Dc x dp idea 17
When the GIW try and get the anti ecto acts passed the justice league is on top of it. They argue that it would go against the meta human acts.
Giw are claiming that since there dead they no longer are human and they are non sentient to get it through. This leads to an investigation on the ghost to prove otherwise.
John, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman are all off to go investigate amity. They are going to prove they aren’t non sentient and shouldn’t be excluded from protections.
The four did not expect the chaos that is amity. daily ghost attacks, a child hero, the GIW already shooting first even before the bill is pass and then the Fenton parents. Mad scientist bent on dissection.
John is fed up at the residents of the infinite realm. They just keep going invisible or flying off whenever one of them attempt to talk to them.
The only one that is remotely of use is phantom. But Anytime he sits still long enough to talk the GIW of the Fenton parents are actively trying to shoot and capture him.
Now Batman is handling the investigation on the Fenton parents. His suspicions are child neglect and/or abuse. Danny grades slipped hard is constantly away from home the few time he was at home the weapons in the house attacked him.
The turning point is not necessarily hood but does prove they have sentient thought. It’s skulker hunting down Danny not phantom. Skulker likes to make Danny’s life hard and said he was hunting the ghost hunters youngest child.
It proves they have enough sense to target ppl based on others actions. Plus a few others examples such as lunch lady being upset about her lunch menu being changed. As well a 100 page essay Jazz Fenton handed Wonder Woman.
This all ends with the anti ecto laws not passing, Danny and jazz being removed from there parents care, the turning off of the portal and the Fenton parents in jail.

I've seen a piece of fanart about the in-universe Gothamite's guide to ships Bruce is part of and it got me thinking about that with the albatross duo (who are looped together cause have u seen them interacting with each other. like they'd ever break off their bond). The average Gothamite discusses the duo's potential/speculative third on at least a bi-weekly basis cause there's literal no other gossip in the god-forsaken city-
I think the most popular person that they're shipped with is Harvey- both pre & post Two-Face. Older Gothamites remember seeing the three of 'em running about the city when they were all pups and younger ones saw pictures and tabloid articles about Harvey and Bruce and R. Post Two-Face tho... it's childhood friends + doomed lovers and just tragedy all around so it's still a popular ship I think.
Some other ships include- one with that Metropolitan Journalist, Clark Kent- who's the only one to have gotten an interview with both their pathetic lil mew mew Bruce Wayne and his knight R, at the same time. And the fact that he left the grounds of R's mansion wearing very different clothes from when he first came to the city really didn't help. (Batman needed help from Superman for a thing, and one event led to another and ruined all of Clark's clothes. It was only by pure chance that R had spare clothes in the man's size in the storage.)
Another one is with Batman, the city's Dark Knight. Now, R and the Bat think they're being subtle but everyone knows they chase each other across the city's roofs. Some people speculate that R's being unfaithful to Bruce but that's like a minority opinion (Alfred laughs at that when he unwittingly comes across those kinds of posts).
Post JL formation though, the duo- as they're the main investors for the League ofc- would get shipped with. So. Many. Of. The. Heroes. Superman? Yeah, everyone's seen the way he carried Bruce Wayne out of a building princess-carry style. And the way he caught R whilst they were falling from a high place. Wonderwoman? She curls around protectively around the both of them during press conferences. The Green Lantern? The Flash (Barry and R have a laugh at that)? They all play into it tho. Maybe there is an underlying attraction there somewhere or maybe they're focusing the attention (of being many superheroes' 'weaknesses') on R + Bruce bc they can protect themselves.
Post Damian introduction tho, I feel like Talia would become more and more of a popular candidate for their third. She does linger around Bruce and R often, and later on it would be more of a public knowledge that Talia is Damian's birth mother so they all speculate that the three of them were in a secret courtship when Bruce and R were both out of the city.
The kids all have their favourite candidates and they make their picks known on Twitter.
(Did u know I had this ask in my mind last night and I wrote in my notes tell myself to send it to you in the morning bc I know that our short timeframe together is around that time)
I love all of this.
