tho I wish the paid version didn't ditch the secret twin thing I think Kuon had going on). I distinctly remember liking the party versions of the stories better alas.

SAEKI. I think My Forged Wedding was my first voltage game or was it Be My Princess... I think I played Yamato first because I wanted Yuta but he wasn't out yet....

I never actually played Rose in the Embers or Samurai Love Ballad/Sakura Amidst Chaos(my aversion to period stories) and I don't think I touched Oops I Said Yes... Wait it's not Love Choice so HMMMMM.

Round 1 will be posted between Friday, January 19th and Thursday, January 25th. It will be split between 4 sets, each set being posted on a different day. Takane Momochi

This dude came off so sweet and in the app he seemed like this genuine dude. The fact that he was the MC's love interest in college made it seem like a reconnection until you realize the MC was practically his puppy doing everything to make him happy and then when it was her time to confess her love to him he shot her down like her feelings didn't even matter. She spent the next 10 years missing him and still remembering she cared so much about him. So when you meet him you go to the airport because he is a pilot and you hang out and talk and he gives you flowers. He seems so sweet and sincere and he tells you how sorry he was for being a kid back then. Honestly I guess my red flag should have gone up with bullshit meter fast because I wasn't even 2 chapters in and he was happy to be with her and wanting to spend his life with her and so on. He pushed every button then took her to the bar to drink after the second date and then he literally tells you since in the app it says your 100% physically matched he wants to sleep with you to find out if thats so.

When you go to shoot him down he shows how much of a prick he is and even tells you he was just using you to sleep with you. The mc I will admit is ballsy she tells him I will not sleep with you but for the next 30 days or something like that you will want to have sex with me and I won't until you fall in love with me. Honestly I had already spent like 40 hearts on this dude in love365 and was pissing me off cause the ones I used was back when I thought he was nice. So not only did he screw over the mc but me too what a fuckin asshole. Anyways didn't think a character could make my blood boil so fast but I swear he really made me mad as well as the mc. I wouldn't even want him if it was me after the way he acted. Its also why I stopped playing his route to save my hearts for some one worth them. It might turn out he falls in love with her but if they make me mad and I have no interest in them then I won't continue. Its not even like the tsunderes either he is a male chauvinistic pig who wants to sleep with anyone he even tells her he wants her panties until she sleeps with him he is just rude. I'm done wasting my breath on him but I got up to like chapter 10 before I couldn't deal with him anymore because every single date he was just as much as a asshole as the one before it.

Komuro Satoru/Araya Kuze

Now this guy is the guy that followed mc around in high school even when the mc was so in love with Takane. He would find out things about him for the mc and things he liked. He would pass letters or anything she wanted to help her be with Takane even though he was in love with her the whole time. He thought being her friend until she realized Takane was a asshole was better than not being anything at all. He was sweet and genuine he was also 2 years behind the mc so she went to college with Takane and it was a different college than Araya got into so they were separated. Until this app and they matched at 99% and the moment he realized it was her he was over the moon. They connected right away when they met and I swear this man let nothing stay hidden he admitted he had wanted to see her so bad in the last few years. They had dinner and went back to the bar to drink and just joking about good times together and such. She gets super drunk and they go to leave and she falls but he catches her. They kiss then he confesses he has been in love with her since high school.

She is so out of it she doesn't pull away from the kiss and she had been treating him all night like he was a kid cause he was younger than her. He tells her when they get to messing around please give me one night, you can do whatever you want to me and I will never thing bad of you, I just want to feel important to you and feel like you see me. They end up back at his place and they have sex and then she wakes up the next morning and freaks out. He apologizes however she makes him feel like he really did something wrong with both of them had been drinking she kinda made me mad with that honestly because he is a sweetheart. Then he continues to apologize and even tells her he takes complete fault for it and he would like it if she would let him make it right. She is kind of like what? But he goes into tell her how he feels, and how things went down and that he thought they were on the same page and how they were connected that night. He then says but give me a chance let me be your boyfriend and then you can take that it was not a one night stand. It was so sweet how he came up with this after expressing how he has always felt.

He is a lyrist and all his songs over the last 5 years or so has been written about her and no one else. She is his heart, muse, and love of his life she is his destiny. He altered his name just for the app so that no one knew it was him since he is famous. She agrees and its so nice to see him when girls throw themselves at him he shuts them down and makes it very clear she is his only important person. Like omg.... this man is a freakin keeper such a difference from the first guy and to think she knew them at the same time yet chose the pig over this cinnamon roll. One of the sweet things he did was rented out a whole theme park for her and brought her to overlook it then turned on the lights and lit it all up for her. That was like the sweetest yes he has money but as long as he gets to spend it on her he is happy.

