Dc x dp idea 17
When the GIW try and get the anti ecto acts passed the justice league is on top of it. They argue that it would go against the meta human acts.
Giw are claiming that since there dead they no longer are human and they are non sentient to get it through. This leads to an investigation on the ghost to prove otherwise.
John, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman are all off to go investigate amity. They are going to prove they aren’t non sentient and shouldn’t be excluded from protections.
The four did not expect the chaos that is amity. daily ghost attacks, a child hero, the GIW already shooting first even before the bill is pass and then the Fenton parents. Mad scientist bent on dissection.
John is fed up at the residents of the infinite realm. They just keep going invisible or flying off whenever one of them attempt to talk to them.
The only one that is remotely of use is phantom. But Anytime he sits still long enough to talk the GIW of the Fenton parents are actively trying to shoot and capture him.
Now Batman is handling the investigation on the Fenton parents. His suspicions are child neglect and/or abuse. Danny grades slipped hard is constantly away from home the few time he was at home the weapons in the house attacked him.
The turning point is not necessarily hood but does prove they have sentient thought. It’s skulker hunting down Danny not phantom. Skulker likes to make Danny’s life hard and said he was hunting the ghost hunters youngest child.
It proves they have enough sense to target ppl based on others actions. Plus a few others examples such as lunch lady being upset about her lunch menu being changed. As well a 100 page essay Jazz Fenton handed Wonder Woman.
This all ends with the anti ecto laws not passing, Danny and jazz being removed from there parents care, the turning off of the portal and the Fenton parents in jail.

hnnnggggg fine.
okay so first things to cover, non ghost danny he inevitably got dragged into ghost hunting due to his parents and the number of attacks that happen at school. sam, tucker, and eventually valerie would also be dragged in. the entire school is aware that they’re hunters. sam’s parents don’t approve of her doing this. valerie joined after her dad’s work was destroyed by cujo and there was no ghost boy to try and stop him. she’s still on a mission for vengeance but doesn’t have any problems with danny, so she’s a lot closer to the team in general.
i think there was probably a level of secrecy about their ghost hunting at first because they didn’t want to get in trouble but it became pretty apparent that they were good at it. better than danny’s parent or any ghost hunter that gets called in so eventually they’re accepted as they are. given how seasons tend to move, i think it’s around the pariah dark incident that they’ll be revealed and accepted. they and the fenton’s are the main ones keeping them alive after all.
the vlad thing is tricky if danny isn’t a ghost. i feel the urge to have this be a situation where vlad successfully killed jack because danny has no reason to find out the plan and therefore no means to stop it. that would set him down the path towards vengeance too, against specifically the Wisconsin ghost. also would mean vlad is inserting himself into their lives more to flirt with maddie. jack not being there would also mean they won’t have access to the energy draining mech that danny originally used in cannon. the whole situation is a bit of a mess
vengeful danny ends up a lot closer with val, and with a lot fewer ghost allies. i could see that being an ongoing conflict. there’d inevitably be a sort of love triangle between him, val, and sam. and going with val would be symbolic of choosing violence, while choosing sam would be symbolic of choosing peace.
i could also see tucker taking on the role of inventor in jack’s place. an ongoing thing i’ve noticed is that vlad for all his business skills, never contributed to the invention portion of the job. so even if he’s inserting himself into the lab he’s probably more of a nuisance than anything else. tucker taking over because they need weapons just to survive and fight in general feels sweet and sad at the same time. maddie was probably feeling uninspired after his death. probably also going the path of ghost fighting vengeance which is scary. so that basically leave danny and his friends with free range of the lab. they all end up coming with ideas, but danny is the one who comes up with the most creative jack like ones. makes him feel slightly closer to his dad.
i see jazz as struggling. she was initially so against ghosts existing and once they’re revealed as real, she ends up seeing danny go down the same path of vengeance and obsession that got their father killed in the first place. she’s really against danny and his friends being ghost hunters and is trying hard to hold thier family together, because maddie and danny both are on some dark crusade now, and everyone is putting themselves in danger fighting ghosts, and someone needs to pay the bills and makes sure they eat and it’s just really difficult for her. in this case, i say she’d be easily manipulated by vlad. a rich family friend solving their financial issues, who seems grounded in reality in a way neither of her remaining family members are. i see her often siding with him because he seems so reasonable and solution oriented. it’s sad really,
sam is the actual current voice of reason. she’s the one trying to talk to the ghosts and figure out non violent solutions. she is the one keeping their little band in the moral right most of the time. danny is quite willing to listen to her and they make a great team when it comes to heroics. she still has her moments of overzealousness. she was probably was the one that suggested they become ghost ‘hunters’. she’s also the one who’s most willing to listen and study ghost properly. her main conflict is that her parents are totally against her ghost hunting or hanging out with danny. so it’s obviously something she’s even more invested in doing but she has to be pretty secretive about it.
now for the day of reckoning, pariah dark escapes and pulls their town into the ghost zone. they don’t have a mech to fix it. everyone is arguing and trying to figure out how they fix it. team teen ghost getters are revealed as they basically hold off a skeleton army to protect the school. they trying to get the ring and crown but everything is chaos and they have limited supplies. the ghosts that they do know are terrified. they need a solution.
a summoning ritual seems a bit too easy. i was also considering having them make a wish to desiree but she’s probably in hiding and unwiling to turn against the king. so next option, find the infinity map. which means the ghost teen team are going to have to go on an adventure into the ghost zone, probably taking the ring with them to stall for time. they do not have a lot of time to go on this adventure with pariah looming. i could see maddie in specific squaring up with pariah to buy her kids times. which on the one hand could lead to pariah respecting her, but would more likely result in her getting injured and causing vlad to turn on pariah. Danny also wouldn’t handle his mom getting hurt well.
