Lashanti’s 2024 essentials
Hey besties🫧 I finally have the ENERGY to make a post about products I’ve been in love with this year.
Hair
Let’s start off with hair. This year I’ve been heavily into hair mask and oils. I have very curly hair that’s been hard to maintain, but these products been making the detangling process way easier. Also leaves my hair healthier and stronger with less breakage. These include
Tgin miracle deep hydration hair mask
Mielle rosemary hair oil
OUAI leave in
Mielle rosemary mint clarifying sugar scalp scrub
These four products alone cause significant change in my hair
Body care/Feminine hygiene/ Perfume
This is one of my FAVORITE parts of my restock days. I spend so much money on this category and I’m not even mad at it. I love to stay feeling clean, fresh, and just smell so sweet and general. My favorite products I SWEAR by are
Rose water good wipes
Honeypot sensitive wash
Sugar cookie Native body wash
Sweet like candy Ariana Grande perfume
Philosophy fresh cream perfume
Philosophy fresh cream body lotion
Victoria's secret Tease perfume
Whole body deodorant from First aid beauty
YSL Black opium le parfum
Victoria's secret Sugared petals body mist
Victoria's secret Pistachio Crème body lotion
Kora organics turmeric BHA pore & brightening treatment mask
Trader joe's rosewater
Peter Thomas Roth pumpkin enzyme mask
Laneige cream skin toner and moisturizer
Vanicream gentle face wash
Vanilla sugar body oil
warm sugar cookie body oil
Tree hut birthday cake body scrub
Eos vanilla cashmere hand cream
I also love to do random sheet, feet, eye, and hand mask. I don't have any specific ones but I do gravitate towards earth therapeutics, tonymoly, the crème shop, and patchology.
Makeup
I enjoy getting dolled up. Makeup just be the icing on the cake. It's literally art to me and it's so fun. I feel like I finally found products and a routine that fits my face. I love to just enhance my natural features and add TONS of glitter. Here are my current MUST haves🥰
Victoria's secret fruity cereal lip mask
Victoria's secret sugar high lipgloss

Natasha denona mini starlette eyeshadow pallet

Jewelry/ Accessories
When it comes to my jewelry i'm a bit simple. I love crystal jewelry from crystal shops that I can pick out myself. I don't accessorize much but hopefully this winter i'll get into more. My jewelry and accessories must haves consist
Crescent moon necklace
Crystal beaded bracelets
Evil eye bracelet
Ruby ring
Kyanite ring
I like to stay protected and wear crystals that fits me as an individual or what kind of energy I want to put out. I always been obsessed with moon anything. Since I was born under the crescent moon I found it so me to wear since it literally represents me. Due the weather dropping I love to bring out the furs such as fur earmuffs and hats. Nothing screams warm, cozy, and boujee than fur. Whenever I wear mini skirts I LOVE to wear the most prettiest/dolly leggings I can get my hands on. I’m not really into claw clips but the flower hair clips was a little staple piece for me this spring/summer.
Misc
These are extra little items that I love to have on me this year that i’m not sure I should categorize them in. These items I never really leave my home with and these includes
Angel aura quartz
Aquamarine
Mini note pad
Pen
Cotton swabs
Pain pills
Hand sanitizer (I always get my hand sanitizers from bath and body works because they have the best smelling scents. My go to scents are strawberry poundcake, rose ivy, and vanilla romance)
Rose and lavender essential oil
A water bottle
Bag charms (I always keep hello kitty and my melody on me)
Pocket mirror
Mini hair brush
Gum
I hope you guys enjoyed my 2024 essentials list of products I loved throughout this year and will be using for as long as I live probably. i use drybar southern belle mousse, paul mitchell full circle leave in, and tgin rose water mousse in my hair.
i also alternate the above with ag care details defining cream and alterna my hair my canvas my way curl defining gel.
with all just squirt a healthy dollop and scrunch into your hair. i have short hair so i can go straight to sleep with it wet because it won’t tangle too horribly, but you might want to get a diffuser or bonnet.
when you wake up your hair should feel like it’s in a cast, which you break by mussing it up, brushing it lightly, etc.
also wash your hair multiple times, like do multiple rounds of shampoo while showering. it works wonders.
anyway good luck with your hair!!
thanks so much dude :D

