currently writing a fanfic where thalia reflects on taking zoe's place as lieutenant. and the zoe and thalia parallels in the original series are so strong. i mean. both of their deaths were caused by their fathers. both of their deaths end with them staring up at the sky. both of their deaths lead to them being a symbol of sacrifice and heroism. both of them joined the hunt because they lost faith in a boy they cared for. both of them were trapped between a rock and a hard place. how am i just now realizing this?

#my ramblings #ivan is an incredibly dedicated person #his schedule is noted by the hour and his image is portrayed as a respectful pet human who is intelligent and charming #he never asked for anything. he never acted out. he learned how to smile by practicing with his reflection in the water #he painstakingly crafted this image of himself outside of anakt garden and managed to elevate himself as a business partner of sorts #but while he was in anakt garden he was… imperfect #he constantly bugged till as a way to gain his attention and he annoyed the hell out of sua in an attempt to relate to her #then he learned about boundaries and restraint. he began to hide his affection under side glances and gentle touches #he took off till’s collar and wiped away his tears. but only in secret. only when no one was watching #but he never breached till’s boundaries until round 6. the kiss was as good as waving a white flag.#it signified the death of their relationship as ivan finally released his sculpted image #he essentially chooses to kill their relationship all on his own before his death #sorry. my ivan brainrot is back in full force after he showed up in r7 for like 30 seconds #alien stage #alnst ivan #ivantill

the thing about that scene is that I think it isn’t any coincidence that he nearly gets armand in the head when he tosses the bowl violently. louis is really upset about the fact that armand facilitated his daughter’s murder. but I agree with the sentiment that he feels protective of armand - I just think the show didn’t go those places because they intend to tackle armand’s history later and they didn’t want to detract from louis’s and claudia’s story. besides if the museum scene was any indication armand has very complicated feelings about his maker so he might have had as much a hand in its placement in the dining room as louis who seems interested in collecting art and understanding vampire history. sorry I made this post more serious than you probably meant it to be.

has seen ghosts since childhood and was taken to a temple countless times. ended up learning how to make talismans

has been followed by one particular spirit for a long time. syo claims to be an exorcist and a distant relative of hers but there's no family record of any such person existing? anyways the talismans seem to keep syo from taking over her body for the time being

(im maybe thinking a little too much about that totk rewritten project ..)

had a cool idea and wanna know what people would prefer; after you beat ganondorf once, marking the half way point of the game, would you rather:

get a long cutscene in which you see some of his memories, that shows why he ended up there and why he is the way he is, with you occasionally being able to walk around in them

get a few sudden flashes of memories, nothing detailed or clear but have 'miasma hearts' spawn across the surface and underground map, a tree like growth of miasma that holds an important memory from the past; they unlock in order of them happening as there are several stages of growth to them, you can find all before seeing the first one but you cant access the memory until the 'tree' has matured, they will grow more the closer you are to unlocking them; they slowly lead you back towards ganondorf and you need all of them to unlock the endboss
