“so much of the new testament only half-tugs at me because jesus is so stoic and near-passive about going to his death in sacrifice so it’s hard to feel bad as he comes off as almost two-dimensional about it, but the one verse that gets me is luke 22:42.

i think it humanizes him more than anything else. he’s begging his father to make the inevitable pain just a little more bearable. a child willingly going to his death for his father without question, but in a nearing hour asking “will it hurt?” it makes me sad every time i think about it.”

I just learnt what happens in s4. Hey remember that video of Five's actor celebrating his 16th birthday on set while s2 was filming, the same season Lila was introduced to us, played by his then 30-something costar. Remember that. Anyway season 4 was totally not an uncomfortable watch whatsoever

on a social level i like my current choir more than the previous one. im actually getting to know people and enjoy talking and going to social events outside of choir which i havent done since my first choir. but also i definitely miss the music taste my last director had