Everyone not involved has a stake in it. R gets dragged into YouTube compilation with Bruce. “The Prince and Knight of Gotham being the IT COUPLE for 6 minutes”. Then it expands into “A Deep Dive into Gotham’s It Couple” which then continues into who they’re potentially dating or hooked up with up. There’s a casual comment from the commentator about how they wouldn’t mind being a third.
The kids hang it over each other’s head anytime something happens. Jason would vote Diana but thinks she’s too good for Bruce so he’s with Damian in the Triple Parent team. Dick is with Clark and always has been. As a bit they do also say Batman isn’t any good for their parents, knowing that Batman is literally one of their parents.

Reposted from @andrerossigeek A phenomenal MASTERPIECE is this reimagined art from the DC's Super Heroes guidebook from 1982. @dickinhope got to have original artists @garcialopez9954 and Joe Rubinstein to draw and ink this AMAZING sketch. IT BLEW MY MIND in a way I had to post and make very little fanboy alterations so the couple would match my favorite versions of themselves! The original piece comes rightly after. It doesn't matter if you're a fan of this relationship or not, the beauty of this art is UNDENIABLE!! Thank you Rich, for giving the world the opportunity to appreciate this rarity. And congratulations on such original idea, the initiative and specially on all the effort of putting it together! I am already a fan of your good taste, LOL! . So, last night I had a dream that I redrew an old piece that I did a long time ago. It was always one of my favorite illustrations . Also, one of my more popular ones. Unfortunately the original drawing never quite came together the way I had imagined. I have a bit more knowledge today, than I did back then. So I thought I'd give it another go! This time I added Diana, and I'm going to add Cassie, as well! How y'all dig this redo! Scroll to see the older version from sketch to completion! #DC #dccomics #Superman #superboy #batman #Robin #wonderwoman #wondergirl #theflash #kidflash #connerkent #cassiesandmark #timdrake #bartallen #clarkkent #brucewayne #dianaprince #barryallen #redraw #reimagine #doover #comics #anime #manga #myart #artistoninstagram #artistontumblr

Canvas Art Prints - Make your Walls Pop with Inktuitive
You may not be a child of the 60’s, but as part of the millennial generation (born between the years 1981 - 1996), the fascination with Pop Art has not waned. Spearheaded by Andy Warhol’s soup cans and Roy Lichtenstein’s comic strips, the Pop Art revolution completely transformed the way Art is viewed and appreciated by the masses. Those edgy explosions of colour are still making bold statements today through the medium of inspirational canvas art prints.
Pop Art in the 1960s made a brash statement against Abstract Expressionism. It challenged the Art world of elitism – becoming Art for the people. And the people loved it! Mass produced statement pieces and posters reflected the real world and this connection with pop culture is what made it so popular. Motivational canvas art prints have become a desirable option to bring these ‘in-your-face’ talking points into your home and offices spaces.
At Inktuitive, that is our vision. We believe that by simply changing your environment, you could change your life. The easiest way to do that is through our high quality canvas art where we have reinterpreted Pop Art to boldly reflect the aspirational and postmodern world we live in.

Superman Fanfic Descriptions
Informative: Superman has a lot on his hands, planning a future with Lois, keeping Metropolis safe, and leading the Justice League... but everything will change when Lex unleashes his latest weapon. Superman will have to make the hardest decision he has ever made to either save his future...or save the world.
Apologetic: Superman saves the world, again. Sorry that this description sucks :( Please let me know how I can fix it. Theres so many mistakes. I don't have a beta reeder...
Attention Leech: My latest Superman fic! Please leave me some comments! Let me know if you like it. Not sure if I will finish it, but comments might help! Comments welcome! WOO!
Honesty: Pure Superman smut. One chapter. No plot. Enjoy.
Trap: Superman and Lois have been together a long time. Follow their journey through marital bliss to one another and all their ups and downs. (Superman/Batman ending)
Imagines: Imagine there is no Lois Lane, but you are the hot shot reporter at the Daily Planet and you're basically Lois and Superman has the hots for only you.
