Beautiful, huge mid-century modern 1959 brick home in St. Paul, MN. 7bds, 4ba, $800K. It's completely original, but I do have a few questions.
The entrance hall floor is flagstone, and it has a stone planter. On the left there's a semi-transparent wall with a large matching light fixture going thru it. Very stylish. Then, there's a railing to go down the stairs to the sunken living room.
The large living room has 2 mirrored wall inserts. The sleek modern fireplace has no hearth or mantel, it's set right into the wall.
There are dents in the carpet from the furniture, but are those circles actually sculpted details? Looks like they left 2 cool lucite stands.
The dining area alongside the kitchen is quite large and has a built-in banquette with shelves on the ends. There's also room for stools at the counter.
Very big kitchen with completely original cabinetry. Look at the little door in the backsplash.
Amazingly, all of the appliances are original too. And, look at the colorful mosaic backsplashes.
The den is very large, has a great stone fireplace wall, and tons of built-in storage.
Big, original bath with tile murals and a marble counter. That gold swan faucet is in again.
These two rooms connect. The carpet in one is beautiful and the other has a flagstone floor. I don't know, maybe it's an office. It does have an outer door.
I like the lamps in the hall. Could that be a laundry chute behind those 2 little doors?
This is a cool bedroom. What could that little door be for?
Love this original pink bath.
This is the largest bedroom and it's the primary b/c it has an en-suite.
Love the blue sink and toilet.
And, look at the mosaic wall over that blue tub.
Huge rec room downstairs. A nice bar would fit well beneath the lights. There are lots of built-in shelves and a stone fireplace wall.
There's also a full original kitchen down here. I like the ceiling of light, but what is that stuff up there?
This home is amazing. Another original fridge. Look at all the cabinetry and shelving.
Even the laundry room is huge. And, look at the drain in the floor in case of a flood situation.
This house just keeps on going. This is gorgeous and must count as the 7th bedroom.
And, right outside this room is this beautiful room. This home is crazy with the huge rooms and so many built-ins.
There's also a lovely yellow shower room down here w/an original sink and toilet. Also note the tile murals.
There's a terrace on the main level and a covered patio on the ground level.
Beautifully landscaped .53 acre. It doesn't have a pool, but look at how close the neighbor's pools are - Helloooo, neighbors!

The First Motorhome!
Remember when things were so much simpler? The Ford House-Car Q-dog
This is one of only six Ford House-cars said to have been made per year in the mid-30's at the Ford plant in St. Paul, Minnesota, according to an article in a 1993 "Old Cars" magazine.
Very few others - perhaps none - remain on the road and certainly not in such amazing original condition!
When discovered in a garage under a heavy cover in northern Minnesota in August of 2001, it had only 19,000 miles on the odometer and the owner's manual was still in the glove box in like-new condition!
The RV had always been garaged and treated with much 'TLC' as a collector vehicle.
The all wood lined interior was still the way it appeared in the '30's complete with framed photos of the original owner on his travels, mainly to Florida, and his cabin in the North Woods. It also had other memorabilia from that era.
The Ford House-car was built on a '37 Ford Pickup frame and cowling and was powered by a 60 horse power, flathead V-8 with aluminum heads. The rear framing is all wood, with the metal skin wrapped around it. The roof structure is all wood over which the heavy, waterproofed canvas top is still very securely fitted. The structure of the body is solid, appearing to be all oak hardwood and it's still in a remarkably unaltered, undamaged condition! The door frames are thick, solid oak as are the window frames although those have been painted over.
This House-car was a big hit at this campground once we got that great old 'flattie' V-8 hummin'! Note the expanding roof (it's that 'extra' roof piece barely visible in the picture) and the original dark green color, which has been repainted. All four side windows open while the back one tilts out in three positions. The windshield also tilts open at the bottom for 'natural' AC while driving. Here are a few shots of the Ford House-car on the road...
Here's a look at the interior.
It's a slice right out of 1930's just as the original owner had it. All the windows have curtains for privacy and there are pull-down shades on the back window, as well as on the driver's and passenger door windows. Note the wide storage cabinet under the bed.
The wood headliner gives the 'cabin' a warm and inviting rustic feel. You can also see it has a ceiling vent and the canvas expanding roof portion visible in this picture. Four wood pieces securely support the expansion when it's in the 'up' position, while clamps secure it when it's down while traveling.
Note the cedar branches hanging in the corners to give the cabin a natural, north woods aroma. Cabinets and the aluminum sink, that includes a wooden cover insert, are visible on the left. All the antiques inside, as well as on the walls, came along for the ride. Also note the collapsible table behind the driver's seat.
It's amazing how simple vehicles were back then! No computerization to be concerned about!