You have a lot of hair 😍 drop the hair care regimen pls and thanks!
Thank you 🥰
I honestly don’t have much of a regimen to be honest! I do keep up with trims every three months though. And I’m honestly very lazy with my hair. I use the same like three or four products (TGIN products, cream of nature leave-in spray, Shea Moisture deep conditioner, Aussie moist conditioner, & head and shoulders shampoo)
I’m locing my hair within a month though.

hey @worstcasesanrio .. hair care info here
ok so these products are the every time ones. basically the ones on the right are done in the shower (shampoo then conditioner) and i brush it out with a detangling brush while its wet. typically between shampoo and conditioner. pls leave the conditioner in for at least 5 minutes or ur wasting the good conditioner.
the ones on the left are leave in. the mousse spray on the far left is first, a few pumps massaged into my roots and mids. then the leavein tgin conditioner on mids and ends. and finally a small amount of that ouidad gel on the ends and sorta mids sometimes.
these are the heavy duty products. the redken is a clarifying shampoo for every 3 or so hair washes. the olaplex no. 8 is a mask that goes on for 10 minutes, i try to use it every 3 washes too. finally the rose water mask is a deep treatment i leave on for at least an hour, once a month.
im still a curly hair novice but I'm starting to get the hang of it. im still open to tips if anyone knows any

Snowboard Kids 2
JP release: 19th February 1999
NA release: 1st March
PAL release: 30th April 1999 (AUS only)
Developer: Racdym
Publisher: Atlus
N64 Magazine Score: 86%
Some sequels try to reinvent the wheel, others try to make improvements on the original while some, like Snowboard Kids 2, just provide more of the same. The first Snowboard Kids was a pretty good game, and so is Snowboard Kids 2. You snowboard through some nice looking levels, using ski lifts to finish a “lap” and use items to hit other racers.
The story mode feels very much expanded upon, with a little town you can walk around acting as a menu and cutscenes before and after with some silly but fun little animations. In terms of what you actually play, it doesn’t actually change much, so it’s a nice example of how a bit of nice presentation can make something feel much more like a fulfilling experience.
One of the biggest issues in Snowboard Kids 2 is the track design. The themes are great, and includes space and underwater levels. The problem is the tracks are much flatter, which makes the game extremely slow. The speed issue was present in the first game, but this highlights it even more. Considering the absurdity of the game, the snowboards accelerating on flatter surfaces really shouldn’t be a problem.
There are a few nice minigames, such as a speed challenge using items and a trick mode. The most interesting was a Paperboy mission where you have to deliver newspapers to houses. Snowboard Kids 2 is in a nicer package than the first, but the lack of speed can just be frustrating.
Snowboard Kids 2 is criminally slow. Yes, we know that speed on your snowboard is dependent on the steepness of the hill. Yes, we know that if you fall or collide with something, you can only accelerate off as gravity allows. WE KNOW THESE TGINS! But in a game where reality gets cast aside with wilful abandon at every opportunity, in the name of things good in gaming, why pick this one law of physics to stick to? In places – particularly after a fall on a flat section – Snowboard Kids 2 is so arse-bendingly slow. It really and truly, purely and simply, utterly and completely MAKES YOU WANT TO SCREAM.
- James Ashton, N64 Magazine #28
Remake or Remaster?
A remake with all the courses with a bit more speed would be great.
Official Ways to get the game
There’s no official way to play Snowboard Kids 2

18. What hair products do you use?
(It's Cookie, I have to use my main for asks 😩)
HI COOKIE!!! 🍪🩵
I use a lot of hair products because...I'm always trying something 😭
I went to a hairdresser who specifically used Design Essentials, so that's what I rocked with for like....YEARS!
But since then, I've tried out Cream of Nature (I love their mousse), TGIN, Mielle (the rosemary mint hair growth oil DOES WORK!), The Doux (the mousse def foam!), and something else that I'm forgetting the name of but it comes in a jar and has a white label with a gray top. It's some curling cream that smells really yummy!
Beyoncé might get my money again because I REALLY wanna try out Cécred....but alas.
Sometimes though, I just wanna go back to the basics with Blue Magic and Pink + some tea tree oil. Just grease and shine 😭
I'm thinking about locing my hair though! But maybe keep the ends curly 🤔

