@resilientcreativespodcast is a project that began to develop in my mind during the winter of 2019. I was at a new fork in the road with my creativity after having to backtrack and find rediscover my truth. Grief, concussion & doubt circled through my being. I had been in similar states in the past but something was different this time. My relationship with my practice was strong enough to feel a new sense of pleasure while riding through the waves of the decaying process. For the first time I knew I was in a temporary state. I sensed an unnamed process unfolding and I knew I wasn't alone in this process. I began to talk to others who had committed themselves to path of being an artist. Brilliant stories, ideas, inspiration and opportunities began to bubble 🔥 I was curious how I could share the richness of the insights that were being shared.. was this a course, a book, a painting, just a personal journey... 18 months later I am grateful where this curiosity thread has led 🍃 I invite you to join the conversation as it unfolds 🌈 @victoria_news did a nice article on the Victoria based Podcasts that are participating along side myself in @storyhive first podcast cohort ✌️ . . . . #podcasting #podcast #podcastersofinstagram #storytelling #storyteller #storycatching #artistmother #artpractice #artistsdate #artisans #art #creativityprevails #resilentcreatives #resilentcreativespodcast #heartseedscreative #chantalsolomon #yyjlocals #yyjentrepreneurs #podcaster #podcastlife #victoriaartisans #victoriabc #vancouverislandartist #vanisland #Vancouverisland #arttherapy #proccess #create #makersmovement #selfcare (at Victoria, British Columbia) https://www.instagram.com/p/COwFTi6NYiM/?igshid=4djvfx770wg3

Hiii!! So uh. I'm officially free from my former job now and I have a lot more free time to read all the books I've bought lately. As of right now I'm reading the last book in the rebel of the sands trilogy and the karamazov brothers...and tomorrow i'm renewing my very old library pass. Also i've been following your blog for a while now and i love your stuff! Happy reading and writing!
hooray more free time!! i hope you were able to find a better job! i haven't heard of these books so i'm gonna have to look them up asap. my tbr is long but i will never say no to adding more books to it 😂
i keep meaning to get a library card! it's one of those things that's been on my list forever and i just never think to actually go do. maybe i will finally go do that this weekend!
send me something good! 🙂

May I know more about Lady Midday?
Certainly! In short, Poludnica is a spirit in slavic folklore, most well-known in west-slavic. She is a dangerous and playful creature that can be seen in the fields in the heat of midday. Basically, Poludnica can be seen as an embodiment of the heat, ergo sunstrokes, “forced sleep”, field fires are often the part of the lore. Here is the post in which I elaborate. Or rather a post in a post, sorry)
Here is my interpretation of a character to better illustrate the concept. And here is a character related to poludnica as a “family”, though his functions are a bit different)

Okay can i ask how you got blocked by rick riordan on twitter 3 times
story time!
first time it was because someone (clearly a young teen or a child) sent him some artwork they’d drawn of rick on twitter, and he replied with “you clearly have many talents! drawing is not of them.” and i was Angery so i was like uh dude? you’re aware you write for CHILDREN right? what the fuck is this! how can you say this to a young artist! you’re their favorite author how do you think that feels like you DICK. and he deleted it and subtweeted me and blocked me❤️ i have the screenshots of this somewhere on me blog
second time was me and my frens messing around because there was a theory he blocked everyone with a pjo related username/pfp so we changed our displays to pjo twitter accounts and asked him stuff (tame stuff i promise! actual doubts about his books!) and lo and behold, he blocks 3 out of 5 of us including moi 💕
third time honestly i don’t really remember but i’m pretty sure i either sent him a link of a critical tumblr post or someone quote tweeted one of my tweets and @ed him. if i’m not mistaken it was around when he deleted his tumblr account and was about that (so 2018?????)
idk why he blocks people to unblock but he also did it to many of my friends who he’d blocked too. guess all the ghostwriters leave him with lots of free time to fuck with 12 yr olds on twitter dot org

I was honestly surprised to see that Cress wasn't included in the list of Rapunzel adaptations discussed, esp since the podcast creators like it so much;)) Not to judge or impose and it's ok if you don't wanna answer but I wonder whether there was a reason for that? (Btw love your podcast!)
Oh absolutely! We love The Lunar Chronicles but the truth is that after Cinder, the multiple storylines get too complicated for us to be able to cover each book in a satisfying way. So one day we hope to do a month where we will cover media that includes multiple fairy tales, so we’ll definitely talk about all of the TLC books then!
But if you’re interested in hearing us talk about Cress a little bit, Cassie and I were on episode 77 of a different podcast called Prince Kai Fan Pod, which is a Marissa Meyer fan podcast where the host, Bethanie, is reading through the books chapter by chapter!
Thanks for asking and thanks for listening!

We deserve to have someone remember us.

I took a single sip of a monster energy drink on my 24th birthday and immediately my body reacted to the mistake by almost going into cardiac arrest, so no, but the clown observation is fair lmao