Mary Sue: Korestella Galatica is impervious to everything, even kyptonite, and she's stronger than Superman, and smarter than Batman, and looks better in a corset than Wonderwoman. Watch as the justice league fawns and becomes uber protective of this precious cupcake, only for her to make the ultimate sacrifice for Superboy, her secret lover. So sad.
Too much work: My companion piece to "Krypton's Deep Water" but before "Earth's Blinding Sun". Read "Infinite Stars" for backstory, which is a prequel to UserSupes69's fabulous introspective piece about Clark's first day at the Daily Planet (but before he joins Justice League) entitled "Only Glasses."
Mary SueII: Korestella Galatica is back from the dead! And she finds herself head of the Justice League at Superman's request...
ASS: Lex/Mercy, Lex/Lois/Mercy, Batman/Lois, Lois/Jimmy, Jimmy/Perry White, Supergirl/Powergirl, Krypto/Supergirl (comfort), Lois/Zoid (abusive), Jimmy/Batgirl, Batgirl/LiveWire, Bibbo/Wonderwoman, Flash/Wonderwoman (implied), Green Lantern/Aquaman, Aquaman/Mera (domestic violence), Lois/Aquaman, Raven/Beastboy, Superman (small cameo)
Virgin: Superman fic with Wonderwoman/Superman romance! It's my first fic, so please be gentle... teehee
Jerry Springers: Superman is carrying Batman's baby and Lois has died! But now Lex is back and will stop at nothing to get Superman back! But the SuperBat baby is coming!!!!
F*cked up imagines: Imagine that instead of a penis, Superman has an alien hybrid stamen flower genitalia. How would Lois deal? Inspired by a drunken skype session with my bestie...
#tag yourself#be honest#sometimes reading the descriptions is more amusing than reading the story#I'm informative#and attention leech#and I was a virgin

All That's Wrong with Justice League!
Before you all start bashing me with the title 'Marvel fanboy,' know that I'm neither a hardcore Marvel nor a DC supporter. The only hero that I stand by is The Dark Knight, and that's why I'm so pissed off at DC right now.
So, let's talk about; why DC Extended Universe turned out to be such a big disappointment.
It all starts with Superman. Personally, I never liked that guy. I mean seriously, why would you put a guy in a team when he has all the power of the team combined, and then some more. The only weakness he has is a piece of rock (kryptonite). If it was even Rock the Dwayne Johnson, I would still get it, but just a rock! Seriously! He doesn't even do much to hide his identity. Now, that's just lazy scriptwriting.
With him in the picture, Justice League seems like the typical 'class project groups,' where one does all the hard work and others simply sit and complain. Now, it wasn't all that bad, 'Man of Steel' actually gave me high hope for a better Superman. With a good story and no underwear up front. It seemed like DC franchise was about to head in the right direction.
Then 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' happened, and It got me confused. I didn't actually hate the movie. I was kind of psyched about the new Batman. And personally, I thought Ben Affleck nailed it as Batman/Bruce Wayne, in this movie. The criticized plot about Clark Kent's (Superman) mother having the same name as Bruce Wayne's mother, was kind of a bummer. But, growing up watching B-grade Bangladeshi Dhalliwood and Indian Bollywood movies meant that I was mildly able to relate to that. In terms of Hollywood standard; that’s bad.
But, with Gal Gadot's graceful performance as Wonderwoman, Ben Affleck's Badass action as Batman, and the group of powerful heroes (Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg) sequenced to arrive next. All that kept me hooked up with the hipe for upcoming 'Justice League.'
And then finally it released on 15th, November 2017 and all hope went down the drain. The story didn't make sense. During the first half of the movie Bruce Wayne (Batman) and Diana Prince (Wonderwoman) spent their time uniting a group of people with extraordinary power, then eventually coming to realize that they are useless without Superman. For a strong and independent character like Batman, being so dependent on someone was hard to gulp. Then so many characters being introduced so fast, it was hard to relate to their motive and intention. A good superhero movie requires a great villain. Steppenwolf was nothing even close to that. There was nothing crazy like Joker or scary like Thanos vibe to this character. Not to forget Henry Cavill's (Superman) CGI mustache just screamed out lack of dedication by the actors. Overall it felt like a last-minute assignment submission, just to get a pass.
