Itatí Cantoral Vs. Audrey Meadows
Propaganda
Itatí Cantoral - (María la del Barrio) - People might not know her name or have seen her show, but they’ve seen the memes
Audrey Meadows - (The Honeymooners) - She had a great sarcastic bite that set her apart from the other TV housewives of the era. Pop culture remembers her show as the one where the husband threatens to hit her for laughs, but when I actually watched the show I was struck by how the joke was really that for all her husband's bluster, it was clear who really ran the household.

Additional propaganda below the cut
Itatí Cantoral:
Everyone’s been asking what this is about, so:
Soraya is the lady and she is the villain of the show, she used the guy, who is obviously younger to get revenge on her enemy who is his mom and dad. The girl in the wheelchair is her stepdaughter, who’s father she had killed to take their money and she hates her obviously. She hates all of them, especially after that kiss and vows to kill them all.
TW: domestic violence, abuse, blood, murder, stabbing

The layout of the kramden's apartment always just depressed the hell out of me as a kid
I was familiar with black and white shows that took place even farther back then The Honeymooners and the bleakness of the set just distracted me from anything going on