the point is eventually they summon a very confused phantom and enter to that mess. the map lets the immediately return but also letting it get into pariahs hands would be really bad. the phantom they summoned is at this point older and has had his powers develop enough that he possibly doesn’t need the mech to fight pariah but he is obviously quite nervous about this. since i’m clearly weak for au’s i’d also say it’a a king au scenario. though he doesn’t know it yet. so that’s why his powers are so developed. probably have him at 18 at this point? or at least he looks 18.
the fight is chaos. like yes phantom is the main one fighting but danny is mad about his mom getting hurt and they have two powerful artifacts on him. so i kinda want him to get the final blow. effectively making him ghost king in this universe despite being fully human.
in the aftermath, i could phantom giving some pretty serious spoilers, such as calling out vlad. everyone is really grateful to him and might have a party once their town’s returned to their dimension. team teen ghost getters (ttgg) are now the center of attention as town heroes and have to deal with the fame. and their parents knowing...
phantom’s also down to party for a bit but eventually it’s time for him to go home.
the only problem? the map is missing.
so he might be stuck there for a while
and stuck keeping the secret that he’s a halfa and an older alternate universe version of danny. might get a bit complicated. - Hestia
In an alternate universe where Danny never went into the portal, the Fentons eventually figured out that the on switch was on the inside, and managed to get the portal working without anyone dying.
Problem is, amity park is having a much harder and messier time fending off all the ghosts without their undead superhero, but they’ve managed until this point.
It has been months since Pariah Dark awoke, and there is no viable way to stop him in sight, except for one. They have grown desperate, and so they enact a powerful ritual to summon someone who can defeat the ghost king through time and space.
That someone? It’s canon!Danny.
I am releasing this prompt into the wild! May it find a good brain to live in.
High-tier fic idea! I am not ready for another multi-chapter fic, though, which is what this would turn into... The plot bunny ecosystem cannot support another... I am sorry...

In the future, how do you think the trio's personality has changed? Is there a way you wished they could change from cannon but you don't think would actually happen? What about the worst way they could change? The best? I just love talking about characters personality and stuff and I'm intrigued to hear your opinion?
Sorry for putting this off for so long! I wanted to take some time to really think about this.
It really depends on how far in the future we’re talking. Since I don’t know that, I’ll have to be a bit more vague. Hopefully that’s okay.
I think Danny’s probably the most obvious. Over the course of the series, he gains more confidence and self-respect, and after even more time and getting out of high school, I think that would continue. I see Danny as a much more confident, happy person in the future. He’s had more time to adjust to things, likely had more experiences that help him to see himself in a better light (whether it’s the support of his friends and sister or his parents accepting him. One way or another.) I’d also like if he didn’t have to fight ghosts nearly as often. That probably won’t happen in the hands of those who currently own the rights, but I’d like things to mellow out with time and for Danny to be able to pursue his own dreams.
Sam acts really confident and sure of herself, but she’s probably the one of the three who projects a certain image the most. In the future, I’d hope she’d get more comfortable in her own skin. She wouldn’t need to rag on other girls as much. Sure, she’d still get annoyed by certain things, but she’d be a lot wiser, so she could let them roll off her back easier. I don’t think she’d get angry as much as she did as a kid. Her relationship with her parents would be a bit better, though they may never get her. Her style would mellow out a bit more. Overall, she’d just be a much more relaxed person. She could still kick ass, though, and she wouldn’t back down from a fight. She’d just be better about picking her battles. I’d also like to think she can use her words a lot better. She was great at talking herself out of trouble, especially later in the show. She’d need to throw fewer insults and instead use little bluffs and some sly manipulation to get what she needs. I think she’d be the type of person who’d get involved in politics and law a lot. Not as a politician or anything, but because she cares about justice and rights and wants to fight for causes and such.
I think Tucker would probably change the least, because he was the quickest to become comfortable in his own skin. He’d probably grow out of his constant flirting with girls, though, and he’d become a bit more professional with the things he works on and creates. Still a goof, of course, but he’s not as clumsy with his inventions and he knows how to talk to people and get them to listen better. I can see him taking sort of a Fenton route and creating his own brand. He’d just focus more on software and computers than ghost hunting. I can see him developing a ton of programs. Some of them he’d sell, others he’d keep for personal use. He’d probably be out and about less than the other two. Not that he’d become a hermit or anything, but Sam’s trying to better the world and Danny’s got goals he wants to achieve. Tucker’s pretty much got everything he needs at his fingertips. He’d probably mostly work from home and just follow Sam and Danny around to where they needed to go.
Honestly, if the series got a continuation right now, I think the focus would probably be more on the superhero angle, so a lot of this would probably not actually happen, but it’s what makes the most sense to me.
Worst case scenario...well, I think TUE showed us that, but you probably mean aside from TUE. Honestly, I guess it’d just be the kids growing to focus their entire lives around ghost fighting. That would require them to kind of crush who they really are under foot for “the greater good” and forget about their hopes and dreams. They could still do what they’re good at, for the most part, and they could probably convince themselves that they’re content, but years in the future I think they’d really regret not doing what made them happy. Danny, in particular, would eventually become a completely different person. People do change, of course, but I think forcing change for people other than yourself is unhealthy, and I want these kids to be happy.
