prepare your schedule the night before! what classes will you do at what time? what order will you do them in? write it down! set alarms on your phone for when each class will be, so you know when to switch!

don’t forget to prepare worksheets, activities, and make sure you know what rooms you’re using! if you have a cg, this job is best suited for them!

class ideas: math, spelling, writing, social studies/history, science, art, music, etc!

“downtime” class ideas: naptime, free time, movie time, free draw, computer lab, play time

wake up bright and early! get dressed, brush your teeth, brush your hair, and get your school supplies! go into the room that you’ve designated as your classroom!

if you have a cg, have them be your teacher for the day! if you don’t have one, that’s okay! you can do all of this by yourself pretty easily.

if the room has a closet, use that as your cubby! hang up your bag and any other belongings in it!

get ready for your school day! sit down on the floor like you would in a preschool or kindergarten classroom, and get ready to learn!

ideas on what to do for each class under the cut (to avoid this post being way too long!)

math

print out some math worksheets (or download and do them digitally, bonus points if it’s on a tablet with a stylus for extra realism!) and work on them! do whatever level of math is most accessible to you!

count stuff! count your toys, blocks, stuffies, anything! make problems and equations by taking away items, adding items, dividing items, etc and solve them!

play math games! multiplication .com has a lot of accessible math games, or you can use the flashpoint program to play math games from your favorite tv shows!

ELA

print/download handwriting practice sheets and practice writing your letters!

if you have a cg with you, have them read a book out loud to you! make sure to pay attention, and be prepared to write about what was just read to you!

read your favorite book, and create a book report based on it with pictures and decorations!

do spelling worksheets and exercises!

social studies

practice geography by identifying states or countries on an unlabeled map! start with your own country, then move on to other countries to make it more challenging!

learn about history by watching educational history cartoons!

do a cultural interview! find someone in your life whether it be a friend, a partner, or a family member and interview them about their heritage and culture! if you can’t find someone, write about your own culture!

science

use a store bought science kit and play around with it! write down everything you’ve learned.

make slime or oobleck! there’s countless recipes online that teach you how to make them! they’re both super easy to make.

draw a diagram of our solar system! label the planets properly and write one fact about each one!

art

draw your family! could be your biological or found family!

finger paint!

watercolor paint!

make pottery out of clay or play doh!

make a collage of your favorite things! print out pictures of stuff you like and glue it to a piece of paper!

music

sing along to your favorite songs! pull up sing-along versions of songs from disney movies or karaoke versions of your favorite songs!

if you have any kind of instrument, play it! try to play simple songs on it like mary had a little lamb or hot cross buns!

if you’re regressed a bit older, study sheet music! teach yourself what all the symbols mean!

nap time

take a 30 minute break to nap, or just lay down and rest! put on a soft lullaby or a quiet song you really like.

to make it more “school-like”, nap on the floor! preferably on a fluffy rug or mat, so it isn’t uncomfortable or bad for your back! lay out your favorite blanket, pillow, stuffie, and hit the hay!

play time / free time

just play!!! have fun and play with your toys, your stuffies, play dress up, etc!

if it’s nice outside, go play outside!

draw a picture!

read your favorite book!

if you’re an over-achiever, do some more worksheets!

computer lab

go on your computer or laptop if you have one, and play some educational games, watch educational videos, etc!

when you’ve done an adequate amount of learning, you earn free time! use this to play any fun game you want! (minecraft, roblox, animal jam, fun flash games, etc!)

field trips

(may require a cg if you can’t take yourself places when small!)

take a trip to a museum!

go to the library! find a cool book you find interesting and read it!

take a walk around town! write down all the interesting things you find in nature like animals, bugs, plants, etc!

end of the day

when your “school day” ends, have your cg grade how you did! if you don’t have a cg, grade yourself! but be honest, of course. if you get a good grade, you’ll get a reward!

i know this is elaborate and may seem silly, but i’ve heard a lot of littles say an elementary school environment would be really beneficial to them! i hope this helps some of you who are yearning for that!

eddie and steve both being neurodivergent and not really knowing (because it’s the 80s and they weren’t stereotypically presenting) yet somehow managing to accommodate for themselves just by observing and trying to be there for each other.