Season 2 Theories
Possessions. Jon and Elias, the eye and the thing from angler fish respectively.
Not Sasha. Large part of season 2, table too. Tim involved?
Jon and Martin. Jon's paranoid, I am worried about what happened in the panic room because bonding might be broken. This will most definitely effect martin for the worse, leading to later problems.
Gertrude's death. Reasons Jons paranoid, gonna have to do with martin (as listed above), Dreamer says it was violent, three shots to the chest.
The Church of the Divine Host. The eye? Unsure of its connection to anything. Please note: the man burning. Edwin Burroghs possession was a ceremony in session? Kathy unscrewing lightbulbs and the spinach-like substance.
Jergen Leitneir. Fuck this guy, rich ass pimp, going to be the deaths of way to many (almost surely innocent) people. The tomb and under the building.
Tims dying. Only character w/out side plot (so far, Not Sasha? Unsure.) All signs point to yes.
New characters? Maybe Melanie King??? Unsure.
The sky???? Maybe????????? Unsure.
Beacon and Hope Deliveries. In two episodes, will be important. The delivery men from 35, was it? Coffin reappearance?
Places to remember. 93 Lancaster Rd, Hilltop Rd, St. Thomas Hospital,
The family with straight faces. Related to 34? (Thoughts are going to 24 as well, but doubtful.) Unsure.
Lost Johns Cave. Unsure of connections, has to do with the dark, like the guy from angler fish, amogst other things.
Major Tom. He better show up or I'm throwing HANDS. The spider on the shelf that Jon broke? Jon has Arachnophobia, has to do with this episode? Unsure.
The Meat. Where did the man upstairs get it from? Has to do with the Killing Floor?
The Circus of the Other (specifically Nikolai Oretsev) Unsure of its connections, but will be important.
Micheal, has to do w Not Sasha? I am almost positive there are more of him.
The spirit haunting Paul Macenzie, unsure of connections, possibly 24?
Death. Unsure of its connection to the main plot, but death is a largely feared thing. so will be connected somehow I believe.
Jon's fear. Connected to Martin somehow? He has a fear of many a thing.
The Hiker. Or, more accurately, The Hunter. Unsure of its connections but will be important to something.
The crew of the Tundra. Possible connections are as follows; The Church of the Divine Host, other sacrifice cult things?
Gertrude's filings. She solved it and thats how they were filed. By major plot lines (or…fears)
The sickness. similar to the man upstairs? Unsure. Trevor makes and appearance however and might reappear?
The Vase. Or, more accurately, the creature within it. I am unsure of its connections to the main plot but it will reappear in artifact storage
Mikilaie Sailsa. No i didnt spell that right but alas. He is the keeper of things that are 'lost' in my opinion. Connected to Leitner. Sold table to Graham? Unsure.
No more Jane. No more worms. Please.
#toot toot I'm hopping on the paranoia train with Jon#tma season two#i binged 12 episodes today#finishing season 1 and my bain is MUSH#i will cry if the worms reappear#if anyone spoils anything no you didnt#the magnus archives#jonathan sims#martin blackwood#sasha james#timothy stoker#i have a love hate relationship with this podcast#brb imma go cry