DC is still trying to push this through upcoming movies like Aquaman, The Flash, batman, and a sequel to Wonderwomen. To help them build the characters and a new and strong plot for Justice League. But, with recent rumors like Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill leaving the DC Extended Universe. All hopes seem at stake.
If DC is open to suggestions I would say; rather than trying to put broken pieces together, it's time to start over. And maybe keep Superman dead this time.

As I head home from #SDCC I find this photo that perfectly sums up the Con for me and how I feel. I’ve done a lot of interviews lately and almost everyone asked me about the bullying and toxic fandom that’s been going on. While I am fully aware of of the negativity, and I have also been victim to bullying myself, I choose to attack the negative with positivity. I work tirelessly to create a safe and uplifting community for Her Universe and I do believe that positivity is contagious. We had the 5th Annual Her Universe Fashion Show on Thursday night and this is a photo of the winning designers and their models. This photo also sums up the relationship between all of the designers, junior designers, models, team members, sponsors, fans and everyone else who was a part of our show. Our show is a competition, but instead of having a catty, backstabbing and competitive environment, I’ve witnessed a group of incredible people who support, empower and help each other. Everyone came together to genuinely support one another. This is the message I am choosing to take away from SDCC 2018. Let’s keep this going! (Photo by @brianmichaelsims ) #heruniversefashionshow

ABOUT SAN DIEGO COMIC CON
Comic-Con International: San Diego is a nonprofit educational corporation dedicated to creating awareness of, and appreciation for, comics and related popular artforms, primarily through the presentation of conventions and events that celebrate the historic and ongoing contribution of comics to art and culture.
Comic-Con International: San Diego began in 1970 when a group of comics, movie, and science fiction fans — including the late Shel Dorf, Ken Krueger, and Richard Alf — banded together to put on the first comic book convention in southern California. Over the years, Comic-Con has become the focal point for the world of comics conventions. The event continues to offer the complete convention experience: a giant Exhibit Hall (topping over 460,000 square feet in its current incarnation); a massive programming schedule (close to 700 separate events in 2014), featuring comics and all aspects of the popular arts, including hands-on workshops and educational and academic programming such as the Comics Arts Conference; anime and film screenings (including a separate film festival); games; the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards, the “Oscars” of the comics industry; a Masquerade costume competition with prizes and trophies; an Autograph Area; an Art Show; and Portfolio Reviews, bringing together aspiring artists with major companies.
Comic-Con has presented literally thousands of special guests at its conventions over the years, bringing comics creators, science fiction and fantasy authors, film and television directors, producers, and writers, and creators from all aspects of the popular arts together with their fans for a fun and often times candid discussion of various art forms. The event has seen an amazing array of comics and book publishers in its Exhibit Hall over the years. Over it’s four-and-a-half decade-plus history, Comic-Con International has continually presented comic books and comic art to a growing audience. That love of the comics medium continues to be its guiding factor as the event moves toward its second half-century as the premier comic book and popular arts style convention in the world.

Liverpool John Moores Level 6 Symposium at Tate Liverpool 2018
This year’s Level 6 Symposium taking place at Tate Liverpool showcased a wide variety of topics, from the environment to a range of cinema.
Under the topic of environmental art, Susan Davies started the day with a paper on Danish artist Olafur Eliasson’s piece, Ice Watch (2014). Her interest in Scandinavian art was sparked by a trip to Copenhagen on a university bursary where she experienced the Triennial, exposing her to all kinds of Scandinavian art. The piece, 100 tons of ice from Greenland cut into 12 blocks, was to showcase the extent of climate change. Ironically, this piece has a large carbon footprint of 30 tons. This paper discussed whether the environmental impact the piece caused was worth the message it was portraying. This piece was originally exhibited in City Hall Square in Copenhagen, it was then moved to Paris after a visit from the French ambassador requested it be moved there. This piece’s aim was to bring the consequences of the global warming to the public in an interactive setting, by presenting the melting ice in public places. Susan’s paper was informative as to how
A paper I found interesting in particular was Lucy Mcintyre’s, named Money and Murderabilia. The paper discussed how items associated with criminals can be sold for five figure sums. The morality surrounding this was the main focus of this paper. John Wayne Gacy, a renowned serial killer during the 70s produced a lot of art whilst on death row, this art is still in circulation on the art market; now that Gacy has been executed, whoever possesses the art receives the profit.
