Galleys for your book opened with a quote from Shakespeare, “Tears water our growth.” How did you come across it? Why that quote?
I know this will come as a shock, but not everything I read on the internet is true! While this quote was attributed to Shakespeare, we did a little digging and there is no record of him ever saying or writing this, even though it’s constantly attributed to him. Although, in “As You Like It,” he does write: “Sweet are the uses of adversity. …” [The quote is now attributed to Author Unknown.]

“I wasn’t drafted by the NFL,” Gleason said. “I am not a Ph.D. academic or some enlightened guru. I’m just a regular dude, but I have been able to overcome some enormous adversity in this life. While I have experienced immense suffering, I have been able to survive, move through the suffering, be productive and find purpose and joy. In this way, I’ve been able to find something of a formula for resilience … for resilience in real life.”

Okay so here are two new characters with the same face because I can’t help (shoutout and thanks to @randomestfandoms-ocs for the name suggestion for Glee and just helping in general)
So meet Theodore Gleason for Gilmore Girls
He’s Kirk’s nephew and a Jess ship (unless I end up making another oc for him but for now, Jess). Usually goes by Theo, he helps Miss Patty a lot but his actual job is at Doose Market
And Steve Schuester for Glee
He’s Will’s son from when Terri and Will were on a break (fucking with canon for this it’s okay), Terri kinda hates him a lot. He’s named after Steve Perry from Journey and he’s a Quinn ship

Captains America Reunite in “Captain America: Cold War”
Tumblr media
Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson have both been using the mantle of Captain America in the pages of Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty by Jackson Lanzing, Collin Kelly, and Carmen Carnero and Captain America: Symbol of Truth by Tochi Onyebuchi and R.B. Silva. Now the two Captains are about to reunited for the crossover event Captain America: Cold War.
Spoilers ahead.
Cold War kicks off with a prelude in Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty #11. Captain America and the Invaders are free of M.O.D.O.C.’S mind control, but now the Outer Circle has arrived. Steve will have to fight the Power and end the Outer Circle’s invasion of Manhattan for good.
Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty goes on sale on April 5, 2023.
Captain America: Cold War Alpha #1 hails from writers Collin Kelly, Jackson Lanzing, and Tochi Onybuchi and artist Carlos Magno. “Bucky Barnes is the Outer Circle’s New Revolution, and he has enacted his deadliest move yet—an alliance with Sam Wilson’s nemesis, the White Wolf. When Steve Rogers’ adopted son, Ian, AKA Nomad, is abducted by someone Steve thought was a friend, he suspects Bucky’s hand at work and calls upon the people who know Ian best -- Sam Wilson, Sharon Carter, and Misty Knight -- to help him get to the bottom of the attack. Has Bucky finally gone too far? Why has Nomad been taken, and what does it have to do with a portal to Dimension Z opening over a secret battleground in Alaska?” (Marvel Comics)
Captain America: Cold War Alpha #1, featuring a cover by Patrick Gleason, goes on sale on April 12, 2023.
Captain America: Symbol of Truth #12 is part two of Cold War. Will Sam Wilson and Steve Rogers be able to agree on the priorities needed to end the newest threat? White Wolf has taken control of Dimension Z and set the creatures on Sam and Steve and it also turns out that the Outer Circle has more stakes in the fight than the Captains realized. Also, What are Bucky’s plans for Ian Rogers?
Captain America: Symbol of Truth #12 goes on sale on April 26, 2023.
