Hi there! :) You have a very organised and helpful blog. I heard that programmers who have an active blog or YouTube channel or a similar thing have some advantage in job searching when they put the link to it on their resume/CV, that employers like to see that kind of stuff. Would you show your blog on a job application or interview, or if you have, how did it go? Do you think a developer in the beginning of their career could benefit from sharing their Studyblr blog with potential employers?

That is a really good question! I do have my blog attached to my LinkedIn profile and I do use that everywhere including my GitHub and Replit account where it asks to 'attach a website' to my profile, I add this blog. However I haven't added it to my CV/resume - the reason for that is that I want to create a portfolio page where I can direct future employers to that page to view my projects. I have in the past shown people my GitHub for my projects but not my blog in particular!

Personally in the past when I was job searching, I didn't add my blog on my CV because I also wasn't too confident with my blog so I just added my GitHub and my LinkedIn.

Definietly in the future when I start job searching when I move to Canada, I will add my blog, portfolio, GitHub and my linkedIn to my CV and social media presence!

Sharing your Studyblr blog with potential employers can certainly be a great way to showcase your passion for learning and your interest in programming. As a beginning developer, you may not have much experience to showcase on your resume or portfolio, so a Studyblr blog can be a valuable tool to demonstrate your knowledge, skills, and dedication to the craft by sharing your coding journey. I see people on Twitter do that all the time and that's how they get recognised. I had a mate actually got an interview and the job offer because a recruiter noticed his tweets on Twitter. Tumblr isn't too well know like how Twitter is to recruiters but it's worth a try!

However, before sharing your blog with potential employers, it's important to make sure that the content is relevant, professional, and appropriate for a professional setting. Avoid sharing personal information or irrelevant topics, and focus on sharing technical content, tutorials, projects, and insights that are related to your career in software development.

You can create a coding blog solely for sharing your coding progress. I did this, I have a coding blog and a personal one. I hardly reblog posts on my coding blog (if its not relvant to coding/programming) so it's all focused on me coding and sharing projects etc. I do all the reblogging and liking irrelevant posts and creating random posts on my personal blog (@xiabablog)!

Hey y'all! I'm back to my routine again! It was surprisingly easy, even after some days of resting and relaxing. Let's get to it, shall we!

Number 1: Study like Wade Watts

I managed some 2 hours more of studying! Now I'm at 22/184 days of studying, which is 11.95% of my goal.

Let me tell you, studying Portuguese is boring as fuck. I can't wait to finish this module!

Number 2: Fight like a Bene Gesserit

Today I rucked for 30 minutes carrying 8kg. Made it up to 2.12km! I think I'm ready to try a heavier weight on Wednesday.

I also stretched my upper body.

Number 3: The NOBA Project

I'm still reading "Bad News" from Rob Brotherton, and it's kinda grating at me how the author keeps insisting none of our problems with the news are that impressive, and nothing is really new.

I mean, I'm sure there are similarities, but I must say that deepfakes can be a problem, come on. "Nobody really was that affected by photoshop", really? It has given us body issues for ages, at least.

I'm only at the middle, but I'm getting a bit tired. Let's see if it picks up.

Heyy, I’m Vik, a junior in high school trying to be productive and make the post of my time. I’m new to stuyblr and tumblr in general. Currently my only interest is school but in general I also love genshin, kpop(only ggs tho), and project sekai! I’m going to use this blog as my diary and motivation to study so I might go on a bit of unnecessary ramble sometimes.

My motivation today is not the best but often only when I start studying I begin to feel it. 

Today I’m studying the karst morphology, I am trying the pomodoro technique in order to lighten the study load.

But I have to admit that the penguin is helping me. 

Do you have any object given by someone or that you bought yourself that just looking at it gives you a feeling of tranquility? 

Mine is that penguin.

I'm excited to announce that the amazing @vexacarnivorous started a new Discord server for members of the Codeblr community, and the Stuyblr community, on Tumblr!

As a fellow student and coding enthusiast, I know how important it is to have a supportive community that can offer guidance and motivation. The community here are super supportive and caring about each other coding journeys!!