An interesting comparison that she made was that we treat great artists of the past differently despite the fact they are also criminals. Her example was Caravaggio, who was known for his short temper. He was in trouble with the authorities and arrested many times. His worst crime even includes the murder of his tennis partner after an argument, demonstrating his irrational behaviour. Despite this, Caravaggio is still presented as one of the greats and his crimes are overlooked by a lot of galleries who display his work. This paper explored the idea of whether we should separate the art from the artist because the skill that an artist possesses is regardless of their actions outside of producing art. Another point made was that criminals could produce art, but art not created by criminals could reflect crime. The disturbing piece Return of the Repressed (1997) by Jake and Dinos Chapman shows two girls conjoined together. The piece is meant to represent the Freudian theory of displaced sexual desires and also sexual attraction to children. The idea is that, the fact that the children have been sexualised has caused them to mutate into this conjoined being, creating an uncomfortable visual.
This paper’s exploration of crime and how it links to art is something that I found fascinating.
Callum Craddock’s piece also explored the idea of crime relating to art. His paper discussed the tattoos found on prisoners in USSR prisons. They are linked to paintings that most people would be surprised that these criminals had knowledge of. The prisoner had the mythical Greek character of Prometheus tattooed on his back. The original story tells that Prometheus was eventually saved from the cliff face by Heracles. However, the prisoners depiction of Prometheus shows him freeing himself from the chains put there by Zeus. This is to show that the prisoner is responsible for his own freedom and that he does not need to be freed by anyone else, like Heracles with Prometheus.
There was another tattoo shown that was inspired by Bellini’s Madonna of the Meadow (1505) which depicts a Madonna of humility. It was noted that white prisoners in USSR prisons were most likely Christian and would therefore wish to depict Christian figures on their bodies. The Madonna figure was supposedly meant to watch over the prisoner in the tattoo. Callum commented that this tattoo showed the prisoner to be of weak character because the tattoo was a coping mechanism for his imprisonment, rather than the previous tattoo which showed the prisoner taking control of his situation and depicting a symbol of his freedom. Overall, Callum’s paper showed how prisoners of the USSR used their skin as a canvas for pieces of art during their imprisonment as opposed to just receiving criminal symbols on their skin like the majority of criminals who have tattoos in prison.
Lesley White was the next speaker who I found interesting. Her paper was on the work of Zack Snyder, the director best known for the films 300 and the Superman film Man of Steel. She spoke about Snyder’s background as a classically trained painter which sheds light on his stylistic choices in film. Lesley also started to compare the religious parallels within Snyder’s work. A comparison was made between the aesthetic of the film 300 and Caravaggio’s paintings. The Spartan warriors are shown with red capes in the film, much like Caravaggio’s Saint John the Baptist in the Wilderness. The lighting in the film is dramatic in the contrast between light and dark, much like the chiaroscuro in Caravaggio’s pieces.
The film Man of Steel has many religious parallels, the main one being depicting Superman as the Messiah coming to save the earth. Also in Batman vs Superman, as Superman is lowered down by Wonderwoman and Batman much like Christ’s Descent from the Cross by Rubens. A comparison was also drawn with Michelangelo’s Pieta with how Superman was lying across Wonderwoman’s lap, much like Jesus across Mary’s. These religious parallels show Snyder’s work to have a lot more thought and merit than perhaps critics have given him credit for.
Another example of a paper referring to the use of film was James Thomas’s, which explored Andy Warhol’s filmmaking. Warhol’s Screen Test Compilation shows a subversion in the filmmaking process, rather than producing a screen test before delving into making a film, the screen tests became the film. This shows Warhol’s rebellious attitude to filmmaking. His films lack pretense due to their lack of production. His piece Kitchen was created by leaving a camera rolling on purpose in order to capture the natural movements of the people on film. Warhol also included transgender stars in his later productions along with other queer ideas.