Research...
Epilepsy is caused by abnormal electrical activity in the brain (discovery made by Hans Berger 1924). Epilepsy is a chronic noncommunicable disease of the brain that affects people of all ages. Around 50 million people worldwide have epilepsy, making it one of the most common neurological diseases globally. People with epilepsy often have problems with unemployment, healthcare and social ostracism which can lead to mental health problems.
In the past people with epilepsy have been killed, victims to exorcisms, locked in mental institutions, unallowed to marry, encouraged to be sterilised, and denyed service from public facilities in America well into the 1970s. The first evidence of epilepsy was recorded on an old Akkadian tablet 4000years ago that described it as evil spirits entering the body. The Akkadian empire was the first ancient empire of Mesopotamia. The Ancient Egyptians believed that the cause was due to cortical disruption and Ancient Chinese texts from 770-221 BC reveals that acupuncture was used as a cure.
Epilepsy has been believed to be witchcraft, a sacred disease inflicted by the gods, contagious, bad karma from your ancestors, special abilities used to cure the ill, sickness due to a mother's neglect and an attempt by demons to pull you down to the underworld. Many exorcisms have been conducted on people with epilepsy famously in 1976 with Annelise Michel. Her story was adapted into a film called 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose'. Features of epilepsy have believed to be insanity, violent madness, murderous tendencies, moral depravity, hyperreligiousilty, hypergraphia and hyposexuality. In the 5th century. The school of Hippocrates discovered that the disease wasn't sacred or special and believed that it was curable. They discovered it was a neurological disorder and discovered it was hereditary as opposed to contagious.
Epilepsy is mentioned in three of the four gospels of the Bible (Matthew mark and Luke). Mark chapter 9 describes how Jesus cured a lunatic of demonic possession. It was believed that cures involved religious rituals and spiritual interventions or shoving people through a natural opening eg. through a hole in a tree. Christina the Astonishing was buried alive after people believing her to be dead after a seizure. She wasn't the only religious figure to have been believed to suffer from epilepsy, others include Joan of arc, St Paul, St Cecilia and St Teresa of Avila. Some people believed that St Teresa of Avila suffered from temporal lobe epilepsy (Vincent Van Gogh is also speculated to have had this type of epilepsy). The temporal lobe is located at the front of the brain and is responsible for processing emotions and the storage of short term memory. These seizures often bring auras, hallucinations, intense emotions like pain and pleasure. This theory might explain St Teresa's visions and writings. Epilepsy can often cause hyperreligiousity as many have spiritual experiences.
From this research I've found that throughout history people have constantly debated whether epilepsy is demonic or divine?

🎯 Disney sued by Adeia over Hulu, ESPN streaming technology
On November 8, technology company Adeia (ADEA.O) filed a lawsuit against Disney (DIS.N) in federal court in Delaware, alleging that Disney's streaming platforms—Hulu, ESPN+, and Disney+—infringe on six of Adeia’s patents related to advancements in video streaming technology. Disney representatives did not provide an immediate response to requests for comment regarding the lawsuit, which was filed on Thursday.
In a statement on Thursday, Adeia CEO Paul Davis expressed a preference for resolving disputes through negotiation rather than legal action, as the company has done with most of its clients. "However, we had no choice but to protect our intellectual property against Disney's unauthorized use," he stated. Davis also noted that Adeia is still "open to negotiating a solution that provides fair compensation" to the company.
Adeia, headquartered in San Jose, California, was previously the intellectual property licensing arm of TiVo owner Xperi until Xperi became an independent entity in 2022. According to the lawsuit, Adeia holds over 11,500 patents and patent applications and has licensed its media-related patents to major companies such as AT&T, Verizon, and Comcast. Earlier this year, Adeia resolved a dispute with X Corp concerning alleged patent infringements involving technology for content recommendations, digital advertising, and social media integration.
In the lawsuit filed on Thursday, Adeia claimed that Disney’s streaming platforms have infringed on its patents related to enhanced streaming technology, cloud data storage, episode progress tracking, and other innovations. Adeia requested the court to award monetary damages, the amount of which was not specified, and to issue an injunction to prevent further alleged infringement by Disney.

June of 2024 was a rather somber time in St. Paul. Old, historically significant locomotives were being cut up for scrap. Most of these had been sitting in storage for a good while with big issues like frame cracks, which would've cost too much to repair.
If you've ever wondered what a GP38-2 looks like without its cab & body, wonder no more. Those bits were ripped off by the Volvo excavator that conveniently blocked my shot, for easy access to the engine. I'm not sure if they pulled it out or just stripped all the usable components off. This frame belonged to CP 7312, which was built in 1972 for the Lehigh Valley RR.
The most significant locomotive in the line-up was SOO 2010. Built in 1966 for the Milwaukee Road, it retained its original paint through two mergers and was the very last locomotive on the CP roster with Milwaukee Road paint. It was stored in North Minneapolis from 2016 to early April of 2023, when it was brought over to St. Paul and stripped of usable parts. Around October, it was moved from the shops to a nearby line of idle locomotives, where it sat until its scrapping. At least one group tried to preserve the 2010 as a static display, but sadly none of their offers were accepted. After it was cut up, the front of the nose was put up for sale for $2500, but I'm not sure if anyone actually bought it. I tried to buy the plate that says 190 (the locomotive's original number) but that whole assembly was being sold as-is, and it couldn't be cut off. I'm still sad that I couldn't get that random piece of rusty metal.
The pile of scrap you see is the cab & hood assemblies of CP 7312 and CP 5878. A little bit of #5878's engine block is visible in the left corner of the picture. The two engines in the background, CP 4617 and CP 4602, would suffer the same fate in the near future.