steve notices that eddie is always searching for something to do with his hands, and seems calmer when he��s moving, so he goes out and buys him everything he can think of: a gumby toy, play-doh, a rubik’s cube. they turn out to be perfect stim toys for eddie, replacing his bad habit of picking at the skin of his hands and pinching himself. and steve gets the bonus of having things to fidget with other than his hair.

eddie notices that steve struggles with sensory issues when it comes to light, so he makes sure none of the big lights are on in the room they’re in, opting for going around to turn on the accent lighting of lamps instead. he gets steve some sunglasses too, but steve gets too nervous about wearing them when it’s not super bright out, so eddie gets himself a pair too so he can wear them in solidarity. he finds that it actually helps him a lot too.

they both enjoy verbal stimming, and sometimes when they’re watching TV together or cuddling on the couch they will just make noises at each other, mirroring them back and forth to their hearts’ content.

next was the Lego McLaren and I get the impression Oscar wasn't super into Lego but Lando was

better, upon Lando revealing that his brother used to break Lando's cars to annoy him, Oscar gets the gremlin gene and threatens to push the car (and Barbie) off the table. Lando ~ "don't break it.."

Lando about play-doh ~ "this used to be gangster back in the day"

Oscar had a great time, Lando struggled. a lot. with getting the play-doh out of the pot and the shape cutter. a lot of shaking

They made Barbie a chair :)

Oscar was seriously unimpressed with both bop-it and Lando's singing along with said bop-it

Spencer Agnew - My Favorite Pizza Oven

Summary: Spencer and Y/N spend a weekend babysitting Courtney and Shayne's son.

AN: Welcome to the first of 9 weeks of ficlets! Come back every Thursday for a little fic of Reader x Smosh! Most are Spencer x Reader but there will be a couple Ian x Reader and Damien x Reader as well!

When Courtney came up to you and asked if you and Spencer could watch her and Shayne’s son for a couple nights so they could go on vacation you immediately said yes. 

“Shouldn’t you check if Spencer is on board?” She asked. 

“Trust me, he’ll be on board,” you replied. You and your boyfriend had watched Ryan for a night a few months ago. Spencer had been asking for weeks when you thought the two of you might be able to babysit again. 

“Thank you so much! I’ll text you with the details.”

“Perfect! I’m looking forward to it!” 

“That’s because he’s always a little angel for Auntie Y/N and Uncle Spencer,” she said. 

“Because we absolutely spoil him and say yes to pretty much whatever he wants,” you replied with a laugh. “It’s our right as aunt and uncle!” You add and she conceded, joining in on your laughter. 

Later that night, when you filled Spencer in on your conversation with Courtney he got super excited and started listing all the activities he was hoping to do throughout the weekend with Ryan.

You just listened and sighed, hoping Spencer would behave and you wouldn’t have to rein in two excitable children. 

A couple days before your babysitting duties were set to begin, you and Spencer made a trip to Target after work to stock up on a few things for your home. You’d split up, wanting to get done quickly since it was getting late.

You always worry a bit about sending Spencer out on his own, never knowing what he’ll return with, and your fears are often valid. This time was no exception.

When you met back up, he was carrying a basket with the items on his list, as well as a Play Doh pizza oven set. 

“Are you thinking of getting into crafting now?” you asked, skeptically eyeing the item.

“It’s for Ryan!” he replied. “Shayne said he’s really into play-doh lately so I thought he might enjoy it. And I figured coming in with a new toy might help him be excited for a weekend with us, rather than sad that his parents are leaving.”

“That’s a really good idea,” you replied. You gave Spencer a fond look, as you’re reminded once again how thoughtful this man is. Even after years together you continue to fall more in love with him. Even while standing in the middle of a Target on a Wednesday night.

Two days later you arrived at Shayne and Courtney’s home with your overnight bags, prepared for a weekend of babysitting. Courtney went over all the instructions again, and finally you sent the two on their way to enjoy some time alone. 

As predicted, Ryan was a bit upset seeing his mom and dad leave, but Spencer quickly stepped in and showed him the new toy. It worked like a charm, and the two boys made lots of creations together.

Even better was the moment when dinner arrived. After making plenty of pretend pizzas, Ryan was ecstatic to see they’d be eating real pizza for dinner too! 

The weekend went smoothly, and that plastic pizza oven went everywhere Ryan went. Including the playground. He was truly obsessed. 

“I love this pizza oven!” he exclaimed during breakfast Sunday morning. “It’s my favorite!”

