-Dante hates how you drop everything to make everyone happy.

-He knows why you do it, and understands that you're afraid to disappoint others for fear of getting abandoned, but this is going too far.

-He decided to sit you down one day and give you a talk, not caring whether or not he started to sound like Vergil or not.

-He repeatedly tells you that you shouldn't care what other people think of you. Being abandoned is no fun, he knows, but those people are just going to use you for being so nice to them. Besides, even if they do all leave, he won't.

-Smothers you in cuddles and tight hugs whenever he can to remind you that he loves you.

-When he traps you in his hold, he will NOT let go for any reason, so watch out.

-V cannot understand why you try so hard to make people who don't care about you happy.

-He tries to convince you (calmly) to open your eyes and see the truth. There's no need to try and please everyone--you can't, anyway.

-Your sacrifices are largely in vain, and while he would love to tell you this, V knows that doing so might upset you.

-With some spywork from Griffon, V gathers information behind your behavior, eventually realizing that you have some serious abandonment issues, which is why you act this way.

-So, at night, when you think he's asleep, he will curl himself around him and just bask in your presence, reminding you that you're never going to be alone as long as he lives.

-Sometimes he has his familiars join him, which is nice, but can be kind of annoying, especially when Shadow decides your face is a good resting place for its tail.

gojo and geto have abandonment issues, but they express them in different ways.

when gojo deems you as a safe person to get involved with, he latches onto you very quickly. It’s almost like getting whiplash with how quickly he emotionally attaches to you. He needs to be around you all the time, and if he does have to go on a mission abroad, that doesn’t stop him from texting and calling you whenever he possibly can.

If he gets the sense that you’re pulling away, he get fearful. He starts to overcompensate to give you reasons to not leave him, and often needs a lot of reassurance that you aren’t leaving. He doesn’t outright come to you and say that he needs reassurance, but you’ll be able to pick up the need within his actions. He begins showering you in more expensive gift even more often than he already does. He ignores smaller missions to spend more time with you, attaching himself to you physically any chance he can. In a way he suffocates you so you don’t have the chance to even think about leaving him, cause who would want to give up the lavish lifestyle he’s providing you?

Geto, however, is distant with his abandonment problems, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t deeply emotionally attached to you. His issues could fall under the radar for people on the outside looking in, but there’s little signs that you’d be able to pick out that explain a different story. He can be very suffocating in the sense that he’s controlling. Not outright, but in the way that makes you doubt your own decision making. If he makes you think you wouldn’t be able to survive emotionally or physically without him, that means you won’t leave.

He’ll comfort you during a particular bad day, hushing your sobs with a gentle hand brushing over your hair as he rocked you in his lap. “Don’t worry, sweet thing. I’ll take care of everything, okay? No more tears.”

And it would feel so good to not have to worry about trivial things anymore. It was only a matter of time before you relied on him for anything and everything with a simple sniffle and sob into his chest. And he wouldn’t have it any other way.

hi @zethsnex!! i'm your spooky gifter this year for @mcyt-halloween!! i tried my hardest with this playlist (warning: this is my first time making a themed... anything. i went for like three days straight in a private playlist eliminating songs left and right for what would fit and compiled them tonight lol) and i made it as disturbing as i could stomach (which isn't much lmao) but i did my best and i hope it suffices!! below is a more in depth dive of the au !! i hope you enjoy it, this is my first time ever doing smth like this!! :D

i made this a fae x prince au (to the best i could i hope i manifested those vibes into this playlist) but i did a sort of switch, and usually the fae (in this case, techno because i did a prey duo since you chose techno and quackity as characters) would be the one with a very possessive and obsessive personality, i flipped the tables and made q the possessive one. basically in this au quackity is the prince of a kingdom, born from cold and neglectful parents, he finds solace in the very creature he was warned to stay away from, fae. techno, the innocent fae in this story reluctantly (and i mean very reluctantly) befriends our prince quackity through days and days of gifts and forced conversations. quackity gets so close and connected with the fae to the point where he can't bear to be apart from techno. it becomes an unhealthy obsession (shown through songs 27-36) with the fae. songs (12-26) show a brief but wholesome period with prey duo where each other find a sort of safe space in one another, where quackity was starting to realize how much he trusted techno and how safe he'd felt around the fae, which would grow into an unhealthy and codependent relationship. and finally, songs (1-11) show the timespan before quackity met techno, his life in the castle and a brief look into the family dynamics of his (formerly) cold life.

I honestly thought this song showed quackity's willingness to do anything and everything as long as techno stayed, and kept being his safe space where he could confide in him about everything anything: even if it meant betraying confidential family secrets.

Absence: Rio Romeo

Quackity couldn't begin to imagine a life without his friend: but could Techno? A song like this conveys perfectly I think Quackity's fear of abandonment: and that he's more than willing to do anything to keep his friend.

Somewhere Only We Know: Keane

Quackity and Techno meet in the same spot every day: In the woods under a massive willow tree, surrounded by deer and flowers. Quackity's family never cared enough to go looking if he ever went missing, and even if they did, no one would know he was hanging with the fae in the woods.

Treehouse: Alex G, Emily Yacina

Do they have a treehouse? No. But the lyrics 'Why can't everyone just go away? Except you. You can stay.' I feel screams to me that Q trusts Techno to the point where no one can just let him talk and yell and scream and not say a word about it. He isn't 'Quackity, Crown Prince.' with Techno, he's Just Quackity. Random guy who ate a cattail plant and was spitting it out for almost ten minutes straight while the fae laughed and made fun of him.

Upon getting tired of seeing c!Tommy miserably staring at his ‘Your Tubbo’ compass, c!Dream finally decides to take drastic measures without alerting the boy to his jealousy, and offers him a clock as a gift one day. It looks like a normal nameless clock, but unbeknownst to him, the inscription “Eternally Dream’s” is scrawled with invisible ink at the back. 

According to c!Dream, the clock is a reward for the boy’s exceptional behaviour, as well as a useful tool for keeping track of time while the man is away. However, its real purpose is to make c!Tommy forget about the compass leading to his “best friend”, and focus on c!Dream instead. 

Whenever c!Tommy is finished with his tasks, he spends hours sitting by the portal, staring at one spot, and shifting his gaze to the clock every few minutes- but sometimes, it only takes a minute for him to look at it again. And so, the poor boy is waiting for what feels like an eternity, forlorn sighs and sobs departing his lips, his teeth sinking hard into his lips in frustration, giving off the taste of copper, and silent prayers that his friend owner hasn’t abandoned him, swirling his mind.

Something I don't talk about a lot is my tendency to feel excluded a lot, even if I am excluding myself on purpose due to my own comforts / triggers.

It.. Quite frankly hurts because of my, fear of abandonment as well. I set up a boundary, and then after I just start spiralling, wondering if I'm going to be dropped for that, or I'll never be included in anything from that individual again, that I'm a worthless individual.. I want to be included in things but I am very, very well aware that no one has to accommodate things to include me. The reason I don't do "tag your mutuals" type things is because I don't want to exclude anyone and make them feel how I constantly feel, tears running down my face because I've started to berate myself over it.

I also try to communicate that I want to be included in things, at least from close mutuals, that way I don't just.. Start emotionally spiralling. But I'm not entitled to be included even if we are close. Sometimes I just fear I've been forgotten about or kicked to the curb..
