#op #2 of them in fact #currently making a frame weaving loom (and by that i mean my dad idk enough about wood working and this wood is too expensive to fuck up)#and getting into mechanical keyboards #i already have a lotta yarn so the real costs rn are the keyboards #which are like at least 100usd a pop #what sucks is that they all seem to be 60% keyboards or tkl's and like. i need my fn and number pad keys pls and thx #debated sacrificing the num pad and getting a seperate one bc wowza these custom boards are absolutely gorgeous but #i am on such a budget and a cheap (cheap!!!) keyboard i found that i quite like is still gonna run me 200cad #if i got a pretty keeb and a seperate numpad i could easily be looking at $500+ like lordy #that's not even counting the switches i want to get (gateron baby kangs which are. $66. #like. yknow ?#sorry ive hit that point of hyperfixation where i have to give everyone a pokemon team n this wouldnt leave my mind #unovan/regular is Akiras n hisuian is Akechis . for obvious reasons #if u know pokedex entires n movepools etc etc #the fact that they also match their color schemes is a happy accident #i have a lot of ideas for these 2...........#also just appreciating hisuian zororark for a sec. what a gorgeous fucked up creature im so glad they had zoroarks og creator make it too #i love their signature moves too.... night daze n bitter malice......#their stats n types match p well too tbh. hisuian is technically stronger (in special attack) and faster #unovan is a balanced mixed attacker and its dark type gives it an edge against hisuians ghost type #and unovans dark type n better physical attack can mirror Arsénes 2 main attack types #while hisuians ghost and normal types can be compared to curse and either phys or almighty damage #unovan and hisuian zorua are called the tricky fox pokemon and baneful fox pokemon respectively #unovan zoroark tends to stay in packs n is protective of others of its kind and hisuian will attack so fiercely that it harms itself #i. really like zoroark. can u tell #BUT YEAH i just think that. yeah #even hisuian zoroarks origins could be similar to Akechi if u squint hard enough #n both of their illusionary abilities can be compared to both palace stuff n the third semester........#also . that one unovan Zoroark dex entry that talks abt ppl who are lonely asking Zoroark for illusions of others. #watched castlevania nocturne 👍#if im being so honest i dont even like netflix's castlevania but alucard evokes a primal insanity in me a little bit #i am predictable and basic im painfully aware. like painfully painfully aware. sorry #i think i liked this one better than the original series? but also i kinda hated the original series anyway so. lol #the only things i enjoyed really were the fucked up bits between dracula and alucard #and anything involving isaac was immediately great. i watched seasons 3 and 4 exclusively for isaac #i could not care less about what trevor belmont was up to at any point tbh esp in seasons 3 and 4 #anyway this was average. it was fine. i still think the sense of humor is crass and immature #we dont need to say fuck every other word but #yknow. it was alright #the only reason i really watch any of netflix's castlevania is bc it is some of the most gorgeous modern animation in the field rn #in actuality i am not immune to really really really good animation #mine #castlevania

whenever ppl ask me what my type is (or even like. what celebrities I find attractive) I have a rly hard time pinning it down for them bc things like familiarity actually factor in a LOT for me so I don't tend to immediately recognise whether someone I've never seen before irl is hot or not. actually if we wanna get properly into it the reality of how attraction works for me is that I fall in world-rearrangingly devastating love with someone and my "type" then redefines itself accordingly as a category of ppl who remind me of them in specific subtle/less-than-subtle ways and the imprint of that sticks with me forever so whenever I find someone instinctively beautiful I'm always just seeing the ghost of past loves in their face or the way they hold themselves. but I can't explain that to ppl bc I feel like it comes across weird and a little creepy so I just laugh and tell them "well its arbitrary, I'm just attracted to ppl on an individual basis! um and also ayo edebiri is sooo gorgeous" which is true

#I mean it makes total sense bc there are some ppl who mean so much to u that just seeing them triggers ur oxytocin like crazy #so of course being reminded of them when looking at a stranger is going to manifest as attraction #most of my friends are genuinely jaw droppingly gorgeous to me bc i have such strong affection for them how can i not find that there!!#there are definitely some celebrities I consider pretty/handsome. but as an aesthetic quality not from a place of attraction #its like looking at a nice wallpaper pattern or smth #idk. having a definitive answer for what i find attractive doesnt especially matter to me bc its such a fluid thing #in the same way that having a distinct sexuality/gender identity doesnt matter to me either. i dont really like boxing myself in w labels #I mean I like using words like dyke and butch as a shorthand bc they point in the right kind of direction. but theyre not exclusive to me #I feel like this world constantly tries to interrogate and label things in a way thats pretty unnecessary tbh #like I get that having categories is important to some people. but not everyone yknow. its interesting to think abt tho #language will never be succint and perfect enough to define an entire human by its own nature!! all communication is a proxy measure #anyway im extremely tired. yes this is somewhat related to prev tamino post btw bc I was thinking abt how he looks like someone else #peace and goodnight on planet earth #.diaries

it's weird being steeped in the cultural opinions of this website and then interacting with other people and realizing that they like, think autism is a bad word and it's rude to say someone might have autism. i was talking with someone about Ernst Haeckel who was a scientist and artist who did these EXTREMELY detailed drawings of microscopic organisms and he did like THOUSANDS of them. and she was like 'there was something going on with him for sure!' in a euphemistic way and i was like yeah. he was probably autistic. you don't have to talk around it and pretend that's not what you're saying

#just say you think he had autism!! he probably did!! and that's great tbh he got to devote his life to something he really loves #loved**#and he was really really good at it! he produced all these gorgeous scientifically accurate drawings of creatures most people never see #and we still look at those drawings today nearly 200 years later #ok now im just going on an ernst haeckel rant which. isn't exactly what i was trying to talk about #but he was an amazing person #and there's plenty of other scientists and artists who were neurodivergent in some way and it's not like. bad. to acknowledge that #my post
