Hinny Sunlit Days: HBP missing scene
In the days following the now-famous Common Room kiss, Harry spent every spare moment with Ginny, but with exams nearing, most days were spent studying on the grounds with her and Luna. Luna was making a flower crown, and Neville had joined them in the shade.
Ginny was studying for Ancient Runes while Harry was studying the way her hair shined in the sunlight and how it fell down her shoulder, happy to be near her openly.
Ginny looked up from her textbook at Neville.
“You know, Nev, you might be less distracted if you talked to Hannah instead of just staring.”
“I don’t know what you’re on about,” Neville retorted. “I’m just looking at my Charms work.”
“Your book is upside down.”
Neville started to turn it before realizing she’d been kidding.
“Just go ask her out. What’s the worst that could happen?”
“She could say no and laugh at me. Who wouldn’t?”
“I didn’t,” Ginny said.
Harry stiffened. When had Neville and Ginny gone out?
“You only went to the ball with me as friends and because you wouldn’t have been able to go otherwise,” Neville said. Harry relaxed, realizing that’s what she meant.
“That’s not true. I was asked by someone else and turned them down.”
Neville looked surprised. “I didn’t know that.”
“You’re smart, funny, and kind. We had a great time, and now you’re one of my best mates. And you are brave, you’ve faced death eaters, you can ask out a girl. Now go talk to Hannah.”
Neville nodded, stood up, and walked across the courtyard.
Harry kissed Ginny’s shoulder. “You never said someone else had asked you,” he said, trying to sound teasing.
She blushed slightly. “I was holding out hope that this boy I fancied would ask, but I heard he asked another girl, so I moved on.” Her ears turned pink.
Harry slid his arms around her and whispered, “I was an idiot. I should’ve asked you.”
“What makes you think it was you I was hoping for?” She smirked.
Harry rolled his eyes.
Ginny leaned into him“It’s good you didn’t ask me. I prefer to be able to talk with the people I’m with.”
Harry kissed her cheek. “So, who was this other bloke?”
“I’m not telling,” she said, pulling back her textbook.
“Was it Zacharias?” Luna asked dreamily.
Harry jumped, having forgotten Luna was with them.
Ginny’s gaze shot over to her. “How did you know?”
“Smith?!?” Harry said indignantly.
Luna continued braiding. “I thought his rejection might explain why he doesn’t like you much, but still pesters you all the time. You’re likable, so there must have been a reason.”
Luna handed Ginny the flower crown.
Ginny beamed and put it on. “Thank you, Luna!”
Luna smiled. “Oh, look, it seems to have gone well with Hannah.” Neville was now sitting with Hannah, both smiling widely.
Harry leaned over, kissed Ginny’s cheek again, and whispered, “Luna is right; you are very likable.”

I mean I can't think of a bigger celebrity than Miss Piggy she's an icon. For this piece I worked off a picture and did my best to bring it over, I feel I should've gone more pixel art and less picture for the piece and the eyes aren't ideal but I did my best for this queen. Also I got feedback to make it much better.

Sunlit days at Hogwarts
Tumblr media
Partly inspired by this moving choral piece, A Boy and a Girl, by Eric Whitacre.
Lyrics:
Stretched out on the grass,
A boy and a girl.
Savoring their oranges,
Giving their kisses like waves exchanging foam.
Stretched out on the beach,
A boy and a girl.
Savoring their limes,
Giving their kisses like clouds exchanging foam.
Stretched out underground,
A boy and a girl.
Saying nothing, never kissing,
Giving silence for silence.

I can't believe I decided to read orv on a whim because I just wanted a good manhwa with no romance subplot and here I am knees deep into the novel questioning my whole life because whatever these mfs have got going on is much more nastier and visceral than any romance.

Silly idea me and my friend had with sagau, sahsrau and possibly sawuwaau(??)
But like, what if, due to your consciousness essentially merging/being connected to the MC more, sometimes stuff gets a lil funky and you start seeing things you shouldn't
Like yk, ghosts 😇🙏
I recommend strapping in because these are gonna be three flash fictions into one + having lots of talking lol
(more utc‼️)
For example, in a fic style:
"Hey, are you gonna eat your food, Traveler?" Paimon asked, looking worriedly at the distracted visage of her friend. "Something on your mind? You can always tell Paimon what's on your mind!"
