“Mama?” she said. The empty corpse at the door paid no attention. Resigned, at this point, Nicolette pulled loose a whisp of magic from the bundle in her chest. “Mama?” She tried again. 

At this, her mother’s body paused, and turned sightless eyes toward her. But only for a heartbeat, and then it went back to scratching at the door with animalistic ferocity. Nicolette’s cheeks burned with unusual cold, and as Nicolette rubbed at her face, she discovered she was crying. 

“Mama.” She couldn’t stop the tears and now she couldn’t stop the words either.

“Mama please. You shouldn’t have left me like this. I don’t have anything now. I have nothing, I only ever had you. Why did you leave me?”

She was shaking uncontrollably. Her voice climbed to a wail and she rocked frantically, making the wood chair scream and creak.

 “You can’t leave me, what am I supposed to do? I’m nothing, I’m nothing, I’m nothing, why did you leave me? Why did you leave me? Why did you leave me?”

The chair gave out with a final shriek of complaint.

I realised none of my sims have been stereotypically Halloween-y so I wanted to pay homage to “proper” zombies. I had so much fun with her, lots of photos today (sorry not sorry). Cas screenies below the cut.

it's a clicker from the last of us! :D one of my more labor-intensive, but budget-friendly costumes from recent years. This only cost me like $50 in materials. Woo!

The one thing that I could think of for this is Zombies. I tried doing something with Noel himself, but thinking about it, Noel is crazy enough to start an apocalypse himself if he wanted. With the amount of times he's killed his kids and his grandson all in the name of science, he'd have enough bodies to resurrect.

Lore wise, Noel himself is a rotten man. Not just by his actions.

The characters in this from left to right are: Byrd, Luna, Noel, Todd, and Rhys (Luna's son and Noel's grandson).

Ah. Ig I did not post it yet hah- okok here's days 2 and 10 of Stevetember: bridle and zombie! Not combined this time tho

Also yes I'm just. Doing this out of order. It's easier for me to just roam around, I'll get to everything at my own pace.

Had no clue what to do for bridle so just went with Fake Lucas (man the mouth n legs were SO HARD for no reason)

I did two for zombie, TW rot/gore and an eyeball popped out of its socket, also visible bones.

Sooo left is Sabre but from one of my weird dreams where he's a zombie-werewolf-vampire hybrid. Right is that random zombie from like the early Steve Saga that couldn't be hurt in the sun?? Yeah that dude.

unfortunately, a few months after your breakup, you saw him again. only this time, he was a zombie.

your zombie ex relishes in the familiarity of you. your scent, your eyes, hell, even just your familiar presence... fuck he wanted you so bad. he still doesn't understand why you left him. was it because he kept threatening to turn into a zombie if you talked to another person? probably.

he growls lowly, stalking closer towards you before you grunt in disbelief.

"i told you i never wanted to see you again! are you stalking me even when you're dead?" you accuse, holding up your weapon before you turn around and start stomping off angrily.

but yes, yes he was stalking you. even as a zombie, some habits just die hard, you know?

"begone! i don't even want to be in your presence!"

oh no, he couldn't allow that, could he?

"grah!"

"oi!"

you don't even know what happened until you felt your back against the cold ground. you couldn't believe it. your ex boyfriend now zombie had tackled you down, his slob getting all over you as he nuzzles into your neck.

"get off ya stinky!"

"grr..."

"stop growling! you're not an animal!"

"nh..."

well, it seems like your ex still obeys you somewhat. maybe you could try and-

"baby, if you get off me i'll give you a kiss?"

"liar..."

what the hell he can talk?!

I was applying for PhD funding. The guy in charge (whose name I had already forgotten) told me they were going to give £90k a year. He told me it was a lot but you’ve gotta spend your money on something. Then I went outside to see that the zombie apocalypse had begun while we’d been talking.