Mostar
City in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Mostar is a city in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina, straddling the Neretva River. It’s known for the iconic Stari Most (Old Bridge), a reconstructed medieval arched bridge. The nearby alleys are full of shops and market stalls, and the Old Bridge Museum explores the bridge’s long history. A narrow staircase leads up to the Koski Mehmed-Pasha Mosque’s minaret for panoramic city views
Area code: +387 (0) 36
Canton: Herzegovina-Neretva
Elevation: 60 m (200 ft)
Founded: 1452
Mostar is a city and the administrative center of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina,[6] and the historical capital of Herzegovina.
Mostar is situated on the Neretva River and is the fifth-largest city in the country.[8] Mostar was named after the bridge keepers (mostari) who guarded the Stari Most (Old Bridge) over the Neretva during the Ottoman era. The Old Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site,[10] commissioned by Suleiman the Magnificent in the 16th century, is one of Bosnia and Herzegovina's most visited landmarks, and is considered an exemplary piece of Islamic architecture in the Balkans

Human settlements on the river Neretva, between Mount Hum and the Velež Mountain, have existed since prehistory, as witnessed by discoveries of fortified enceintes and cemeteries. Evidence of Roman occupation was discovered beneath the present town....
Neretva also known as Narenta, is one of the largest rivers of the eastern part of the Adriatic basin. Four hydroelectric power plants with large dams (higher than 150,5 metres) provide flood protection, power and water storage. It is recognized for its natural environment and diverse landscapes

Stari Most also known as Mostar Bridge, is a rebuilt 16th-century Ottoman bridge in the city of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It crosses the river Neretva and connects the two parts of the city, which is named after the bridge keepers (mostari) who guarded the Stari Most during the Ottoman era.
The Museum of the Old Bridge is a museum located in the Old Town Area of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The museum opened in 2006 to celebrate the second anniversary of the reconstruction of the Stari Most (transl. Old Bridge). The museum's premises are within the Tara Tower and they consist of three distinct sections

During the 1660s, manservants were often found to be nutty for storeys, or the different levels or floors of buildings. This was due to several reasons, including the architectural trends of the time and the role of manservants in domestic households.
Firstly, during the 1660s, there was a growing fascination with the grandeur and opulence of buildings, particularly in major cities. This was evident in the construction of large and elaborate buildings, with many storeys, such as the famous St Paul's Cathedral in London. Manservants, who were often tasked with maintaining these buildings, would have been exposed to the lavishness of these structures and may have developed a fascination with the different levels and designs.
Secondly, manservants during this time were often responsible for managing the daily operations of the household, which included maintaining the physical structure of the building. This involved climbing stairs, attending to repairs on different levels, and ensuring that the building was in good condition. As a result, they would have become well-versed in the different levels and their specific purposes, leading to their infatuation with storeys.
Additionally, the status and role of manservants during this time may have contributed to their interest in storeys. Manservants were often considered to be higher in rank than other servants and were expected to have a good understanding of household management. As storeys were an essential part of a building's layout and design, being knowledgeable about them could add to a manservant's prestige and reputation.
Furthermore, manservants may have also been intrigued by the unique features of each storey and the stories behind them. For example, the attic or top floor of a building was often used for storage or servants' quarters, while the bottom floor or basement was frequently used for storage or to house kitchen staff. These distinct purposes and the stories behind them could have piqued the curiosity and interest of manservants.
In conclusion, during the 1660s, manservants were fascinated with storeys due to the architectural trends of the time, their responsibilities as household managers, and the prestige associated with having knowledge about different levels of a building. Their nuttiness for storeys highlights the importance of buildings and their design in society during this era.

