Last week, FEMA announced a nearly $9 billion shortfall for Hurricane Helene recovery efforts. On the same day, Israel announced it was receiving $8.7 billion in military funding from the United States. Since then, Hurricane Helene has devastated communities across six states as flooding stretches for over 600 miles.
The storm’s devastation and lack of government funding for local infrastructure and response has left over 100 people reported dead with hundreds more unaccounted for. Millions of Americans are stranded without water, food, electricity, or gas.
Every dollar the US government spends on genocide in Palestine cannot be used to protect our own communities. The US cannot continue to provide billions of dollars in weapons for Israel’s war crimes in Gaza and Lebanon while Americans suffer from lack of investment here.
We understand this catastrophe within the context of the Israeli government’s genocide and ongoing dispossession of people across the Middle East. We cannot mourn the loss of precious people and places in this country and turn away from the same devastation our tax dollars fund in Palestine and Lebanon.
We cannot separate the climate crisis we’re witnessing at home from the immense damage to the earth the US and Israeli militaries have caused for decades. Israeli colonialism is responsible for the destruction of Palestine’s natural ecological systems and a major contributor to climate change. The US military is the biggest contributor to global climate catastrophe.
Palestinian liberation includes ending the climate crisis and protecting all people — from the US to Palestine. We will not waver in our demand for our government to STOP ARMING ISRAEL and end the preventable deaths of so many across Palestine, Lebanon, and the United States.

OVER 60,000 TAKE TO THE STREETS IN DENMARK ON #LANDDAY ✊🇵🇸❤️‍🔥
On March 30th, Copenhagen was filled with flags, kuffiyehs, signs, and chants to mark the 48th anniversary of Land Day. Protesters gathered from Sweden, Norway, and Denmark to stand in solidarity with Palestine and solemn remembrance amid the ongoing, brutal campaign of annihilation carried out by ‘israeli’ occupation forces.
The demand for an immediate ceasefire, humanitarian aid, and justice echoed through the city. We WILL see an end to the genocide, we WILL see accountability for Danish complicity in these atrocities, and we WILL see a free and liberated Palestine from the river to the sea, to which its people will return 🇵🇸❤️‍🔥✊

A two state solution is ridiculous. Israel deserves nothing after what they've done and Palestine deserves everything, their own land and their freedom!

Yesterday in France the groups Stop Arming Israel and Tsedek! (Anti colonialism Jewish group that has been attacked and censored multiple times in France) organized a small protest to block Thales a firm who manufacture weapons that are sold to “Israel”.
Somebody driving a black car tried to run over them. They didn’t slow down and drove slowly past the group or anything. They were driving fast so it was on purpose.
There’s a video and the license plate is fully visible on it. So if the cops or media wanna do anything about it they easily can but strangely I’m convinced they won’t cause I saw nothing about it on the news. I actually learned about it accidentally.
Edit: For the people asking to my knowledge there was no physical injuries. Tsedek! Didn’t mention anyone getting injured and on the video it looks like everyone was able to avoid the car. Also the amount of Zionist regretting that none of the protesters were physically injured is very telling when you know that a lot of the people protesting were Jewish. Also Stop arming Israel announced that they contacted their lawyers with the video and the license plate of the car cause they don’t plan on letting the whole go unpunished.
Edit 2: Here is Tsedek! Tweet about what happened with the video. If you scroll up a bit on Tsedek! Profile you will see Stop Arming Israel’s tweet too.

Ladies and gentlemen, John Cusack, in his own words. He's one of the few major celebrities to put his money where his mouth is. He's just been declared "Antisemite of the Week" by Stop Antisemitism USA.

Blockading factories is probably one of the most effective thing people in the UK (and elsewhere in the Western world) can do to support Palestine right now.
Donations that will actually reach the ground are also good.
I'm not saying marches and other actions aren't worthwhile- I do think they are. If a senior UK politician called for a ceasefire, that would be something. And obviously if we could persuade the UK government to ban the export of arms and military parts to Israel, that would be huge.
But in the meantime, if we can stop arms from being built, if we can slow down the Israeli war machine at all, that may save lives.
And the more people who turn up to these actions, the better- this makes them safer and more effective.
Also, for transport workers, especially in ports, if we can stop this stuff leaving the country, that is incredibly valuable too.

This has to be one of the most twisted, sadistic things I’ve heard of yet.

YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW IMPORTANT THIS IS
JUST STOP FUCKING SCROLLING PLEASE!!!
GO FOLLOW @esraa.mohamed19 on Instagram!!!!
My friend Esra’a Mohammed is a woman stuck in Gaza! She and her family became homeless after October 7th and have no safe place to go.
At any moment they could all die! Her children have burns and injuries from bombings, she could die from infection or disease because there is no safe food or clean water to drink!
Her brother and his daughter has already become martyrs, and her mother suffered a heart attack after finding out about their deaths!
Please, she has a Gofundme on her Instagram, the money goes directly to her and her family! She is my friend, she is so incredibly kind and loving, I don’t know what I’ll do if she were to die. Please don’t let my friend die!

Repost @theimeu
"The Israeli government has committed genocide against Palestinians in Gaza for an entire year now, killing well over 41,500 Palestinians, nearly 40% of whom were children.
We know how we got here. This violence is a direct result of our government’s continual enabling and co-signing of the Israeli government’s genocidal actions across all of occupied Palestine.
Palestinians cannot take another day of this unconscionable violence. Now more than ever, they need our solidarity.
Solidarity with Palestinians can take many forms, from showing up to a protest to talking to and organizing people in your community to take action against Israel’s oppression of Palestinians.
Palestinian freedom will liberate us all. No matter how you show up for Palestinians, it’s important that you do because none of us are free until all of us are free - and that includes Palestinians."