You couldn’t help but laugh as he reminded you so much of his dad in that moment. You had come up with a plan, a perfect way for Ryan to greet his parents when they got back home. 

A couple hours later, when Courtney and Shayne walked in the front door, Ryan had run up to them, new toy in hand.

“Hey buddy! I missed you,” Shayne said, hugging his son tight. “What’s that you got there?”

“It’s from Auntie Y/N and Uncle Spencer! It’s my favorite pizza oven!” All the adults began to laugh, as Ryan practically quoted one of his father's most famous lines.

Later that night, when you and Spencer were back home having dinner, you couldn’t help but think back on the weekend, and how wonderful your boyfriend was with the little guy. Your mind imagined what your future will be like, when you and Spencer have a little one of your own. One look at him told you he was thinking the same thing, and you knew you’d picked a good one.

LEON S. KENNEDY

You are right! He is a mama's boy!!

On his first few weeks of daycare, Leon would cry the longest every time he's been dropped off.

Has a hard time adjusting to daycare, but gets used to it after making a few friends (notably chris & luis)!

He is always telling his friends and teachers in daycare about how his mama did this... mama did that... Leon is super proud of her.

Also Leon's the kind of kid who plays with cars, crashes them together and starts clapping (Not much different from the present)

ASHLEY GRAHAM

Teacher's pet just because she's always respectful, and sharing toys with her classmates.

Oftentimes, kids take advantage of that and take her toys.

Because of that, I think she's often neglected by her teachers since the other troublemaker kids need more attention, so to speak.

She would be friends with Claire as Claire would not hesitate to snitch on other kid's bad behaviour to the teacher.

Ashley loves little Sylvanian Families and play-doh - I see this developing into a slime making hobby as an adult!

ETHAN WINTERS

I'm getting the quiet, nerdy kid vibe for Ethan.

Toddler Ethan loves to collect trading cards, he doesn't necessarily know how to play the game, he just likes the glossy look of them.

I feel like he'll have trouble making friends in class because they don't understand what the cards mean to him.

Poor kid just wants someone to talk about Pokemon with.

Gets very excited about dinosaurs and will play the game "Who can name the most dinosaurs?" knowing he'll always win.

ADA WONG

Don't mess with Ada, or she'll have you regret it.

Even as a toddler, she would always get her way. Always be the first on swings.

Ada, even as a kid, enjoys her solitude and hates for that to be broken. She enjoys playing LEGO uninterrupted.

I can see her hating loud kids like Chris (And that's totally not because Chris trampled her LEGO town one time and she'd held that grudge for life)

Younger Ada teaches the other kids bad words, but somehow she is never caught, and never gotten in trouble.

CHRIS REDFIELD

Fat baby (he's just built this way)

'Accidentally' steals Claire's NERF guns, and feigns ignorance when he's confronted.

Big troublemaker at daycare. Teachers are always chasing him down but toddler Chris runs really fast.

100% Captain America enthusiast. He admires the act of serving his country, and that lead him to choose a career in military.

NERFs guns for life - I see him messing around and shooting the dart at other kids (especially Claire, usually to get back at her for snitching on him to mum)

CLAIRE REDFIELD

Younger Claire, who also inherited the Redfield attitude, takes no shit from anyone.

If Chris shoves her, Claire would shove back. And that may have resulted in a lot of sibling fights.

Strong believer of justice - Will pick fights with anyone, even big kids and adults, if she sees injustice.

Brutally honest kid - when someone asks for a compliment, she would say "That shirt makes you look fat" without batting an eye.

Alike Chris, she loves NERF guns (they often like the same guns, so it almost always turns into a brawl at the toy section)

CARLOS OLIVEIRA

Carlos, is the number one reason of all teacher's migraines in his daycare.

He is the class clown, so anything he says gets a reaction from the other kids in class (often disrupting them)

So the moment Carlos speaks (he is still focusing on whatever he's doing), the class erupts in laughter.

Toddler Carlos is the kid who mashes the music button on a toy repeatedly. A cheeky smile on his face, very entertained by it.

Also I see toddler Carlos on the trampoline a lot, often trying to jump as high as he can. Even though he is most definitely too young to be on the trampoline.

