Summary: Tilda becomes a healer, gardener and midwife as she grows up, in honour of her mother who died giving birth to her, and after she comes of age she goes to Rivendell to learn from Elrond; but the most valuable lesson of all is one she takes with her, and which seems to keep evolving, showing her different aspects as she learns and grows.

These are some designs, sketches and tests I did before I begun my piece There's An Unusual Guest In Our House for TRSB. I'll be honest, I had SO much fun with (almost) every aspect of the creation of this piece. But mainly just figuring out Thranduil gown and how it's going to be. For as much as I like how he's dressed in the movies I DO get tired of drawing the same outfits over and over again. And I honestly think his move design is missing some green, but that's a whole 'nother topic.

One thing that I'm just noticing is that the gold neckline in some of these is much lower than in the final piece, and i do like it lower... Hmm, maybe next time.