The last speaker of the symposium was Felicity Grant who presented a piece of London’s King’s Road which was home to the birth of the punk movement with Vivienne Westwood’s shop. The Chelsea Drugstore was a famous business on the road, which was home to drugstores, newsstands and bars all within the same building. The shop was a filming location in A Clockwork Orange. Vivienne Westwood opened her shop which later became known as SEX on this road, selling 50s clothes with the idea of ‘anti-fashion’. Sid Vicious even advertised for band members in the shop window to later form the Sex Pistols, the most famous Punk band in British history. Overall Felicity’s piece explored the cultural ideas that sparked on this once creative and innovative road, which is now slave to faceless brands such as McDonald's, now having lost its individuality.

Period for that Spider-Man area of our list, that have a number of the Miracle games that are toughest ever. For the welfare of attention, I will need to have enjoyed atleast forty activities in my research and it was hard to choose one game that was terrible . One hurdle is, Warner is really a film business together with a videogames founder and Miracle is not. The campaign sees players step in to the position of Globe of the rep of winners,” in a contest prepared by The Collector. As generally in most battle activities, the story in WONDER CONTEST OF WINNERS is actually simply a justification to produce superheroes get into fisticuffs with one another. A solution that is probable here should be to stabilize the entire crystal method utilizing Market crystals being an extra method to get uncommon champions. There is also the desire that the video rights might be someday reclaimed by Miracle with a of its different superhero attributes that are important. Your Wonder Competition of Winners Hack 100% Performing Limitless is used to avoid the Wonder Competition of Winners cheats technique into thinking that you have paidfor Crystals, however many Gold, and Units you add. Listed here is hoping Miracle, Warner offer many more good films within the next ten years to us. Even Comics, founder of people such as Batman, Superman and Wonderwoman, gets in to the tendency. The only Wonder sport I have enjoyed for a very long time (2+ decades) is Wonder Puzzle Mission. The activities must not be viewed as more although as prologues like friend pieces, he explained.
The 4 and 5star heroes are achievable but they are uncommon, and consequently don't expect to get a personality at these ranges. Gunn recently advised IGN he and a role 'll play after Conflict, but introducing a being who will improve fact itself implies that the Miracle Cinematic premise will probably continue to improve in scope, significantly at night level of the heroes' past activities. As a fellow Marvel Zombie, and someone acutely thinking about (even the dreadful) Miracle games, I totally agree. Simply period may tell whether Marvel Games' risk can pay off (Telltale's Parents sport would be the first check, developing someday this year).

5 Things She is Not
How Marvel’s Jessica Jones is a feminist critique of Hollywood
Marvel’s Jessica Jones may be a rough-around the edges, dry, and sarcastic asshole with a good heart, but even more important are the things she is not. She is not weak, she is not dumb, she is not hyper-sexualized, she is not one-dimensional, she is not boy-obsessed, and she is definitely not reinforcing Hollywood’s patriarchal-inspired and gender-stereotyped portrayal of women. Jessica Jones is not only on a mission to rebuild her life as a private investigator dealing with cases surrounding superhuman abilities, personal alcohol dependency, and post-traumatic stress-disorder, but on a mission to defy Hollywood’s small box of what it “means to be a woman”. Jessica Jones is Netflix and Marvel’s first title female and she is doing a kickass job being a feminist critique of Hollywood.
1. She is not weak
Hollywood and Marvel often portray women as weak love-interests who need to be saved from peril by their stronger, smarter, protagonistic superiors – men. Spiderman saves Mary Jane and defeats Otto Octavius. Superman saves Lois Lane and defeats Lex Luther. Iron Man saves Pepper Pots and defeats Obadiah. Same storyline, different characters.
On the contrary, not only does Jessica Jones refuse to let anyone save her, but she is determined to do the opposite – save others. Not to mention she can lift cars, break walls, and beat up evil men with her own two hands. She can climb builds and jump from them. She goes straight into the dark instead of fleeing from it. She is mentally and physically strong, and everything women have not been when Marvel meets Hollywood.