🎃What I pack for vacation, little edition🎃

I like going on trips but it also stresses me out due to being autistic so I always take littlespace gear with me both to regress and because they are comfort items and help me regulate

🦝pacis, I always pack a few of the pacis I currently use most in a stable box so they don't break, I usually use a lunchbox for this as they don't take up much space and I have own that fits up to 3 pacis easily🦝

🦇sippy/bottle, I tend to pack one bottle or sippy as more would take up too much space but sometimes I also take two or a cool water bottle in addition to be a sneaky baby on the train🦇

🕷️coloring books, I always bring my tiny space journal with me and usually also another coloring book but usually s thin one as they aren't heavy and take up little space🕷️

🦝coloring supplies, obviously I also need pens and such if I take my coloring books and joirnal, I usually pack my general pencil case plus a set of colored pencils, sometimes I even take stickers🦝

🦇plushies, I cannot travel anywhere without at least one of my babies, depending on how long I am gone I take my comfort plush Benjamin or someone else because I am very scared of loosing Benji, often I also take more🦇

🕷️my switch, I like to take my switch along both to play games on the train ride and to entertain myself hen we are there because I can't pack my most of my toys🕷️

🦝toys, while there isn't space for many toys I like to bring along a few small things like a can of Play-Doh, a doll, a rattle or a puzzle, they don't take up a lot of space and are super fun to play when I'm little with🦝

🦇baby clothes, I like to pack atleast one of my onesies or other clothes I like when I'm little, especially if they are discreet because that way I can be itty bitty without stressing about it🦇

🕷️cute accessories, I love wearing bows, bracelets and other cute jewelry when I'm regressed so I always take some along when I go anywhere so if I'm feeling small I have a comforting thing super fast🕷️

🦝paci clips, I love paci clips so I always take at least one with me, that way I can color and play without having to worry about losing my paci in the bed🦝

🦇diapies/pull ups, I don't always take these but when I know I might be getting my period soon or I like wearing them more often at that time I do, just remember to bring trash bags if you plan on using for potty stuff them so it doesn't smell🦇

🕷️food, sometimes I like to take some snacks for little me because I can be very pick when I'm little and that way I know there will be stuff I like to eat, this is especially helpful for the train rides🕷️

Glad you asked this when I was in the mood to organize my stuff! Here are some suggestions I have after careful listening as I used them!

Good fidget/stim toys for school:

1. Sugar balls

There are big, small, and average types of sugar balls. Basically, they're balls filled with clear glue/thick gel and when squished they rise slowly. Also, they're usually soft when squished slowly, and resistant when squished hard. (Definitely the case with nee doh nice cubes and gumdrops. Regular sugar balls are easier to squish in general, in my opinion.)

There can be sounds when your fingers stick to them slightly and are pulled away (honestly not noticable with the slightest background noise so not a big deal probably), but if you put one in your pocket, not only is it hidden, but it's still the same level of satisfying from squishing it!

2: small foam squishies

A classic! Squishies come in all kinds of sizes, including small enough to go on keychains and fit into a pocket with no issue! Super quiet, and if you see them in store, more than likely you can test their firmness and pick which one suits your taste the best!

3: worry stones and the like

A worry stone is basically any object with a smooth surface for sliding your thumb against. For me, a piece of jewelry I found on my grandmas floor has legit no resistance and is super calming to slide my thumb around on. Fidget cubes also have a worry stone side, and sometimes even erasers give the same effect! (To me anyway. Any surface that's calming and small and easy to feel fits, as they show)

OH and fidget cubes have two silent buttons to press, if you enjoy that!

4: silly putty/thinking putty

Depending on how its played with, putty can be super quiet and also not a big distraction as long as there isnt tons of it. (maybe more dull colors are better for class?) But, if you play with it with enough energy to cause bubbles, those bubbles will pop when its pinched or squished in a certain way. A good alternative though: KNEADED ERASERS. They're like putty but a slightly different texture and should be more fine for class.

5: hedge balls

Hedge balls (this one very firm with a good thick, solid center) when squeezed, apply pressure to your skin with their little prickles. This pressure can help people, and I do believe people can also pick at the prickles! They arent for everyone, but who knows? If someone didnt know what they were, maybe they now think they need one!

If you want me to try suggesting more, lemme know! Also, anyone can reblog this with more suggestions as well! Helping people with class stims seems IMPORTANT!!

Small enough for most pockets, and moving the marble back and forth makes no noise!

