𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗙𝗨𝗟 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗢 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗚𝗨𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗟
Most faithful companion, appointed by God to be my guardian, my protector, and defender, and who never leavest my side, how shall I thank thee for thy faithfulness and love, and for all the benefits which thou hast conferred upon me?
Thou watch over me while I sleep; thou comfort me when I am sad; thou lift me up when I am down; thou avert the dangers that threaten me; thou warn me of those that are to come; thou withdraw me from sin, and excite me to good; thou exhort me to penance when I fall, and reconcile me to God.
Long ago should I have been thrust down into hell, unless by thy prayers thou hadst turned away from me the anger of God. Leave me not, nor forsake me ever, I beseech thee, but still comfort me in adversity, restrain me in prosperity, defend me in danger, assist me in temptations, lest at any time I fall beneath them.
Offer up in the sight of the Divine Majesty my prayers and groanings, and all my works of piety, and make me to persevere in grace until I come to everlasting life. Amen.

Good Morning!☀
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Hebrews 13:5
Much anxiety comes for many from wanting more than they have to the point that it blocks them from being thankful for what they already have. Working overtime to be able to afford the lifestyle they want; upset over things not progressing as they had hoped; difficulties that seem insurmountable, all eat away at their joy. They may feel that God has forgotten them.
It is no accident that the writer of Hebrews connected covetousness and discontent. As long as our contentment is based on things, we will always be at the mercy of circumstances. It is only when our contentment and focus is based on Christ being with us that the strivings vanish and joy rises up in our hearts.
God knows what we need. In his time, he will provide all that we need and even the desires of our hearts when we delight in him. He will he bring us through the present difficulties.
We may turn from him; his heart is always towards us. He will never leave us or forsake us!

Our Daily Homily
Tumblr media
by F.B. Meyer
"The Lord will not forsake His people for His great Name’s sake." – 1 Samuel 12:22
The certainty of our salvation rests on the character of God. Moses, years before, had pleaded that God could not afford to destroy or forsake Israel, lest the Egyptians and others should have some ground for saying that He was not able to carry out His purpose, or that He was fickle and changeable. "What wilt Thou do for thy great Name?" Samuel uses the same argument. We also may avail ourselves of it for our great comfort.
God knew what we should be-how weak and frail and changeful-before He arrested us and brought us to Himself. Speaking after the manner of men, we might say He counted the cost. He computed whether His resources were sufficient to secure us from our foes, keep us from falling, and present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. He foreknew how much forbearance, pity, consolation, and tenderness, we should require. And yet it pleased Him to make us His people. He cannot, therefore, now run back from His purpose; otherwise it would seem that difficulties had arisen which either He had not anticipated, or was not so well able to combat as He had thought. What an absurd suggestion! In the former case there would be a slur on His omniscience; on the other, upon His omnipotence.
"What if God should cast you into hell?" was asked of an old Scotchwoman. ‘"Well," she answered, "If He do, all I can say is, He will lose mair than I will."
The gracious promise given to Joshua may be appropriated by every trembling saint of God "I will never leave thee nor forsake thee." And to the poor and needy He says, "I the God of Israel will not forsake them."

The Harbor
Clang! Clang! The farrier's handiwork pounds the ground,
Each hoofbeat shattering air and crushing leaves.
My breath forms ghosts that shiver in the cold
And I watch as each succumbs and is lost.
Slam! My boot heel commands a charge.
Nightfall is come, and I am far from the Harbor.
Oh, woe be unto the man ignorant of the Harbor!
The Holy God surely smiles upon that hallowed ground.
Yes, Holy God, to be embraced as your charge!
How joyous a sight when a martyr leaves;
Cast from the dock into your arms and lost.
Lost only to us, the men that remain in the cold.
Mercy! Mercy! I yearn to be free of the cold!
I have begun to fear I may never see the Harbor,
Never feel its warmth as I'm reunited with what I've lost.
Hurry, damn you! I hear the undertaker breaking ground!
Oh, Holy God! I beg thee be merciful to the leaves,
The leaves that scream and bleed under my charge.
Your honour, your Holiness, I am innocent of your charge.
I swear on my faith that in my heart I am not cold,
Nor unfeeling, for I wept as I crushed the leaves!
Each stride broke my heart, but I had to reach the Harbor.
Have to still! You seek to detain me, but on what ground?
You heathens! Release me at once, for you have lost!
Faster! Faster! May you be swift; hope is not yet lost!
If boot and spur be insufficient, let my words charge:
My loyal steed, your heart must soar above the ground!
Think only of warmth, as death follows thoughts of cold.
Look! See the light through the branches and behold the Harbor!
Faster! Faster! The light will soon drown the sounds of leaves!
Praise be! Such beauty, such glory! Damned is the man who leaves,
And damned is he who dares forsake this eden of the lost!
And lo! The trees are naked of leaves in the Holy God's Harbor.
Yet their memory leaves red stains on my love, my muse, my charge.
I walk the scarlet streets, yet still shiver with cold,
And soon see why: frigid waves crash upon the Harbor's ground!
Of course! The Holy God was never the martyrs' charge!
Nor was it the lost or the leaves; the martyrs worship the cold!
And so, as I weep, my tears flood the Harbor, washing clean the bloodsoaked ground.

It’s important to believe that God is at work in your life, no matter the circumstances.

