Bringing it back to the present moment. There are times when I forget that I have c-ptsd (not that I'm becoming a fan of labels) and I feel like a normal human being (whatever that is) and then there are times when I am triggered by something in my present reality and I'm sent into a a period of flashback which can sometimes last for days. #exhausting Today I'm starting to feel a little bit more like me and starting to be able to think clearly. (THANK FUK) In those periods everything is clouded negative and overwhelming, and sometimes it feels like it's going to last forever and that there is no way out. #isolated And then there were moments like today when you meet with a kind friend who shows you compassion, or you sheepishly open up about out some of the ways and which you've been acting up and not serving yourself well #honesty which then allows your eGo to chill and the real you can come to the forefront.🤩 I found this book today and every day I'm going to write things to reflect on, things that I'm proud of, it's a small something that will allow me to keep me living in the present moment. #stuckinthepast I find it really hard not to live in the past especially when things in my present reality triggered me to feel something which feels very real in that moment, but ultimately it comes from a past experience. #timewarp I'm entirely grateful for the people that I have in my life and I'm ready to move forward even if it does mean taking baby steps. I've been MIA since the wonderful #beasttobeing retreat I attended this weekend, following on from that it led me to purge and let go of a lot of painful emotions that I didn't even realise I was still holding onto. One thing I've been realising about healing is that each time that you cry, release, do the inner work or shadow work, you get the opportunity to grow and to to remove a layer of the Onion that no longer serves you well. I feel an obtuse reminder of the 20th day

The day that I could slay

My inner dragons of pain

I am trying to gain control,

But it feels like I am losing it all

Twisted thoughts of bag encapsulates my mind

 The mind is a powerful tool

Only a fool uses it to argue

Fools do not think

They are drenched in stank

Outchea smelling all skanky

 I feel stuck and isolated

Isolated in my soul, body, spirit, heart

Those feelings should be let out like a fart

Stuck in isolation, solitude

I’m tryna gain a new attitude

 Stuck, what the fuck!!!

Can I do about this demented feeling

Of being stuck

An ode to things to come

Let’s try to conquer the concord

Of the fire elemental hydra

 The fight or flight response is in my mind

Feelings of being stuck

What the fuck,

The mind is a powerful tool

Get in congruence with your radius

The diameter might be cool

Stuck on thoughts of work

Working and being overstimulated

Fuck the rest

 Try and flow with serenity

Stop fighting the pangolin entity

Start embracing that you are depressed

Thoughts 2.0

I’m thinking about her again. It’s been months possibly over a year. I tried to do stuff to get my mind distracted and I deleted to try and see if I can forget. But the feelings just aren’t fading. I just wish I confessed when I had the chance. I was stupid to think I should’ve just kept to myself and build up a wall. Cause In the end i lost her completely.
