Es gibt fast keinen anderen Fest in Deutschland und in der Welt, an dem so viel Aufwand getrieben wird, wie an Weihnachten. Schon im Sommer findet man die Weihnachtmänner auf den Supermarkt-Regalen, bereits im November hängt schon Weihnachtsbeleuchtung und die Tannenbäume werden verkauft. Die ganze Lauferei wegen Weihnachtsgeschenken sollte man auch nicht vergessen. Ist man dann am Heiligen Abend…

I forgot to book the train ticket to Berlin and it got so expensive TT

I found a different connection and I really hope my friend didn't already book hers because then we can take that one.

Also I will need to book the return trips too which... so much money... And I haven' even paid for my part of the accomendations yet we still need to calculate that.

Holidays are so expensive...

wie haben lenz und goethe sich eigentlich kennen gelernt? war das liebe auf den ersten blick? wie lief es so ab? (warst du dabei?)

leider gibt es keine überlieferung dazu wie die beiden sich kennengelernt haben :( es war auf jeden fall 1771 in straßburg. goethe war da fürs studium und lenz war da im gefolge der kleists. eigentlich hatten die beiden verschiedene freundesgruppen die sich hier und da überschnitten haben, wie zum beispiel herder und johann daniel salzmann. es ist am wahrscheinlichsten, dass sie sich über so einen gemeinsamen freund kennengelernt haben

von seiten lenz war es schon sehr schnell eine art verehrung und goethe ist zu seinem literarischen vorbild geworden. goethe hat später gesagt, dass sie sich gar nicht so oft gesehen hatten und er lenz auch kaum kannte aber dass ist wieder so eine typische lügengeschichte aus dichtung und wahrheit (also lange nach dem lenz-goethe streit). sie haben sich tatsächlich ziemlich oft gesehen in der kurzen zeit in der sie beide da waren und ihr verhältnis war offensichtlich sehr eng (sie haben sich in briefen danach brüder genannt und sich gesagt dass sie sich lieben usw)

coolerweise haben wir von den briefen nicht mehr so viele originale, oft sind es nur abschriften oder drucke oder wir können uns den inhalt aus briefen an oder von freunden erschließen weil goethes hang zum beweisstückeverbrennen im hinblick auf lenz sehr intensiv war <3 es hält mich nachts wach <3

das unwissen ist natürlich schade für die wissenschaft aber ich weiß alles weil ich bei jedem schritt dabei war goethe hat mich nur gezwungen ein nda zu unterschreiben oh nein jetzt hab ich schon zu viel gesagt--------
