i’m sorry i won’t stop talking about trollhunters a show that no people have watched because absolutely nobody did it like guillermo del toro did it.

the in depth and completely unique fantasy lore that blends so well into an urban setting and tells the best story i’ve ever seen about the curse of destiny being disguised as a blessing. the young hero that is so beat down by fear and violence over the course of the story that he isolates himself and rejects his friends because he sees no way forward without them getting hurt (and they do get hurt. three of his closest friends die and so does he). the dedication to the idea that yes you are suffering, but if you (a child) hadn’t have been chosen as the world’s protector and hadn’t chosen yourself to be the sacrifice the world and everyone you love would have burned and that being given a choice that is not a choice is the blessing (curse) of heroism.

three seasons that consistently raise the bar in terms of emotional depth and arcs that build on one another and feature some of the scariest villains i’ve ever seen. backed with an amazing score by alexandre desplat and unique and inspired character designs and some bits that legitimately get me to laugh out loud.

like without taking into account additional content and the spin offs that completely turn their back on each and every one of these themes and somehow re-disguise the curse as a blessing (in just 5 minutes of screen time, believe it or not) i’m just baffled at how good the show is on its own and at the fact that like 5 people have watched it and you could not pay me to shut up about so idk yeah watch it

Krel: That’s actually a grape fruit you can tell because it’s painted to be pink with an orange rind and also it’s larger than the lime. Grape fruit is also known to help with digestive issues despite being commonly agreed to be the most disgusting of the citrus. Which circles round to the idea that the more poison is in food the more likely a human is to eat it. This is also displayed through the foods known as chocolate and peppermint both of which are known to be poisonous amongst most earthly animals meanwhile humans eat it for its taste.

I’ve finally figured out the Hollywood Chrises 

Chris Pine, with his joy in the D&D movie, has cemented himself as the character actor Chris. He’s actually the natural successor to the Harrison Ford leading role energy because he relaxes into each character with a natural charm.  Chris Evans is the leading role Chris. He’s the big name, acting chops, and the classic Tumblr Dorito manshape that will bring people to the movies for a fun time and a pretty face. He and Pine are what Hollywood keeps trying to make Chris Pratt be by himself. Chris Hemsworth is unfortunately too Australian for any hollywood chris-type other than Chris Himbosworth. Big, strong, a little dumb, a man inexplicably beloved by lesbians.  Chris Pratt is just a shitbag.