Me (raynon) and who i dubbed thee avalon le faenon and morganon (if you two are seperate that is) making out in front of your weeping form frfr BUT RAAAAAAAAAAGH YOU BITCHES GET IT
Also i bring on the table Castoria! Yuu!!! My girl who is like a onion many layers! but with each peeling you see a side you'd never think to see!! LIKE EUGHHH CASTORIA MY LOVESSSSS Did you guys know that her cheerful genki girl was all an act? That she acts like that bc people are less to kill her even if they cinstantly hit and scorn her if she constantly smiles and dissociates? Agreeing to the role she is meant to play only because she never had a choice on that matter?? MY GIRL WHO IS A WALKING PARANOID RACCOON INCARNATE!!!
Girl who WANTS FRIENDS SO BAD but doesnt let herself hope bc time and time again she is proven that people will only dissapoint and THEY WILL LEAVE HER AND THROW HER AWAY LIKE GARBAGE!!! CASTORIA WHO HAS SO MUCH RAGE OVER HER FATE LAMENTS OVER IT BC IT SUCKS HARD AND SHE WANTS TO LIVE but also BC she cares so much and had never wanted saber to take up the sword in the first place!!! BC SHE KNOWS SHE CANT SAVE BRITAIN BUT AT LEAST GOD THERE HAD TO AT LEAST BE A PERSON SHE CAN SAVE RIGHT???
ANYWAYS MY POINT IS: Yuu like that(tm). Yuu who is amiable. Yuu who is happy-go-lucky, Yuu who doesnt belong in NRC, but also Yuu who has no choice over being forced as prefect!! Yuu who smiles because this is the only way people will ever want them in this fucking place, yes there's no threat of death but how is this any different from fairy britain??!! Yuu who carries many deep grudges but cant spit them out bc they dont have that luxury!! Yuu who ran away from their fate in hope of being able to escape that hell only to find themselves in a smaller one! Yuu who has to come back nonethless to die and become the sword!!!!!
CASTORIA! YUU WHO HAD NO SPRING NOR SUMMER MEMORIES "but looking perhaps you people were my distant schoolday memories....!" HAHA KMSSSSSS SCHOOLDAY MEMORIES ISNT EVEN REAL ITS A FICTIONAL SET OF MEMORIES OKAY TIME TO KERMIT
No because considering a world where Castoria wasn't even afforded the courtesy of Spring or Summer memories—the entire reason as to why she was able to endure the Winter as Morgan because she hoped she would see the end of suffering and plight—and then bending it into Yuu—who has no place, who must always be seen as a mediator lest they be discarded and their title as Prefect stripped from them fucks me up so baddd.
The paranoia of keeping up an act because that's the only way you're palatable to others, harboring a deep decaying hatred and hurt for enduring things you shouldn't have had to for the sake of sparing someone else's feelings.
Forsaking your destiny because there was no way to save a land that wanted to rot in a void, their is no honor and being one of the many lambs sacrificed at the altar only a shallow grave to be dug. And yet, by God, does the need to save at least one person to know what it's like to have a true friend, to taste the bitterness of something that has been dangled out of your reach like fruit on a high branch and found on the ground partially eaten by ants who know naught of friendship or love of Spring and Summer.
Fall begets Winter, and the seasons will change always and that has always spelled a foreboding tale for Castoria!Yuu

When You’re Under Attack (4)
“If you fail under pressure, your strength is too small.” Pr 24:10 NLT
For the last few days, we have talked about how to handle satan’s attacks when they come. So, if you’re under attack today, do these:
(1) Be tough. Life is a collection of battles, which means it can also be a collection of victories. “Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1Jn 4:4). Reach within and draw on God’s strength. Go ahead; He longs to show you what He can do for you. “For He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me” (Heb 13:5-6). Did you get that? “He hath said…so that we may boldly say!” There is power in His Word when you speak it, believe it, and act on it.
(2) Depend on God’s wisdom. Jesus said, “Don’t worry…about how to answer the charges against you, for I will give you the right words and such wisdom that none of your opponents will be able to reply” (Lk 21:14v15 NLT). God has given you two things that always work: your mouth and His wisdom. When unexpected things arise, the Holy Spirit within you will rise to the occasion and speak through you, so start depending on Him.
(3) Trust God to stop the attack. The Bible says, “He causes wars to end throughout the earth” (Ps 46:9 NLT). God is in control, He is bigger than whatever you’re dealing with, and you’re on His mind this very moment. Your tears, your fears, and your pain have been noticed by Him—and He will move on your behalf.

Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.
Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear What man shall do unto me. Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle. For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp. Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly. But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.
Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever.
Amen. And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words. Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.
Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you. Grace be with you all. Amen. Written to the Hebrews from Italy by Timothy.

Good Morning!☀
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. Isaiah 41:10-11
We are repeatedly told in the Bible not to fear. We are repeatedly told in the Bible why we should not fear. We are repeatedly reminded that we have a living, loving God actively working in our behalf.
Yet we fear! Yet we let the latest news report shake our faith instead of trusting God and his word. He tells us in his word that difficulties will come, but he will be there to help us through. He promised that he would never leave us nor forsake us.
Isaiah asks the question, "Who has believed our report?". Have you believed God's report? Have you traded fear in for faith? Fear not, go forth in faith. With God, you can not lose. Without him, you can not win!

For He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. – Hebrews 13:5
What line does my thought take? Does it turn to what God says or to what I fear? Am I learning to say not what God says, but to say something after I have heard what He says? “He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