BTW - Thursday is the 80th Anniversary of D Day.
Give me two good reasons we should shoot Greg.
Ok....
Gregory Edward McLean, 40, of Jacksonville, Florida, was sentenced [Thursday, May 30, 2024] to 160 months for distributing child sexual abuse material and 120 months for unlawfully retaining classified national defense information. The sentences will be served concurrently.
According to court documents, state law enforcement in Rhode Island received a cyber tipline report that a user of a particular messaging application had shared videos depicting the sexual abuse of young children. The investigation identified the user as McLean, who was at that time an active-duty officer in the U.S. Navy, with the rank of Lieutenant Commander and serving as the executive officer of a ship stationed aboard a Naval Station Mayport in Florida. The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) continued the investigation and identified additional instances where McLean had distributed child sexual abuse material. On Nov. 4, 2021, agents executed a federal search warrant at McLean’s residence, during which they seized numerous electronic devices and storage media. A forensic review revealed that several of these items contained files depicting the sexual abuse of minors.
The forensic review also identified a flash drive which had been recovered from McLean’s kitchen counter that contained approximately 150 documents containing national defense information classified at the secret level and 50 documents containing national defense information classified at the confidential level. An investigation by NCIS and the FBI revealed that throughout his service as a naval officer, McLean had access to classified information and held a top-secret security clearance. ***

***officers responded to an apartment building on Blaisdell Avenue on reports of a shooting. Minneapolis police officer Jamal Mitchell was the first officer to arrive on-scene. Over the radio, he said that he observed two men with injuries in the street, later identified as Mohamed and a bystander who had been shot. Mitchell got out of his car and approached Mohamed, who was sitting next to a parked vehicle. Mitchell asked Mohamed if he was hurt and needed help. Without warning, Mohamed pulled out a handgun and shot Mitchell at close range. Mitchell fell to the ground, incapacitated. Additional officers arrived at the scene and saw Mohamed continuing to shoot Mitchell. As the officers approached, Mohamed started shooting at them. That's when Kapinos and Kittock returned fire, striking Mohamed. Officers attempted life-saving care but Mohamed died at the scene. Mitchell died at the hospital. Kittock was injured in the exchange of gunfire. He was treated and released from the hospital. A Minneapolis firefighter was also treated for injuries related to this incident. The bystander who was shot remains hospitalized in critical, but stable condition.*** https://dps.mn.gov/divisions/ooc/news-releases/Pages/BCA-identifies-officers-who-used-force-in-Minneapolis-incident.aspx
Mohamed
***had spent more than half his life in and out of serious trouble with the law, according to court records. At the time of his death, two warrants were active for the arrest of 35-year-old Mustafa Ahmed Mohamed in connection with charges that he possessed a gun on a downtown Minneapolis street in the summer of 2022 in violation of the terms of his sentences for burglaries in the city in 2006 and 2007. In April 2015, about halfway into his nearly 18 years of committing crimes ranging from auto theft to a violent residential break-in, Mohamed stood in the St. Paul courtroom of U.S. District Judge Donovan Frank to hear his sentence for being a felon in possession of a stolen gun while in an Eden Prairie apartment complex garage. In what Frank hoped would be a moment of reckoning, Mohamed heard the judge outline his crimes up to that point, among them the two felony-level burglaries and a charge in Tennessee of being part of child sex trafficking ring, a case that was ultimately dismissed against him and the others.*** [Judge Frank sentenced him leniently, but Mohammed never gave up crime.] https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/lengthy-criminal-past-of-man-accused-of-killing-jamal-mitchell-includes-burglary-weapon-convictions

Susan Eggman, D-Stockton, blasted members of her own party for weakening a bill aimed at combating child sex trafficking and prostitution. “As a progressive proud member of this body for the last 12 years, I’m done,” Eggman said on the floor of the California State Capitol last Thursday. “I’m done with us protecting people who would buy and abuse our children. I’m done.” “I don’t want to send more black and brown men to prison,” noted the lawmaker. “I don’t want more people in prison. But I don’t want people buying girls.” “I don’t want people buying little girls anymore,” Eggman continued. “And I’m tired of saying it’s okay, and that we have to protect the men who do it.” Eggman cited her experience as a social worker and working with many people “wounded to their core” by sexual violence. “We have a moral responsibility to say, ‘Enough,’” she stressed. “Enough.”*** https://catholicvote.org/lawmaker-done-with-fellow-democrats-over-weakness-toward-pedophiles