He even tells her that since high school she has been his princess and just wants to do right by her. I was in such awe when he told her he wanted to be with her and he wanted to marry her in the future like how many men just know and the fact he just knew since highschool thats alot of years being in love with one person. There was a bit of drama of a ex fiancé trying to come between them but to show his love he took her to a jewelry store to get her any engagement ring she wanted. So anyways alot of drama came out of things later in the story. It comes back that it was all a lie he set up the app the ex fiancé all of it to make her give him a chance and to fall in love with him. He was afraid she would never give him a chance any other way. Then when he realizes he lied to her and it hurt her he felt like he wasn't worthy of her so he tried to leave her and let her live her life without him because he did love her. I mean in the end she doesn't let him leave that easy and they end up together.

Honestly I guess in away its a bit of a betrayal and I think he will have to make it up to her because it was like their relationship was built on a lie. However I think their love for each other I think they would be fine. On voltage's side I will say after all the hearts that I paid for that I ate through in this game mostly on this guy it was a bit of a disappointment. His character I love in the end just for a happy ending there are alot better stories than how this one played out. I think if I had a 5 star rating system for this game would be 3 it loses 2 stars because of the fact it almost felt like the pay to play shit and then even after that you don't even get the kind of ending that you really should have.

Anyway so

After meeting in the cultural festival, haruka and shintaro become friends yeah cool. (So do ayano and takane but thats a bonus lol)

Anyway shintaro skips class because hes too bored :( and haruka skips because hes never done that before and "why not?!?!?"

Side thing where ayano invites shintaro to go fishing w her, and there is where he meets ayano's younger sister kido, and she's really shy, so he suggests to ayano for kido to meet his younger sister, who is of similar age.

So after a while Haruka and shintaro share bonding moments and such, and one day haruka dreams of kissing shintaro (haruka is adachi remember!!??!?!?!?!?) And hes like "i dont think friends are supposed to do that" and he gets confused (me too man)

Well tahts pretty much it for now, but momo and kido meet somewhere in this i forgot where. And momo meets the rest of mekatrio but thats a "mausqueheramienta que usaremos luego"

In Love365, My favorite MCs are the ones from Masquerade Kiss, Her Love in The Force, My Last First Kiss, and Romance MD. I also love the one from Oops, I Said Yes?! and I want to read the routes I didn’t get to read yet from this title. All of these MCs are either really funny, relatable, inspiring, and physically good-looking to me

I rarely dislike MCs despite their potential flaws because I think those could be consequences of bad writing. However, I have to say I had a hard time liking Destind because the MC from this title is really frustrating to me. I liked two of the LIs I’ve read but I think the MC and title overall had a lot of potential and it wasn’t used well. I only read Takane and Rei’s first seasons and PoVs and stopped, because I thought it wasn’t worth it for me to continue reading since the MC really wasn’t my favorite type. No shame to those who do like the title though, the characters seem very interesting and I’m sure the flaws can be easily overlooked for other people.

I also play Ikémen Prince from the Ikémen Series by Cybird, and I really like the MC in that game. I like how she’s rational, passionate about her reading hobby, hardworking, and a bit bold at times. She’s also very pretty. I love her eyes and hair. I also love a MC who gets the coldest LI to open up more to her. I really liked her in Chevalier’s route

7 Hotties All My Husbands & Several Shades of Sadism

These two games belong to Arithmetic inc and I have played them a few years ago, and still like to read some stories again because I really loved them. I like both of the MCs from these games.

The one from 7 hotties isn’t always written consistently but 7H was my first otome game so I’m really attached to it and to her. She is a very cute and kind person and she’s able to be liked by anyone, even by the coldest LI, since she’s very understanding and flexible

The second MC from SSS is very relatable and sassy at times. She is hardworking and very cute. I liked to see her interactions with the LIs

The sap of Bougainvillea is seriously toxic. It's stated to cause serious skin rashes.

Pre-Chorus

In my KuroEne AU, Kuroha/Saeru and Ene play the game of being intimate with each other.

It'd be nice to switch between them in their usual canon outfits, and Formal dress outfits by Sayuki, throughout the MV.

Metaphorically, in the snake's den (territory of the snake), Kuroha sets the stage for a new game, by making the preparations for their meeting.

