Having a positive mindset goes a long way in our world. We can choose to let the hard times defeat us, or we can overcome them and be even stronger. We have to train our brain every day, for years, to have a better mindset. It's easy to let life knock us down and stay there, but it's so much better when we are able to stand up and stay strong. Reality is what you make it, and there's no better reality than the ones we make for ourselves. Opportunities will open to those who knock down doors and make their presence known. Sitting back and giving up when things get tough won't do us any good. Our mental health depends on the moments we make for ourselves in the moment of self-reflection. Gone are the days where we need to accept our fate. We have a choice and we are allowed to make an important one. We are the authors of our lives and we're allowed to write each chapter according to how we live. Our final chapter should be a happy one. Change your mindset without the fear of failure. Give it everything you've got and don't miss a day. Each passing moment is a stepping stone on the path to enlightenment. There's no better way to feel alive than to not have any regrets. Daily planning will get you from the bottom to the top of your mindset. Educate yourself on the things that matter most to your mental health. Never again will you lose yourself in the negative feelings and thoughts you used to have. Live each day as if it was your last. Don't distract yourself from the end result by taking detours. When temptation strikes, ignore them and carry on with your plan. The mindset of a champion is what will save you from the hard times.

Everyone has expensive taste, but not everyone is able to buy everything they want. We must use what we have and make it count. The most important items in life are the ones that will benefit you for years to come. Thinking about the future will help the present. Each day that passes will be a test of your knowledge, wisdom, and self-awareness. It takes a dedicated plan to know how to put your money to good use. Starting right now is a must!

It’s better to buy something that will last you a long time than to keep buying a cheap version every week. Don’t forget to be thankful for everything you have. Not many people are fortunate enough to have a home or food. So, make sure to donate what you have leftover. Make someone else’s day that much better. Even a dollar will go a long way to help feed a family.

Having expensive taste means you know what’s best for you. Buying something that represents who you are is key to happiness. Knowing what expensive tastes you have is a skill that is hard to master. It takes education, planning, and patience. You owe it to yourself to get the best quality you can afford, at a reasonable price. Never settle for the bare minimum when it only makes your situation worse. What you choose to buy will affect your future.

The risk is worth the reward. Look for the loose change under the couch cushion and treat yourself to the finer things in life. It will make your quality of living much easier, and you’ll be thankful that you listened to your heart. Travel across the world and find the most expensive things you can afford. The universe will work its magic and bring you what you deserve. It will be a long journey, but it’s possible if you believe.

Life is a lot like the waves in the ocean

When the waves come crashing, will you be surfing? Life is all about adapting so we can stay on top and not drown. We spend years of our life learning how to surf because it's nice to live wild but stay safe. It's all about hard work and dedication. You always have to prepare for the worst of waves. In life, those obstacles will throw themselves at you. You can either give up or keep your head above water. Studying the art of surfing is something that takes self-disciple and courage. You will fail hundreds of times, but you will learn to adapt to any situation and overcome those challenges. In order to get the most out of surfing, your mind and body must become one. An unprepared person will have a difficult time and will be putting themselves at risk. Never put yourself at risk by not gathering the knowledge you need to succeed. Nature is a beautiful thing that most people don't take the time to appreciate, but nature can also be cruel. Preparing for any situation will help you so much more. This is why people study their craft. They become one with the waves and their surfboard. They don't just hop on a piece of cardboard and jump into Praia do Norte, hoping for the best. They learn the proper equipment, techniques, etc. The bigger the wave, the bigger the challenge. This is symbolic of life. Don't let the bigger challenges in life scare you away. Prepare for the road ahead as much as you can. It will make the bigger challenges seem much smaller. It's not a guarantee you'll be the best, but it will keep you much safer than if you were to go in blindly. Protect yourself by learning how to surf through any wave that comes at you. This is the only way to be the best version of yourself.

Just Don't Quit - Just Do It

When things get tough, don't quit. Life will always try to break you down, but you have to try and stay strong. Self-awareness is knowing what your limits are without putting too much pressure on yourself. It's okay to give it your all without burning yourself out. There's never a reason to justify quitting when you could accomplish more by trying everything you can to succeed. How will you get that job promotion if you quit? Exactly.

We learn by doing things repeatedly and understanding what we could do better. We'll never learn if we quit right away. We spend our entire lives chasing our dream jobs. Only a smaller portion of those people even try to achieve their goals. Fear is the first thing stopping us from doing what we truly want. We're afraid people will judge us because of failure. Don't let fear stop you from drowning out the negative voices around you.

Believing in yourself is first step to achieving happiness and manifesting your mental health. As long as we believe in ourselves, the battle is already half won. If you wish to do something, just do it. An idea will eventually turn into a powerful asset, as long as the ambition is there. The beautiful thing about life is there are an infinite number of possibilities. You don't just have a single option. If you want something, you just have to work for it.

When you reach the final destination, you'll be thankful you took the time to keep on pushing through the obstacles that blocked your way. It's so much easier when you learn from past mistakes and use them to make you stronger. By not quitting, you've already put yourself miles ahead of the race. You can look back and appreciate the road that took you there. Without regretting any decision you made along the way.

Truthfully, being able to live out our dreams is the key to success when it comes to our own mental health. You’ll never be more happy than when you know you’re living your best life.

Our own biggest mistake is when we let the voice in our head tell us that we’re not good enough. In failure we will succeed. You can’t achieve your dream if you never even try, which is why we always need to keep working harder to make those dreams a reality.

“Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.” Something Buddha once said, that when you really think about it, is the complicated yet simple answer in the grand scheme of life. People think of their dreams simply in the future, rather than right now.

What are you doing NOW to make your dreams happen?

Wake up and go to bed with a smile on your face. A smile from knowing that your dreams were always worth it. Age is just a measurement of time. As long as we draw breath from our lungs, and our hearts are still beating, it’s never too late to make something happen today.

Don’t settle for anything less than you deserve. Nobody is perfect on their first day to a job. We learn and grow, as humans.

Dreams are like that husband or wife who will never leave your side, even in the most troubling times. Hold on to them for dear life because they’re with you for a very long time.
