I loved your post on splurge essentials- could you give us some examples of a versatile LBD "that works from day to night?" (Especially some non-bodycon options!)

Hi love! Thanks so much. Sharing some examples below (I totally feel you – relying on not being bloated to wear a go-to dress is not worth it most of the time, lol).

Black slip dress (midi or maxi-length, so it doesn't look like lingerie)

Fit & flare dress (otherwise known as an A-line dress that's tight on the chest and flares out at the waist to graze over your stomach, hips, and legs)

Corseted fit and flare dress (same as above but a corset bodice instead of a less-structured top portion)

Smocked bodice black dress

Shirtdress with a ruched waist (also called a tie-front shirtdress for some brands/retailers)

Knit dresses with a structured neckline, tight sleeves, and a slit hemline

Blazer dress

Pleated dress