They shook their head, eyes looking at the person who stared at them and their companion. Eyes unblinking, appearance overall disheveled and aged.
"That guy's been staring at us the whole time we've been eating," they replied, eyes switching over to Paimon in a barely contained distressed fashion. "It's almost worrying me."
"What guy?"
Paimon silently asked again, "What?" when her friend looked at her so incredulously.
"You don't see him?" they asked again, now worried beyond belief. The last time Paimon saw them like this was when they fought Arlecchino.
"Traveler, I think that's a ghost we're both seeing," the voice inside his mind pointed out, trying to calm their mental state. Right, they forgot the Creator was a part of their mind now.
And as the voice just predicted, one blink and that figure was gone, the Traveler seeing its shadow scurry into a corner of the restaurant.
The door chime rang out and in a cyan and a blue haired boy entered the restaurant, another blue haired girl following right after. Right, Chongyun, Xingqiu and Xiangling.
The ghost must've scurried off when it sensed Chongyun nearby. Well, at least that put an end to their distress.
——————
LIKE THE AMOUNT OF DISTRESS WHEN THE MCS SEE A GHOST FOR THE FIRST TIME
it'd be so chaotic, especially hsr's mcs bc good god they're already so adhd coded
You could think of them going through it like:
"Woah woah, what's got you all terrified, Trailblazer?" March 7th asked, a worried Dan Heng embracing them when they accidentally bumped into him trying to run away from something.
The Astral Express were quickly informed by them personally that they've been seeing ghosts and all sorts of spiritual apparitions that don't normally appear physically like heliobi, but seemingly living people that were doing normal things or otherwise.
It all started around the time they also figured out that the Creation's consciousness had somehow taken an interest in the Trailblazer, latching onto their body and making the Stellaron inside them a bit restless, unstable.
"It's... I saw Cocolia at the Administrative District," they said, panting from exhaustion. The story sounded so unreal, with how impossible it sounded, but with how broad the Creation works nothing was truly impossible.
"She was looking at Bronya shopping and talking to the people, always un-staring." March patted their back in assurance, joining Dan Heng in sitting them down onto the red couches in the Parlour Car.
"When I came closer to see if she was real, she whipped her head around so fast with the scariest look on her face!—"
"It's okay, Caelus Stelle Trailblazer, she can't reach you here," the choir of voices erupted in their mind, the chirping of birds and clinking machinery in their tone momentarily calming them down by a substantial amount.
"Well, it's a good thing ghosts can't get into the Express because that means she can't hurt you here!" March exclaimed, Dan Heng having to resist rolling his eyes at the obvious but letting her reassure them nonetheless. Dumb, dumber and dumbest— the trio wouldn't be complete with one of them missing.
Then, the cabin's speakers erupted in an all too familiar voice. "Attention, all Astral Express crew members! Dinner is ready, so please hurry over to the kitchen cabin and join me and Welt to eat here!" The Astral Express's Conductor excitedly exclaimed over the mic, never failing to make the three smile from their infectious enthusiasm.
"Well, we were supposed to find you and Himeko for dinner but it looks like Pom Pom beat us to it again," March said, jumping up from her seat with her hands on her hips.
"Last one to reach the kitchen cabin is a rotten egg!"
"Hey, no fair, you got a head start!"
Dan Heng sighed at the two's shenanigans yet again, slowly getting up from his own seat as the two raced over to the cabin. That Aeon truly knew how to control and manipulate the emotions of a being to THEIR liking, and he even felt it wash over him earlier.
He'll need to observe it more before adding another entry into THEIR dedicated part of the Archives.

This one was a little confusing to make into a scenario but it's what my eepy mind came up with on the spot :p
Now for our dearest Rover, it's a bit difficult to make it make sense, yk? Mostly because Tacet Discords shapeshifting into people is canon (if people actually paid attention to the lore), much less actually fitting the lore of this seemingly interplanetary eldritch being into the world of Wuthering Waves in the first place lmao
Maybe we could be the galaxy eye we see in the first cutscene, as well as the one when Abby (the lil echo that appeared after the Dreamless fight) and Rover being together
But this is all me yapping about a whole other subject— related, but not the one we're diving into right now
Getting back into the subject though, this is how i think it'd go:
It was another bright, sunny day at Panhua's Restaurant, the scent of delicious food wafting through the air as always. Rover, Yangyang, Chixia and Jiyan all sat around a table, with Abby floating around all plump and full.