Mao would get Rumi super soft (and albeit large) clothing — jumpers, jackets, onesies, you name it he buys it for them! Along with any Play-Doh collections to help with their sensory issues and because fidget toys do not help them one bit (why are some so clicky and loud or made of metal... yick!)

Rumi would get Mao merch from his favourite show series, manga's that he's been wanting to read for a while but hasn't bought, and perhaps if they had enough time throughout the days, they'll gift Mao a drawing they did of/for him!

essentially the play-doh original company was about to go under, but wallpaper cleaner was super needed bc people were still using coal all the time, which covered anything in soot. plus the wallpaper was made with smthn different back then so it was hard to clean

but THEN people started using oil and gas instead of coal to heat their houses. so they were having a rough time bc their product was now useless

some family member of the boss of play-doh wanted a cheap way to make christmas ornaments and heard wallpaper cleaner would work, so they asked the boss for some. they added some scents and removed the detergent and handed it over. apparently the family member’s kids had a blast playing with it so the family member suggested selling play-doh as a kids toy instead

BOOK ONE: The 'Fools Fall in Love' Trilogy

The second day of the school year wasn't any better and I was already called into Mrs. Adams' room first thing in the morning.

Mrs. Adams was our school's social worker.

She had some degree in psychology or some shit like that.

She spoke to certain students regularly 'the ones who struggle emotionally or with school in general'.

Sometimes she spoke to random students who were having a bad day and needed to talk to someone.

For me, I was a regular of hers.

I had yelled at my teacher my freshman year, shouting something angsty like...

"Who fucking cares? I'm probably gonna' off myself soon, anyway."

Ever since then, I've had scheduled appointments with Mrs. Adams.

I wasn't actually going to kill myself, my teacher was being dramatic but, I suppose it did have its perks, I had an 'anytime pass'.

That meant, whenever I started getting pissed off in class, I could use that pass to see Mrs. Adams.

I didn't use it often, though because Mrs. Adams was a chatter box that sometimes annoyed me more.

I walked into her office, already annoyed knowing I have to sit through her cheery attitude.

In her office, there's a tan, wooden desk that stood against the wall to the left of the door.

Her desk was neat, too neat, like she has OCD or something.

'I wouldn't be surprised,' I thought.

Opposite from her desk was a bookshelf with different stress reliever things like Play-Doh, coloring books, stress balls and twisty things that keep your mind preoccupied.

To the right of the doorway was a plain black chair which is where I sat, with a sigh escaping me.

A nightstand was situated next to my chair that held a mini sandbox which contained mini rakes and mini shovels.

"You really needed to see me? It's only the second day," I said in an irritated tone that I normally used with her.

"Of course I needed to see you. I have to know about my favorite student's summer."

I roll my eyes at her.

'She's used to my attitude. it doesn't phase her.'

"My summer was fine. Can I go?"

"Not yet. Let's talk about your plan for this year."

She folded her left leg over her right.

"Ugh," I groaned, slumping lower in the chair and started to shuffle the sand around with the mini rake.

"Noah, this is your last year, let's finish strong," she said with excitement, her fist shooting in the air and everything.

"You mean straight C's?" I question sarcastically.

"We both know you can do better than that but C's are still passing grades. So let's shoot for A's but have our goal be not letting your grades slip lower than a C. How does that sound?"

"Super," my tone was dry.

"Awesome and I made you a new pass," she told me as she shifts though some papers on her desk.

I set down the toy rake as Mrs. Adams pulls out a small, pink and laminated piece of paper.

She holds it out to me.

I grab it and shove it in my book bag before standing up.

"Thanks."

She nods.

"Anything you want to talk about before you go?"

"Not really," I reply over my shoulder, as I make my way to her door and out of her office.

My usual group, as the norm, hang out at Emily's house after school.

Apparently, our group has expanded by two.

Walking into Emily's home, the last person I wanted to see was sitting on the couch, chatting it up with my friends.

I didn't know what it was that bothered me about Sam.

I wasn't even mad anymore about the coffee spill, yet just his presence got me riled up.

"Hey," I greeted all of them, Carter, Emily, Jason, Sam and Haven.

Emily's parents are rarely home, so if we hang out anywhere, it's at Emily's.

"Where's Kaitlyn?" I asked as she is usually here before me.

Emily and Kaitlyn live a street down from each other.