2. She is not dumb
In old Hollywood women were often depicted as intelligent, witty, and clever. In modern Hollywood, they are depicted as dumb and superficial characters that only care about shopping, pedicures, boys and gossip. How did we go from Audrey Hepburn to characters like Rebecca Bloomwood in Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009), Kate King in The Other Woman (2014), and Shelley Darlington in The House Bunny (2008)?
In contrast, Jessica Jones’ cover is a private investigator, and a respectable one to say the least. She can piece together credit cards statements, phone records, spy on targets, and talk her way through any situation to get the information she wants. She is always up for the challenge even when clues are in short supply and danger is a given.
3. She is not hyper-sexualized
Women in Hollywood are synonymous with boobs, butts, and sexualized bodies. Why? Because women and their ASSets are used sell movies, not drive the plot. Women are used as envied property of men, not as strong independent individuals. Women are used to manipulate the male gaze, not manipulate the antagonist. Women are especially hyper-sexualized when they defy femininity stereotypes with strength, power, and aggression, in which their bodies are objectified to keep female gender norms in check.
Quite the opposite, Jessica Jones rocks jeans and a black leather jacket. And her makeup? Smeared at best when she wakes up hung over on the daily. She is not painted to be a sexualized hourglass with big boobs like WonderWoman, Mrs. Smith, or Charlie’s Angels. Jessica Jones is true to her character and does not succumb to a performance of femininity to justify it. She is respected for her strength, resilience, determination, selflessness, and the list goes on, instead of her body.
4. She is not one-dimensional
Women are often sidelined as characters that lack depth, growth, and influence. They are defined by whose mother, girlfriend, or wife they are, and not their job, power, or intellect. Women in Hollywood are basically told to sit still and look pretty.
Jessica Jones’ character is anything but that. She is not afraid to be wrong, learn from it, and conquer. She is dynamic and determined take down Kilgrave before he takes control of her mind or victimizes anyone else. She never answers to any man or cares about her appearance – she cares about things that matter. She is the protagonist and drives the plot without taking her pants off to stir the plot.
5. She is not boy-obsessed
Disney has taught us since day-1, that girls are suppose to grow up, fall in love, marry Prince Charming, and live happily ever after. Hollywood is not that different. When women have major roles in movies the plot is, more often than not, a romance. A woman protagonist is broken until she falls in love and wins the ultimate prize – a hunky man. A career-driven Margaret is broken until her frozen heart is melted by the dreamy Ryan Reynolds (The Proposal 2009). The only power strong enough for Allie to defy her parent’s wishes is her love for Noah (The Notebook 2004), the holiday season is lonely, miserable, and incomplete without a man to share it with (The Holiday 2006), and women are so desperate that all they want is for men to be that “into them”, so they chase men until they find love (He’s Just Not That Into You 2009).
Hollywood needs more Jessica Jones to save it from the tired Rom-Com storyline. Jessica Jones is not searching for love, nor does her character seem incomplete without a man to please or a man to lust for her. She’s the power figure and she has more important matters to worry about than a prom date.
And she is definitely not reinforcing Hollywood’s patriarchal-inspired and gender-stereotyped portrayal of women
Jessica Jones is everything a woman can be, but everything “a she” in Hollywood is not. Jessica Jones is a superhero for feminism, because she defies gender stereotypes of weak, dumb, hyper-sexualized, one-dimesional, and boy-obsessed women. Hollywood needs more Jessica Jones to fight for a Hollywood with better female representation, equality, and power.

#Superman and wonderwoman have not pieces it together #John was forced to come #he didn't want to show up #the ghost give him a hard time about his soul #danny is confused #one second he's dealing with the Giw #the next there being arrested #he's not complaining about that #but he really doesn't want to be adopted # John could feel the portal when he showed up and tried to nope it out of amity #Danny is avoiding the man with a splintered soul #he doesn't know why but he has bad vibes #jazz is happy to assist and gives all her notes to wonderwoman #jazz documented all the ghost and why they do what they do #she is also conflictied about there parents. she knew they were bad #but did they deserve prison #Danny says no.
