he's probably used to gore and gritty stuff like that since he sees it often being a jujutsu sorcerer and all. not to mention his technique is literally blood. maybe he's desensitized to gore films, the most you'll get from him is a disgusted scowl.

BUT DID YOU SEE HOW QUICK HIS EYE OPENED WHEN HANAMI SHOWED UP BEHIND HIM. YOURE SO FUCKING FR ABT JUMPSCARES. Noritoshi is that guy who wouldn't scream or yelp but gasp really loudly and jump out of his skin.

i feel like they get him most in horror because of the music building up anticipation. if its one of those fake outs where the jumpscare comes a bit after, he's fucked UP. It makes him instantly miffed, as he tries to regain his composure. He swears he's not usually like this, it got him by surprise is all..!

Noritoshi is the type that'd only watch a horror movie if the story is rich and complex. He's the type of guy to like open endings that make you think.. if it's a guilty pleasure movie where all the protags make stupid decisions, he gets annoyed right off the bat.

He's groaning and complaining about how imbecile the characters are, but would still watch it with you because you personally invited him. If he's lucky you could fall asleep on his shoulder or [insert movie cliche here] how could he pass that up? But Noritoshi wouldn't be able to focus on you if he gets twice as annoyed because its a bad movie + jumpscares. it still startles him, but the movie is so terrible, he's embarrassed it got him, especially in front of you!!!

if you get involved and you tell him to quiet down, Noritoshi would shift his focus towards you. like that awkward guy who thinks he's being smooth and lowkey about how he cuddles up next to you. He wants to be the tough guy who's shoulder you can hide in, and he is!! just not.. with jumpscares.......

Having Things To Look Forward To In The Near Future as a cosmere fan was super easy and simple in 2022 because it was like ok this november we get the lost metal (kinda mid not super exciting but thats okay) and then in 2023 we get Three Whole New Books (and said books from the previews that got shared sounded super interesting and good. and they were!) and then at some point in 2024 we get The Fifth Stormlight Book (wow!) and it was so great and wonderful. this will not be so for being a cosmere fan in 2025. like ok on one hand wind and truth just came out and that keeps you fed for a good solid 6 months of going WOOOOOAH WOOOOOW THE IMPLICATIONS WOOOAH but then when that wears off its not like ok next year/at the end of this year we get a cool book! its like 3 years from now we get elantris 2

pretending you know what's going on in someone's head will be incorrect like 75% of the time but dear god is it fun. both of the two times ive made googoo eyes at dresspants coworker while talking to him (laughing loudly n smiling broadly too), eyecandy coworker came over n inserted himself into the conversation even though he was on the opposite side of the room.

now im not saying he was looking at me and getting jealous but i kinda am saying that. am i wrong and are there rational explanations for this? absolutely. alas i like this scenario too much

Gin barely gets any development in-canon which I think is unfortunate because out of all the port mafia characters she has a lot of potential? Most PM characters get development by explaining why they joined the mafia or why they stay there. Chuuya to protect the sheep after they turned against him, Ryunosuke for a reason to live, Tachihara as a double agent, etc. But what's Gin's reasoning? Did they force her to become an assassin after Ryunosuke joined? Or was it voluntary, did she do it because she wanted to remain involved in her brother's life? She doesn't have the same resentment for Ryu that she does in Beast so can we assume she's happy with their decision? What is it like being a non-ability user member of the mafia? What's her relationship like with the Black Lizard? We know Tachihara is very fond of them but can we actually see them interact outside of the plot events? Does she have any dreams or aspirations outside the mafia that she wishes she could achieve? Would she leave the mafia if she could, or would she only do it if her brother also leaves? Really wish Asagiri would stop sleeping on a really interesting character with a banger design

okay so its not very clear what exactly happened during the resurrection sunday live, and all we know is that koga and adonis probably didnt see what rei and kaoru were doing and that kaoru was whining like a bitch

kaoru says his, very famous, line, so we assume rei mightve actually bit kaoru

BUT maybe it was lightly and/or not too deep to not draw blood, since he does need to make the bloodsucking look real but also he already had the blood from adonis

and if that is true, then kaoru, while may not have the opportunity to be used as the sacrifice in public again, could still be able to provide blood for rei in another ritual potentially. like how adonis did.