Maybe have a shot of him working on building the android body in a lab? Even if he doesn't need them, it'd be cute if he has glasses or a long white scientist coat tbh

Thrilled as always, Kuroha comes to meet Ene and proposes his little invention to her. Ene uses the android body he made to move around in the real world.

After adhering to Ene's wishes to not involve any bystanders in their game, Kuroha takes Ene with him to live in an abandoned building or some real estate, (as long as it's a secluded place, away from other people)

For the time being, a secluded room separate from the outside world.

Before I checked the lyrics, I initially thought the “Oh yeah yeah yeah yeah” was You (x4) when I listened to the song, so I imagined flashing shots of Haruka, Konoha, and Kuroha. Anyways, I still think this can work regardless.

“Oh step into the new world”

With the beginning of a new Route is a new cycle, "the rebirth of a new world" in Kuroha/Saeru's eyes. It's time for the two of them (KuroEne) to start their game for the XX-th time. Kuroha takes Ene by the hand, and metaphorically invites Ene to the "dance stage."

Takane/Ene calls herself a “delicate flower” in MCA and has a Dancer theme with her nickname of “Lightning Dancer Ene.”

Note: Takane's full online gamer name was “Lightning Dancer Ene” or “Dancing Flash Ene” (閃光の舞姫・エネ, Senkou no Maihime - Ene), where Maihime (舞姫) means “Dancer girl.”

For the chorus, I imagined shots of KuroEne's intimacy, and them dancing together like a waltz. They fit ballroom dances so well tbh.

1st Chorus

“Get tangled, coil around me, and make me forget”

This fits so well with Kuroha/Saeru being a snake. Though from an artistic POV, it'd be cool if while Kuroha is intimate with and/or dances with Ene, she has his snakes coiled around her arm or leg

“Indeed, it's a pity, but we're lie-lie-liars.”

Kuroha thinks to himself that it sure is a shame that his act of playing nice for the time being, is a beautiful lie/farce.

”The blood flows sloppily, but you give me the impression of wanting to touch it.”

I imagined a shot of KuroEne's intimacy with Kuroha holding Ene's hand while he kisses her. Then have the composition with blood dripping down from the ceiling as a metaphor to Kuroha/Saeru's plans to kill the Mekakushi Dan.

2nd Chorus

“Shriek, struggle, and just lose your head.”

I thought of it as like... Either them falling into their game (of intimacy) even more, or like, Ene finding out about his true intentions and being confronted with his true nature

“Our love is increasing. Looks like there's something wrong with us.”

Kuroha is amused that Ene chooses to fall further into the abyss of pleasure with him, that she seeks out his presence and touches through their game.

They both feel a sense of fulfillment and desire and passion and yearning with playing the game with each other.

“See through me, judge me—I’d rather you cast me away.”

This could be interpreted as Kuroha being able to see through Ene due to his omniscence, or Kuroha telling Ene to see through his facade.

Pre-3rd Chorus

”One petal at a time, I'll meticulously dye you in my colour”

Again, it can be used in the context of their intimacy. Kuroha dyes Ene “in his own colour”

“Dyed in madder red”

Cuz Kuroha possesses such intimate knowledge of his partner due to his knowledge of previous Routes (timelines), he knows all their memories together, and possesses her desires and secrets, etc.

Ig you could interpret this in the sense of possessing someone and/or their soul.

Like the more he keeps doing this with her, the more they keep being intimate together and continuing their games, the more he solidifes his hold on her throughout the Routes (timelines).

Knowing someone THIS intimately and continuing to do this with them after countless (XX) times just becomes proof for his everlasting eternity.

They say the eyes are the window to the soul, so…

3rd Chorus

“We're bending, we're aching, we're withering away.”

“For you, if you would, a dream like an imitation flower indeed.”

Would also fit with the lyrics of the withering flowers → Destruction of the Eyes (Mekakushi Dan), just like Outer Science

Maybe in the last part, have Ene reacting to him killing the rest of the Mekakushi Dan... The wide eyed distraught expressions... My poor wife, sniffs... ;__;

He'll be waiting for the beginning of a new Route, and for their game to start again, just as always (just like the last time)

hmmmm i don't know about kano fancontent but from canon about Kano particularly... kano is a very important character... everyone is, but kano especially is very involved in the plot and gets A Lot of focus. you wouldn't be disappointed jumping into the entirety of kagepro because kano is one of the characters with the most focus, if that makes sense. quick kagepro guide: music -> manga til volume 4 chapter 18 -> novels -> rest of the manga -> anime -> lost day hour chapter by saiyuki

however if ur just focusing on kano and dont actually feel like doing all that id just overanalyse yobanashi deceive lyrics very hard, watch the anime despite how confusing it is bc kano gets a lot of good focus there and!!!!!!! the fifth novel.