i have quite a lot of hair breakage from going to bed with wet hair which i am trying to stop doing (i don’t use heat), do you have any (preferably affordable) product recommendations that could help with this in the time being?
Yup! So with hair breakage, the big goals are to have a gentle wash routine and to deep condition the hair. In general, you want to avoid shampoos that contain sulfates and opt for products that are designed for damaged hair instead. You also want to make sure that you're shampooing just the scalp, not the mids and ends of the hair. Introducing a deep conditioning treatment and a leave-in conditioner into your routine will also help to deal with the breakage.
The best products for damaged hair tend to be from the Olaplex line, but those can get pricey. So instead, I would try the Monday Haircare Moisture Shampoo or Tresemme Keratin Repair Shampoo, Dove Hair Therapy Conditioner for Damaged Hair Breakage Remedy, Pantene Hair Mask Miracle Rescue Shots, or the tgin Miracle RepaiRx Anti-Breakage Serum, and the Sun Bum Revitalizing 3 In 1 Leave In Treatment.
Other things you might want to consider are:
Getting regular trims: trims can help get rid of split ends, preventing them from traveling up the hair shaft and causing more breakage.
Avoiding tight hairstyles: Styles like tight ponytails, braids, and buns can cause stress on the hair and lead to breakage. Go for looser hairstyles instead.
Being gentler while brushing: Use a wide-toothed comb or a brush with flexible bristles to avoid unnecessary tension on the hair. Start from the tips and work your way up to the roots. If you can, wait until your hair is dry to brush it.
Protecting your hair from the sun: UV rays can damage the hair cuticles, leading to breakage. Wear a hat or use hair products with UV protection (like the Sun Bum 3 in 1 treatment) when spending time in the sun.
Using a silk or satin pillowcase, or putting your hair up in a silk wrap before going to sleep: friction is one of the main reasons for manual damage that leads to split ends and breakage, and a silk or satin pillowcase can help to reduce that friction. This one is $10 on Amazon and has good reviews.
Finally, breakage can be a symptom of a larger problem, such as nutritional deficiencies or an underlying medical condition. If you're working to repair your hair but still noticing a lot of breakage, you may need to supplement biotin, vitamin D, or omega-3 fatty acids or speak with your doctor, especially if you're noticing other symptoms.

Discover the Power of Rose Water: Dermatologist-Backed Tips for Hair and Scalp Care
The beautiful scent isn’t the only perk.
by Marcio "MZA"
There's nothing we love more than multipurpose beauty products — rose water being one of them. Not only does it give Jennifer Aniston glowing skin but it also wields serious perks for both hair and scalp. And let's not forget that it smells amazing either. To learn more about rose water's rise in popularity among celebs and beauty enthusiasts alike, we spoke to a few haircare experts.
Is Rose Water Good for Your Hair?
"Rose water is amazing for the hair," says Lin Chen, co-founder of sustainable beauty brand Pink Moon. "It's hydrating, and adds moisture to damaged, dry hair 𑁋 it's especially wonderful for processed or colored hair."
Rose water is a mild astringent with anti-inflammatory properties that can also help to reduce oiliness, Dr. Marisa Garshick, board-certified dermatologist at MDCS Dermatology, tells us. So those with oily scalp, dandruff, or seborrheic dermatitis can definitely benefit from incorporating rose water into their haircare and scalp routine.
Does Rose Water Help Hair Growth?
Yes. Because rose water is beneficial to the overall health of the scalp, it can help establish a good foundation for hair growth and help prevent hair loss. "Rose petals are also high in vitamins A, B3, C, and E, which nourish the scalp and stimulate hair follicles, promoting hair growth," explains Chen.
What Hair Types Benefit From Using Rose Water?
You may be pleased to learn that rose water is suitable for all hair types, so there's no harm in giving it a try. In terms of which hair type will benefit most, Dr. Garshick says those with oily scalp and hair can benefit from its astringent properties, while those who have dry scalp and hair can benefit from the hydrating and moisturizing ones.
Can You Make Your Own Rose Water?
Rose water is really easy to make by simmering or by distillation. As the first step for both methods, it is important to pluck the rose petals from the stems to get rid of any residue.
"To make rose water by the simmering method, add rose petals to a pot and cover the petals with distilled water, allow the water to simmer until the petals lose their color," instructs Dr. Garshick.
"To make rose water through distillation, place a bowl in the center of a pot and put petals and distilled water in the pot," says Dr. Garshick. "Next, cover the pot with the lid upside down and place ice cubes in the lid. Bring the pot to a boil and then allow it to simmer until the petals lose their color."
How Should Rose Water be Applied To The Hair?
Rose water can be applied directly to the hair or scalp as shampoo, conditioner, an after-shampoo rinse, or as a mist. Although the application may vary depending on whether you make your rose water at home or buy a hair product infused with rose water, the results will be very similar.
