The way Edwin tells The cat King, he and Charles are best friends (if u must know) seems like he takes that title very seriously. It kind of sounded like when you're a kid at school and you upgrade a friend to *.✧best friend ✧.* it doesn't really just mean your favourite friend it's like a whole other honour in itself. And I'm not sure if the term best friend specifically was around when Edwin was alive which makes me think Charles said it first, Charles called Edwin his best friend (probably best mate actually) first and Edwin was like, I will make it my afterlife goal to live up to the responsibility. And he takes so much pride in it you can tell. But also the way The cat King asks if he and Charles are 'special friends' I don't know if Edwin immediately clicks on what he's really asking and is like no it's best friends. I just think, especially for Edwin, it's such a sweet, honest thing to do, just announce that they're best friends like that. I mean he can't even tell Crystal she's his friend, only manages to say he 'values' her and yet he's going about proudly telling strangers he and Charles are besties

You didn’t expect to find yourself sitting so peacefully on a couch next to Tyler Owens, but here you were, surrounded by a group of your friends all yelling and crowding around the tv.

“Go, go, go” Boone and Tyler chanted either side of you, dramatically standing up and clapping when their team finally got touchdown.

“Are you guys going to do that every time?” You asked expectantly, looking over at Boone sitting back down and throwing his legs across you to sprawl out on the couch.

“Every time we get closer to winning, sure. You gonna do that every time?” Tyler asked, glancing down at his forearms before looking back up at you. His flannel sleeves rolled up to his elbows, showing off the mouth-watering strength that you’d been making a point to ignore.

Clearly he caught on to your not-so-subtle glances but you’d never give him the satisfaction. He sat back down next to you and ‘stretched’ before resting his arm behind your head.

“Oh, please.” You groaned, crossing your arms and staring at the tv, ignoring the childish eyebrow raises from Boone and the frustrating smirk on Tylers face.

As soon as Boones attention joined yours on the game, Tyler leaned in closer to you.

“You know if we win, I might just take you out on a date.” He whispered it like a secret, your pointed gaze not moving as you amusedly shook your head.

“Might? Is that a threat?” You replied, pleased when you felt his arm move from its place behind you as he stood up. The pleasantry didn’t last long, he never could let you have the final word.

“Don’t act stupid, sweetheart. I could spot that little twinkle in your eye a mile away.” His voice stayed at his usual level this time, ignoring the feigned ignorance on your face with that stupid grin before he walked into the kitchen.

“Ooooh,“ Boone started, singsongy voice disturbing your moment of silence as he made kissy faces at you.

���Shut up.” You interrupted him before he could start acting like the ‘doctor of love’ he so often claimed himself to be, laughing when he exaggerated your shoving his legs off of your lap and fell off the couch.

Seeing as Fabian has an inability to keep his foot and The Ball's name out of his mouth, there are several ways for an argument between him and Sklonda about "The Ball" nickname to end. Some better than others.

On one end, there's an ending where there’s irreparable damage done to Sklonda's opinion of Fabian and his and Riz’s relationship. And on other, there's an ending where Sklonda comes to the conclusion that Fabian calling Riz "The Ball" is equivalent to the cliche of a boy pulling on the pigtails of his playground crush.
