#kirby#daily kirby#my art#digital#hal laboratory#nintendo#so like aliexpress used to have a terrible reputation in terms of like quality and truth in advertising and such right#but like. amazon and etsy are swamped with bootleggers and dropshippers now too#so I figured like. can't be any worse right?#besides I know how to double check descriptions and measurements and examine images critically#I've shopped shady sites before like back when banggood was the only place to get those cute diy miniature kits#(now you can get them at regular craft store chains which is Wild to me)#but I have never opened aliexpress because everyone was always just like 'Never Go There'#(but then again these days folks are doing massive temu hauls left and right)#(so clearly norms have changed even if common perception of aliexpress has not)#I open it up and I immediately find the rug I spent an entire day hunting for unsuccessfully earlier in the month.#and a ton of incredible bootleg kirbs.#and a style of hair clip I've been hunting for for *years*.#soooo I spent the entire day in a pastel fugue lol#(I have not spent any money yet but I'm probably gonna)#(so like I can't confirm that you're not gonna get scammed or whatever just like. use common sense.)#(don't trust sale prices read descriptions/reviews when available and try to avoid work stolen from independent artists)#(that's usually gonna be on printed stuff like phone cases and posters)#(and tbh I have no qualms with stolen official art as long as the quality is as advertised)#(but there's a big difference between stealing from Multinational Corporation and stealing from Some Guy)#anyway done rambling now <3#favorites

gearhead caramel is a little traditional roguelike on steam that’s based around mecha
more of an open world thing as I don’t believe it has a “goal” and is more about developing your gang
notably also has on foot combat
it’s a little passion project by a now apparently 50 year old guy and while the art is a little MSpaint-ey I’ve played earlier versions enough to know that he had a good idea and I’m glad he put it into a situation where he can get paid for it and Actually Develop It more then once every 3 months
on top of all of it it’s only around 5 bucks
#bats speaks#I have yet to dig into the summer sale but I'll reccomend this because gearhead caramel is neat and the dev is legitimately a good guy

got distracted fiddling with stuff LOL anyway ! got my doll things and shoved them in the corner. brown box has everything i want to currently work on - which is just fixing the other fairy to hang and various caroline an co customs ! the grey box just got reorganized a little bit so all my extra doll things fit inside there. yippee !!!!! all thats left is the wall stuff
#i have to finish customizing all the caroline porcelain dolls...one for each version of her lol except i havent even finished the main one#yet omg...i got her wig and eyes done but i need her clothes. cause i changed her actual clothing ugh#at least the other carolines (only two) need eyes and i just need to swap some wigs...then make rhe clothes#and i realized !!! that kate has a bonnet omg??? idk why it took me so long to realize but i want to give caroline red a bonnet but couldnt#figure it out but she literally has one...so either take it apart and make a pattern from it or see if i can fit it to her. but shes smaller#rhen the other three so idk#also realized that i could start on the mh au customs cause technicallt i have all their bodies...#danny was gonna be frankie but this one i got at a garage sale has like molded clothes and shoes which is annoying#but i was gonna cut her leg off anyway sooooo...#and i wanted the guy werewolf for vince but i do have this claudia and you know what he can be a bit cunty in the mh au LOLLL#then ofc catty noir for carmilla and i got the gen 3 draculaura for caroline just didnt open it yet...#and then also two little things ive found at garage sales that i wanted to customize to be caroline hehe

Oh man it's been like. 4 months of Jason Todd for me huh
#man...#ive. completely changed my blogs look. my icon. header. and 2 of my 3 top posts are all jason todd#i. did not think itd last. this long. at all#especially when i took such a long break while reading precrisis#i take alot of breaks whike reading comics actually#and yet. ive yet to be pulled out#the 10th anniversary of fnaf tried. and ive also been ralpho posting. but im still over here reading the comics#i mean into the pit got me pretty good. but i 3 stared nightmare mode and then it was back to jason#dang. wild he has such hold on me. but not that surprising either when i think about it#did you guys know i bought 2 comics from the 80s? i bought 2 actual genuine 40or somwthing year old comics#because they were cheap enough and had a short story i enjoyed of my favorite little guy#i actively sought them out even#sorry. i never ever expected to get into comics. kicks a pebble. gazes into the distance where there is an ocean in front of me#anyway i also bought the batman arkham games bc they were on sale for really cheap. when should i play arkham knight (the jason one)#i should i play the previous entries in the series first