"She's your girlfriend, man," Carter pointed out and I sighed

"I'll be right back."

Before I leave, I catch my best friend, Jason's eye.

I hold up one hand with my fingers out to signify five, so he'll know in five minutes to come follow me.

He nodded.

No one else caught that reference as they were all immersed in conversation already except for Sam.

He had an eyebrow raised in question but I turned around and walked to the back door that led to Emily's yard.

Outside, I rang Kaitlyn.

"Hey baby," she answered with a cheerful tone.

"Where are you?" I asked, already feeling annoyed and it was seeping through my voice.

"Oh, shit, you guys are all at Emily's, right?" she stated, dejected.

"Yeah, so where are you?"

"I'm hanging out with some girls from volleyball."

Kaitlyn is the Captain of the volleyball team and their season is coming up.

"Are you not going to come over at all? I haven't seen you all day," I complained.

I knew I couldn't be upset with Kaitlyn, it's not a big deal when she hung out with her friends but I was already pissed off that day.

"I know, baby but you can come over to my place, tomorrow night."

"Fine. Whatever," I tried not to project my anger onto her.

I just needed to chill out.

I didn't even know why I was irritated.

"Have a good time."

"I love you."

"I love you too," I replied and then hung up.

Jason came out through the sliding, glass door at the exact moment of ending my call to Kaitlyn.

"Trouble in paradise?" he questioned with a teasing smirk.

I scoffed.

"Piss off," I bite back at him and he laughed while following me to the back of Emily's father's work shed.

"Man, I totally got ripped off," Jason claims as he pulled out a quaint wooden box that held his ground up weed and an aluminum one-hitter.

He took out the one-hitter and while packing it, he explained why he got ripped off.

"The shit-head made me pay sixty bucks for five grams."

"Well, your dealer is a fourteen year old," I pointed out.

"Hey, he's fifteen and I'm pretty sure Reggie's dad is the actual dealer," Jason said before putting the non-packed end of the one-hitter between his lips. I pulled out my lighter and handed it to him.

He lit the hitter, inhaled, held, swallowed, then blew out the smoke.

"They're both cheap assholes," Jason said then took another hit.

"With weed legal now, dealers are probably raising their prices but just cheaper than dispensaries so their 'clientele' will stay with them," I assumed.

Jason used to get five grams for forty-five dollars from Reggie.

Not anymore.

I took the one-hitter from Jason once he was done and re-packed it for me.

I brought it to my mouth and inhaled just as Jason did.

Held, swallowed, exhaled.

"Haven Moretti is pretty hot," Jason commented and I justt shrugged.

"I bet I can get with her."

I rolled my eyes at him.

"You're an asshole. Aren't you and Emily together?"

He grinned.

"We're just fucking but really only at parties. So Haven's an option."

"Well, I'm sure Carter will get to her first."

"Or Carter will get to Sam first," Jason jested.

I paused as Jason chuckled.

I thought about that... Carter and Sam... nah, Sam was too innocent for Carter.

That definitely wouldn't happen.

I shook my head at the thought.

"You're seriously the worst," I said before taking another hit but as I was breathing in the intoxicating smoke, Sam came around the the back of the shed.

Immediately, I started coughing and turned around quickly, swiping away the smoke I exhaled.

"Sam," Jason shouted with excitement.

"What are you guys doing?" Sam asked.

"Just... indulging," Jason gleamed and I faced them again to see Jason pull out a baggie with the stash that hadn't been ground up yet.

"Care to join?"

He wiggled his eyebrows.

I snatched the baggie out of Jason's hands.

"No," I said with bitter laced in the word.

"And don't fucking tell Kaitlyn about this," I threatened Sam.

Sam raised his hand in surrender.

"Noted."

"Oh come on, Noah. He can smoke with us," Jason insisted, throwing an arm around Sam.

Jason did that earlier that day too.

"Oh, no," Sam dismissed quickly, almost panicky.

"I don't... that's not... I mean... I'm only seventeen. I was just seeing what you guys were up to."

I rolled my eyes and Jason laughed again.

He finds everything to be satire.

"What up with you? Do you have a speech impediment?"

"Ahahahah," Sam laughed.

'That was his nervous laugh. He did that a lot.'

"I'm... I'm gonna head back inside."

"Suit yourself," Jason said and took the hitter from me.

I watched Sam walk back towards the house, wondering what he thought about me now.