"Say, Rover, didn't you say you had something to say for us today?" Chixia inquired, stacking and overall making the empty dishes look cleaner and neater.
"Yeah, just a strange sighting I saw near Desorock Highlands," they replied, putting a deft hand on their chin as if to think back on the memory.
"Me, Jiyan and The Black Sun were conversing like usual when we came across groups of people near the Tacet Field where the Thundering Memphis usually dwelled," Rover recounted, unconsciously pulling the leash that was attached to Abby's collar closer. "Some were laughing with eachother, acting as if most groups weren't crying out in agony."
"Aren't those just Tacet Discords that have absorbed lots of human frequencies?"
"No, there was something more... alive to them, besides the fact that the General himself couldn't see them," they replied to Yangyang, letting the leash go as Abby went back in their Tacet Mark with one last burp.
"Even when I went closer to them, they didn't attack me, more or less ignoring me entirely."
"Wait, who's this 'The Black Sun' you're talking about Rover? Is there another echo inside of you?" Chixia jumped up to ask, startling both Jiyan and Rover.
"The Black Sun is what you may have seen when you first found Rover and ventured back to Jinzhou, just as I did so as well," the General explained, waving over to Rover's direction in an attempt to explain this name to both ladies. Yangyang nodded and Chixia let out an "Oh," in understanding.
"I will admit, seeing them not react to us at all looked a lil' unnerving," the voice inside their mind stated in a breathy voice, unclear like a cloud of smoke.
Though the voice had no body and claimed that they weren't an echo like Abby, only really being able to be heard clearly when they're dreaming, it often provided support whenever it could— unlike a certain someone.
"I've already sent the proper human resources over to investigate the matter, the only thing left to do is to wait for results," Jiyan said, already standing up when he saw the bill arriving.
The three simply nodded in thanks to the General, knowing full well he'd insist on it till his last breath. And when he came back to the table the subject had already changed into another, more or less silly one.
Well, at least everyone was enjoying themselves.
———————
I didn't have much for the last part like i said, and it's more filled with dialogue, but it's better than nothing
Please do tell me if I missed anything or said something totally wrong!!
Now, is this an excuse to push my sahsrau fic more? ... mmmmaayyybbeee 😇

Cosmere-themed Inktober Day 9 & 10 - Sun & Nomad
Another Cosmere-themed Inktober entry. This time we have Nomad from The Sunlit Man! Perfect for the prompts. Aux is there-- you just can't see him lol. Ifykyk~ Also I have been made aware that there is an actual, separate, "Cosmere Inktober" prompt but I like the idea of infusing the normal Inktober prompt with Cosmere so I'll keep doing that. Anyway, um, likes and reblogs are appreciated!

Americano
In which Soren makes Corvus stay Read (in full!) on ao3!
AMERICANO
/ˌmerəˈkänō/ (n.)
A drink of espresso diluted with hot water. Most commonly served with three shots of espresso.
——————————————————————
“I swear every time you come here, your caffeine intake doubles.” Soren stared at Corvus from across the counter. He was wearing a dark green beanie this time, matching his work apron. “If you keep doing this, I’m going to have to ask you to sign a waiver.”
“Music Theory finals are nothing to sneeze at,” Corvus said. “And four shots is the minimum I'm willing to put up with at the moment.”
Soren put the cup down in front of him. The quad wasn’t in a to-go cup. It was in a dark blue ceramic mug instead.
“...Why is it in a mug?”
“Because I don’t feel like torturing Opeli by sending you back to your dorm while high on 300 milligrams of caffeine,” Soren answered. “You can study here.”
“I was headed to the library.” Corvus corrected.
“Then I’m saving several other students. You have seven empty tables to choose from.” He gestured to the empty cafe. “I’ll get you a sandwich.”
He raised his eyebrows. “You guys do sandwiches?”
“During midterms we do. Wheat or Rye?”