NOVEL 5 THE DECEIVING💥💥💥💥💥🔥🔥🔥🔥 thats The kano novel. it explains all his backstory til present day, plus the big mess he finds himself in regarding his possessed dad etc etc. kano is the Only character who gets AN ENTIRE NOVEL dedicated to his pov, and it's this one. the other 2 characters who Almost got a whole novel with their own exclusive povs are actually none other than my Favorite guys in the world haruka(novel 6) and takane(novel 2), but shintaro manages to have chapters of his own in both of them. all the other novels have povs that jump from character to character.

kano's got a lot of focus in the rest of the content but like i said id just recommend the whole series that way lol but if u dont feel like it yeah fifth novel👍 one of my favorites actually!

JDramas and their fascination with adults and minors(?)

TW: Grooming and Adult-Minor relationship

Jdramas are funny with the amount of dramas about an adult/minor relationship. Whether it’s teacher-student of not. I get that probably a huge chunk of them are adaptations of mangas.

But I can’t help but laugh at how many dramas are still going on that romanticise this as oppose to addressing the things. Maybe it has to do with how its perceived in Japan. Like take this example:

So I decided to watch Takane and Hana because I was curious by the plot synopsis and how it addresses the issue.

This is the plot from MDL:

“ After her older sister refuses to go to an arranged marriage meeting with Takane Saibara, the heir to a vast business fortune, high schooler Hana Nonomura agrees to be her stand-in to save face for the family. But what happens when Hana meets Takane is an unexpected pairing of utter opposites! “

Now. I don’t know what I was fully expecting. To be honest, I thought it would be, at least for a good chunk of the series about Hana, the high schooler having to pretend to be an adult and “deceive” the rich guy to avoid getting her father and family into trouble. I don’t know. I was expecting more of a comedy like she wants nothing to do with him but has to pretend she he believes she’s her sister.

What I got instead? The reveal happened within the first half of the first episode (unexpected). And in the original meeting they hated each other (expected). His response? Go to her school and shower her with flowers. 

There was then a bit where the sister whose vain, dumps her boyfriend and decides she wants to be in the arranged marriage with Takane and her family agrees since she’s the original one (an adult) and the “pretty” sister. So then I thought it was gonna develop into Hana feeling unwanted by her family and Takane and the sister in the arranged marriage agreement but Takane not wanting it but trapped. What we get is Takane refusing the sister and insisting the arrangement is with Hana. So it becomes this weird thing where you have an adult actively pursuing a high schooler (though they try to play the narrative at times that he’s just doing it to get him to “submit” to the lavish lifestyle she despises. The you have his friends, her friends and HER parents all being chill about the whole thing and encouraging this relationship.

It’s all very wtf and not what I fully expected.

I think from what people said about the Manga is that the relationship is more friendship and feelings (at least on Takane’s side) don’t develop until she’s older or near the end of the manga. And that cause the series is only 8 episodes and 25 mins each - the last arc is crammed severely. Whereas the TV series has them kissing in episode 1 or episode 2 (not a “real” in love kiss) and the series portrays them having feelings early on but both react differently to having feelings.

As a whole, I liked the start of it, it was fast paced, but I got bored around the midway point and the development was rushed. I don’t mind watching series about student-teacher relationships since they are problematic and it’s my first time watching an adult-minor relationship. But it did leave me icky how there was no real opposition to them because of this everyone was rooting for them. The series just wasn’t strong enough for me to forget my morals and enjoy the fictional drama cause I got bored easily.

At least with TWDrama, Lessons in Love - it addressed the themes, they had opposition. And even though the relationship was romanticised, they had moments where you could see the power imbalance between the teacher-student and the level of grooming when they first hook up (which stops on the student’s side because he felt uncomfortable and the teacher was clearly doing it at revenge at his mother). They had strong opposition from adults (and some students). It also turned into a revenge drama and thriller later on. And while it still had some issues, the teacher’s best friend who is the school nurse encouraging her to hook up with the student and of course the happy ending for the relationship. You can abandon your morals for the sake of a fictional drama because it was quite solid and it addressed other themes like social class, wealth, rich/poor, the influence of parents on a child’s education (and the influence of a rich parent on their child’s education.