Colleen acting all judicial
Paulette Harlow, age 75, was sentenced in a Washington, D.C. federal court on the afternoon of May 31 in relation to her participation in an October 2020 rescue action at the Washington Surgi-Clinic abortion facility, run by notorious abortionist Cesare Santangelo.***
Harlowe was one of about nine pro-lifers who chained themselves inside an abortion clinic waiting room. They didn't hit anyone. Assuming they're guilty as charged, they should be sentenced appropriately, and they should be proud to be sentenced. They should regard themselves as blessed to be sentenced.
In spite of Harlow’s poor health, however, Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly sentenced her to serve 24 months in federal prison, followed by 36 months of supervised release. *** After pronouncing sentence, Kollar-Kotelly made a cryptic statement regarding her hope that Harlow would “make an effort to remain alive” because that is a “tenet of [Harlow’s] religion.” Harlow is being permitted to remain on house arrest while determinations are being made regarding which federal facility is suitable to provide her necessary level of medical care. Like her co-defendants, she is being forbidden from coming within 1000 feet of any abortion facility during her period of supervised release. https://www.liveaction.org/news/elderly-prolifers-husband-begs-mercy-prison/

State employees tried to warn managers at the Colorado Bureau of Investigation that forensic scientist Yvonne “Missy” Woods had been manipulating data as early as 2014 — almost a decade before the agency investigated and discovered she had intentionally manipulated evidence in hundreds of criminal cases she handled over her 29-year career, the agency said Wednesday. Doubts over Woods’ work were cited in 2014 when a coworker questioned her testing of evidence in a case and reported the concerns to a technical leader, according to a summary of findings from the 94-page internal affairs report. Woods was suspended from working on criminal cases in 2018, after she was accused of manipulating data, CBI said. She was then reinstated after a review. The results of the review were never passed on to the agency’s director or the Colorado Department of Public Safety leadership, CBI said, adding that officials are further investigating why that was the case. It wasn’t until September 2023, after an intern reported an anomaly in Woods’ test data at the lab, that CBI launched a deeper probe into Woods’ work and found that she manipulated data in the testing process, and in some cases, posted incomplete test results, in cases she handled between 2008 and 2023. *** https://coloradosun.com/2024/06/05/yvonne-missy-woods-internal-affair-report-cbi/
Whatever you do, don't look up Dr. Frederic Whitehurst and his whistleblowing about the FBI lab's shoddy practices.

What up Wisconsin?
The warden and eight staff members of a maximum-security prison in Wisconsin were charged Wednesday following the deaths of four inmates over the past year. Randall Hepp, the warden of Waupun Correctional Institution, and three of the staff members were charged with misconduct in public office, according to Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt. All eight staff members face charges of inmate abuse.*** Dean Hoffman, a Waupun inmate, died by suicide in June 2023 after spending nine days in solitary confinement. His daughter filed a federal lawsuit alleging that prison officials did not provide him with sufficient medications and mental healthcare. In October, Tyshun Lemons died in prison after overdosing on fentanyl and Cameron Williams died of a stroke. Williams’s body was not discovered for at least 12 hours after his death. The death of the fourth inmate, Donald Maier, in February was ruled a homicide due to malnutrition and water deprivation, according to Schmidt. The charges against Hepp and the eight staff members concern the deaths of Williams and Maier. If convicted, Hepp, who announced his retirement last week, could face up to 3 1/2 years in prison. *** https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/campaigns/state/3029972/wisconsin-prison-warden-charged-inmate-deaths

The smartest man Pres Biden knows
WILMINGTON, Delaware — A former gun store clerk defended his sales practices as he was grilled by Hunter Biden‘s attorney during the first son’s trial on Wednesday. Gordon Cleveland, who sold Biden a revolver in 2018, testified that he was more interested in selling customers “quality” items than expensive ones.*** Cleveland testified that he watched Biden fill out the form, which prosecutors displayed as an exhibit to the courtroom. The form featured Biden’s signature and showed the first son had checked off “no” in response to a question about whether he was an unlawful drug user or drug addict. He said Biden filled it out at a normal pace “like you would do with any form.” Cleveland recalled how Biden had driven up to the store in a black Cadillac, walked into the small shop, and told the clerk he was looking for a revolver. The former store clerk said he proceeded to show Biden the Colt Cobra line, which he said was a nicer brand that does a lot of high-end things.” Derek Hines, a government prosecutor, then presented to the courtroom the gun Biden had purchased. It had a dark wooden handle and featured Colt Cobra insignia. Hines walked the gun, fastened to the inside of a cardboard box, over to Cleveland to verify it and then displayed it for jurors. A receipt for nearly $900 entered into evidence showed Biden purchased with cash the revolver, ammunition, a BB gun, a speedloader, and two other items unrelated to guns from Cleveland’s shop on Oct. 12, 2018. Cleveland said he explained the differences in full metal jacket and hollow point ammunition to Biden. He said the first son then chose the latter, which was better for self-defense.***