“Surprise me.” He sipped his espresso, sitting at one of the tables and pulling his laptop out. He had kept his notes all digitized for convenience, along with recordings of the lectures. He plugged his earbuds into his laptop and put them in.
A couple of minutes later he felt a small nudge to his arm. He pulled one of his earbuds out and looked over.
Soren put a plate down next to his laptop. “Roast beef on rye.” He paused. “I probably should have asked if you were vegetarian.”
“Lucky for you, I’m not.” Corvus gave him a small grin.
“I think that is the first time I’ve seen you genuinely smile.” Soren nudged his arm again, pulling out a chair and sitting down at the table next to him.
“Don’t you have work?” He raised an eyebrow.
Soren gestured to the empty cafe. “I think all the customers in this very busy cafe can wait for a bit.”
Corvus pulled out his other earbud, the cord resting in his lap. “What are you doing then?”
“Monitoring your caffeine intake.” Soren grinned. “Don’t want you overdosing on me.”
“Then I’ll make sure not to tell you about that time I shotgunned 7 shots of espresso in high school.”
Soren let out a dramatic gasp. “You didn’t.”
He nodded, sipping his coffee. “I passed out for 12 hours after midterms and have no clue what happened.”
“Well, I hope you don’t plan on doing it aga-” Soren was cut off by the front door flinging open and immediately closing.
Corvus looked over and saw a guy with a blue beanie and a thick red scarf covering most of his face.
“Callum?” Soren stood up, raising his eyebrows.
Callum pulled his scarf down. “Yep.” In one of his hands, was a takeout coffee cup.
He sighed. “Again?”
Callum nodded. “And never again.”
“I’m sorry what?” Corvus looked between the two of them.
Soren sighed. “For the past two months, Callum has been going to Xadia Brews for a lavender latte.”
“...You own a cafe.”
“I know!” Callum pressed the heel of his palm into one of his eyes. “I know, I know.”
“I’m guessing you got caught?”Soren guessed.
He nodded.
“And you’re not going back?”
He nodded again, sipping his drink. “But their lavender lattes are so good!”
“And spying on Rayla?”
“Ye- wait no-”
Corvus covered his snort with a series of coughs before taking a sip from his espresso. “Young love.”
“Amirite?” Soren bumped his shoulder with the back of his hand lightly. Corvus had started to notice that Soren was quite a tactile person, usually tapping his hand against the counter, the espresso machine, the stack of cups, and sometimes Corvus.
“You both are horrible.” Callum wrinkled his nose, sipping his latte. “And I don’t even know who you are.” His gaze shifted to Corvus.
“This is my bud Corvus.” Soren patted his shoulder again. “He’s studying for finals.”
“Trying to.” He corrected. “Because Soren won't let me leave.”
“You ordered a quad, you brought it upon yourself.”
“Mhm.” He looked back at his laptop, sipping his coffee. He could feel Soren’s hand resting on the back of the chair, leaning part of his weight onto it.
Callum looked between the two of them a few times. “I’m just- yeah I’m going to finish this in the back.” He ducked behind the counter and slipped into the back room.
“So… who’s in the betting pool?” Corvus asked after Callum had left.
Soren slid back into his chair. “Let’s see… Me, obviously. My sister Claudia, Terry, Amaya and her girlfriend Janai, Ezran, Gren, and a few of the guys from Xadia according to Janai.”
“You know Amaya?” Corvus raised an eyebrow.
“You know Amaya?”
“She’s the fencing coach.” He shrugged. “Plus she helps Opeli with things.”
“..Yeah that checks out.”
——————————————————————
Two hours later, Corvus got up from the table and walked to the counter. Soren had left to get back to work about half an hour in, leaving him to finish studying.
But he ran out of coffee.
“I already know what you’re going to ask, and for your health and safety, I’m not getting you another quad.”
“Seriously?” Corvus raised his eyebrows at him.
“Yes. What I will do, though,” Soren took his cup. “Is give you a mini americano.”
“You’re giving me diluted espresso.”
“To prevent your inevitable caffeine overdose? Yes. I think the words you’re looking for are ‘thank you’.”
“When I get back to my dorm I’m using my newly fixed Keurig to have another quad.”
“I think you need your caffeine addiction looked into.” Soren tilted his head at him slightly before handing him his cup back.
“Very funny.” Corvus sipped from the mug.
“I’m serious!” He leaned forward against the counter on his forearms. A bit of his hair flopped into his face, partially covering one of his eyes. “You should look into CAA.”
“What?”
“Caffeine Addicts Anonymous.”
“You made that up.”
“Okay maybe I did but I’m sure something similar exists!” He laughed slightly.
“Well, I need to get back to studying. Thanks for the refill.” Corvus gave him a half smile before going to sit back down at his seat.
A few minutes later, he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. Pulling it out, he saw a text from Soren.
Soren: hey there birdman.
Corvus: You could just turn around and talk to me, you know.
Soren: I could but then Callum would hear me not working.
Corvus: But you aren’t working.
Soren: there’s nothing to do! This place is dead empty besides you.
Corvus: Right.
——————————————————————
Corvus felt a small nudge against his shoulder and pulled his earbuds out, looking up. It had gotten significantly darker since he had started back at studying, the time now being around 7:45 pm.
“Erm, I’m headed out,” Soren said, standing next to him. His apron was gone, and he was wearing a bomber jacket over his sweatshirt.
“How long ago did you close?” He asked, closing his laptop and putting it in his bag.
“...fifteen minutes ago.”
“You could have kicked me out.”
“I didn’t want to bother you!” He stuffed his hands into his pockets. “You looked all studious and stuff. Plus, I had to clean some stuff up.”
“Well, I appreciate it.” Corvus stood, putting his messenger bag on his shoulder. What building are you in?”
“Why, you wanna kill me in my sleep?” Soren raised his eyebrows, grinning.
“You’ve foiled my master plan.” He deadpanned. “I just wanted to see if it was on my way.”
“Building 3.”
“Huh.”
“What?” Soren tilted his head slightly.
“Same here.”
“How convenient.”
Corvus pulled open the door, letting Soren walk out first before following after. Soren locked the door to the coffee shop, and they started to walk down the sidewalk. Flurries of snow fell from the sky and onto the ground, already covered in snow from previous days.
Soren bumped his shoulder with Corvus’. “You’re quiet.”
He shrugged. “Didn’t know what to talk about.”
“...Alright, that’s fair. Keep your secrets.”
After a few minutes, they reached the entrance of the dorm building, and Corvus walked in with Soren through the main entrance.
He never took the main entrance. Not since freshman year.
What the hell is going on?
The stairs were a bit crowded, people coming back from dinner and from their rooms to wherever their destinations were.
After a few flights of stairs, they made it to floor three, which is where Corvus and Opeli’s room was.
“This is my stop.” He said, turning to face Soren fully.
“Thanks for letting me walk with you.” Soren cracked a grin.
“It was nice, walking with someone.” Corvus admitted, adjusting the strap of his messenger bag.
“Well, I’m glad I could be good company.” He nudged his shoulder. “I’ll see you soon.” He grinned. “Hopefully! Not like- not like in a weird way. I hope to see you soon. There we go.” Soren added quickly, and Corvus laughed slightly.
“I hope I’ll see you soon as well.”
Corvus and Opeli’s room was the first door on the right from the stairs, so while sparing another glance at Soren, Corvus opened the door and stepped inside.
Opeli was staring at the ceiling from her bed, seemingly zoned out at the ceiling.
“...Opeli?”
“What.”
“Are you okay?”
“No.”
“Alright then.” Corvus draped his coat and messenger bag on the back of his desk chair.
“I think I flunked my final.” She groaned.
“I sincerely doubt that.”
“Easy for you to say, you do music theory and jazz studies.”
“As well as music business and applied music. I have to play in a room full of people on friday by myself, Opeli.” He shot her a look from across the room.
“Still.” She dug the heel of her palms into her eyes.
“For what it’s worth, you’re one of the smartest people I know. You probably didn’t fail.”
“I’m going to bed.”
“Probably for the best.”

I am posting very late because I told myself I could play a little spider-man remastered and it'd be fine. I have gotten very little done but I sure did catch a bunch of pigeons. When I thought of eyebrows I thought of two people Groucho Marx and someone special from anime. Reblog tell me if you can figure out who it is.
